Abstract

This research is aiming at knowing the passing grade of students’ achievement, the activity of students and teacher in the teaching learning process of perkalian by using realistic approach. It was designed by using a classroom action research that took place at Class IV-2 MIN Tungkob, Aceh Besar. The subject chosen was 37 students. The data were collected by observation and test. The data got then analyzed by using mean score and percentage formula. From the result of three cycles of teaching, it was found that students could achieve the passing grade at 83,3% classically. Students activities also showed an ideal time which is 86,5%. Meanwhile, the teacher’s ability to manage the classroom was in the level of good (4,4).

Abstract

Quasi-experimental study design with the pre-test and post-test is aimed to obtain objectiveinformation about the effectiveness of cooperative learning type STAD in improving students' mathematical understanding of class V MIN. The population of this study is student of class VMIN in the city of Banda Aceh. Based on the results of data analysis, improving the ability ofmathematical understanding in the experimental class and control class is quietly different in terms of level of school (good, adequate and low). The difference increased capability is then tested statistically by ANOVA test using two pathways with significance level (α) = 0,05. From the results of different test can be concluded that the increased understanding ofmathematical abilities of students through cooperative learning type STAD better than on improving the understanding of mathematical abilities of students through conventional learning.

Abstract

Salah satu bentuk inovasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru adalah dengan merancang media seven in one. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang dirancang dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang terbuat dari kotak catur yaitu seven in one. Data diperoleh dari lembar validasi dan angket diolah dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kepraktisan penggunaan media seven in one. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian dari ahli media baik dari aspek bahan dan aspek pemanfaatan yaitu dengan persentase masing-masing 100% dan 96,9%. Demikian juga penilaian dari ahli materi yaitu dengan persentase 100% yang menunjukkan kriteria sangat valid. Pengembangan media seven in one ditinjau dari uji kepraktisan dinyatakan praktis untuk diterapkan pada siswa kelas V MI/SD berdasarkan beberapa indikator yaitu: Indikator kemudahan, kejelasan, kesesuian, tampilan, dan kemenarikan. Masing-masing memperoleh persentasenya 87,1%, 87,1%, 89,2%, 90,8%, dan 90,85%. Demikian juga halnya respon guru terhadap indikator kemudahan, kejelasan, kesesuian, tampilan, dan kemenarikan. Masing-masing memperoleh persentasenya 97,5%, 92,5%, 97,5 %, 77,5%, dan 96,2%.
