Abstract

Gender is a characteristic difference between women and men that are formed from the culture learned and socialized since childhood. Gender characteristics give rise to the notion that men must be masculine, and women must be feminine.  The existence of stereotypes about gender roles culturally causes someone who has a profession that is opposite to gender to be considered inappropriate. For example, male dancers are considered not masculine because of society's views. This study wants to describe how male dancers maintain their identity as male and masculine by social perception, the type of masculinity of each subject, and the reasons for respondents choosing the profession of being a dancer. The research method used was a qualitative study in the form of interviews and observations of 3 male respondents who work as towing workers.  The theory is used based on Tuncay stating that masculinity can be defined socially as a way to become a man who is defeated into 11 elements. The type of masculinity uses four configurations of masculinity in the masculinity hierarchy and a special learning theory approach in career selection by Krumboltz.  From research results known that all respondents still show their masculinity without being influenced by the profession they choose. For respondents to be attractive is what they like. It can be interpreted that one's prophesied does not always affect one's level of masculinity or femininity. Therefore, in the concept of family education, introduction to the profession does not only contain achievement in education but also includes the socialization of values for the development of both self-concept and personality. The importance of family education in the introduction about gender identities and roles in children is a way not to be affected by the stereotypes of gender roles that apply in society but to see the needs of children in self-development and personality.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the image of the emotional regulation of adolescents who has a single-parent man. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological study approach. The research place is the subject, who resides in Serang city. The data sources of this study are three teenagers who have single parents caused by death. The results showed that the picture of emotional regulation in adolescents with single parents’ men had not been formed perfectly. Because the subject was still unable to cope with the emotional problems he was experiencing, it wasn't easy to control and express his emotions appropriately. The implications of this study illustrate the importance of a close single-parent man in adolescents to have good emotional skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of Satpol PP in controlling street vendors (PKL) on Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani Badak Market, Pandeglang Regency. This research will be conducted using a case study approach, with a descriptive method. This approach will be used to study intensively the background of the Satpol PP performance in controlling street vendors (PKL) on Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani Badak Market, Pandeglang Regency. The results of the research on the performance of Satpol PP in controlling street vendors (PKL) on Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani Badak Market in Pandeglang Regency to discipline and make the street vendors (PKL) comfortable in Pandeglang Regency are considered not optimal. Thus, the performance of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Pandeglang Regency in controlling street vendors (PKL) must be further improved.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the general description of academic procrastination in State Vocational School students in Serang City. The type of research used was a descriptive study with a sampling technique using proportional random sampling with a total sample of 336 students in Serang City, divided into 8 schools. The measurement tool used is the academic procrastination scale which consists of aspects, namely delays in starting or completing the tasks at hand, delays in doing assignments, time gaps between plans and actual performance and carrying out other activities that are more enjoyable, which as a whole consists of 37 statement items . The data analysis technique uses a quantitative descriptive method. The results of the study showed that the level of academic procrastination in students in the high category was 3.1%, medium was 89%, and low was 7.1%. Therefore, the academic procrastination of State Vocational High School students in Serang City is in the moderate category. After analyzing the results of the research and obtaining categorization, the guidance and counseling program design was made based on the needs of the student.

Abstract

In the contemporary millennial era, a pressing concern affecting teenagers in Indonesia pertains to the proliferation of radicalism among students. This study endeavors to explore the pivotal role played by educational institutions, specifically SMP Negeri 3 Serang city, in mitigating the influence of radicalism. It seeks to identify the underlying factors that render students vulnerable to radical ideologies. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research investigates the effectiveness of schools in counteracting radicalism, with a particular focus on citizenship education. The study reveals that teachers impart essential lessons on national unity, emphasizing the importance of fostering a cohesive nation among students. Additionally, the school collaborates with various stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies such as the police, to disseminate information and combat radicalism. Furthermore, this research identifies internal factors, predominantly rooted in family dynamics, and external factors, linked to the students' surrounding environment, as contributors to susceptibility to radicalism among students. It is important to note that this study's scope is limited to a specific secondary school in Serang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure the performance of 12th grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas in the subject of biodiversity and to assess the 12th grade students ability to solve problems through environmentally based learning activities. The research procedure involves using pre-tests and post-tests. The pre-test is used to determine the students initial abilities. The post-test is conducted to assess the students problem solving abilities after learning through Problem Based Learning using Student Discussion Sheets (LKPD). Student performance data, obtained from answering Student Discussion Sheets (LKPD), is analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. Scores obtained from all assessed aspects are then converted to determine the groups assessment criteria. The problem solving abilities of 12th grade students at SMA Negeri Ciruas fall into the "Good" category, and there is an improvement in scores between the pre-test and post-test evaluations.

Abstract

Stress is a common problem among students, especially in academic environments. Academic stress refers to feelings of pressure experienced by pupils or students which are characterized by various physical and emotional reactions due to academic demands from lecturers, teachers, parents, and the need to complete assignments on time. This research aims to produce self-help book learning media on how to overcome academic stress using mindfulness techniques aimed at final year students at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at a university. The research method used is a research and development (R&D) method. The research and development of this self-help book uses ADDIE, which is an extension of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation (analyze, implementation, evaluate, design & development). Evaluation is carried out by media and material expert validators, language experts and practitioner experts. Based on these data, the evaluation results show that the validity of media and material experts is 78.3% (feasible), the validity of language experts is 89.3% (very feasible), and the validity of practitioner experts is 82.7% (decent) and students are 90.3% (very feasible). worthy) means that this self-help book is suitable for use.

Abstract

Secara umum, permasalahan KDRT terkait erat dengan minimnya akses perempuan untuk mengakses sumber daya ekonomi (modal finansial dan aset tetap, misalnya tanah, dan dari pendapatan untuk kesejahteraan lainnya), usia, tingkat pendidikan, keyakinan agama, dan lain-lain. etnis. Melakukan perbuatan fisik diperbolehkan dalam Islam yang dikatakan ta'dib (perbuatan mendidik) terhadap anak. Upaya penanganan yang diberikan kepada korban kekerasan adalah dengan memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling, agar mereka yang menjadi korban dapat memahami masalah dan penyebabnya, dapat mengetahui potensi dan kelebihannya serta dapat menentukan sendiri jalan keluar yang akan ditempuh oleh pihak korban. korban untuk menuntut keadilan dan tanggung jawab dari negara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tentang perempuan korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga dalam kehidupannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Studi kasus hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat tindak kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, terutama yang dialami oleh Perempuan.
