Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of online learning based on problem based learning (PBL) on cognitive learning outcomes in modern sociology theory courses.The research method used is an experiment that involves a one group pretest posttest design. The research population is students of sociology education at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The sample was determined purposively and obtained by 3rd semester students in the modern sociology theory course. The independent variable is PBL-based online learning, while the dependent variable is cognitive learning outcomes. The instrument was tested for construct validity through expert judgment and empirical validation was carried out by testing the instrument on students who had already received material on modern sociological theory. Before being used in experimental research, the data was tested for validity and reliability.The results showed that there was an effect of PBL-based online learning on cognitive learning outcomes, namely through hypothesis testing using a t-test at a significance level of 5%, obtained a t-value of 12.895 in class A and a t-value of 8.547 in class B, with the acquisition of each significance of 0.00 is smaller than 0.05. So, class A used PBL with t count t table (12,8952,048) and class B used PBL with t count t table (8,5472,048). So H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that PBL-based online learning is able to improve cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran nested dan model pembelajaran webbed. Penelitian eksperimen menggunakan  desain Randomized Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan multistage random sampling. Validasi instrumen dilakukan dengan validasi logis (expert judgement) dan validasi empiris melalui ujicoba untuk mengukur daya pembeda soal dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: rata-rata hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model nested dan dengan menggunakan model webbed dengan nilai t sebesar  0,314 0,05, artinya  tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Dengan demikian hasil belajar dengan model nested maupun model webbed tidak berbeda secara signifikan.Kata Kunci : Pengaruh, Model Nested, Model Webbed

Abstract

The research was conducted to explain how the impacts of the existence of Covid-19, especially in the education sector, describe the problems and obstacles experienced by students during online learning, assess the adaptation of students in taking online learning and the implications of the industrial revolution 4.0 on the use of digital technology as an alternative solution. In learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, the research method used was qualitative where the sample in this study were high school students in the Sobang sub-district. Data collection was carried out by compiling various sources in the form of mass media, observation and supported by interview result. Processed and analyzed then presented in the form of narrative sentences. The results of this study indicate that the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has caused rapid social change in education which requires students to adapt to the learning process an online. The students adaptations include learning and understanding what is meant by independent online learning by relying on Youtube and Google. And the result are now students are starting to become proficient in using technology and various online media to support learning thanks to the adaptations made. Because the implementation of online learning encourages students to strive to improve their competence in terms of mastery of technology in the digital era 4.0 to support learning during a pandemic.

Abstract

Abstrak       Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan eksperimen murni sebagai metode penelitian dengan desain posttest only control group design. Sebelum melakukan penelitian peneliti mempersiapkan instrument tes terlebih dahulu, dimana instrument tes ini diberikan kepada kelas yang lebih tinggi, setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Setelah tes dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Setelah data dinyatakan normal dan homogen, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t.       Dari hasil hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai t hitung < t tabel, yaitu sebesar 0.000 <0.05, hal ini sesuai dengan pengambilan keputusan dalam uji-t, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak, Ha diterima dan berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar sosiologi siswa pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, dengan perolehan F-hitung 19.312 > F-tabel 3.98.  Kata Kunci : Cooperative Learning, Jigsaw, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

ABSTRAK       Globalisasi menjadi hal yang sudah pasti tidak bisa setiap orang hindari. Kemajuannya begitu cepat terutama dalam segi majunya perkembangan tekonologi. Setiap individu, harus memiliki kemampuan untuk mempersiapkan diri terutama dalam menghadapi pengaruh negatif dari globalisasi. Ketika globalisasi bisa di manfaatkan dengan baik dan bijaksana, maka hal ini akan membawa kemajuan yang positif, terutama dalam bidang pendidikan.      Kemajuan dalam bidang teknologi, menuntut keterampilan yang tinggi bagi pendidik khususnya, terutama dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pada saat proses pembelajaran.      Pendidikan IPS mampu mengembangkan kemampuan sosial di lingkungan masyarakat, terutama di tengah-tengah arus globalisasi yang semakin meningkat. Pendidikan IPS juga membekali kemampuan peserta didik untuk bisa memecahkan berbagai macam permasalahan sosial baik dalam lingkungannya maupun yang terkait dengan isu-isu global.  Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, IPS, Globalisasi

Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang  menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D). Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mengetahui efektifivitas  bahan ajar berbasis Web pada Mata Kuliah Pembangunan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat. Bahan Ajar Berbasis Web sebelum digunakan, telah melalui tahapan validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Setelah di validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, kemudian bahan ajar berbasis web di uji cobakan pada mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Sosiologi Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, tahapan uji coba meliputi ujicoba terbatas dan ujcoba secara luas.Uji Keefektifan Bahan Ajar menggunakan t test (Uji- t) pada taraf signifikansi 5% , diperoleh  thitung sebesar 42,566 dan ttabel sebesar 2,064. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa thitung> ttabel .Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis web terbukti efektif pada mata kuliah pembangunan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat.Kata Kunci: pembangunan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, sosiologi pembangunan, pembelajaran berbasis web. AbstractThis article was the result of research using the Research and Development (R & D) method. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of Web-based teaching materials in the Development and Community Empowerment Course. Web Based Learning Materials before being used, have gone through the stages of validation carried out by media experts and material experts. After being validated by media experts and material experts, then Web-based teaching materials were tested on students of the Department of Sociology Education at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, the stages of the trial included limited trials and extensive trials.Teaching Materials Effectiveness Test using t test (t-test) at the significance level of 5%, obtained tcount of 42.566 and t table of 2.064 This indicates that tcount> t table.Conclution of this study is that Web-Based Teaching Materials proved effective in development and community empowerment courses.Keywords: development and community empowerment, sociology of development, web-based learning

Abstract

The aim to be accomplished in writing this article is 1). To find out how audio-visual learning media is practiced in Sociology subjects based on behavioristic theories of behaviorists, 2). To know how learners' behavior changes make use of the learning media during the learning process in the classroom. 3). To see if learners are becoming more interested in Sociology materials or otherwise. The study uses qualitative descriptive research methods and observations with a class action research model and interviews in-depth learners to supplement the study data needs. The subject of this study is a 10-grade learner of the social science program at SMAN 2 Serang city. The result of this study was that learners who learned by using the audio-visual medium tended to change their behavior better in processing the Sociology subject taught by the teacher in the class. To demonstrate such conduct requires repetition in utilizing the medium of study in Sociology subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of smartphone use on students' learning motivation in Kp. Pasirsalam. Lebak Regency, Banten Province. Researchers used a quantitative approach with the population in this study, namely students who live in Kampung Pasirsalam and are still studying at the high school level, totaling 21 people. The sample used in this study is all the population with a total of 21 students, because it uses a saturated sampling technique as the sample. Collecting data using a questionnaire or questionnaire distributed to students who are still studying at the high school level in Kp. Pasirsalam, using simple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing are obtained as follows: 1) There is a significant effect between smartphone use and learning motivation. This is evidenced by the value of sig. = 0.002 < 0.05 and F count = 7.692

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the role of parents in assisting student learning at SDN Cimanuk 3. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The participants of this study were the parents of 2rd grade students of SDN Cimanuk 3 as many as 3 parents and guardians of students. This study uses data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the role of parents has a very important role in the process of assisting children's learning, such as providing correct direction to children, support, and providing solutions to children's problems during learning, besides the attention and affection of parents can make encouragement in learning. motivate children's learning. If the child is able to feel the attention and affection of his parents, then the child will feel more comfortable and will be obedient to his parents and will give good things in the learning process and improve children's learning achievement.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to explain the pedagogic competence of teachers. 2) student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. 3) to explain the impact of the role of teacher pedagogic competence in improving student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is a case study. The subjects in this study were students, homeroom teachers, school principals. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, 1) the pedagogic competence of the social studies teacher at SMPN 3 Pandeglang is good because the social studies teacher is professionally certified. 2) student learning outcomes of SMPN 3 Pandeglang IPS have developed since the teacher applied pedagogic competence to the learning process. 3) Thus it can be seen that pedagogic competence has a very important role in teaching and learning activities, namely making it easier for teachers to convey material to students and teachers can apply various learning strategies so as to create fun teaching and learning activities.
