Abstract

Setiap orang menghendaki agar hidupnya tentram, itulah sebabnya setiap individu selalu berjuang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya baik jasmani maupun rohani. Bekerja, merupakan jawaban atas permasalahan yang timbul dalam konteks pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup manusia tersebut. Namun seringkali dihadapkan dengan permasalahan lain yakni kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan pencari kerja, sikap, mental, terbatasnya lapangan kerja, dan tidak relevannya pengetahuan pencari kerja dengan lapangan kerja yang ada. Tidak seimbangnya jumlah  lapangan kerja dengan jumlah pencari kerja, sehingga menimbulkan pengangguran. Masalah  pengangguran merupakan salah satu indicator keberhasilan pembangunan. Untuk mengatasi masalah pengangguran tersebut dibutuhkan suatu upaya yang strategis yakni melalui pendidikan kecakapan hidup (Life Skills).       Pemuda sebagai salah satu modal dasar pembangunan perlu dibina dan dihimpun agar para pemuda benar-benar mampu mengambil peran aktif dalam pembangunan. Menurut Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) pemuda adalah penduduk yang berusia antara 15 – 35 tahun. Secara faktual sasaran program pendidikan non formal  tahun 2004 adalah penduduk usia 10 tahun ke atas yang buta aksara ada 18,7 juta orang,  angka drop out sekolah dasar kelas 1-3 tiap tahun berjumlah 200-300 ribu siswa, angka penganggur  berjumlah 49.611.779 orang. Sementara itu, saat ini  terdapat 38,4 juta penduduk miskin (Biro Pusat Statistik, 2004).Berkenaan dengan masalah itu,  Departemen Pendidikan Nasional melaksanakan kebijakan pendidikan kecakapan hidup melalui pendekatan pendidikan berbasis luas (broad based education). Program pendidikan Kecakapan Hidup  (Life Skills) pada dasarnya adalah kegiatan pembelajaran untuk menghasilkan dan memproduksi barang atau jasa.  Untuk mencapai kondisi tersebut diperlukan suatu proses manajemen pembelajaran yang efektif. Manajemen pembelajaran yang dimaksudkan disini yaitu suatu rangkaian kegiatan merencanakan, mengorganisir, melaksanakan, membina, mengawasi, mengevaluasi dan melaporkan berbagai kegiatan berkenaan dengan suatu program pembelajaran agar tujuan yang diharapkan  tercapai. KataKunci :  Program Kepemudaan, Life Skills, Pendidikan Non Formal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh persoalan dampak pandemic covid 19 yang mengakibatkan banyaknya masyarakat yang mengganggur, kebutuhan rumah tangga semakin tinggi tetapi pemasukan/penghasilan keluarga yang sedikit, banyaknya bahan baku beras ketan, kelapa, daun pisang sekitar Kecamatan Ujungberung untuk membuat ulen gulung, serta pemasaran dagangan pada jaman sekarang yang semakin canggih serba digital. Kondisi tersebut dipandang sebagai peluang dan tantangan dalam pemanfaatan potensi wilayah. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: a). Memperoleh informasi tentang pengembangan kewirausahaan ulen gulung berbasis muatan lokal melalui penguatan literasi digital di PKBM Bina Cipta Ujungberung Kota Bandung; b). Untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan kewirausahaan ulen gulung berbasis muatan lokal melalui penguatan literasi digital di PKBM Bina Cipta Ujungberung Kota Bandung; c). Untuk mengetahui hasil dari pengembangan kewirausahaan ulen gulung berbasis muatan lokal melalui penguatan literasi digital di PKBM Bina Cipta Ujungberung Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan Purposive Sampling sebagai teknik penentuan sampel, serta alat penelitian yang digunakan berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, dan Threats sebagai berikut: 1) Strength (Kekuatan): mendapatkan dukungan dari keluarga untuk mendirikan PKBM Bina Cipta Ujungberung, mendapatkan dukungan dari masyarakat dan pemerintah, beras ketan menjadi hasil sumber daya alam yang melimpah di sekitar Kecamatan Ujungberung yang bisa dijadikan Usaha Ulen Gulung yang bisa diterima oleh konsumen; 2) Weaknesses (Kelemahan): harga beras ketan dan bahan ulen gulung lainnya kadang-kadang yang mahal, tidak sesuai dengan harga penjualan produk ulen gulung, kurang luas pemasaran sehingga banyak masyarakat yang belum tahu produk ini; 3) Opportunities (Peluang): bisa dijadikan peluang usaha mata pencaharian masyarakat untuk meningkatkan perekonomian, dan bisa dijadikan oleh-oleh khas daerah Ujungberung Kota Bandung; 4) Threats (Ancaman): sulitnya mendapatkan bahan baku ulen gulung dikarenakan harga bahan mentahnya yang sudah mahal sehingga sulit untuk memberikan harga, tidak tahan lama nya ulen gulung ini sehingga setiap ada pemesanan barulah dibuatkan produknya, tidak bisa disimpan terlalu lama, dan banyaknya pesaing dari luar daerah dengan jenis produk yang sama yaitu produk berbahan dasar beras ketan ini.Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan, Literasi Digital

Abstract

Non-formal education units broadly known by the public are the Community Learning Center (CLC) and Courses and Training Institution (CTI) which have so far been able to improve the quality of education for the community. This study focuses on the description of the capacity mapping management of non-formal education units in improving the quality of education services. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects are managers, educators, and students in non-formal education units in Bandung. Data collection techniques used are documentation study, interviews, and focused discussion. This research results in several points, that: (1) description of management of CLC and CTI in Bandung is still not optimal, (2) the map of the quality standards of CLC and CTI in Bandung have not reached the eight National Education Standars yet, (3) expectations of CLC and CTI management are collected and formulated as a conceptual model for the performance of CLC and CTI managers in Bandung.

Abstract

This research focused on analyzing the implementation of a service model used in a community learning center (CLC). The results of the study are (1) a conceptual model consisting of rationalization, assumptions, goals, components, indicators, and procedures, (2) a model validated through peer group discussion and expert judgment, and (3) a model implemented in universities. The learning model developed consists of planning, organizing, implementing, and assessing processes. Based on the results, it is concluded that the developed model shows an effective result based on some indicators. The first indicator is the community active involvement and positive responses to the learning process. Then, there is an improvement in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of the community

Abstract

Evaluation of training program is made to establish the achievement of program objectives and to provide recommendations for program improvements. In this article, use of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation model in training programs is discussed. It is an evaluation research, with a descriptive quantitative approach involving 16 training program participants as research subjects. The data collection techniques were based on questionnaires as the main instrument, with interview guides and observation guidelines as supporting instruments. The data analysis was made by comparing the scores obtained with the ideal score and multiplying by 100%; the results of these calculations were then grouped into a number of criteria that had been established. The results of the study indicate that the context dimension consisting of training objectives, training needs assessment, and state agency program organizers obtained a PE (Percentage of Effectiveness) score of 75.04%, placing it in the "fair" criterion. In the input dimension, consisting of participant description , instructor condition, infrastructure, training curriculum and instructional media, the PE score was 79.44% again in the "fair" criterion. In the process dimension, comprising lecture method, discussion method, demonstration method, question and answer method, practice method, field visiting method and evaluation of learning outcomes, the PE score obtained was 78.75%, which was also in the "fair" criterion. Finally, in the product dimension of knowledge aspect, attitude aspect and skill aspect, the PE score was 82.29%, in the “good" criterion. Based on the results of the dimension evaluation, the total PE score obtained was 78.88%, or overall in the "fair" criterion. It can be concluded that in general the execution of this training program was successful, so it is recommended that similar programs be conducted again, with some improvements.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are (a) to describe service conceptual model of Community Learning Center (CLC), (b) to validate the service conceptual model of CLC, and (c) to analyze the implementation of the service conceptual model of CLC. The research employed qualitative approach and descriptive method. The data were collected by using document study, literature review, interview, and Focus Group Discussion as from April through September 2015. The subjects of the study included administrators, tutors, and CLC participants in Bandung Raya area. The research resulted in (a) the developed conceptual model consisting of rationalization, assumption, objectives, components, indicators, and procedure model; (b) the model validation used peer group and expert judgement techniques; and model implementation described in instructional activities in CLC. Instructional steps as the model components are planning process, organizing, implementation, and evaluation in instruction. The conclusion of the developed model indicates effective results with the indicators: (a) the active participation and respond of the community for instructional activities and (b) the learning achievement of the community shows the improvement in knowledge, attitude, and skills.

Abstract

Many studies have suggested the relationship between innovation and lifelong learning that are interrelated. However, it is still difficult to find research that takes the viewpoint of innovation as an implication of a lifelong learning process which cultivates literacy. By collecting conceptual literatures on innovation and lifelong learning, this article aims to provide a perspective view of the concept of lifelong learning in innovation. This article also contributes to encourage adults to have the mindset to always learn without being limited by space and time in creating innovation so as to avoid being illiterate again. The findings of this article suggest the idea that innovation can create learning processes. Even in the learning process, it can have implications for innovation. In the future research requires a significant amount of time to examine various perspectives and conceptual issues related to innovation seen in the perspective of lifelong learning.

Abstract

This research was concerned about the development of religious awareness based on adult education for corruption inmates in Pesantren Al - Hidayah. The main objective is to describe development of religious awareness process-based adult education for corruption inmates in Pesantren Al – Hidayah. The literature review of the research comprised: religious awareness, adult education, penitentiary. This research was conducted through descriptive research and case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used through observation, interview and documentation. Subjects in this research was a spiritual adviser, Corruption inmates and tutors. The research showed that the religious awareness was applied through a participatory, fair and equitable, transparent, learning need; Multi way communication, a variety of learning methods, pragmatic, problem-based in awareness and inoculation of belief, habituation, practice and reinforcement process; spiritual adviser role as a facilitative leader. Abstract

This research departs from the performance of Playgroup tutors which can be used to assess the achievement of the tutor's work in planning and implementing the learning process, as well as assessing the learning outcomes in Playgroup units. The research was conducted at the As-Salam Kp. Nagrogjaya, Pagaden District, Subang Regency. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the leadership function of the As-Salam Playgroup manager in improving tutor performance; (2) describe the tutor's performance achievements in increasing competence. The research method was used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The number of informants was 8 people. Based on the findings and discussion, this study obtained the results (1) the manager of the As-Salam Playgroup can actualize the functions of educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, leaders, innovators, and motivators as a form of leadership contribution in improving tutor performance; (2) the performance of the tutor is well perceived by the manager of the As-Salam Playgroup, measured by the quality of work, timeliness of work, work initiative, work ability, and communication at work.

Abstract

Abstrak: Saat ini kewirausahaan sosial menjadi fenomena menarik dikarenakan berorientasi pada pencapaian tujuan sosial dan tidak mengutamakan perolehan laba serta dapat dijadikan sebagai pendekatan dalam pemberdayaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan kajian tentang proses pemberdayaan keluarga melalui program kewirausahaan sosial berbasis lingkungan yang dilakukan oleh salah satu lembaga nonformal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah program kewirausahaan sosial dapat dijadikan sebagai pendekatan dalam proses pemberdayaan masyarakat. Proses pemberdayaan masyarakat dapat dimulai dari lapisan masyarakat yang utama yaitu keluarga. Kemudian, pengelolaan program pemberdayaan keluarga dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan tujuh komponen sistem. Program kewirausahaan sosial merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah sosial yaitu kerusakan lingkungan yang dapat dijadikan sebagai gerakan aksi sosial dan pemberdayaan keluarga. Family Empowerment through Environmental-Based Social EntrepreneurshipAbstract: Currently, social entrepreneurship is an interesting phenomenon because it is oriented towards achieving social goals and does not prioritize profit gains, and can be used as an approach to empowerment. The purpose of this research is to provide a study on the process of family empowerment through an environmental-based social entrepreneurship program conducted by a non-formal institution. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The result of this research is that social entrepreneurship programs can be used as an approach in the community empowerment process. The process of community empowerment can be started from the main strata of society, namely the family. Then, the management of the family empowerment program can be done with a seven component system approach. The social entrepreneurship program is an alternative to overcome social problems, namely environmental damage that can be used as a social action movement and family empowerment.
