Abstract

The purpose of this study is: 1) to find out and describe the structure of the news contained in the delivery of news on the night radar program, and 2) to find out and describe the linguistic characteristics in the delivery of news on the night radar program. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are scripts and videos of the news event of Radar Malam Edition 5 October 2021. The data collection techniques used in this research are; documentation, observation and interview techniques. The results showed that the structure of the news contained in the Radar Malam program was complete and in accordance with predetermined indicators. The linguistic characteristics used in the news are in accordance with the linguistic characteristics of the news contained in the indicators to be analyzed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of word choice, cohesion and coherence as well as the grammatical elements that appear in the mobile operator's advertising discourse (Kartu As vs XL) and contextual meaning contained in the choice of Indonesian language ad words in mobile operator ads (Kartu As vs XL). Based on the analysis that has been done that the form of word choice, cohesion and coherence as well as the grammatical elements that appear in the discourse of advertisement of cellular operator (Kartu As vs XL) is including non-standard. Contextual meaning contained in the word choice discourse Indonesian language ads in the ad mobile carriers (Kartu As vs XL). Language expressed in the slogan service provider or choice of words used by the mobile operator service providers have meaning to be conveyed reflect the character of each enterprise mobile operator services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the religious elements of the main character contained in the novel Gadis Pantai by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, as well as the social life of the community in the novel Gadis Pantai. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the main character, namely Pantai Girl, was described as someone who came from ordinary people who never worshiped so that they belonged to the abangan Islamic group, while the Bendoro figure was a priyayi santri figure with all his devotion to the religion he believed in, but behind his obedience Bendoro was a figure priyayi santri who likes to talk to their wives, are evil and rude. The social life of the community in Pramoedya Ananta toer's novel Gadis Pantai, the figure of bendoro represents the priyayi (aristocratic) group, while Gadis Pantai represents the common people. The difference between these groups has given an exact picture of the gap between the priyayi and the common people.

Abstract

This research on gender injustice in the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF examines gender injustice against women in the novel. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain an overview of gender injustice against women in the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF through a feminist approach. The forms of gender inequality are: 1) Marginalization of women, 2) Subordination of women, 3) Stereotypes against women, 4) Violence against women. This research is expected to help increase the treasury of studies on literature, especially on the issue of gender inequality in literary works in Indonesia. This study uses a literary approach based on gender inequality by using a feminist approach. The object of this research is the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method that involves the researcher directly in the entire process, the research starts from problem determination, literature review, data collection and processing, analysis and interpretation processes to the conclusion of the study. The results show a picture of gender injustice experienced by female characters by the husbands of female characters in the novel Layangan Putus, in this study there are four forms of gender injustice against women, namely marginalization of women, subordination of women, stereotypes against women and violence against women. and the most experienced gender injustice in the novel Layangan Putus is the subordination of women.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product of teaching materials in the form of LKPD, namely the Development of LKPD Writing Poetry with a Stylistic Approach. This study uses research and development methods by adapting the Jolly and Bolitho development model. For the feasibility of teaching materials, expert validation and limited field tests were carried out. Validation was carried out on the feasibility of presentation, material, and linguistics of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. The data in the limited field test were obtained through a written test, namely a multiple choice test and a poetry writing test. Subjects in this field test consisted of 30 students of class X SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. The test results to identify elements of the form of poetry showed an increase from the average value of 55.00 to 81.50 (difference 26.50). The results of the poetry writing test also showed an increase from the average score of 64.60 to 80.90 (difference 16.30). Thus, the LKPD developed by researchers is suitable for use for class X SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan secara mendalam peristiwa penyerahan kedaulatan Indonesia pada masa perang kemerdekaan. Fakta- fakta dihimpun dari novel-novel yang bercirikan sejarah pada masa itu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi dengan teori New Historicism. Objek kajian adalah novel-novel Indonesia yang berlatar perang kemerdekaan, yaitu Burung-burung Manyar karya Y.B. Mangunwijaya,Larasati karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer, dan Cantik Itu Luka karya Eka Kurniawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peristiwa yang melingkupi penyerahan kedaulatan Indonesia adalah Agresi Militer II yang dipusatkan di Yogyakarta, perundingan yang diinisiasi oleh Dewan Keamanan PBB serta Konferensi Meja Bundar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the unavailability of powerpoint-based audio-visual media in Indonesian subject. Learning media teaching materials are used only by using media teaching materials in the form of blackboards, so that in teaching and learning activities in class it is still not enough to make students enthusiastic in writing. Teaching materialls Audio Visual media is important because it maked it easier for educators to carry out learningm for students to study independently and in groups and carry out a given task. This Powerpoint-based audio visual media will help students learn to be fun, as well as very effective and accurate to increase student interest in learning. Based on the research results obtained material validation is 82% with the criteria “Very Eligible”. The media validation results are 90% with the criteria of “Very Eligible”. The small group trial resulted in an average value of 95% with the criteria of “Very Good”. Field trials obtained an average value of 95% with the criteria of “Verry Good”. The results of students responses to the media obtained an average result of 97% with the criteria of “Very Good”. Powerpoint-based audio visual media products to foster interest in iniial writing can be used as teaching materials for additional learning media by educators in a more effective and veried learning prosess, and can be distributed to grade 1 students.

Abstract

We often encounter in learning Indonesian, especially listening skills, which are often considered boring by students. This happened due to several factors, namely factors originating from students which included a lack of student interest in listening. Meanwhile, other factors come from learning media which are still monotonous and also have an impact on student learning outcomes. In the interview that the writer conducted with the 2nd grade teacher at SD Negeri 1 Parerejo, the writer found that the student learning outcomes were still low with an average score of 64.07 with 15 students who achieved mastery learning with a mastery percentage of 55.56% of the the total number of students totaling 27 students. Thus, the success of listening to students at SD Negeri 1 Parerejo can be said to be still low because there are still many students who have not achieved mastery in learning. There are 12 students who have not achieved listening comprehension mastery with a percentage of 44.44%. Thus, there is a need for improvement to improve students' listening results at SD Negeri 1 Parerejo by implementing learning using aids in the form of learning media.

Abstract

Pasang surutnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar, tutunan tenaga pengajar untuk selalu berkreativitas dalam pembelajaran disetiap pertemuan, serta metode yaang menyenangkan membuat tim melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di TK Kartini II Bandar Lampung. Solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan pemberian metode pembelajaran BCM (Bermain, Cerita, Menyayi) yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik masih anak-anak, dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi siswa untuk belajar. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta pemahaman tentang cara meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui metode BCM (Bermain,Cerita, Menyanyi) di TK Kartini II Bandar Lampung. Implikasi dari metode BCM yaitu dengan belajar sembari bermain puzze berbentuk huruf, angka, atau warna. Selanjutnya, siswa akan menceritakan puzzel berbentuk huruf, angka, atau warna yang siswa pilih. Kegiatan menyanyi dapat dilakukan ditengah kegiatan belajar, bisa dengan nada pelangi, bincang kecil dan lain-lain dengan gubahan syair lagu. Dari hasil penerapan metode BCM diperoleh hasil keaktifan, antusias, dan semangat saat belajar. Sedangkan dari hasil evaluasi pengetahuan, diperoleh evaluasi keberhasilan kegiatan ini dilakukan setelah kegiatan selesai. Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dari respon positif peserta berdasarkan sikap peserta saat mengikuti pelatihan. Keberhasilan tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil kuesioner yang telah diberikan kepada peserta sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the language politeness in the novel "Beauty and The Best" by Luna Torashyngu". The research method uses descriptive qualitative with content analysis. The data source of this research is taken from "Beauty and The Best" novel by Luna Torashyngu. The results show six variations of language politeness in this novel. There are six maxims in this novel: the maxim of humility, the maxim of sympathy, the maxim of agreement, the maxim of praise, the maxim of generosity, and the maxim of wisdom. The conversation in the maxim of wisdom shows the attitude of wise figures in making speeches with their interlocutors from the maxims of politeness in language. Meanwhile, the speech shows politeness in the language in the maxim of generosity. Speakers in carrying out conversations can still uphold their generosity attitudes so that a conducive speech situation can still be created. In the maxim of praise, the conversations that are carried out also show perspectives of praising through their speech and in the maxim of agreement. On the contrary, speakers commit many violations, especially characters who act as antagonists. Likewise, there are also many deviations from the maxim of agreement, even though some show an utterance that creates an agreement between the speaker and the interlocutor.
