Abstract

Berdasarkan Riskesdas 2013 menunjukkan, secara nasional, prevalensi berat-kurang pada tahun 2013 adalah 19,6% dimana 5,7% gizi buruk dan 13,9% gizi kurang. Data di Sulawesi Utara untuk 2013 menunjukkan prevalensi status gizi BB/TB<-2SD tahun 2013 adalah 10%. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan mengadakan survei. Tujuan Untuk mengetahui gambaran status gizi anak Balita di PPA (Pusat Pengembangan Anak) ID-127 di Kelurahan Ranomuut Manado dan pengetahuan orang tua anak Balita di PPA ID – 127 di Kelurahan Ranomuut, Manado. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh anak Balita yang berada di PPA (Pusat Pengembangan Anak) ID-127 Kelurahan Ranomuut dengan total populasi 62 orang anak. Sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Gambaran status Gizi anak Balita di PPA ID – 127 Kelurahan Ranomuut Manado, 93,5% adalah berada pada batas normal dan pengetahuan orang tua tentang gizi di di PPA ID – 127 Kelurahan Ranomuut Manado sebagian besar dalam keadaan baik.   Kata Kunci: Status Gizi, PPA, Balita

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus and hypertension are interrelated diseases that affect an individual becomes atherosclerotic disease. The prevalence of hypertension and diabetes increased in industrialized countries because of the aging population. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of diabetes mellitus and hypertension in Manado City Community Health Center. This study uses a descriptive study with cross sectional (cross-sectional) with secondary data taken in patients in three community health centers in Manado (Sario, Karombasan and Teling). Results showed the prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients mostly at age> 60 years were 71 patients and more men - men with a number of 17 people (59%). For Hypertension with female sex more amounted to 545 people (58%) and in the age group> 60 years.

Abstract

Sampai saat ini tuberkulosis (TB) paru masih merupakan masalah kesehatan di seluruh dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Upaya –upaya dalam mengeliminasi  kasus tuberkulosis paru di Indonesia masih mengalami banyak kendala. Faktor lingkungan sangat mempengaruhi tingginya prevalensi tuberkulosis paru. Dari 33 propinsi di Indonesia prevalensi tuberkulosis paru tertinggi berasal dari 3 propinsi yaitu DKI Jakarta, Banten, dan Sulawesi Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan  antara kontak serumah dan faktor lingkungan fisik rumah dengan kejadian tuberkulosis paru di wilayah kerja puskesmas Wori. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian  cross sectional dengan variabel bebas yang diteliti ialah kontak serumah, luas ventilasi, dan suhu ruangan. Analisis dengan mengunakan uji chi square menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan kontak serumah dengan kejadian tuberkulosis paru dengan nilai p=0,016, sedangkan variabel luas ventilasi p=0,278 dan suhu ruangan  p=0,677 menunjukan tidak ada hubungan dengan kejadian tuberkulosis paru di desa Wori.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis paru merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh basil Mycobaterium tuberculosis. Penularan penyakit berlangsung  diudara dari individu yang sehat dengan paparan udara yang telah terkontaminasi oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Dalam perkembangan diagnostik serta terapi tuberkulosis paru timbul masalah baru yaitu Resistensi Obat Anti Tuberkulosis (Multi-Drugs Resistent Tuberculosis).. Data dari poli MDR-TB RSUP Prof. R.D. Kandou, Manado tahun 2014 terdapat 8 penderita tuberkulosis paru dengan resistensi obat. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor risiko penderita MDR-TB di Kota Manado tahun 2014. Metode Penelitian: penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Data penelitian berjumlah 8 orang didapatkan dari data sekunder Poli MDR-TB RSUP Prof R.D. Kandou. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan data primer berupa kuesioner dan data sekunder. Dari data sekunder pada periode bulan april-desember 2014 terdapat 8 penderita MDR-TB yang tersebar di 4 kecamatan Kota Manado. Hasil: Disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi perlu dilakukan diberbagai aspek namun hasil penelitian menekankan pada petugas kesehatan harus memiliki unsur edukatif, informatif dan komunikatif dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan. Pasien harus diberikan pemahaman yang jelas serta dorongan dari petugas kesehatan untuk menumbuhkan motivasi untuk berobat teratur.Kata Kunci : Tuberkulosis paru, Faktor risiko, MDR-TB

Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) merupakan virus yang menyebabkan penyakit Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) yaitu infeksi yang terjadi karena rusaknya sistem kekebalan tubuh.Persentase faktor risiko AIDS tertinggi adalah karena seks bebas.Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bitung Sulawesi Utara menyatakan jumlah Wanita Tuna Susila (WTS) yang terdaftar di Kota Bitung terbanyak di satu tempat lokalisasi pada tahun 2015 berjumlah 75 orang.Sehubungan dengan itu, jumlah kasus HIV/AIDS di Kota Bitung dari waktu ke waktu terus mengalami peningkatan. Pada tahun 2013 terdapat 281 kasus HIV/AIDS, tahun 2014 terdapat 316 kasus, dan pada tahun 2015 terdapat 367 kasus.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran pengetahuan dan tindakan seks bebas pada wanita tuna susila terhadap penularan HIV/AIDS.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi potong lintang (cross sectional) dimana variabel-variabel yang diteliti diukur dalam waktu yang bersamaan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden berpengetahuan baik sebanyak 48 responden (64%) dari total 75 responden.Responden turut berperan dalam pencegahan HIV/AIDS, terlihat dari 64 responden (36%) yang menggunakan kondom. Abstract

Leprosy is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae. Based on data from the Ministry of Health new cases of leprosy in Indonesia in 2013 and 2014. there were 16.856 and 16.131 new cases respectively. North Sulawesi ranks sixth among the provinces with the numbers highest Case Detection Rate (CDR) per 100,000 population in Indonesia , which is 14.65 per 100,000 population. Registered patients in the city of Manado in 2013 and 2014 there were 67 and 69 people respectively. Leprosy disability level 2 in the city of Manado is quite high, reaching 10.6%. Disability due to leprosy can be prevented. Leprosy patient behavior plays an important role in the prevention of disability due to the disease itself. This study aimed to describe the behavior of leprosy patients in the prevention of disability due to leprosy. This study is a qualitative descriptive study with cross sectional study design. Data collected by in-depth interview techniques and triangulation with samples of 9 people with leprosy patients using purposive sampling. The results showed that the majority of informants knowledge about leprosy in general still lacking, but knowledge in the prevention of disability through regular treatment is sufficient. The attitude of the informants was good and optimistic with the treatment, showed a positive attitude. Most of the actions of the informants in the prevention of disability as a regular treatment has been good, although still need to be optimized. The behavior of the informants was good overall, but knowledge about leprosy in general needs to be improved further. Patients are advised to more actively seek information about the disease and prevention of disability, as well as the necessity for improved education and health promotion concerning leprosy by the health workers.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease with characteristic hyperglycemia. Indonesia is in the 7th place of the most DM patients in the world (7,4 million patients) in 2012. Pulmonary tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease caused by the infectious mycobacterium tuberculosis. Indonesia has the 5th most cases in the world (520.000 cases) in 2013. Posbindu as a heath program that is close to the community for prevention and detection of disease. This study aims to describe the knowledge and attitude of posbindu cadres about diabetes mellitus and pulmonary tuberculosis in Manado city. This study is a research using cross sectional descriptive. The population in this study was 28 posbindu in Manado city, which each posbindu has 5 members. The samples were choosen with purposive sampling method. The sample is 30 Posbindu members. The result of this study was taking using questionnaire. This study is doing on November 2105-January 2016. The result showed that all cadres get score above the standard in knowledge and attitude about diabetes mellitus and pulmonary tuberculosis in Manado city. Both well knowledge and attitude are the results of routine socialization by doctors and health workers to the cadres.

Abstract

Background: According to the World Malaria Report (2015) by the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of malaria cases in the world declined from 262 million in 2000 (range : 205-316 million) , to 214 million in 2015 (range : 149-303 million) a decrease of 18% . Most cases in 2015 is estimated to occur in the WHO African Region (88%), followed by the South-East Asia Region (10%) and the Eastern Mediterranean Region (2%). The incidence of malaria , which also takes into account population growth, estimated to have declined 37% in the period 2000-2015. Altogether 57 of the 106 countries that previously had a transmission running in 2000 has been able to reduce malaria incidence >75%. More far 18 countries have been estimated to reduce the incidence of malaria by 50-75%. Manado city recorded a number of suspected malaria in 2014 amounted to 1,361 and from 780 people blood sample examined 107 people were found positive as the result. According to available data, the Tikala District always be at the top of the donation morbidity of malaria. This research aim to find whether there is a relationship between community preventive measures with malaria incidence. Methods: The research design used in this study is ananalytic, using cross-sectional study. The data analysis was done manually and by computer for chi-square test. Result and Conclusion: The results of data processing usingchi-square test showed that there was no significant correlation between the incidence of malaria and society precautions p= 0,37(p>0.05). This result suggested that education about malaria and its preventive measures by health center could be improved, as well as the thorough treatment against Plasmodium parasite that infected patients.

Abstract

Sexually transmitted disease is an infection caused by bacteria, virus, parasite or fungi, that transmitted by sexual intercourse. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there are 6231 Chlamydia trachomatis and Syphilis infected women from 100.000 women in United States. Prevalence of sexually transmited disease in Indonesia was 5608 cases in 2014. The Public Health Department of the City of Bitung reported 959 infected women and 498 infected men, which means more infected women than men. The number of cases increased in 2010-2013 where 1198 were infected and increased to 1429 cases in 2014. The objective of the study was to find out the correlation of sexual transmitted disease knowledge level with healthy intercourse attitude in female prostitute in Bitung city. This study was an analytic descriptive study with cross-sectional method. Population in the study was all female prostitutes in Bitung city. Samples in the study were 75 people as respondents. Data was obtained with a questionnaire and analyzed with chi-square. The result shows that there is a correlation of sexual transmitted disease knowledge level with healthy intercourse behavior, p=0.004 (p<0.01).

Abstract

Domestic violence is one of the many female health problems occur in the Indonesia domestic violence according to the legislation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 2014 is every one's deeds are mainly women, which resulted in the incidence of misery or suffering physical, sexual, psychological, and or deprivation of liberty unlawfully within the household.. The number of cases of domestic violence recorded by the 2015 National Commission on Anti violence against women the National Commission of women mention that as much as 11,207 case in the realm of domestic violence, 60% or 6,725 case in the form of violence against the wife of 24% or 2,734 cases of violence in dating, and 8% or 930 cases of violence against girls. Physical abuse was ranked first with 38% percentage or 4,304 cases, followed by sexual violence 30% or 3,325 cases, violent psychic 23% or 2,607, and economy 9% or 971 cases. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the overview of the knowledge and attitude of high school students in Kakas 1 about domestic violence. This research is descriptive research design. Sources respondents taken from all students in 1st High School Kakas, Minahasa.Keywords: student's knowledge, student's attitude, domestic violence
