Abstract

Dengan membanjirnya produk dari RRC maka kemungkinan melemahnya atau terjadinya perubahan-perubahan pada pelaku UKM Indionesia merupakan keniscayaan. Sampai dengan hari ini ada 12 jenis kategori produk yang akan dan mungkin dipertimbangkan akan dinegosiasikan dengan pemerintah RRC yang jumlahnya meliputi 228 produk. Adapun produk tersebut adalah meliputi kategori : Besi dan baja; tekstil dan produk tekstil; permesinan; elektronik; kimia anorganik dasar; petrokimia; furniture; kosmetik; jamu; alas kaki; produk industri kecil dan maritim. Dikarenakan ACFTA sudah berjalan hampir setahun maka menarik untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana profil dari UKM khususnya yang berkenaan dengan potensi produknya di pasaran dan profil daya saingnya.Penelitian ini memunculkan beberapa faktor utama dalam mengukur potensi dan strategi bisnis UKM dalam menghadapi persaingan paska perjanjian ACFTA, yaituFaktor 1 : yang meliputi− Target laba yang direncanakan tercapai dengan baik− Target omzet penjualan yang direcanakan tercapai dengan baik− Jumlah pelanggan menjadi naik− Target Penjualan yang direncanakan tercapai semuanya− Tidak mudah memperoleh Karyawan yang memproduksi produk andaFaktor 2 : yang meliputi− Produk anda termasuk unik/langka tidak ada yang menyerupai− Produk anda tidak mudah ditiru− Produk anda tidak mudah digantikan manfaatnya oleh yang lain− Anda membuat iklan atau bergabung dengan semacam badan yang mempromosikan produk anda− Dalam merancang produk , anda mempertimbangkan kualitas produk import− Dalam merancang produk , anda mempertimbangkan disain/model produk importFaktor 3 : yang meliputi :− Jumlah produk sejenis yang berasal dari import ( RRC/India) semakin banyak− Harga produk lain yang sejenis lebih murah yang berasal dari import (RRC/India) daripada harga produk perusahaan anda− Disain atau model produk perusahaan anda termasuk lebih baik dibandingkan dengan produk lain yang sejenis

Abstract

Labor productivity is one measure of corporate performance. In this article, the levelof labor productivity is calculated based on the normal time per worker in completingthe work. The level of labor productivity can be affected by demographic factors,such as gender and age. This study aims to analyze the relationship between laborproductivity with demographic factors. This research was conducted at the companyconvection in the Bandung city. The research was done by observing the level oflabor productivity of 12 people, for 3 days, with 6 observations per day. The resultsof the calculation of the index of labor productivity on average by 149.18%, which isabove the average. Productivity index does not have a difference between male andfemale worker. While the variable age has a negative relationship with productivity,but statistically is not significance.Keywords: Labor productivity, demographic factors, productivity measurement.

Abstract

Quality of the raw materials are an important factor to keep business life of the restaurant.The freshness and originality of the material should be concerned all the time.The raw materials are ordered without any planning or scheduled. There are manykind of raw materials to cook all the menu. Hence we consider only the top 10 sellingmenu during January 2006 until December 2006. These raw materials are then classifiedto group A, B, and C according to ABC analysis along with usage and investment.ABC Critical Index Analysis are then conducted to find out whether the raw materialsis critical or not toward the service to consumer. This analysis combined investmentvalue, usage value, and critical value. Raw materials that classifies for group A inABC Critical Index Analysis are considered as important raw materials, which mustalways be available. By using ABC critical index analysis group A consists of sixteentype of raw materials with usage value 83,08%, group B consists of nine type of rawmaterials with usage value 10,74%, group C consists of 9 type raw materials withusage value 6,18%.Keywords: Pareto analysis, inventory control

Abstract

Service quality of the restaurant operations is a focus in this paper. Two Cafe Restau-rants were chosen, one as an research object - Cafe X, and other as its competitor- Cafe Y. Customer satisfaction is observed from the customer of Cafe X, and de-veloped a House of Quality from all this data. The result showed that all of qualityaspects have high importance rate which is explained that all of quality aspect areimportance for customer and has an impact to their satisfaction. The result alsoshowed some customer gave a lower satisfaction performance for some quality as-pects that explained competitors had a better performance. The study provided somesuggestions to increase satisfaction performance with quality service development.Keywords: service quality, service quality measurement, house of quality

Abstract

In service industry, service quality is used as one factor in competition. Culinaryindustry, such as restaurant, bar, cafe, or eatery booth are one dynamic sector intourism world. As a tourist destination either domestic or international, Bali createsa competitive business environment either local or international as well.American restaurant in average shows a higher score in service quality comparewith others. But Indonesian restaurant gives a higher scores in empathy dimension inservice quality. Customer is expecting a good services, especially in culinary industryin sustaining their businesses. The company should look carefully into aspects ofservice quality, hence they can be a winner in the competitive industry.Keywords: Service quality, hospitality management

Abstract

Indonesia is facing a fundamental shift in demography and geography. The birthrates is declining, with improvement in the health facilities, as well as increasingthe proportion of individuals of productive ages. The advantages occurred in the con-ditions of growing individuals in the age group 15-64 years, and declining birth rates(fertility). Can this advantages used to increase the competitiveness of Indonesia?This condition shows the power of productive age, and is known as the de-mographic dividend. In the demographic dividend period, Indonesia has an abun-dance of potential human resources in the productive age. On the other hand thatentrepreneurship is a vehicle to enhance the nation’s competitiveness. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan faktor-faktor yang ada dalam teori perilaku dan perilaku wirausaha baru di pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini menjadi penting, dikarenakan aktivitas wirausaha menjadi salah satu bagian penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi di suatu Negara. Selanjutnya, metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi logistic biner dengan data yang berasal dari data APS (Adult Population? Surveys)? hasil survei GEM (Global Enterpreneurship Monitor) di Indonesia pada Tahun 2013. Adapun responden yang dipilih berusia 18-64 tahun yang berdomisili di pulau Jawa. Terdapat 4 faktor dalam teori perilaku yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungannya terhadap perilaku wirausaha baru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku wirausaha baru di pulau Jawa adalah perilaku mengenal pelaku usaha lain dan ketakutan kegagalan dalam berwirausaha, sedangkan faktor persepsi kesempatan membuka usaha baru dan kemampuan dalam berwirausaha tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku wirausaha baru.?Kata Kunci: Teori Perilaku, Wirausaha Baru, Analisis Regresi

Abstract

AbstractTo achieve self-sufficiency in the supply of meat and milk, the Ministry of Agriculturehas issued Peraturan Menteri Pertanian Nomor : 40/Permentan/PD.400/9/2009,about implementation guideline of the KREDIT USAHA PEMBIBITAN SAPI(KUPS). This study aims to gain a complete understanding of the implementationKUPS at the farmer level. It was conducted an exploration phase about adistribution and use of the KUPS. KUPS distribution will include mechanisms andprocedures, but the use of KUPS includes the aspects of benefit for their business.An exploration phase was carried out in KPSBU Lembang (Koperasi Peternak SapiBandung Utara). KPSBU Lembang is a primary cooperative in the district Lembangwhich has members including dairy farmers with a working area of North Bandung.KUPS programs created by the government as one of the government’s support inpromoting cattle farmers in West Java has not been able to apply to the fullest.Operational level studies showed that cattle breeders breeders generally do notaccess KUPS. KPSBU Lembang merupakan sebuah koperasi primer tunggal usaha di keca-matan Lembang yang merupakan suatu wadah bagi para petani peternak sapi perahdengan wilayah kerja Bandung Utara. Program KUPS yang dibuat oleh pemerintahsebagai salah satu dukungan pemerintah dalam memajukan peternak sapi di JawaBarat belum bisa menerapkan secara maksimal. Kajian ditingkat operasional peter-nak sapi diperoleh bahwa pada umumnya peternak tidak mengakses KUPS. Abstract

One of the efforts to ensure the company’s survival is to increase the efficiency of line balancing in company. The goals of this research are to get a scenario of how the line balancing in the company is done, observe the using of the line balancing method in order to increase the efficiency. This research used study case and descriptive analysis. The data collection was done by direct observation and interview with production division. The research was done at a manufacturing company that produces tapioca flour. The result showed that the line balancing in company is 39.21%, it means that the effective time the company used in line production is 39.21%. The efficiency of line balancing has not been reached yet because of the total operation time in every workstation has not balanced yet with cycle time, 0.0427 minutes. If the company apply the line balancing method, it could increase the efficiency up to 98.01%. The influencing factors of the line balancing are : the irregular supply of raw materials which eventually accumulated at certain time and thus, causing the machines to have an idle time. Abstract

Success or fail in a study at university can be affected by some factors. Entry selectionprocess can be an initial stage in success prediction, up to graduation. Have theentry selection examination detected this appropriately ? Or have other evaluationmechanism within their study set early warning ? These are a focus question in thisarticle.According to academic data of year 1998 through 2006, found that entry selectionexamination give a prediction of success proportion of student finishing theirstudy. Meanwhile their second semester grade point academic gave a significant indicationof the success and failure. And also found that second semester grade pointacademic had a significant contribution for their achievement in first stage evaluationresult at fourth semester.Keywords: logistic regression, correlation analysis
