Abstract

Community Service Activities (PkM) aim to help ease the burden on people affected by Covid-19 in Banda Aceh. This activity has resulted in a caring attitude towards people who need masks at affordable prices. Meanwhile, the price of masks has been influenced by market mechanisms. By empowering micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to produce masks made of cloth, the availability of masks in the market has reduced scarcity so that prices are stable. The method of implementing this activity is direct application in the field.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dengan melaksanakan pelatihan bagi guru dan tenaga kependidikan di Dayah Darul Ihsan Tgk H. Hasan Krueng Kalee Aceh Besar secara kualitatif telah berhasil meningkatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan yang lebih luas dan mendalam dari sebelumnya dalam mengelola arsip di lingkungan lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode Pembelajaran Orang Dewasa (POD) sebagai teknik pelatihan yang dipadukan dengan model pembelajaran akfif dan interaktif membuat suasana belajar menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Dari hasil evaluasi paska pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh tim instruktur PkM secara menemukan bahwa terjadi perubahan secara kognitif mencapai 85 persen secara rata-rata. Inilah pentingnya kegiatan PkM dilakukan sehingga ilmu pengetahuan bermanfaat secara nyata untuk kemajuan masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze: (1) service quality, (2) facilities and infrastructure, (3) consumer satisfaction, and (4) its impact on consumer loyalty in the New Normal in Banda Aceh. The data collection method is a simple random sampling technique, with data analysis using path analysis. The samples are 120 respondents. The results of the analysis show that there is the direct influence of service quality (0.617) and facilities and infrastructure on consumer loyalty (0.372); the acquisition value is higher than the indirect effect of service quality on consumer loyalty with purchasing decisions as an intervening variable (0.026) and facilities and infrastructure on consumer loyalty with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable (0.010). The structural equations in this study are: Consumer satisfaction = 0.745 Service Quality + 0.281 facilities and infrastructure. Consumer loyalty = 0.035 Consumer satisfaction + 0.617 Quality of service + 0.372 facilities and infrastructure. From the results of the study, all variables show a very significant effect on consumer loyalty except for the variable of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty which was not significant. It means that every customer satisfaction will not necessarily lead to consumer loyalty.

Abstract

Melanjutkan pendidikan merupakan salah satu jalan dalam meningkatkan kualitas SDM, didalam pendidikan SDM akan di bentuk secara hard skill dan soft skill. Pendidikan tinggi baik Universitas, Sekolah tinggi maupun Politeknik menawarkan peningkatan terhadap skill. Melihat perlunya peningkatan pendidikan kearah pendidikan tinggi, Politeknik Kutaraja kemudian menjalan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan inti program ialah menstimulus siswa untuk tertarik melanjutkan pendidikan, adapun pemilihan program ini dijalankan di sekolah menengah di Kabupaten Bener Meriah dengan kegiatan dijalankan selama tiga hari. Pemilihan kabupaten Bener Meriah sebagai tempat program pengabdian masyarakat didasari akan potensi daerah yang memiliki indek pembangunan manusia yang baik sebesar 9,79 , angka pengangguran yang rendah pada tingkat pendidikan diploma I,II, III sebesar 4% kemudian pada tingkat Diploma IV dan Sarjana sebesar 3%. Untuk angkatan kerja yang terisikan oleh pendidikan tinggi tingkat diploma I,II, III sebesar 1,8% dan pada tingkat Diploma IV dan Sarjana sebesar 7,6%. Dengan melihat masih adanya peluang pendidikan tinggi dalam memenuhi angkatan kerja maka SDM yang tersedia dan berkualitas perlu di ciptakan dengan cara memotivasi siswa sekolah tinggi untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya ke pendidikan tinggi. Kegiatan dilaksankaan di enam sekolah menengah, adapun metode pengambdian yang dijalankan ialah dilaksanakannya pelatihan serta tes minat dan bakas siswa sebagai gambaran terhadap keinginan dan kemampuan siswa dalam melanjutkan pendidikan dari hasil di dapatkan sebanyak 75% siswa berkeinginan melanjutkan pendidikan ke pendidikan tinggi dan 25% memilih untuk bergabung ke Polri atau TNI.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, sarana dan prasarana baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap kepuasan konsumen (2) pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, sarana dan prasarana baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap loyalitas konsumen (3) pengaruh kepuasan konsumen terhadap loyalitas konsumen (4) mengetahuai besarnya pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, sarana dan prasarana terhadap loyalitas konsumen melalui kepuasan konsumen Hotel Bintang Tiga di Kota Banda Aceh. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan pada tiga Hotel Bintang Tiga di Kota Banda Aceh, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 150 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan, sarana dan prasarana secara simultan maupun parsial berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada Hotel Bintang Tiga Banda Aceh. Kualitas pelayanan, sarana dan prasarana baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas pelanggan pada Hotel Bintang Tiga Banda Aceh serta Kualitas pelayanan, sarana dan prasarana berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa secara tidak langsung kedua variabel tersebut juga dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan loyalitas pelanggan melalui kepuasan pelanggan pada Hotel Bintang Tiga Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This Community service program was initiated by Polytechnic Kutaraja and collaboration with PLUT UMKM Banda Aceh a as learning facility and program socialization in a product, packaging, and business permit. The best Business assistant not only explains the product but also explain business permits, packaging, and other more about way to make an effective micro business, it is much needed late because people are increasingly aware of a business permit as facility consumption security and the way they choose product base on look likes. Besides that, this program also explains packaging as easy marketing method and also informs about what the product contains to customers and how they chose the product because the product is attractive.Then this program added information about how to publish their permit number (NIB) as business identity and how easy to publish this NIB where on this program they trained and guided on publishing their business permit.Lastly hoping to this program will be continued and can schedule every year to help micro business to get information about the business permit, good products, and attractive packaging.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the strategies implemented by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Banda Aceh Branch Office in disseminating the Non-Wage Recipient program and to find out the obstacles of this program. The theory used in this paper is the promotion mix model which includes: sales promotion, personal selling, direct marketing, advertising, and public relations. This study uses qualitative analysis methods. This paper uses certain data collection techniques such as an interview with respondents and documentation supporting the research.The results showed that the strategy BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Banda Aceh Branch used in socializing the Non-Wage Recipient Program or BPU program was by advertising or promoting the benefits of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program for informal workers in various media. The second strategy is personal selling. The third strategy is public relations. The fourth strategy is direct marketing through the Market. The last strategy is sales promotion through socialization in informal worker forums. There are four obstacles faced by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Banda Aceh Branch in conducting socialization this program, it is the public's view about BPJS is not an Islamic product, competition with commercial insurance, lack of firmness from the government.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the definition and application of ZPD and scaffolding in English language instruction. This study is a critical review that focuses on how ZPD and scaffolding can be used to construct and structure curriculum materials. Scholars and practitioners in the field of language learning have always sought to develop a theory to facilitate the learning process for students. Some academics have focused on ways to improve students' performance in language learning or how teachers might facilitate the language-learning process. To genuinely know what to help with and how to aid, language teachers must be aware of their students' capacities. The instructor should view students as distinctive individuals with distinct needs, identities, and skills. Teachers should recognize what children can perform alone and what they need assistance with. To empower the teacher, Vygotsky (1978) proposed the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) and Scaffolding theories. In this study, we endeavor to examine the theory of ZPD and Scaffolding. Secondly, we apply this idea to the context of language teaching and learning. Lastly, we discuss the significance of these theories for language learner identity.

Abstract

This study was done to examine the effect from country of origin and knowledge of product on purchase intention and product evaluation as mediating variable (study at electronics product, Maspion at Banda Aceh), the respondents of this study is Banda Aceh's society (purposive sampling). Model analysis in this study is using path analysis. Based on result of the analysis found that country of origin have influence on purchase intention, knowledge of product have no influence on purchase intention, country of origin have influence on product evaluation, knowledge of product have influence on product evaluation, evaluation product have influence on purchase intention, the effect from country of origin to purchase intention mediated by product evaluation, and the knowledge of product to purchase intention mediated by product evaluation.
