Abstract

This study aims to see a picture of empathy by integrating biological, sociological and psychological by using a delayed broadcast application which is intended to help Guidance and Counseling students to increase empathy and communication skills through a biopsychosocial approach to identify counselee problems. The implementation study uses a formative evaluation framework to see the counselor's communication with the counselee through three stages; 1) evaluation, consisting of a conceptual review; 2) technical, both formal and informal by the lecturer; 3) evaluation of Guidance and Counseling students who are involved in surveys and observations. The findings of this study indicate that bio-psycho-social video delays can improve counseling communication techniques (empathy) for prospective counselors. The results of this study can be used as a reference for lecturers and prospective counselors in providing learning about the counseling process so as to improve the quality of prospective counselors, especially in increasing empathy which is one of the counselor's character competencies.

Abstract

Abstract: The internet of things, which was known in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, can make it easier for teenagers to get information and access the internet everywhere. Excessive use of the internet and always sacrificing important activities by teenagers can be called information technology addiction. Examples of information technology addictions that have a negative impact are aggressive and non-aggressive online game addiction. The negative impact of online game addiction for adolescents is the disruption of social development, social interaction, self-esteem, sympathy, affection for others, and the inability to control themselves. The study aimed to examine the description of social intelligence, love, and self-regulation in adolescents with aggressive and non-aggressive online game addiction. The research population of adolescents from junior high and high school education levels in Malang City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey design. The instruments used were an online game addiction questionnaire, a social intelligence questionnaire, a love questionnaire, and a self-regulation questionnaire which was tested for validity and reliability using the Rasch Model. The results showed 1) the majority of adolescents experienced the more aggressive type of online game addiction than non-aggressive online games; 2) the majority of adolescents experiencing aggressive and non-aggressive types of online game addiction have low social intelligence, love, and self-regulation. Abstrak: Internet of things yang dikenal pada era revolusi industri 4.0 dapat mempermudah generasi remaja untuk mendapatkan informasi dan mengakses internet dimana-mana.Penggunaan internet yang berlebihan dan selalu mengorbankan kegiatan penting oleh remaja dapat disebut dengan adiksi teknologi informasi. Contoh adiksi teknologi informasi yang berdampak negatif yaitu adiksi game online jenis agresif dan non agresif. Dampak negatif dari adiksi game online bagi remaja adalah terganggunya pengembangan sosial, interaksi sosial, harga diri, simpati, kasih sayang kepada orang lain, dan tidak mampu mengontrol dirinya. Tujuam penelitian adalah untuk menelaah gambaran social intelligence, love, dan self-regulation pada remaja yang adiksi game online jenis agresif dan non agresif. Populasi penelitian remaja yang dari jenjang pendidikan SMP dan SMA di Kota Malang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuanititif dengan desain survei. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner adiksi game online, kuesioner social intelligence, kuesioner love, dan kuesioner self-regulation yang di uji valid dan realibitas menggunakan Rasch Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) sebagian besar remaja lebih banyak mengalami adiksi game online jenis agresif dibandingkan game online jenis non agresif; 2) sebagian besar remaja mengalami adiksi game online jenis agresif dan non agresif memiliki social intellogence, love, dan self-regulation rendah

Abstract

The competency of vocational high school guidance and counseling teachers (SMK BK Teachers) is very important to be improved in facing the challenges of the 4.0 revolution era. It is hoped that the enhancement of the competency of the Vocational School Guidance and Counseling Teachers will be able to help students think analytically, evaluatively, creatively, and in complex ways known as High Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) and develop students' career readiness. Therefore, vocational high school guidance and counseling teachers must have creative and innovative strategies in providing career guidance services. Creative and innovative forms can be seen in the design of career guidance that is oriented towards developing 21st-century skills, namely critical thinking skills, creating thinking skills, collaborative skills, and communications skills (Four C's). The method is to apply a project-based learning model with an “in-on-in” pattern, namely three activities including one synchronous off-line activity, one asynchronous online activity, and one assignment activity. The number of participants is 20 teachers, teachers of vocational high school guidance and counseling in Malang City with a pattern of 32 lesson hours and conducted in four weeks. This training succeeded in adding to the insight and competence of the guidance and counseling teachers of vocational high schools to compile a career guidance design by compiling RPLBK and animated video media with using the powtoon app.

Abstract

Abstract: Recently, social media has been an integral part of adolescents’ life, serving as a medium for their self-actualization. On the other hand, adolescents use social media for hostile activities, such as bullying. This study describes Instagram as a platform for cyberbullying as it allows students to demonstrate their hedonist lifestyle. In this study, we used a descriptive qualitative approach. For the data collection, we involved two senior high school students, who were selected through purposive sampling with the criteria of undertaking cyberbullying acts to fulfill their needs for a hedonist lifestyle. The data were collected through structured interviews and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which consisted of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion making. The data validity was examined using the data triangulation technique. Our findings suggested that students commit cyberbullying to fulfill their lifestyle and attain recognition from their surroundings. Thus, the school’s guidance and counseling service should further regard our findings in providing the guidance and counseling services.Abstrak: Media sosial telah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan remaja sebagai media aktualisasi diri. Di sisi lain, remaja juga memanfaatan media sosial untuk hal-hal yang bersifat negatif, salah satunya adalah bullying. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Instagram sebagai ruang cyberbullying untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gaya hidup hedonis siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitiatif deskriptif. Subjek utama adalah dua orang siswa SMA yang ditetapkan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria siswa yang melakukan cyberbullying untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gaya hidup hedonisnya. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara tak berstruktur dan studi dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang cenderung melakukan tindakan cyberbullying di instagram bertujuan untuk memenuhi gaya hidup dan mendapat pengakuan dari lingkungan sekitar. Implikasi temuan penelitian ini terhadap layanan bimbingan dan konseling dibahas lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Abstract: The Dalihan Na Tolu is a system of kinship that originated from the Muslim Mandailing Batak tribe regulating the life of people. This study aims to identify the role of Dalihan Na Tolu values as the kinship system as the fundamental for Muslim Mandailing Batak nomads students’ meaning of life fulfillment. This qualitative study used the phenomenology design. In collecting the primary data, we used observation and interviews with two Muslim Mandailing Batak nomads students. At the same time, the secondary data were obtained from the parents, siblings, friends, neighbors, and teachers. The data validity was assessed using triangulation on the observation and interview data. Our analysis results suggested that the Muslim Mandailing Batak nomads students’ meaning of life can be observed through three fundamentals of the meaning of life, namely the creativity, belief, and bravery values. The creativity value consists of the Marsitukkol Tukkolan Songon Suhat Di Robean value (asking the siblings to be successful) and Annakon Ki Do Hamoraon Di Au value (vengeance in learning). The belief value subsists of the speech or manner values in talking with the elders and Tua Mi U Jujung-jujung Tilako Mi U Dege-dege (disseminating kindness and covering the evils). Lastly, the behavior value consists of the bravery value.Abstrak: Dalihan Na Tolu merupakan sistem kekerabatan suku Batak Mandailing Muslim dalam mengatur kehidupan bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterkaitan nilai-nilai Dalihan Na Tolu sebagai sistem kekerabatan dapat menjadi dasar pemenuhan meaning of life siswa perantauan beretnis Batak Mandailing Muslim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi fenomenologi. Prosedur pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara kepada dua orang siswa perantau beretnis Batak Mandailing Muslim sebagai sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder terdiri dari orang tua, saudara, teman, tetangga, dan guru. Pengecekan keabsahan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan triangulasi yang bersumber dari hasil wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan meaning of life siswa perantauan beretnis Batak Mandailing Muslim dapat dilihat dari tiga aspek sebagai landasan meaning of life, yaitu nilai kreatif, nilai keyakinan dan nilai keberanian. Nilai kreatif yang terdiri dari nilai Marsitukkol Tukkolan Songon Suhat Di Robean atau mengajak kerabat untuk sukses dan Annakon Ki Do Hamoraon Di Au atau bersungguh-sungguh dalam belajar. Nilai keyakinan yang terdiri dari nilai tutur atau bertata krama dengan orang tua dan Tua Mi U Jujung-jujung Tilako Mi U Dege-dege atau menyebarkan kebaikan dan menutup keburukan. Nilai sikap yang terdiri dari nilai keberanian.

Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of information services via Instagram on the self-actualization of students and whether there are differences in the level of self-actualization between two groups with different treatments. The implementation at SMP Negeri 6 Malang used two samples, class VIII (B) as an experimental class and VIII (D) as a control class with 32 students each. Experimental classes, treatment through Instagram and control classes conventionally use power points. The implementation started on March 22 - April 19, 2022, with seven treatments and no sample withdrawals. Research method with true experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. Hypothesis test with independent sample test through SPSS 22 to find out the comparison of experimental and control class scores. The pretest output in the experimental class has a mean of 84.72 and a posttest of 99.59. The control class at the pretest has a mean of 88.19 and a post-test of 93.63. The results of the independent sample test on the pretest have a value of F (0.442) with a significance (2-tailed) of 0.137 greater than 0.05 which means that there is no noticeable difference, then at the time of post-test it shows a value of F (1.028) with a significance (2-tailed) of 0.003 less than 0.05, so there is a striking difference between the level of self-actualization of the experimental and control classes. Abstrak: Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan informasi via instagram terhadap aktualisasi diri peserta didik dan ada tidaknya perbedaan tingkat aktualisasi diri antara dua kelompok dengan perlakukan yang berbeda. Pelaksanaan di SMP Negeri 6 Malang dengan memakai dua sampel, kelas VIII (B) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII (D) sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing 32 peserta didik. Kelas eksperimen, treatment melalui instagram dan kelas kontrol secara konvensional menggunakan power point. Pelaksanaan mulai tanggal 22 Maret - 19 April 2022 dengan tujuh kali treatment dan tidak ada sampel yang gugur. Metode penelitian dengan true experimental dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Uji Hipotesis dengan independent sample test melalui SPSS 22 untuk mengetahui perbandingan skor kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Output pretest pada kelas eksperimen memiliki mean 84.72 dan posttest 99.59. Kelas kontrol saat pretest memiliki mean 88.19 dan posttest 93.63. Hasil uji independent sample test pada pretest memiliki nilai F (0.442) dengan signifikansi (2-tailed) 0.137 lebih besar dari 0.05 yang berarti tidak adanya perbedaan yang mencolok, kemudian pada saat posttest menunjukkan nilai F (1.028) dengan signifikansi (2-tailed) 0.003 lebih kecil dari 0.05, sehingga ada perbedaan yang mencolok antara tingkat aktualisasi diri kelas eksperimen dan kontrol.

Abstract

Abstract: Research and development aims to produce a product out of a career planning module to enhance the middle-school career-making skills. Adapting the 5 steps of research and development of the Borg & Gall (1983) which covered (1) the stage of data collection; (2) research planning; (3) product design stage; (4) product trials; And (5) the product revision. The expert test consists of one materials expert, two media experts and two user candidates who are counselors. The analysis of the data results from the materials test uses the feasibility percentage formula, while the data of the media expert and the user test results use the inter-rater agremeent model formula. The results from a data analysis of materials collected by 90%. Validation from the media expert test scores by 1 as well as the user test scores by 1. The results of data analysis from the product testing process fall into very precise category, and thus the product that has been developed may be stated to meet the appropriate criteria for acceptance that include the four aspects of accuracy, usefulness, ease and attraction. Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan bertujuan menghasilkan produk berupa modul perencanaan karier untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengambilan keputusan karier siswa SMP. Mengadaptasi 5 langkah penelitian dan pengembangan dari Borg & Gall (1983) yang meliputi (1) tahap pengumpulan data; (2) perencanaan penelitian; (3) tahap desain produk; (4) uji coba produk; dan (5) revisi produk.Uji ahli terdiri satu ahli materi, dua ahli media dan dua calon pengguna yang merupakan konselor. Analisis data hasil uji ahli materi menggunakan rumus presentase kelayakan, sedangkan data hasil uji ahli media dan uji calon pengguna menggunakan rumus inter-rater agremeent model. Dari hasil analisi data uji ahli materi diperoleh hasil sebesar 90%. Hasil validasi dari uji ahli media memperoleh skor sebesar 1 begitu pula dengan hasil uji calon pengguna memperoleh skor sebesar 1. Hasil analisis data dari proses uji coba produk tergolong dalam kategori sangat tepat, dengan demikian produk yang telah dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan sesuai dengan kriteria keberterimaan yang mencakup empat aspek yakni ketepatan, kegunaan, kemudahan dan kemenarikan.

Abstract

Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dengan media tentunya membutuhkan penggunaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi sehingga proses layanan dapat diterima dengan baik oleh siswa. Peningkatan kualitas layanan berbasis digital yang menarik dan dekat dengan tren yang diikuti oleh siswa. Menjadi konselor kreator, membutuhkan sebuah usaha dan pelatihan untuk mampu membuat layanan yang dekat dengan siswa dan menarik bagi siswa. Pelatihan konselor kreator untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan BK berbasis digital merupakan upaya penyelesaian masalah yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan memberikan kegiatan pelatihan kepada MGBK SMA Kota Malang. Pelatihan dilakukan secara berkala dengan kombinasi pertemuan daring dan luring dan intensive coaching melatih konselor menjadi konselor creator. Secara kesuluruhan berdasarkan hasil angket evaluasi yang diisikan oleh 8 orang dari 15 peserta pelatihan menyatakan bahwa pelatihan sangat menyenangkan dengan presentase 55,6% sangat menyenangkan dan 44,4% menyenangkan, dengan fasilitator yang cukup jelas dalam menyampaikan materi dengan metode yang tepat dengan presentase 55,6% sangat jelas dan 44,4% jelas. Sehingga konselor dapat mengembangan konten layanan BK berbasis digital berupa skenario konten layanan, video, dan microblog. Selanjutnya peserta pelatihan menyatakan bahwa pelatihan ini sangat memberikan manfaat dalam membantu konselor dalam mengembangkan media layanan BK.

Abstract

Abstract: One of the mandatory courses for students majoring in guidance and counseling is a behavior counseling practicum. The purpose of this research is to develop the behavior counseling e-module based on case studies that can be applied to students of guidance and counseling. The research and development design used in this study is the ADDIE model. The instrument used is a module assessment scale. The assessors are experts in guidance and counseling, media, language, and prospective users. Index agreement result of the product by the guidance and counseling expert validator is 1 (very high), the media expert is 0.93 (very high), the language expert is 0.90 (very high), and the user assessment showed the mean score is 3.55 (very high in 4 scales). The developed product, e-module, has met the product acceptability criteria from various specified aspects. Abstrak: Salah satu mata kuliah wajib bagi mahasiswa jurusan bimbingan dan konseling adalah praktikum konseling perilaku. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-modul konseling perilaku berbasis studi kasus yang dapat diterapkan pada mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling. Rancangan penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala penilaian modul. Uji ahli melibatkan ahli di bidang bimbingan dan konseling, media, bahasa, dan calon pengguna. Hasil indeks produk oleh ahli bimbingan dan konseling adalah 1 (sangat tinggi), ahli media 0,93 (sangat tinggi), ahli bahasa 0,90 (sangat tinggi), dan penilaian pengguna menunjukkan skor rata-rata 3,55. (sangat tinggi dalam 4 skala). Produk yang dikembangkan, yaitu e-modul telah memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan produk dari berbagai aspek yang ditentukan.
