The role of teachers in instilling character courtesy of students in schools is needed. Since it is the duty of teachers as a profession that includes educating, teaching, and training. Teachers in the field of humanitarian tasks in the school should be able to make himself as second parents. Teachers as mentors, teachers, educators and trainers indispensable role in educating students that behave according to the values, character, norms not only in schools but also in the community. This study aims to determine the manners of students in schools and the role of teachers in instilling character manners, but it is also knowing how teachers in instilling character manners, inhibiting factor in instilling character values manners that are eroded by time on SDN Teluk Dalam 12 Banjarmasin. The methods used in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection is done with the techniques of observation, interview and documentation. Analysis of the results of research that is used is the analysis of the data reduction steps, the presentation of the data, draw conclusions. The results showed that the role of teachers in instilling character courtesy of students at SDN Teluk Dalam 12 Banjarmasin has been good, although it could be said to be not optimal. The ways by teachers is to be an example for the students. so the students will be easy to emulate. Constraints faced in carrying out activities such as self-esteem itself, the influence of age, self awareness and supporting factors like environment. The benefits of planting itself courtesy character very much and is very useful for myself in particular. Suggestions for this study it is expected that students realize that the importance of the manners of good character for yourself or for others, and is constantly working to build the character of courtesy that is not only in schools but also in the family and in the community.

Artikel ini memfokuskan pada peluang IAIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin sebagai sebuah perguruan tinggi untuk mengembangkan diri menjadi sebuah universitas riset. Di masa sekarang, universitas riset adalah sebuah keniscayaan bagi perguruan tinggi agar bisa survive, selain sebagai dharmabakti. Hasilnya, sejumlah upaya telah dilakukan, seperti peningkatan kuantitas penelitian dan publikasi hasil penelitian. Tetapi, upaya-upaya tersebut masih butuh penanganan yang lebih serius dan terarah.

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 36 Rantau Bayur menyimak isi wacana narasi melalui penerapan model group investigation. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 36 Rantau Bayur sebanyak 20 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tindakan kelas. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui teknik tes dan teknik observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh simpulan bahwa upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 36 Rantau Bayur pada pembelajaran menyimak isi wacana narasi melalui pernerapan model pembelajaran group investigation berhasil setelah dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Berdasarkan jumlah dan persentase siswa yang telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar setelah tindakan siklus III, yaitu 18 orang (90%) menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 36 Rantau Bayur pada pembelajaran menyimak isi wacana narasi melalui penerapan model group investigation sudah mencapai ketuntasan karena siswa yang memperoleh nilai 70â100 mencapai 18 orang atau 90%.Kata kunci: Upaya, Belajar, Model Group Investigation, Wacana NarasiÂ

LEADERSHIPÂ Â Â STYLEÂ Â OFÂ Â KYAIÂ Â LUKMANÂ Â AL-KARIM IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION:Â A CASE STUDY IN PESANTREN Â BAHRUL MAGHFIRAH, MALANG: The leadership is not something that can onlyÂ be learned Â and researched. Â Even Â in leadership, Â many types can be found; character Â and the most protrudeÂ leadership action from a person who has an important role in his achievement to Â lead Â his Â institution.Â This Â research Â was Â conducted Â through field research using qualitative Â model. Researcher inspectedÂ the opinions of Kyai Lukman thinkingÂ in his efforts to develop and advance his pesantren. The result of this research is: to lead and defend the existence Â of his Islamic boarding school that he runs by himself, Kyai Lukman applies many strategies as follow: First, KyaiÂ Lukmanâs Â strategy Â in managing Â the Â educational Â funding. Kyai Lukman uses several kinds of method to fund the educational activities in his institution; they are self-funding and donation from the income of pesantren profit centers. Kyai Lukman increases the qualityÂ of laborers in pesantren Â Bahrul Maghfiroh by giving the examplary Â attitude Â of waraâ,Â uswatun Â hasanah Â (good example) and riyadloh (tirokat)Â to all students, all laborers and all teachers (asatizh). Kyai Lukman also expanded the curriculum of teaching in his pesantren. Second, the types of Kyai Lukmanâs leadership. From many perceptions, Â the researcher could classify thatÂ Kyai Lukman has charismatic,Â transformational, and visionary leader attitude.

This study aims to determine the quality of health care and patient satisfaction in hospitals Harapan Insani West Kutai. Besides, this study also aims to determine the implications of the quality of health care to patient satisfaction in hospitals Harapan Insani West Kutai. The results showed that the prices Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (Pearson) of 0.592 at a significance level of 5%. These results were compared with the prices Critical contained in table r Product Moment Correlation (Pearson) at a significance level of 5% to N = 130 by .170, then the value is greater than the empirical r r theoretical value or 0.592> 0.170. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship of variable kuealitas service with variable patient. The results showed also that the t-test results is equal to 8.310 at a significance level of 5%. While t-theoretical value as shown in the table t-test contained in the annex to this paper shows the value of t for n - 2 (130-2 = 128) amounted to 1,979. Thus it can be said that t-empirical (8.310) is greater than the t-theoretical (1,979). Thus, there are significant and significant relationship between the variable quality of health services with variable patient satisfaction ..

Kesantunan Berbahasa dalam Interaksi antara Penjual dan Pembeli Tanaman Bunga dan Buahdi Pasar Kilometer 7 Kabupaten Banjar. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan wujud kesantunan danstrategi kesantunan dalam interaksi antara penjual dan pembeli tanaman bunga dan buah di PasarKm.7 Kab. Banjar.Wujud kesantunan dalam data yang ditemukan berjumlah enam jenis, yaitu maksimkebijaksanaan, maksim penerimaan, maksim kemurahan atau pujian, maksim kerendahan hati,maksim kesepakatan atau kecocokan, dan maksim kesimpatian. Strategi kesantunan ada tiga jenis.Pertama, strategi kesantunan positif, yaitu melalui menggunakan kata sapaan yang berusaha membuatmitra tuturnya merasa akrab. Kedua, strategi kesantunan negatif, yaitu dengan memberikan pilihankepada mitra tuturnya. Ketiga, strategi Off Record, yaitu dengan menggunakan isyarat daripadaperintah langsung.Kata-kata kunci: kesantunan, penjual, pembeli

Efficiency is a parameter to measure the performance of companies and organizations. As an institution in charge of managing the funds of the people, this institution need for special attention, it use to see the professionalism of these institutions manage ZIS fund. This study aims to determine the efficiency of the management of zakat, donation and sadaqah (ZIS) at amil zakat Yayasan Dana Sosial Al - Falah (YDSF) Surabaya by using descriptive quantitative approach. The technique of collecting data in the form of documentation and interviews, using secondary data in the form of financial statements institute period 2015 - 2017. The data analysis technique uses data envelopment analysis (DEA) with the production approach, the orientation of the input and output. Input variables include total assets and operating costs, while the output variable includes the amount of ZIS funds collected and distributed, using the assumption of a variable return to scale (VRS). The results showed that the production approach Yayasan Dana Sosial Al - Falah (YDSF) had maximum efficiency with a value of 100 percent or 1, in the period 2015, 2016 and 2017. Based on these results mean Yayasan Dana Sosial Al - Falah (YDSF) has reached optimal performance in managing ZIS, it proved by using input and output which is in accordance with the actual value and the target at the measurement Data envelopment analysis (DEA).

Production of kenaf fiber for industry mostly uses chemical fertilizers with synthetic dyes that will also cause health and environmental problems and adversely affect all life forms. Increased health and environmental concern make organic kenaf fiber production with natural dyes highly recommended for both handicrafts and for industrial scale because natural fertilizers and dyes are non-toxic, decomposable, and environmentally friendly. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of consumer preference to organic kenaf fiber with natural dyes. The study used a two-factor group randomized design with the first factor of organic kenaf fiber and a second factor of natural dye consisting of 3 levels. The research was repeated as many as 2 replications so that there were 6 experimental units. Variables observed by consumer's level of craft product from organic kenaf fiber with natural dye covering color, texture and odor tested. This test is done by Hedonic Test method, using questionnaire with untrained panelist (consumer) as many as 40 people with data obtained based on a panelist response using a hedonic scale was analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis test. The results showed that there was no significant difference in consumer preferences for the color, texture and odor of organic kenaf fiber with various natural dyes.

This study examines Oliver Twist novel written by Charles Dickens as the object of the research. The aims of this research are to find out the conditions of working-class life during the Victorian era which are reflected in Oliver Twist novel, and to show the way Dickens reflected the conditions of working-class life during the Victorian era in Oliverâ€™s life. This research uses the sociology of literature theory in analyzing the working-class life conditions in the novel. The method of this research belongs to qualitative research, using mimetic approach. The data of this research are words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs that indicated as the working-class life conditions as reflected in the novel. Then the result of the research shows there are seven characteristics of the working-class life condition as reflected in Dickensâ€™ Oliver Twist such as the workhouse, fear and hopelessness, the smallest laborers, a difficult transition, an unsanitary life, crime in the city, and too much convicts; and the way Dickens reflected the working-class life conditions during the Victorian era in the novel through Oliverâ€™s actions, dialogues, speech, thoughts, appearance and the narrations of the story.

The purpose of the research is determine the feasibility of the student worksheet based on soft skills on the subject matter of colloids in terms of content validity and construct through the results of expert validation, practicality through student activities and student responses and effectiveness through student learning outcomes and the assessment of students' soft skills. This type of research is a 4-P model development research with stages, namely, defining, designing, developing, and dessiminate, which is limited to the development stage. A limited trial was conducted to 15 students of 11th grade in SMA Negeri 1 Bangsal Mojokerto. The results showed that the worksheet developed valid in terms of content validity obtained a percentage of 91.76% and construct validity obtained a percentage of 92.49%. Practical in terms of the results of student responses to the worksheet obtained a percentage of 97.16% and supported by observations of activities students get a percentage of 92.27%. Effectiveness in terms of student learning outcomes obtained a value of ? 70 with classical completeness of 100% and the assessment of soft skills of students gained a percentage of 92.41% so that students have the ability to entrepreneurship.
