Abstract

It is a necessity to develop environmental learning to solve climate change problems, in particular. One of the focuses is climate change learning at the elementary school level that requires elementary teacher candidates to understand various climate change issues. Skills needed are Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) measurable using Ichsan’s taxonomy as an innovation. Ichsan’s taxonomy consists of six thinking levels, namely identify, compare, implement, criticize problems, solve problems, and develop innovation. The study describes the HOTS of elementary teacher candidates using the HOTS of Climate Change with Ichsan’s taxonomy (HOTSCC-Ichsan). The study uses a descriptive method with a survey as the data collection technique. The study finds that the HOTS scores of the elementary teacher candidates measured using the HOTSCC-Ichsan are in a very low category (28.03). The finding indicates the need to enhance the HOTS-based learning intensively for the elementary teacher candidates. It requires learning media development to address the low HOTS. The research conclusion is that the HOTS of the elementary teacher candidates is low and needs an improvement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat assesmen keterampilan yang valid dan praktis pada mata kuliah Botani Tingkat Rendah di Laboratorium Pendidikan Biologi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. Jenis penelitian yaitu research and development (R & D). Model pengembangan yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE. Model ADDIE terdiri atas lima langkah, yaitu: (1) analisis (analyze), (2) perancangan (design), (3) pengembangan (development), (4) implementasi (implementation), (5) evaluasi (evaluation). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator, tingkat kevalidan assessmen keterampilan praktikum botani tingkat rendah yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata total kevalidan 3,74 (3,5 ≤ V ≤ 4,0) yang berada pada kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian respon asisten dan dosen maka tingkat kepraktisan assessmen keterampilan praktikum botani tingkat rendah berada pada kategori praktis dengan nilai 3,56 (3,0 4) untuk respon asisten dan 3,56 (3,0 4) untuk respon dosen yang berada pada kategori sangat positif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa assesmen keterampilan pada mata kuliah Botani Tingkat Rendah di Laboratorium Pendidikan Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar ini layak digunakan karena memenuhi kriteria valid, dan praktis.

Abstract

STEM learning is a new innovation in 21st century education. The ability to solve problems is important for students to learn to be able to solve environmental problems. The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of STEM on the ability to solve problems on the topic of environmental change. The method used in this research is Quasi Experiment. The sample used in this study was students at high school (SMAN) 4 Cibinong, Bogor Regency. The results of this study indicate that the instrument is valid and reliable. The results of the hypothesis test show that t-count > t-table which can be interpreted that the score there is an effect of lesson study-based Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning on students' problem-solving abilities on Environmental Change topic. Environmental Education plays an important role in shaping students' problem-solving skills. STEM-based learning in this case must prioritize solving environmental problems that are integrated with environmental education. The conclusion from this study is that STEM learning has an impact on students' problem-solving abilities

Abstract

This study aims at (1) knowing student learning outcomes in digestive system material using Verbal Soccer Strategy (2) knowing student learning outcomes in digestive system material using Media Card Problem (3) knowing the effect of using Verbal Soccer Strategy with Media Cards Problem with results student learning in the digestive system material class XI MIA SMAN 1 Tinambung Polewali Mandar district. This research is a Quasi-Experimental type with the research design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in the study were all students of class XI MIA SMAN 1 Tinambung, amounting to 123 people in 4 classes. The research sample consisted of 58 people selected from two classes using thetechnique Multi-Stage Random Sampling. Data collection techniques using research instruments in the form of multiple choice tests as many as 20 questions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with a paired sample t-test. The results showed the average learning outcomes of students taught using verbal soccer strategies of = 75.69 while the average learning outcomes of students taught using question card media amounted to = 50.34. Inferential analysis results obtained by the value of F.arithmetic (0,000) <F.table (0,05). This shows that there is a positive and significant effect of using verbal soccer strategies with question card media on student learning outcomes in digestive system material class XI MIA SMAN 1 Tinambung Polewali Mandar Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media awetan kering metamorfosis  kupu-kupu    terhadap  hasil  belajar siswa pada materi  metamorfosis kupu-kupu kelas VIII MTs Bontoramba Kabupaten Jeneponto. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasi-Experimental dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Populasi pada penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Bontoramba yang berjumlah 80 orang yang tersebar dalam 3 kelas. Sampel penelitian dipilih dua kelas menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sehingga ditentukan kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 27 orang dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan insrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan  uji paired 2 sample t-tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada uji hipotesis nilai posttest kelas eksperimen (VIII A) dan kelas kontrol (VIII B) diperoleh nilai  sig. 0,000 < 0,05  Dengan demikian ????0 ditolak dan ????1  diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan menggunakan media awetan kering metamorfosis kupu-kupu terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas VIII MTs Bontoramba .

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D, yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan) dan disseminate (penyebaran). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memproduksi media pembelajaran berupa Game Twister. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi dan angket respon peserta didik untuk mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, media Game Twister pada materi sistem reproduksi memiliki tingkat kevalidan berada pada kategori sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,7 (3,5 ≤ V ≤ 4), sedangkan tingkat kepraktisan berada pada kategori sangat positif dengan nilai dengan rata-rata nilai 3.70 (2,5 ≤ Xi ≤ 3,5).
