Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya belajar dan pengaruhnya terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP -IT Bunayya Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan deskriptif kualitatif dengan 21 siswa sebagai subjek. Pengamatan, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data. Teknik Miles dan Manusia digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data termasuk 1) reduksi data, 2) penyajian data, dan 3) verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian adalah 1) 11 siswa menggunakan gaya Kinestetik (52,4%) dan rata-rata prestasi matematika mereka adalah 65,9, 2) 8 siswa menggunakan gaya Visual (38%) dan rata-rata prestasi matematika mereka adalah 60,75, 3) 2 siswa menggunakan gaya Auditoria (9,6%) dan rata-rata prestasi matematika mereka adalah 65.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the effectiveness of using problem posing learning model on students’ mathematical problem solving ability on the topic of angle size (degrees and radians) at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest post test design) with 23 students as the sample and they were taken by using cluster random sampling technique from 214 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it was found: (a) the average of using problem posing learning model was 3.66 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ angle size achievement before using problem posing learning model was 64.34 (enough category) and after using problem posing learning model was 92.91 ( very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest, (SPSS version 16), the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, problem posing learning model was effective on students’ mathematical problem solving ability on the topic of angle size (degrees and radians) at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the effectiveness of using discovery learning model on students’ mathematical communication ability on the topic of trigonometric at the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Lumut. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest posttest design) with 33 students as the sample and they were taken by using cluster random sampling technique from 455 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it was found: (a) the average of using discovery learning model was 3.89 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ trigonometric achievement before using discovery learning model was 43.84 (fail category) and after using discovery learning model was 88.78 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest, (SPSS version 22) and N-Gain formulation, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05) and g= 0.81 (high category). It means, using discovery learning model gave high effect on students’ mathematical communication ability on the topic of trigonometric at the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Lumut

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analysis students' mathematical reasoning ability during Covid -19 pandemic in terms of student interest in learning. Subject of the research is eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. The approach of the research used qualitative. Instrument of the research used test, close questionnaire, and interview. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusion.The result of the research showsstudents' mathematical reasoning ability during Covid -19 pandemicis low category, 20% is high category, 20% is enough category, and 60% is low ability. The result of questionnaire concludes 60% students have low mathematical reasoning ability and low learning interest because don’t like mathematical subject, 20% students have average mathematical reasoning ability and average learning interest becausethey will like mathematical subject if mathematical teacher teach the subject in fun away, and 20% students have high mathematical reasoning ability and high learning interest because they like mathematical subjectand always challenged with math problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the difficulties of mathematic teachers in learning online in Covid – 19 periodin AngkolaJulu. The approach of the research used qualitative descriptive with 3 mathematic teachers. Questionnaire and interview were used in collecting the data and triangulation was used in checking the data validity. Analysis of the data includes data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusion. The result of the research shows the difficulties of mathematics teachers in using various media, conducting ask and answer, overcome the students problem in mastering subject, in giving comprehension subject, applying the goal of learning, difficulties in operating the computer, awaken students’ motivation, difficulties to know students’ mastering of subject, difficulties in accessing internet, and difficulties in arranging the time.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to know students’ creative thinking based high, average and low academic abilities. The approach of the research used qualitative and interview and test were used in collecting the data, the informant which included mathematics teacher and 5 students (1 student had high academic ability, 2 students had average academic, and 2 students had low academic). The results of the research shows student who had high academic had the skills to think fluently, breadth, authenticity, and detail, student who had average academic had good thinking skills but have not fully mastered the steps in solving the questions and conclusions of the questions, and students who had low academic abilities tend to have less creative thinking skills that are not good because they are unable to understand problems, make steps - steps in solving questions, the ability to think from one's own thoughts and make detailed answers.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi belajar matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi COVID-19 di SMK N 1 Batang Angkola. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan sampel 10 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan angket. penulis mengemukakan kesimpulan yaitu Analisis motivasi belajar matematika siswa dimasa pandemi covid-19 di lihat dari hasil jawaban angket (kuesioner) yang diperoleh siswa sebanyak 10 siswa dengan skor rata-rata 74,2 berada pada kreteria baik (Sedang), Berdasarkan wawancara yang telah di lakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa mereka menolak pembelajaran di rumah karena mereka banyak terkendala dengan jaringan internet yang tidak bagus,dan tidak memiliki paket internet.v

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop interactive learning media products through the Quizizz application in mathematics lessons in Class X SMA Negeri 1 Kolang. To see the effectiveness of interactive learning media through the Quizizz application in mathematics lessons in Class X SMA Negeri 1 Kolang. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kolang. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). This study uses the ADDIE development model including Analysis (analysis), Design (design), Development (development), Implementation (implementation), and Evaluation (evaluation). The data collection technique used is observation and lift. The results of this development are in the form of learning media in the form of animated videos. Learning media were validated by validators from 3 expert teams, namely media experts, 91% were obtained in the very good category, material experts were 96% in the very good category. Then the results of student responses or product practicality obtained an average value of 90 with very good achievements. The results of the research conducted showed that the average value of the students' pretest results was 62.06 while the posttest average value was 85.88. then to test the effectiveness of quizizz-based interactive media in learning seen from the acquisition of the N-gain value. the results of the above calculation obtained an N-Gain value of 0.63. Then if you look for the percentage of the N-Gain value obtained by 63%, it can be concluded that the acquisition of the N-Gain value is in the medium classification. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada materi Aritmetika Sosial di kelas VII MTs Ar- Raudlatul Hasanah Lumut. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di MTs. Ar-Raudlatul HasanahLumut. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII dan guru bidang studi matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan adalah trianggulasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu Reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sesuai dengan hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan diketahui nilai rata-rata Hasil observasi Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Siswa Kelas VII MTs Ar- Raudlatul Hasanah Lumut yaitu sebesar 57.14 yaitu berada pada kategori kurang. Nilai rata-rata tes materi aritmetika sosial diketahui sebesar 49.44 dengan kategori Rendah. Berdasarkan dari tes yang dilakukan terdapat sebanyak 1 siswa yang memiliki kategori tinggi atau sekitar 5.26%. Pada kategori sedang diperoleh sebanyak 6 siswa atau sebesar 31.58%. Kemudian pada kategori rendah yaitu 12 siswa atau 63.16%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pencapaian siswa berada pada kategori rendah. pencapaian ini menunjukkan masih banyak siswa yang memiliki pemahaman konsep matematika yang rendah di kelas VII MTs Ar- Raudlatul Hasanah Lumut. . Kata Kunci: Analisis, Pemahaman, Konsep, Matematika, Siswa.

Abstract

Abstract This development research aims to 1) Knowing the validity of developing website-based two-variable linear equation system teaching materials, 2) Knowing the practicality of using web-based two-variable linear equation system development teaching materials in learning activities, and 3) Knowing the effectiveness of developing linear equation system teaching materials two website-based variables to teach students' mathematical problem solving skills. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model, where this research consists of 5 stages, namely, 1) Analysis Phase, 2) Design Phase, 3) Development Phase, 4) Implementation Phase and 5) Evaluation Phase. The instruments used include 1) a questionnaire sheet in the form of a validation questionnaire by an expert to see the validity of the product and student response questionnaires to see the practicality of the product, as well as 2) a test sheet to test the effectiveness of the developed product being tested on 24 students in class X MIA 1 SMA N 1 Angkola East. Based on the results of this study, the product validity was obtained with an average percentage of 92.61% in the "Very Valid" category, product practicality with an average percentage of 85,52% in the "Very Practical" category, and product effectiveness with an average percentage of 76 ,62% with the category "Effective".It can be concluded that the development of website-based two-variable linear equation system teaching materials to teach students' mathematical problem solving skills is valid, practical and effective.
