Abstract

ABSTRAK Belajar adalah suatu proses interaktif dari hasil kegiatan pendidik dan pebelajar dalam lingkungan belajar tertentu.Dalam pembelajaran guru memegang peranan yang sangat penting di dalam merancang,melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran.agar setiap rancangan pembelajaran dapat direalisasikan dengan baik , maka setiap pendidik perlu memiliki kemampuan  merancang pembelajaran dengan baik dan membangkitkan minat belajar peserta didik .Minat merupakan dasar  dan pendorong bagi seseorang untuk melakukan apa yang diinginkan jika ingin mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan.  Minat merupakan suatu landasan yang meyakinkan demi keberhasilan suatu proses belajar. Peserta didik yang memiliki minat terhadap suatu obyek akan cenderung memberikan perhatian yang lebih besar terhadap materi yang dipelajarinya.  Guru perlu membangkitkan minat belajar siswa agar dapat bergairah untuk menerima pelajaran, menyadarkan siswa agar terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran, belajar dengan menyenangkan dan dapat menggunakan berbagai metode,strategi,teknik dan pendekatan  pembelajaran yang menyenangkan   Kata kunci: Peserta Didik, Belajar, dan Minat Belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is about project-based learning is a learning model that is used to enable the students. Project-based learning is learning that engages students directly in the learning process by providing a task or project to be done in groups which will produce a real product. A learning process in which students actively construct knowledge by means of constantly acquiring new information. Project based learning is an innovative learning model and a greater emphasis on contextual learning through complex activities that provide opportunities for students, working individually or in groups, and in touch with the real world. Implementation of project-based learning that can either provide capabilities that are beneficial to the students. The success of project-based learning occurs when students get motivated, active students in learning, and produce high quality work.   Keywords:  Project Based Learning, Students Activities

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine: The Effect of KKNI-Oriented Blended Learning Models on Students' Critical Thinking Ability. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental pattern with nonequivalent control group design. In this study used test and non-test data collection tools. Tests were used to collect data about students' critical thinking skills in the educational philosophy course. The tests used were written tests. Pre-test and post-test are given to the experimental and control classes to measure the students' critical thinking skills. The results showed that there was a significant influence using blended learning to the students' critical thinking skills. Thus it is recommended that lecturers use the blended learning model. Keywords: Model, Blended Learning, critical thinking

Abstract

Teachers are agents of renewal that acts as a facilitator of learning and are responsible for the achievement of learning outcomes of students. The success of students is determined by the strategy undertaken by the teacher. Teachers are required to improve the process of learning in the classroom so that learners are more eager to learn. Teaching is not just a transfer of knowledge to students, but a number of behaviors that will become the property of the learner. The use of approaches, methods, strategies, techniques and learning media are part of the learning management that should be implemented by the teacher in the classroom. Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in English subjects using Genre Based and Concept Sentence in elementary schools. This research was conducted in one of the SD Medan. This research is a quasi experiment. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SD IT Ummi Aida Medan. The sample consisted of 40 students. The data collection technique used was a test. The data collection instrument used was a test of English learning outcomes in the form of multiple choices of 30 questions. Before the research was carried out, the researchers tested the validity, reliability, and level of difficulty. The results showed that the experimental 1 average score was 78.75 and the experimental  2 average score was 68. Hypothesis testing using the t-test, obtained tcount> ttable (2.67> 2.02), with a significant level of α = 0.05. The results of the study concluded that there were differences in the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in English using Genre Based and Concept Sentence.

Abstract

 This study was to determine the differences in learning outcomes of English using Flashcards and Snake and Ladders learning media in elementary schools. This research is a type of comparative research using a quasi-experimental research design. This research was conducted at Tanjung Balai State Elementary School using two classes. Test the instrument by testing the validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing using t-test, obtained tcount > ttable (6.63 > 2.00), with a significant level = 0.05. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in English learning outcomes between students who are taught using Flashcards as learning media. taught using snake and ladder learning media, fourth grade elementary school students.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, media, Flashcards, Snake and ladders game , English

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to know the effect of instructional approach and verbal reasoning on students’ English speaking competence SMA Negeri 14 and 21 Medan.The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 14 and 21 Medan, in the first semester 2012/2013 academic year. The experimental research is done by using 2 x 2. Treatment by level design, with 80 students as sample that were taken by random sampling. The instruments used were verbal reasoning test and English speaking competence observation. The result of the research shows that: 1) there is the difference of students’ speaking competence between students taught by Contextual Teaching and Learning and conventional instruction; 2) there is the interaction between instruction approach and verbal reasoning and speaking English competence of SMA Negeri 14 and 21 Medan; 3) there is the difference of the students’ English speaking competence between students who have high verbal reasoning and low verbal reasoning; 4) there is the difference of the studens’ English Speaking Competence who have low verbal reasoning taught by using Contextual Teaching and Learning compare with the students who taught by using conventional instruction. Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini ialah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada bahasa Indonesia khususnya dalam menyimak pada materi mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur cerpen yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya penggunaan metode yang bervariasi. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 44 orang siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 101883 Pasar XIII Tanjung Morawa tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan observasi untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data menggunakan presentase. Berdasarkan tes yang digunakan di awal pembelajaran terdapat 5 orang (11,36%) yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 47,72. Pada siklus I diperoleh ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 31,82% dengan rata-rata kelas 62,15. Pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 93,18% dengan rata-rata kelas 78,18. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, model Discovery learning dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Kata kunci : Hasil belajar, metode pembelajaran discovery learning

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar  dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Visualization,Auditory, dan kinestetik siswa Sekolah Dasar di Medan. Pelaksanaan terdiri dari dua siklus.Prosedurnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket untuk menghitung angka persentase minat belajar, Berdasarkan hasil angket sebelum tindakan 24% berminat dengan rata- rata kelas 58,40 dan setelah dilaksanakan diperoleh minat belajar sebesar 52% dengan rata-rata kelas 71,20.Pada siklus II minat belajar meningkat menjadi 88% dengan rata-rata 81,92. Dengan demikian disarankan agar guru menggunakan model VAK proses pembelajaran serta meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Model VAK, Minat belajar, Pembelajaran, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendekskripsikan tingkat kesulitan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak dalam mengikuti pembelajaran daring di SD Negeri Desa Tanjung Sari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Orang tua di Kelas V SD Negeri 104230 Tanjung Sari dan SD Negeri 107415 Tanjung Sari dengan jumlah orang tua sebanyak 128 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif-kuantitaif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesulitan Orang tua  mendampingi anak dalam mengikuti pembelajaran daring di SD Negeri tanjung Sari secara keseluruhan masuk pada kategori “sulit".
