Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe the implementation of remedial programme that is performed by the teachers based on Permendikbud No. 81 A in the year of 2013 about the implementation of curriculum. The sample of this research was MTs Negeri Sungai Kakap. The tool of data collection was questionnaire which was given to the headmaster, teachers, and students. The other tools of data collection used were a list of inteview administered to the teachers and  the student score of evaluation test. The exact teachers in MTs Negeri Sungai Kakap have performed the remedial programme. The way of the remediation was revising students’ score which have not fulfil the school passing grade after evaluation  test or final year of the best. Based on the result, it was found that 55,1 % students admitted that the teacher did the remediation. Then 88,6 % students said that the way the teachers did the remediation. Was appropriatefor them. However, the implementation of remediation performed by the teachers in MTs Negeri Sungai Kakap has not been proper based on Permendikbud No.81 A in the year 2013 about the implementation of the curriculum. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mencobakan reciprocal teaching untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak tentang materi hukum Archimedes. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design tipe one group pre-test post-test design. Data diperoleh melalui metode Certainty of Response Index (CRI) termodifikasi. Sebanyak 39 orang siswa berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Diperoleh persentase rata-rata penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 77,61%. Penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada benda tenggelam tidak mengalami gaya apung (100%). Penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi lubang pada sebuah benda menyebabkan benda tenggelam (40%). Serta penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi ukuran besar benda menentukan posisinya di dalam air (92,85%). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi bagi siswa agar dapat mengatasi miskonsepsi yang dialami oleh siswa. Kata kunci: Recipocal Teaching, CRI termodifikasi. Abstract: Reciprocal teaching was conducted to remediate misconceptions on concepts of Archimedes Law of 10th grade students of the Pontianak Government High School No 2 using the one group pre-test post-test design. The modified of Certainty of Response Index (CRI) of multiple choise was administered among 39 students. The number of the students who have misconceptions decreases ranging from 40%-100%, in the average of 77.61%. It is expected that the reciprocal teaching could be used as an alternative remediation activities. Keywords: Reciprocal Teaching, Modified CRI.

Abstract

Abstrak: Meta analisis ini merangkum secara kuantitatif 30 penelitian tentang pengaruh PBL dalam bidang fisika dari artikel di jurnal online di Indonesia yang dipublikasi 2010-2015. Secara khusus, Harga effect size rata-rata 0,87. Selain itu juga diamati 18 variabel moderator yang diduga berpengaruh pada harga effect size. Variabel moderator yang mempengaruhi effect size ini secara signifikan yaitu: jenjang pendidikan peneliti , institusi/universitas peneliti , uji statistik yang digunakan , dan akreditasi jurnal tempat artikel diterbitkan . Kedepan diharapkan hasil penelitian  ini dapat menjadi referensi untuk mengkaji kembali penerapan  PBL pada pembelajaran di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Effect Size, Meta-Analisis, PBL Abstract: This meta-analysis quatitatively summarizes 30 researches on the influence of PBL in physics from articles in journals that published online in Indonesia from 2010 to 2015. In particular, the price of avarage effect size is 0,87. It also abserved 18 suspected moderator variables effect on the price of effect size. Moderator variables that affect significantly the effect size are: the level of researcher’s education  , the researcher’s instittution/university , the statistical tests used , adn the accreditation of the journal where the article was published . It is expected that the results of this study used as a reference for reviewing the implementation of the PBL of learning in Indonesia. Keywords: Effect Size, Meta-Analisis, PBL

Abstract

Abstrak : Mengetahui pengaruh remediasi berbentuk peningkatan kemampuan verbal terhadap penurunan miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa pada teori kinetik gas menjadi tujuan dalam penelitian Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest ini. Dua variabel yaitu peningkatan kemampuan verbal dan penurunan miskonsepsi siswa diuji korelasinya. Tes diagnostik berbentuk uraian sebanyak enam soal pada pre-test dan post-test diberikan kepada dua puluh tiga siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak dalam penelitian ini. Ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kecil antara kedua variabel dengan koefisien korelasi antara peningkatan kemampuan verbal dan penurunan miskonsepsi sebesar 0,296 dan memiliki Effect Size sebesar 0,015. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan verbal. Kata kunci : Remediasi, Kemampuan Verbal, Teori Kinetik Gas. Abstract : Determine the effect of remediation in the form of an increase in verbal ability to decrease students misconceptions on the kinetic theory of gases into was the objectives of this one group pretest-posttest Pre-Experimental Design research. Coeficient correlation of student’s verbal skills and student’s misconceptions were calculated. Diagnostic test which consists of six questions on the pre-test and post-test was administrated among 23 of 12th grade students senior secondary participated in this study. The results indicate that there is correlation between the two variables (r = 0.296) and has a low Effect Size (0.015). This study shows that misconception experienced by students can be influenced by verbal abilities of the students.Keyword : Remediation, Verbal Ability, Kinetic Theory of Gases

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen rancangan one group pretest posttest design untuk mengetahui pengaruh remediasi menggunakan strategi reflective learning dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang Hukum Archimedes. Hal ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan         data kuantitatif dengan dua instrumen yaitu pretes untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi siswa sebelum diremediasi, dan postes untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi siswa setelah diremediasi. Data tersebut diperoleh menggunakan soal tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 12 soal yang mewakili 4 konsep Hukum Archimedes yang disusun menggunakan metode Certainty of Response Index (CRI) termodifikasi yang diberikan kepada 33 siswa kelas VIII sebagai sampel penelitian. Data menunjukkan bahwa strategi reflective learning dapat mempengaruhi  miskonsepsi siswa tentang Hukum Archimedes. Rata-rata persentase penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tiap konsep sebesar 55% dan harga effect size sebesar 0,97 (tergolong tinggi). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi reflective learning dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi bagi siswa agar dapat mengurangi miskonsepsi yang dialaminya. Abstract: This research is a pre-experimental design of one group pretest posttest design to determine the effect of remediation using reflective learning strategies to remediating students' misconceptions about the Law of Archimedes. This was done by collecting quantitative data with two instruments, pre-test to determine student misconceptions before remediation, and post-test to determine student misconceptions after remediation. Data was collected by using the diagnostic    tests in the form of multiple-choice comprised of 12 questions by representing      four concepts related to Archimedes’s law arranged using Modified Certainty of Response Index (Modified CRI). The test was administered to 33 grade 8th students. It is found that the reflective learning strategies can affect students' misconceptions about the Law of Archimedes. The average percentage of the decreasing of number of students’ misconceptions each concept is 55% and the effect size of this study is 0,97. This research showed that the reflective learning strategies can be used as an alternative remediation activities to reduce students’ misconceptions. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan ini menghasilkan bahan bacaan berbasis metoda membaca Montessori untuk menyiapkan kemampuan mambaca anak TK. Pengembangan ini dilakukan melalui 6 tahapan, yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan dan masalah, (2) preskripsi tugas belajar dan desain pembelajaran, (3) validasi materi (membaca) dan media bacaan yang dilakukan ahli bahasa dan ahli media, (4) uji coba satu satu, (5) uji coba kelompok kecil dan (6) uji coba kelompok besar. Langkah ke-4, ke-5, dan ke-6 dilaksanakan di TK Bruder Melati Pontianak. Pengamatan dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak terlibat aktif ketika menggunakan bahan bacaan ini, suasana kelas pun terkesan menyenangkan. Disarankan agar bahan bacaan ini dikembangkan untuk materi TK yang lainnya dalam rangka meningkatkan reliabilitasnya.   Kata kunci: Pengembangan, Kemampuan Membaca   Abstract : This research aims to produces an audiovisual reading text based on Montessori reading method to prepare reading ability of preschool students. There are 6 steps : (1) needs and problems analysis, (2) complying learning taskand design instructional (3) experts validation both subject and media aspects, (4) one to one assessment, (5) small-piloting; and (6) big piloting. Stages: 4th, 5th and 6th were conducted at The Bruder Melati Preschool located at Pontianak. The observation revealed the students were active and enjoy to use thetext. It is suggested that this kind of reading text could be developed for other subjects or themes in order to increase its reliability.             Keywords: Development , Literacy

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil penerapan lima (5) kawasan teknologi pembelajaran pada pelajaran Biologi di SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari teknik pengumpulan data tersebut kemudian dilakukan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru Biologi dan kegiatan guru mata pelajaran Biologi di SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak menerapkan lima (5) kawasan teknologi pembelajaran yang meliputi kawasan desain, kawasan pengembangan, kawasan pemanfaatan, kawasan pengelolaan dan kawasan penilaian. Kata Kunci : Kawasan Teknologi Pembelajaran, Biologi Abstract: The research objective was to describe the application of five (5) Instructional Technology areas on Biology subject in SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The result shows that the lesson plan and the activities of Biology teachers in SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak have applied five (5) learning technology areas that include the area of ​​design, development, utilization, management and assessment. The conclusion that both of lesson plan as well as learning activities of Biology in SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak implement the areas of design, development, utilization, management and assessment. Abstract

Abstrak: Meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa menggunakan media lectora inspire tentang teori kinetik gas menjadi tujuan penelitian pre-experimental design rancangan one-group pretest-posttest design ini. Sembilan soal tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda yang mewakili tiga konsep fisika berkaitan dengan teori kinetik gas disusun menggunakan metode Certainty of Response Index (CRI) termodifikasi diberikan kepada sebelas sampel di kelas XII IPA 2 MAN 1 Pontianak. Ditemukan bahwa penerapan media lectora inspire dapat menurunkan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa (ES=2,67). Diharapkan media lectora inspire dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi pada konsep-konsep fisika. Kata kunci : Remediasi, Kinetik Gas, Lectora Inspire Abstract: The one group pretest postest pre experimental design was conducted to remedy student?s misconception of the kinetic theory of efficent by implementing the lectora inspire program. A series of aims question of the modification Certainty of Response Index of three option multiple choice test was administered to prompt this misconception among  grade students of the goverment religious secondary school at Pontianak city. Eleven student participated in this study. Result indicated that the lectora inspire can be used to reduce the number of students misconception (ES=2,67). Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to produce a good diagnostic test in heat and temperature to diagnose students misconception. This study is categorized as a research development. The initial draft result obtained 24 questions that have been validated by four physics lecturers and one physics teacher. The questions was tested on a small scale with 36 students of class XII in SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. This test is to find out the reliability value and difficulty?s level of the test. The results of this experiment obtained reliability value is 0.48. The large-scale trials was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak and SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak with a sample of 128 students. The results showed, as many as 16 questions of diagnostic tests of heat and temperature classified as an expected diagnostic test criteria. This is indicated by validator which validity of the content is 0,78: reliability value is 0.65: legibility?s level is 3,78: and difficulty?s level is medium-easy. As a result, the development of this diagnostic test has the potential to serve as a diagnostic test instrument for uncovering misconceptions in heat and temperature.Keywords: diagnostics test, misconception, heat and temperature

Abstract

Abstrak: Remediasi miskonsepsi ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen rancangan one group pre-test post-test design untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan reading infusion SQ3R dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang Gerak Jatuh Bebas. Tes diagnostik yang disusun dengan metode Certainty of Response Index (CRI) termodifikasi yang digunakan untuk menetapkan penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa yang diberikan kepada siswa kelas X Teknik Survey dan Pemetaan sebagai sampel penelitian. Data menunjukkan bahwa remediasi menggunakan reading infusion yang dipadukan dengan teknik membaca SQ3R efektif dalam mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang Gerak Jatuh Bebas. Rata-rata penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tiap konsep sebesar 0,67 dan harga effect size sebesar 0,81 (tergolong tinggi). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian reading infusion SQ3R dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam meremediasi bagi siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi.   Kata Kunci: Reading Infusion, SQ3R, Remediasi, Miskonsepsi Abstract: Remediation of these misconceptions is a pre-experimental research one group pre-test post-test design to determine the effectiveness of the using reading infusion SQ3R remediating student’s misconceptions about the Free Fall Motion. It is found that the reading infusion  SQ3R effective to reduce students' misconceptions about the Free Fall Motion. The average of the decreasing of number of student’s misconceptions each concept is 0,67 and the effect size of this study is 0,81.
