Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to determine the students learning outcome of science by directly applying the learning model. This research was done in class VII SMP Negeri 2 Batu Hampar March to April 2016 the academic year 2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collected in this study is the result of learning students consisting of absorption, mastery learning, student activities and teacher's activities. Data were collected using tests and observation sheet. The results showed that the student’s learning outcomes comprise absorption in the first cycle is 78.75% (enough) increased in the second cycle is 81.73% (good), mastery of students in the first cycle that 87.50% (complete category) increased in the second cycle of 100% (category complete), the activity of students in the first cycle is 87.88% (good) increased in the second cycle is 90.63% (excellent), the activities of teachers in the first cycle is 87.50%, ( good) increased in the second cycle of 100% (excellent). It can be concluded that the application of direct learning model can improve learning outcomes IPA class VII SMP Negeri 2 Batu Hampar the academic year 2015/2016.Keywords: Direct Learning, Learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the correlation of student learning outcomes in subjects with Morphology Plant Anatomy Plant Biology at the Faculty of Teacher Education Program UR. This study is a descriptive correlational study. The population in the study were all students of Biology Faculty of Teacher Education Program UR. The study sample was student class of 2010 who have completed the course Plant Anatomy and Morphology of Plants by the number of 49 students. Sampling using purposive sampling, which is based on the consideration that the selected sample had completed college courses Plant Anatomy and Morphology of Plants that can provide in formation for the purpose of research. Data collection techniques a resecondary data from documents existing value in Biology Education Program and a closed primary data through questionnaires. Secondary data analysis technique performed through Product Moment Correlation test to identify student learning outcomes through value assignment, the value of UTS, the value of UAS and the final valueis obtained. While the student perceptions questionnaire analysis techniques to the implementation of the course Plant Anatomy and Morphology of Plants analyzed descriptively percentage with reference to the perception measurement scale Likert scale. The result sof research on the subject of Plant Anatomy Plant Morphology significant at 5% level with a correlation coefficient value assignment (0.90) a strong category, the value of UTS (0.61) medium category, the value of UAS (0.81) and the strong category final value (0.85) a strong category. This means there is a positive and significant correlation between student learning outcomes in subjects with Morphology Plant Anatomy Plant Biology at the Faculty of Teacher Education Program UR.Keywords: Correlation, Learning Outcomes, PlantAnatomy, Morphology ofPlants

Abstract

Abstract. Peatland fires have a negative impact on plant life. This study aims to produce Class VIII Biology Science Learning Handout SMP by utilizing the results of a study on the morphological characteristics of the roots of peatland plants after the fire. To achieve these objectives, a survey was conducted in Rimba Panjang Village, Kampar District, Riau Province in February-October 2017. Quadratic methods and sampling techniques were purposively applied to the gradient of fire incidents in 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. The parameters observed were root plant morphology of dominant sapling level (root root and lateral root). Data were analyzed descriptively-qualitative. Sapling strata vegetation research results have 6 dominant species namely Evodia roxburghiana, Acacia mangium, Ilex cymosa, Eugenia pelyta, Macaranga triloba and Cratoxylon arborescens. The types of fire-retardant post-fires are Cratoxylon arborescens and Acacia mangium which have good morphological characteristics Roots are good with root systems deep within the soil and have considerable amounts of lateral roots. This study reveals that the root morphological characteristics of dominant plants have deep root system and considerable amount of lateral roots. Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the implementation of Educational functions of Green Campusin enhancing students’ scientific attitude on environmental education course. This research was a Descriptive Research. There were two study programs involved in it, namely Mathematic Education Study Program that consisted of 40 students, and Pancasilaand Civic Educationstudy Program which consisted of 37 students. The data of this research were taken from the analysis of questionnaire, observation, and interview. The result showed that there wasan enhancement of students’ scientific attitude. The highest enhancement of their scientific attitude can be seen from the following indicators sequentially:a)encouraging the curiosity is at 96.10%, b)prioritizing the proof and be skeptical is at 92.21%, c)can work togetheris at 81.82%, d)be positive towards failureis at 74.03%, and e) accepting differences is at 72.73%.The result of observation and Interview asserts that the students were very enthusiastic in understanding the environmental concepts and conservation efforts based on local culture.

Abstract

Abstract: There have been studies to determine the application of the learning model of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to the scientific attitude of students in learning biology class XI IPA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2013/2014. Research was conducted in May 2014 with a sample of students of class XI IPA 1 (control class) by the number of students 33 and XI IPA 4 (experiment class) by the number of students 32. The parameters used in the study of critical attitude, honest, open, conscientious and earnest. Collecting data using a scientific attitude observation sheet. Average scientific attitude in the experimental class was 84.39% in both categories, while the control class with 40.69% less category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are differences between the scientific attitude of students using the experimental class learning model PBL in the learning process in comparison with the control class learning using lecture and discussion.Key words: scientific attitudes, high school senior, problem-based learning

Abstract

The parameters observed were morphology of plant root of dominant sapling level (main root and lateral root). Data were analyzed descriptively-qualitative. The results of the observation were 6 dominant species of Sapling that were able to regrowrth after the fire, ie Evodia roxburghiana, Acacia mangium, Ilex cymosa, Eugenia pelyta, Macaranga triloba and Cratoxylon arborescens. Among the six species, the Cratoxylon arborescens and Acacia mangium were the species that have fairly good root morphological characteristics with deep root systems and considerable amounts of lateral roots. It can be concluded that deep root system with a sufficient number of lateral roots is a root morphological characteristic of the dominant plant sapling level following peat fires in Rimba Panjang. These characteristics can be utilized for the development of learning handout of Biology Science of SMP class VII on Environmental Pollution (KD 3.8) and Structure and Function of Grade VIII (KD 3.4). Testing the useful of handouts produced and the benefits of enriching student learning materials in a classical setting is highly recommended. Abstract

Abstract: Based on Observations of teaching biology at MTS as Nurul Hasanah STRONGHOLD I Sub Pekaitan Year 2014/2015, Lessons that every time there are symptoms of learning students are always backwards when process study underway, always ignoring anything that is submitted by the teacher, when in the host group activities, students do not want to work together in groups, smart students who do not want to interact with students who are weak. So that the interest of students in learning Biology still less. One way to improve student learning outcomes is by, using a model of learning, cooperative type STAD (Studet Team Achicvement Division) where learning is expected to attract the interest of students in learning Biology can developing self-reliance students, liveliness, discipline and courage of students students in expressing his opinion, so that student learning outcome increases. This research aims to improve the learning results of IPA students with the application of cooperative learning model of type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Class VII MTsNurul Hasanah Stronghold I Sub Pekaitan Year 2015/2016 Lessons. This research was conducted in March-April 2016. The subject of research is the grade VII MTsNurul Hasanah Stronghold I Sub Pekaitan amounted to 21 people. Parameters measured were the result of student learning that consists of absorption and learning students individually and activity of students. The average absorbance students in cycle I, namely 74.28 (good) and cycle II of the value increases to daily repeats is 80.00 (good). students can study in cycle I, namely 80.95% with an average score of 74.28 and cycle II increased to 95.24% with an average score of 80.00. Group Award at the cycle I, 5 group predicate excellent increases in cycle II, 1 Group 4 and group both predicate predicate excellent. Learning activities of students in cycle I, namely 80.20 (good) increased in cycle II became 88.69 (very good). From the results it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning Model of type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve the learning results of IPA Student Class VII MTs Nurul Hasanah Stronghold I Sub Pekaitan Year 2015/2016 Lessons.Key words: Cooperative Learning, Learning Outcomes, Kooperati type of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD)

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the manufacture of bioplastics based ondurian seed starch and produce module designs on biotechnology materials in class XIISMA. This research was conducted at the Biology Education Laboratory of FKIP andthe Chemistry Laboratory of FMIPA UNRI from April to August 2019. This researchwas carried out in 2 stages: the experimental stage: the making of bioplastics fromdurian seed starch and the module design stage: an analysis of the potential of moduledesign in class XII biotechnology material High school. This study used anexperimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5treatments and 3 replications. The parameter in this study is the absorption ofbioplastic water. Based on the results of Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) at 5% levelshowed the making of bioplastics based on durian seed starch with the addition ofgelatin can reduce the absorption of bioplastic water (13.49%)). Abstract

The obstacle faced in the learning process so far is the low interest in student learning. Many factors affect interest in learning, one of which is the lack of variety of teaching materials or learning media used by teachers in schools. The use of augmented reality (AR) in education is an important topic of research although its use is still in its infancy. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media, AR-based e-magazine to increase students' interest in learning high school students, on the material of the digestive system. The development of the e-magazine is carried out using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The parameters in this study are the quality of the e-magazine and interest in learning. Testing interest in learning is done using an interest questionnaire given to students for the control class consisting of 36 students and the experimental class consisting of 36 students. The results of the development of AR-based e-magazines are relatively good. This can be seen from the validation results with a very valid category. Based on the didactic aspect, a score of 3.82 was obtained in the very valid category, the constructive aspect was 3.85 in the very valid category and the technical aspect was 3.78 in the very valid category. The results showed that the use of AR-based e-magazines increased interest in learning. Interest in learning obtained a score of 0.342 in the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of AR-based e-magazines as digital learning media can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to determine the Litter Production of The Rumbio Traditional Forest Bans Kampar District in September and November 2014. Research results are used for developing interactive learning media material to the concept Ecosystem Biogeochemistry Recycling. This research was carried out by two phases: the measurement of litter production and development stage interactive learning media. Litter production research conducted by using stratified random sampling survey, where there are 3 topography that valley, sloping and hilly. Each topography consists of 3 Litter trap with a size of 1x1 meters and is taken from the litter Litter trap container every 2 weeks for 2 months of the study. The parameters observed dropping litter composition of leaves, twigs, flowers and fruits. At this stage of the development of interactive learning media, carried out using ADDIE models. The results showed that the production of forest litter Prohibition of Indigenous Rumbio 426.6767 gr / m2 / week. Results of the research have been developed as an interactive learning media in the biogeochemical cycle of matter in the High School Class X.Keywords: Litter, Litter Production, Media Interactive Learning
