Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui kadar lemak kolostrum sapi FH pada umur kolostrum yang berbeda yang dipelihara secara intensif di Peternakan Rakyat Koperasi Peternakan Sapi Perah (KPSP) yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Tutur, Nongkojajar, Kabupaten Pasuruan, Provinsi Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Materi yang digunakana dalam penelitian ini adalah kolostrum dari induk 37 sapi perah FH yang laktasi, sampel yang diambil meliputi hari pemerahan ke 1, ke 2, ke 3 dan ke 4 dengan waktu pemerahan pagi dan sore. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kadar lemak kolostrum sapi perah FH pada periode laktasi 1,2,3 dan 4 hasil pemerahan pagi berkisar antara 6,49 - 8,56%, sedangkan rataan kadar lemak hasil pemerahann sore berkisar antara 6,43 – 9,35%. Hubungan antara hari pemerahan dengan kadar lemak  kolostrum pagi sapi perah dari persamaan regresi Y= 9,217 + (-0,719)X dan persamaan regresi Y= 10,287 + (-0,822)X pada sore hari yang artinya setiap peningkatan 1 hari pemerahan, maka nilai kadar lemak menurun sebesar 0,719 pada pagi hari dan nilai kadar lemak menurun sebesar 0,822 pada sore hari. Sedangkan nilai koefisien relasi (r) pagi diperoleh 0,267 dan nilai koefisien relasi (r) sore diperoleh 0.325, menunjukan adanya hubungan positif yang rendah antara hari pemerahan dengan kadar lemak kolostrum pada pagi dan sore hari. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) pada pagi hari sebesar 7,1% dan 10,6% pada sore hari, artinya hari pemerahan berpengaruh hanya 7,1% (pagi) dan 10,6% (sore) terhadap kadar lemak kolostrum serta 92,9% (pagi) dan 89,4 % (sore) ditentukan oleh faktor lain.   Abstract This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the colostrum fat content of FH cows at different ages of colostrum that were intensively reared at the Dairy Cattle Farming Cooperative People's Farm (KPSP) located in Tutur District, Nongkojajar, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. The material used in this study was colostrum from 37 lactating FH dairy cows. The samples taken included the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th day of milking with morning and afternoon milking. The research data was analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study showed that the average fat content of colostrum of FH dairy cows in the lactation period of 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the morning milking ranged from 6.49–8.56%, while the average fat content in the afternoon milking ranged from 6.43–9.35%. The relationship between the day of milking and the fat content of colostrum in the morning of dairy cows from the regression equation Y = 9,217 + (-0,719)X and the regression equation Y = 10,287 + (-0,822)X in the afternoon, which means that for every 1 day increase in milking, the fat content value decreased by 0.719 in the morning and the value of fat content decreased by 0.822 in the afternoon. The value of the correlation coefficient (r) in the morning was 0.267 and the value of the relation coefficient (r) in the afternoon was 0.325, indicating a low positive relationship between milking days and colostrum fat levels in the morning and evening. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) in the morning is 7.1% and 10.6% in the afternoon, meaning that the day of milking only affects 7.1% (morning) and 10.6% (evening) of colostrum fat content and 92.9% (morning) and 89.4% (afternoon) were determined by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the concentration of lactose, fat, and protein in FH cow's milk at the beginning of lactation which is intensively reared at the People's Farm of the Dairy Cattle Farming Cooperative (KPSP) located in Tutur District, Nongkojajar, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. The research material used was fresh milk from lactating dairy cows. The research method used is laboratory analysis with purposive sampling technique. FH dairy cows that were in 3rd lactation period was taken as samples on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd milking days in the morning and evening milking times. Data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed that the average fat concentration of FH cow's milk in the morning milking was 4.23±0.68%, while in the afternoon milking was 4.99±0.65%. The average lactose concentration in the morning milk was 4.10±0.66%, while in the afternoon milk was 4.48±0.71%. The average protein concentration in the morning milking was 3.23±0.94%, while in the afternoon milking was 3.32 ±0.65%. This study concluded that the high concentration of fat, lactose, and protein in the afternoon milking was caused by the shorter time interval between morning and evening milking than the afternoon to morning milking time.The concentration of fat, lactose, and protein in FH cow's milk, which is higher than the SNI standard, is due to several factors including environmental, nutritional, climatological, and managerial factors. The factors are inseparable from each other in influencing milk quality.The quality of fresh milk produced by the Dairy Cow Farming Cooperative People's Farm (KPSP) located in Tutur District, Nongkojajar, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia is in good condition, safe, and suitable for consumption as milk quality standards meet SNI No. 01-3141.1-2011.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the dairy farming in Dairy Cattle Cooperation Setia Kawan Wonosari Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regancy. The objective of this research was to analyze the correlation between colostrum age and lactation period with colostrum production on Friesian Holstein. The material used is 30 Friesian Holstein which are lactation, both the first lactation period to the third lactation period. The method used was the case study method and the data was collected data by direct observation of dairy cows. Data analyzed using regression analysis and correlation. The results show that the correlation between colostrum age and colostrum production has a regression the equation is Y = 9.8+0.75X, where r = 0.516 and R2 = 0.266 and the lactation period with colostrum production has a regression equation that is Y = 11.35+0.16X with r = 0.086 and R2 = 0.007. The average highest colostrum production in dairy cows was on the fourth day (12.61 ± 1.29 liters/head/day) and the highest colostrum production was in the third lactation (11.80 ± 1.68 liters/head/day). Based on these results it can be concluded that colostrum ages with colostrum production has a moderate positive correlation, while the lactation period with colostrum production has a very low positive correlation. Keywords : Lactation period, colostrum production, pregnant cow, friesian Holstein

Abstract

Colostrum is the secretion of the udder glands after the cow gives birth and is given to the calf for 3-5 days. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the lactation period and colostrum age on the colostrum protein content of FH dairy cows. This research was conducted at KPSP Setia Kawan, Pasuruan. The research was conducted in August-November 2022. The research materials were FH dairy cows with lactation periods 1,2,3, and cow colostrum which were analyzed with the Lactoscan Milk Analyzer. The research method uses case study method and purposive sampling. Research using simple linear regression analysis and correlation. The results of the regression equation study the relationship between the lactation period and colostrum protein content, namely Y =5.22+0.46X with a correlation value (r)=0.158 and a coefficient of determination (R2)=0.025. The results of the regression equation for the relationship between colostrum age and colosrum protein content are Y=10.79-1.55X with a correlation value (r)=0.88 and a coefficient of determination (R2)=0.77. The conclusion of the study is that there is a positive relationship between the lactation period and colostrum protein and there is a negative relationship between colostrum age and colostrum protein. Keywords : FH dairy cattle, colostrum, lactation period, colostrum protein.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pakan berbahan baku jerami jagung dapat dilakukan dengan pengolahan menggunakan teknologi fermentasi menggunakan kapang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas jerami jagung yang telah diberikan perlakuan fermentasi dengan menggunakan Aspergillus niger. Materi pada penelitian ini menggunakan jerami jagung dan Aspergillus niger. Percobaan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap. Berdasarkan perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu P0 (kontrol), P1 (Aspergillus niger 105 CFU per gram bahan segar), P2 (Aspergillus niger 106 CFU per gram bahan segar) dan P3 (Aspergillus niger 107 CFU per gram bahan segar). Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa perlakuan pemberian Aspergillus niger memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan secara nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kadar BO, SK, NDF, ADF, selulosa, BETN, serta kecernaan BK dan BO, sedangkan perlakuan tersebut memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kandungan BK jerami jagung. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, jumlah penambahan  Aspergillus niger 107 per gram bahan segar dalam fermentasi jerami jagung memberikan hasil yang paling baik terhadap kualitas pakan yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

 The production of dairy cow milk is a vital aspect in the livestock industry that requires a profound understanding of the factors influencing the quantity and quality of the produced milk. This study aims to compile a comprehensive literature review related to the factors affecting the production of dairy cow milk. Factors influencing the production of dairy cow milk include Genetics, Feed and Nutrition, Health Management, Environmental Conditions, Reproduction Management, Maintenance Management, and Technology Utilization. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the udder washing temperature in the milking process and the amount of production and fat content of FHB cow's milk produced. The material used in this study were FHB dairy cows for the 2-4 lactation period and 3-4 lactation months with a total of 30 heads which were divided into 2 udder washing water temperatures, namely water temperature 19-23oC and 38oC. The method used in this research is observation and data collection using purposive sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed using the correlation test method. The results of the research that has been done show that the average milk production at udder washing water temperatures of 19 – 23oC is 13.56 ± 5.01 Kg/day and at 38oC udder washing water temperatures is 11.2 ± 5.33 Kg/day while for the average fat content at udder washing water temperature of 19 – 23oC was 4.34 ± 0.71% and at 38oC udder washing water temperature was 4.21 ± 0.73%. The correlation coefficient between udder washing water temperature and milk production has a value of -0.03 with a very weak and negative correlation, while the correlation coefficient between udder washing water temperature and milk fat content has a value of -0.0002 with a correlation value that is too small or not correlated.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi suhu pencucian ambing pada proses pemerahan terhadap jumlah produksi dan kadar lemak susu sapi PFH yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan Kecamatan Ngantang Kabupaten Malang pada bulan Januari 2023. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sapi perah PFH periode laktasi 2 – 4 dengan bulan laktasi 3 – 4 dengan total 30 ekor yang terbagi ke dalam 2 perlakuan suhu air pencucian ambing yaitu suhu air 19 – 23oC dan 38oC. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengamatan dan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa rata – rata produksi susu pada suhu air pencucian ambing 19 – 23oC sebesar 13,56±5,01 Kg/hari dan pada suhu air pencucian ambing 38oC sebesar 11,2±5,33 Kg/hari sementara untuk rata – rata kadar lemak pada suhu air pencucian ambing 19 – 23oC sebesar 4,34±0,71% dan pada suhu air pencucian ambing 38oC sebesar 4,21±0,73%. Koefisien korelasi antara suhu air pencucian ambing terhadap produksi susu memiliki nilai -0,03 dengan korelasi sangat lemah dan negatif sementara koefisien korelasi antara suhu air pencucian ambing dengan kadar lemak susu memiliki nilai -0,0002 dengan nilai korelasi tidak berkorelasi.
