Abstract

Sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal dipandang memiliki kualitas yang baik apabila sekolah mampu memenuhi standar nasional dan sekolah mampu meluluskan 100% siswanya dengan nilai ujian nasional yang baik dan diatas rata-rata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Magetan dalam pemenuhan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP), ketuntasan belajar berbasis nilai UN, buku ajar siswa, dan pembelajaran biologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah survey, index interview, angket dan dokumentasi dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemenuhan Standar Nasional Pendidikan terdapat tiga komponen yang memiliki GAP yang tinggi, yaitu Standar 4 (Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan) dengan GAP 3,71%, Standar 8 (Standar Penilaian) dengan GAP 3,25%, dan Standar 2 (Standar Proses) dengan GAP 3,25%. Terdapat 5 butir soal pada UN yang penguasaan ≤ 5,5 dengan kelulusan siswa 100%. Rata-rata nilai UN mata pelajaran Biologi di tingkat sekolah 7,05 sedangkan ditingkat kota/kabupaten 7,26 dan provinsi 7,24.Analisis buku ajar menunjukkan belum tercapainya buku siswa dari segi sistematika penulisan selisih 37%, uraian materi dengan selisih 28%, proses dan hasil belajar dengan selisih 25%. Analisis pembelajaran biologi yang kurang maksimal akibat kurangnya kreatifitas dalam mengemas pembelajaran sehingga siswa tidak terfokus, bermain sendiri, suasana kelas tidak kondusif, terkesan monoton.

Abstract

Issues about fulfilling needs of highly able students have been discussed since some years ago. Most highly able students along with their outstanding potential are considered as important aspects of a country’s bright future. Their innate gifts which are outstanding need to be nurtured appropriately in order to meet success in their future life. Providing positively supporting environment is essential for them (Tomlinson, 1996). It is inevitable that those highly able students spend most of their time at schools. The support or provision for highly able students is generally far from enough since it is usually given by schools in terms of highly able counselors or learning support for highly able students (Waters et al, 2003). Hardly do schools provide highly able students with challenges within the subjects or curriculum enrichment. Meanwhile, possibility to adjust curriculum by using differentiated teaching approach in order to meet their need is possible. In this paper, I analytically describe the reasons or justification of giving special supports to highly able students in general mixed classrooms. Some components on how to adjust curriculum to meet or fulfill highly able students’ needs are also revealed. This differentiated teaching approach, even though mostly intended to support highly able students, is also beneficial for other students in the classrooms.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role relationship among the teacher and the students of SMAN 4 Semarang Year XII and the way the teacher negotiate her interpersonal meaning to the students. The design of the research was a discourse analysis concerning on the analysis of mood suggested by Susan Eggins. A transcript of the teacher and students interaction was taken as the main source of data. I analyzed the data by using Mood Analysis suggested by Eggins.The results showed that most of the utterances produced by the teacher were in the form of command which means that the authority of the teacher was dominant. Besides, the teacher also tried to be equal with the students by using some declarative and interrogative types of Mood. These made the students respond well but not really elaborated her/his responses. Familiarity in implementing Subject, Finite, and Modality was the main reason due to the problem of Interpersonal Meaning Negotiation. This leads me to suggest that in the foreign language (FL) context lexico-grammar cannot be taken for granted. FL learners need to notice the grammar and eventually acquire it. This can happen if the learning process encourages focus on form. This point should be the focus of teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of a quasi-experimental research aimed to find out whether  Musixmatch and Team Pair Solo technique are effective for teaching narrative writing. There were 69 tenth grade students of a senior high school in Brebes, Central Java participating in this research. They were categorized into two groups named experimental and control group. To make it easier to understand, the result of this study is presented in the form of statistical data. The analysis result of the research showed that the use of Musixmatch and Team Pair Solo technique are more effective than the use of lecturing method for teaching narrative writing. This is shown by the post-test scores of the both groups, which was 81.74 for the experimental group and 77.00 for the control group. Furthermore, the result of Sig. (2-tailed) of T-test, which was 0.000,proved that there was a difference between students who were taught by using Musixmatch and Team Pair Solo technique and those who were taught by lecturing method.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat efektifitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD). Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menggali upaya – upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan PAD Kota Malang. Data penelitian ini adalah semua unsur yang terdapat di dalam PAD  dalam kurun waktu 5 (lima) tahun terakhir, yaitu 2009 – 2013 yang dilakukan di Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Kota Malang dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kuanlitatif berupa angka – angka yang terkait dengan PAD, sumber data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Pemkot Kota Malang. Variabel pengukurannya yaitu tingkat efektifitas dan efisiensi PAD, selanjutnya diolah menggunakan teknik  analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Penerimaan PAD selama kurun waktu 5 (lima) tahun terakhir yaitu 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 dan 2013 adalah fluktuatif dan belum optimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena (1) belum realistisnya di dalam penentuan target PAD (2) masih tingginya tingkat kebocoran dan kelolosan (3) Sistem penentuan target yang didasarkan pada data historis (4) Belum efektifnya pemberlakuan sangsi (5) Pelayanan operasional di lapang masih belum dilaksanakan secara prima (6) Terbatasnya sumberdaya pelaksana operasional di lapangan (7) Adanya birokrasi dalam pelayanan pemungutan Pajak dan Retribusi (8 ) Kurangnya sarana dan prasarana untuk operasional di lapang (9) Belum efektifnya sistem pengendalian dan pengawasan di lapang dan (10) Belum dimilikinya data dasar mengenai potensi sumber penerimaan. Dalam upaya meningkatkan penerimaan pendapatan asli daerah dan mengatasi masalah tersebut pada dasarnya ditempuh melalui upaya intensifikasi dan ekstensifikasi.

Abstract

AbstractCurrently, Indonesias health development began to emphasize on improving the quality of health care, where service quality should be oriented to customer satisfaction in order to continue to exist in the midst of global competition. Pharmacy Unit at X Hospital Jakarta is one of the medical support required to deliver a quality service that oriented to patient satisfaction.This research is descriptive study using primary data that obtained from the questionnaire that distributed to 400 patients at Outpatient Pharmacy, which in Outpatient Pharmacy for the patient who secured by insurance (A and B) and Cash (F). The category of patients at Outpatient Pharmacy are patient that secured by corporate, corporate pensioner in Jabodetabek, patient that secured by other insurance and cash patient. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling, the quota sampling. The level of satisfaction of patients seen by SERVQUAL method in five dimensions, that is responsiveness, empathy, reliability, assurance and tangible, as well as mapping the dimensions of service quality and its attributes in a Cartesian Diagram.In general, patients are not satisfied with the performance of Outpatient Pharmacy at X Hospital Jakarta. The results on the whole respondents for the gap between patients expectation and Outpatient Pharmacy X Hospitals’ performance is negative. The sequence of the biggest negative gap felt in responsiveness (-0.7100), empathy (-0.6550), reliability (-0.5800), assurance (-0.4975) and tangible (-0.4200). The sequence of the greatest dissatisfaction felt by corporate pensioner in Jabodetabek (30.59%), cash patients (29.08%), patient that secured by other insurance (22.22%) and patient that secured by corporate (18.11%). The sequence of the biggest dissatisfaction perceived by the patient for services in Outpatient Pharmacy F (37.49%), Outpatient Pharmacy A (32.47%) and Outpatient Pharmacy B (30.04%). Based on the mapping of Cartesian Diagram, Outpatient Pharmacy at X Hospital Jakarta should pay more attention to the dimensions of responsiveness, especially regarding speed of service and providing more crew at peak hours. Keywords: Quality of Service, Satisfaction, SERVQUAL, Cartesian Diagram

Abstract

Abstrak.Proses pembelajaran merupakan suatu proses yang mengandung serangkaian pelaksanaan oleh guru dan peserta didik atas dasar hubungan timbal-balik yang berlangsung dalam situasi edukatif untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Interaksi timbal balik antara guru dan peserta didik ini merupakan syarat utama bagi berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang bisa dilakukan untuk memotivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu Think PairShare(TPS) melalui pemberian tugas Guided Questions System (GQS). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikanpenerapan model pembelajaran TPSdengan pemberian GQS dalam meningkatkan  motivasidan hasil belajar siswa. Design penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jumlah sampel 38 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan sedangkan analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama siswa yang tuntas belajar berjumlah 74%, dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 89% pada siklus ke dua. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan sebesar 15% dari tindakan pemberian model pembelajaran TPS melalui pemberian GQS.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran TPS melalui metode GQS terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.  Kata kunci:Think Pair Share, Guided Question System, Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Pelayanan antenatal care merupakan pelayanan kesehatan oleh tenaga kesehatan untuk ibu selama masa kehamilannya sampai masa melakukan persalinan, yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan standar pelayanan antenatal yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pelayanan antenatal care di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Siniu Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study dimana data yang menyangkut data variabel independen dan variabel dependen akan dikumpulkan dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 53 orang ibu hamil diperoleh dari hasil penghitungan dengan menggunakan rumus penentuan sampel dari 111 populasi ibu hamil yang terdaftar di Puskesmas Siniu Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara sikap bidan dengan nilai p = 0.11 (p < 0.05) dan standar pelayanan ANC dengan nilai p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), dengan pelayanan ANC ibu hamil di Puskesmas Siniu Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah didapatkan ada hubungan kedua variabel independen (sikap bidan dan standar pelayanan ANC) dengan variabel dependen (pelayanan ANC). Ditujukan bagi pihak Puskesmas agar selalu meningkatkan sosialisasi melalui penyuluhan tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan kehamilan di pelayanan kesehatan dengan tujuan menurunkan angka kematian ibu dan bayi setiap tahunnya.
