Abstract

Kenakalan remaja merupakan perilaku agresif dan menyimpang dari norma masyarakat dan norma hukum yang dilakukan oleh remaja serta berdampak kerugian pada remaja itu sendiri atau orang lain, dari segi fisik maupun psikologis. Religiusitas adalah keadaan diri seseorang yang membuat seseorang tersebut dapat berperilaku, bertindak dan bersikap baik terhadap aturan-aturan dan norma-norma yang sesuai ajaran agama. Keberfungsian keluarga terdiri dari enam dimensi diantaranya yaitu: pemecahan masalah, komunikasi, peran, kemampuan untuk bereaksi, keterlibatan efektif, serta kontrol perilaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keberfungsian keluarga dan religiusitas terhadap kenakalan pada remaja SMPN 2 Kerinci Kanan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa remaja SMPN 2 Kerinci Kanan. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 161 orang.Teknik pengambilan sampel random sampling dengan kesalahan 5%. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari analisis regresi diperoleh F sebesar 35.410 dengan p 0.000 (p < 0.01) yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara keberfungsian keluarga dan religiusitas dengan kenakalan remaja SMPN 2 Kerinci Kanan. Sumbangan efektif R2 (R Square) yang diberikan variabel keberfungsian keluarga dan religiusitas terhadap kenakalan remaja adalah 31.0%.

Abstract

Pengajaran klasikal oleh guru kurang efektif bagi sebagian besar siswa sehingga perlu dicarikan metode pengajaran yang tepat, efektif dan efisien.yang lebih menekankan pada aktivita belajar siswa dan bukan pada aktifitas mengajar guru. Pengajaran Remedial Tutor Sebaya Model Kategori Kelas pada materi Limit diterapkan untuk memperbaiki hasil belajar yang rendah dan ketuntasan belajar yang belum tercapai di kelas XI IPS SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Wuluhan. Dalam penelitian Tindakan kelas ini siswa dikelompokkan berdasarkan kategori hasil belajarnya. Kelompok I dengan interval nilai 0 – 24, kelompok II nilai 25 – 49, kelompok III nilai 50 -74, kelompok IV  nilai 75 – 100. Anggota kelompok IV akan menjadi tutor bagi kelompok di bawahnya. Setiap siswa bisa berpindah kelompok sesuai dengan peningkatan prestasi belajarnya. Hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Siswa juga termotivasi untuk bisa berpindah ke kelompok di atasnya dengan meningkatkan kemampuannya.Kata Kunci: Tutor Sebaya

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to investigate vitamin A and protein contentsin eel (Monopterus albus) meat balls. Theeel meat balls were made byaspecial addition of tapioca30%, 40%, 50% and 60% of thetotal weight of eel meat. Hedonic test was conducted in order to find the levels of panellist preferences. Friedman test wasemployedto find the effect of tapioca addition on colour, flavour, texture and taste. The content of vitamin A was analysedusing HPLCmethodand proteincontentusing Micro Kjeldahl method. The result revealed that the variation of tapioca addition gavenosignificanteffect on colour performance with the significance level of 1.0. However, it gave significant effect on flavour, texture and taste preferences with the significance level of <0.05. It wasfound that the most favourite eel meat balls was the one with tapioca addition of 50% of the eel meat weight. The average of vitamin A contentwas 2,215.95mg/100 gand protein is 7.2896 mg/100 g on the most favourite eel meat balls.

Abstract

Turmeric is a spice plants that acts as an antibacterial, because it contains a variety of compounds including curcumin and essential oil. Essential oils can be used as an antibacterial because it contains hydroxyl and carbonyl functional group which is phenols derivative. Te phenol derivatives will interact with the bacterial cell wall, then absorbed and penetrated into the bacterial cell, causing precipitation and denaturation of proteins, the result will lyse the bacterial cell membrane, while the antibacterial activity of curcuminis by inhibiting bacterial cell proliferation. Turmeric has launched a pharmacological effect, lowering the fat content, asthma , hepatitis , anti- gall , anti- inflammatory , anti- diarrhea , and act as anti-inflammatory or anti-inflammatory. Turmeric has antibacterial properties of curcumin and essential oil that is capable of inhibiting the growth of bacteria that causes diarrhea and Shigelladysenteriae Bacillus sp. Tis study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of turmeric extract on the growth of Bacillus sp and Shigella dysenteriae, with various concentrations of 15%, 30%, 50%, 75%, and 100% by the well diffusion method. Based on theinhibition zone measurement of bacteria Bacillus sp and Shigella dysenteriaethe results were weak category, for the bacteria Bacillus sp with a concentration of 15 % , 30 % , 50 % , 75 % , and 100 % with a diameter of 11 ; 12.3 ; 13 , 3 ; 13.7 ; 14.7 mm, while for the bacteria Shigella dysenteriae with the same concentration has a diameter of 10.3 ; 11.7 ; 12.3 ; 13.3 , and 14.7 mm. Te conclusion of the study is that the antibacterial activity of turmeric extract is more effective against the bacteria Bacillus spthan against bacteria Shigella dysenteriae, although the difference was not signifcant.

Abstract

Honey is one of the traditional medicine that can be used in the community for wound treatment since centuries ago. Honey has an antibacterial effect, due to its high osmolarity , hydrogen peroxide content, low pH and low activity. The pH of honey is acidic (ranges about 3.2-4.5), inhibits the metabolism of Gram negative and positive bacteria, in consequence would be bacterial metabolism inhibition. This condition would lead to bacterial lysis. Honey can be used as wound treatment, controls blood sugar in diabetes patient`s, antioxidants, prevents inflammation outer layer surrounding the mouth of the laser beam treatment of cancer patients, treats gastrointestinal inflammation, as well as the material beauty products, hair and skin. This study was conducted to determine the comparative effectiveness of honey solution on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosae with various concentrations of 105 ppm, 106 ppm , 5x106 ppm , 107 ppm , and 108 ppm by well diffusion method. According to the MIC result on S .aureus, its is included in weak category, with an average diameter 6.5 mm , 10.5 mm, 12 mm, and 14.7 mm on 106 ppm, 5x106 ppm, 107 ppm, and 108 ppm, respectively. Based on the MIC result on Pseudomonas aeruginosae, it also included in weak category, with an average diameter 6 mm , 8.5 um , 9.5 mm, 10.5 mm on 106 ppm, 5x106 ppm on 106 ppm, 5x106 ppm, 107 ppm, and 108 ppm, respectively. This study concluded that antibacterial from honey solution is more effective against Staphylococcus aureus than Pseudomonas aeruginosae, although there are no significantly difference.

Abstract

Decline in cognitive function in the elderly is not considered reasonable, and can be inhibited with brain gym activity.The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of brain exercise on cognitive function in the elderly in RT 03 RW 01 Tandes Village. Design of this study Pre-Experiment with one grop pre post test,the population are from ten of elderly aged 60-74 years. Sampling by simple random sampling, gained 6 people. The independent variable is the gymnastics of the brain and the dependent variable is a function cognitive. The data colledted by using the MMSE tabulation of data editing, coding, processing, celaning, tabulating and analyzed by Wilcoxon Sign Rank with α = 0.05. The results showed that prior to the brain gym majority (66.7%) had moderate cognitive impairment after brain gym majority (66.7%) are not impaired cognitive function. After the Wilcoxon signed rank test obtained value ρ = 0.014 <α = 0.05 so that H0 is rejected, it means that there is the influence of brain exercise on cognitive function in the elderly. Conclusions from this research is the brain exercises can improve cognitive function in the elderly in RT 03 RW 01 Tandes village. Brain gym should be applied in Posyandu every 3 times a week as more routine brain exercise in the elderly, then cognitive function will be increased, then can make the decline in function cognitive slowly.

Abstract

Fenomena yang terjadi saat ini di Unit Luka Bakar Rumah Sakit Swasta X Jakarta , terapi dengan pemberian  MEBO untuk perawatan luka bakar masih merupakan hal baru. Dimana sebelumnya perawatan luka menggunakan terapi BURNAZINE. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efektifitas antara pemberian terapi dengan BURNAZINE dan MEBO pada pasien Luka Bakar dengan menentukan lama hari rawat dan biaya obatnya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif komparatif kuantitatif observasional dengan pendekatan retrospektif, yaitu membandingkan kelompok pasien luka bakar yang diberikan terapi burnazine dan terapi mebo terhadap lama hari rawat dan biaya obat. Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat untuk melihat distribusi frekuensi variabel penelitian dan analisis bivariat untuk melihat apakah ada perbedaan yang menggunakan terapi Burnazine dengan terapi Mebo terhadap  lama hari rawat dan biaya obat  dalam perawatan luka bakar grade II di unit perawatan luka bakar. Untuk analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statitik T test beda dua mean.Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rata rata pasien yang menggunakan terapi Burnazine 34,00 hari dengan standard deviasi 23,08 dan pasien yang menggunakan terapi Mebo 19,40 hari dengan standard deviasi 8,27, dan hasil uji statistik diperoleh  nilai p-value = 0,03, yang bearti lebih kecil dari alpha 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan lama hari rawat antara pasien yang mengunakan terapi Burnazine dan terapi Mebo.Selanjutnya dari biaya obat diperoleh nilai rata rata biaya obat untuk pasien dengan terapi Burnazine adalah Rp. 5,693,241 dengan standard deviasi Rp. 4,110,873. Dan  rata- rata biaya obat untuk pasien dengan terapi Mebo adalah Rp. 4,923,790 dengan standard deviasi sebesar Rp. 3,264,463, dan  hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa nilai P-value = 0,575, berarti lebih besar dari alpha 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa,  biaya obat pasien dengan terapi burnazine tidak berbeda nyata dengan biaya obat pasien dengan terapi mebo.Dengan demikian dapat disarankan kepada Unit pelayanan yang menangani Luka Bakar bahwa,  dalam perawatan luka bakar dapat menggunakan terapi Mebo dengan pertimbangan hari rawat lebih singkat dan biaya obat yang relatif tidak berbeda dari terapi burnazine.

Abstract

Issues about fulfilling needs of highly able students have been discussed since some years ago. Most highly able students along with their outstanding potential are considered as important aspects of a country’s bright future. Their innate gifts which are outstanding need to be nurtured appropriately in order to meet success in their future life. Providing positively supporting environment is essential for them (Tomlinson, 1996). It is inevitable that those highly able students spend most of their time at schools. The support or provision for highly able students is generally far from enough since it is usually given by schools in terms of highly able counselors or learning support for highly able students (Waters et al, 2003). Hardly do schools provide highly able students with challenges within the subjects or curriculum enrichment. Meanwhile, possibility to adjust curriculum by using differentiated teaching approach in order to meet their need is possible. In this paper, I analytically describe the reasons or justification of giving special supports to highly able students in general mixed classrooms. Some components on how to adjust curriculum to meet or fulfill highly able students’ needs are also revealed. This differentiated teaching approach, even though mostly intended to support highly able students, is also beneficial for other students in the classrooms.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of a quasi-experimental research aimed to find out whether  Musixmatch and Team Pair Solo technique are effective for teaching narrative writing. There were 69 tenth grade students of a senior high school in Brebes, Central Java participating in this research. They were categorized into two groups named experimental and control group. To make it easier to understand, the result of this study is presented in the form of statistical data. The analysis result of the research showed that the use of Musixmatch and Team Pair Solo technique are more effective than the use of lecturing method for teaching narrative writing. This is shown by the post-test scores of the both groups, which was 81.74 for the experimental group and 77.00 for the control group. Furthermore, the result of Sig. (2-tailed) of T-test, which was 0.000,proved that there was a difference between students who were taught by using Musixmatch and Team Pair Solo technique and those who were taught by lecturing method.

Abstract

Environmental education provides opportunity to joyful learning with integrate ofeducational contents and entertainment activities. Understanding environmentaleducation is greatly helped by the existence of new technology waves. Fast-movinginnovation of new technology waves is digitalization. That is called the fourth industrial revolution. One of them is Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. AI knowledge and innovation systems have made promising help students to realize that it can be increase respect for oneself and others, express feelings and opinions, and build logical thinking about science, mathematics, computer, etc. This paper build based on elementary school student experiment in Surakarta about how to understand digital technology based on AI and environment. This study is ethnography and qualitative research. As a data collection instrument, the study uses an assesment consisting of observation and questionnaire. This paper reports on 1) creating ideas resources, 2) learning educational contents and entertainment activities, 3) understanding feedback interaction, and 4) evaluating the challenges. The end of this paper shows that AI is very helpful in environmental education for elementary school students.
