Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kemampuan guru IPS Sekolah Menengah Pertama Kota Bandung dalam membuat alat ukur hasil belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur bentuk tes lebih dominan digunakan dibandingkan bentuk non tes, baik pada Ulangan Harian, Ujian Tengah Semester (UTS) maupun Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS). Selain itu, hanya sebagian kecil responden guru yang membuat soal dengan mengacu pada kisi-kisi, bahkan ada guru yang tidak membuat kisi-kisi. Alat ukur tes yang dibuat pun tidak melalui tahap uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Responden guru belum menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas dalam pengembangan alat ukur hasil belajar peserta didik. Peneliti merekomendasikan kepada semua pihak terkait untuk melakukan peningkatan, pembiasaan dan pengawasan terhadap guru untuk membuat alat ukur hasil belajar, khususnya bagi guru-guru IPS.Abstract:This study aimed to analyze the ability of the Social Studies Teachers of Junior High School of Bandung city in creating instruments to measure the students’ learning outcomes. This research used survey method. The result of this study showed that the test form was more dominant than non-test forms, both on Daily Tests and Middle or Final Semester Exams. In addition,  only a few teachers made questions referring to the question framework, and several teachers did not even use it. The instrument also did not pass the validity and reliability test. Teachers had not indicated the quality improvement in developing instrument to measure the students’ learning outcomes. Researcher recommended to all relevant parties to improve, habituate and supervise teachers to make learning outcome instruments, especially for Social Studies teachers.

Abstract

Geography is one of the oldest branch in natural sciences but people's understanding is still low. This is also evidenced by the results of the national geography examination (UN) of students which are still relatively low compared to the national average. This study aims to determine the learning interest and geography learning difficulties of public high school students in Bangka Regency. This research is quantitative descriptive. The research respondents were all geography teachers in all public high school and 214 students grade XII in 2018. The data collection techniques used were documentation and questionnaires. Documentation is used to obtain data on the number of students who choose geography specialization subjects in 2018 National Examination. Questionnaires are used to obtain data on geography material that is considered difficult by students. In addition, questionnaires are also used to obtain data about material that is difficult and easy to teach by teachers to students. The results showed that the geography learning interest of social studies students in grade XII of the public high school in Bangka Regency was very low. 22.22% of students' interest in geography subjects has been categorized as high, 11.11% are moderate, and 66.67% are very low. Students believe geography material covers very wide area so that they feel very hard to be understood. So that geography teachers better implementing several media and appropriate learning method in order to improve understanding among students.Geografi merupakan salah satu ilmu pengetahuan yang berumur tua namun pemahaman masyarakat masih rendah. Hal ini juga dibuktikan dengan hasil Ujian Nasional (UN) geografi siswa masih tergolong rendah dibandingkan dengan rata-rata nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat belajar dan kesulitan belajar geografi siswa SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten Bangka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Responden penelitian yaitu seluruh guru geografi di SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Bangka dan 214 siswa kelas XII IPS di SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Bangka. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah dokumentasi dan angket. Dokumentasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data mengenai jumlah siswa yang memilih mata pelajaran peminatan geografi dalam UNBK tahun 2018. Angket digunakan untuk memperoleh data mengenai materi geografi yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa. Selain itu angket juga digunakan untuk memperoleh data mengenai materi yang sulit dan mudah diajarkan oleh guru kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 214 responden hanya 42 siswa yang menyatakan tertarik dengan pembelajaran geografi. Rata-rata siswa menganggap materi geografi terlalu luas dan sulit untuk dipelajari secara mendalam. Berikut ini materi geografi yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa; Sistem Informasi Geografis, Penginderaan Jauh, Materi yang berhubungan dengan hitungan (skala, jarak, demografi), Litosfer, Geosfer, dan Tatasurya. Materi yang sulit dijelaskan guru kepada siswa adalah; Penginderaan jauh, Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG) dan Dasar-dasar geografi. Abstract

The teacher's ability to construct assessment instruments is a focus that needs to be considered. Furthermore, the demand of the 21st century directs teachers to set questions that are oriented to train students' abilities in higher-order thinking. However, several factors affect the ability to construct HOTS-oriented assessment instruments. This study aims to investigate what factors influence geography teachers’ ability to develop higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) instruments to measure learning outcomes. This study used a survey method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was field observation, and multiple linear regression was used for analysis. The results showed the linearity of teacher education regarding the length of teaching geography was 0.904, the tertiary institution was 0.009, and the background of education was 0.019. Also, teachers' certification was 0.007, their training was 0.032, and their experience in making HOTS questions was 0.047. The coefficient value of determination R, namely 0.635 means the relationship between teaching length, the linearity of their education in tertiary institutions, background, certification, training, and experience regarding the ability to develop HOTS-oriented assessment instruments is 63.5%. This means the relationship is strong, and 36.5% is another factor. This study concludes that the factors that significantly affect the ability of geography teachers in developing HOTS-oriented assessment instruments are the linearity factor of teacher education in universities, education background, certification, teacher training and experience in making HOTS questions. Abstract

Lokasi sekolah mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Sekolah yang terletak di desa dan di kota memiliki hasil belajar yang berbeda. Sekolah yang terletak di kota memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada sekolah yang terletak di desa (Musa, 2013; Owoeye dan Yara, 2011). Selain itu, penelitian Olurotimi, dkk (2013) melaporkan bahwa ada perbedaan efektifitas mengajar guru di desa dan di kota sehingga mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu pengukuran hasil belajar yang dilakukan pemerintah Indonesia adalah dengan Ujian Nasional (UN). Geografi merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran peminatan yang diikut sertakan dalam UN. Berdasarkan penilaian Puspendik, hasil UN Geografi di Kabupaten Bangka tahun 2017 tergolong dalam kategori sedang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskritif. Sampel penelitian yaitu seluruh SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bangka. Alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Ada hubungan positif antara lokasi sekolah terhadap hasil UN geografi siswa SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten Bangka Tahun 2017, (2) Tidak ada hubungan positif antara lokasi sekolah terhadap metode mengajar guru geografi SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten Bangka Tahun 2017, (3) Tidak ada hubungan positif antara metode mengajar guru terhadap hasil UN geografi siswa SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten Bangka Tahun 2017.

Abstract

Gempa bumi adalah getaran bumi yang berdampak destruktif bagi manusia. Oleh karena itu, belajar dari pengalaman yang telah memberikan wawasan yang berguna terhadap masalah-masalah yang disebabkan oleh ancaman gempa bumi. Maka sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan kegempaan masyarakat yang didasarkan pada kearifan lokal, dilakukan di pulau Lombok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah paradigma kualitatif dengan dua tahapan, yakni tahapan analisis hermeneutik dan fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Lombok dari pengalaman gempa di masa lalu yang dialami oleh nenek moyangnya telah mendapatkan transfer pengetahuan berupa kearifan lokal yang dipelihara secara turun temurun yakni berupa sesengak betegel eleq sabuk belo. Kesimpulannya bahwa masyarakat terdahulu sebenarnya telah memiliki pengetahuan-pengetahuan berupa kearifan lokal yang dijaga dan diwariskan kepada generasi muda dan saluran yang bisa digunakan melalui pendidikan khususnya pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.

Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru adalah kemampuan dalammenilai hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan kurikulum 2013, penilaian autentik merupakanpenilaian yang sangat tepat untuk menilai hasil belajar peserta didik. Tujuan utama dalampenelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah pemahaman guru geografi terhadapkonsep dan pelaksanaan penilaian autentik di SMA Negeri Pulau Buton. Metode penelitianyang digunakan adalah metode survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secarakeseluruhan pemahaman guru geografi terhadap konsep penilaian autentik di SMA NegeriPulau Buton adalah sangat baik. Seluruh guru sudah melaksanakan penilaian autentik, namunpada proses pelaksanaannya masih ada guru geografi yang belum melaksanakan penilaianautentik secara sempurna. Pemahaman guru geografi yang baik terhadap konsep penilaianautentik tidak berdampak secara signifikan terhadap tingkat pelaksanaan penilaian autentikdalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

HOTS-oriented assessment is to improve students' high-level thinking skills in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the skills of geography teachers in developing HOTS-oriented questions both theoretically and practically. The results show that their skills are theoretically and practically low. Teachers’ training to improve their competence in developing HOTS-oriented assessment instruments is necessary.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh sikap ekoliterasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik, pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik, dan pengaruh sikap ekoliterasi pada interaksi antara pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis dan kusioner yang diberikan secara langsung kepada 29 peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Rajapolah yang sebelumnya telah ditentukan melalui metode purposive sampling. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier, dengan uji hipotesis statistik t-test. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik imperesial dan perhitungnnya menggunakan aplikasi SPSS.  Analisis data tersebut meliputi: uji normalitas, uji-t atau Analisys Compare Means Independent T-Sample Test, skala sikap, uji linieritas, uji koefisien regresi, uji determinasi, dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sikap ekoliterasi dapat meningkatkan pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.  The effect of ecoliteracy and project-based learning on creative thinking skillsThis study intends to objectively analyse the influence between ecoliteracy, project-based learning, and students' creative thinking skills. It also studies the connection between ecoliteracy attitudes and the interaction between project-based learning and students' creative thinking skills. This study was conducted using a quasi-experimental research design. A written test and a questionnaire were administered directly to 29 students of SMP Negeri 1 Rajapolah. Utilizing a t-test for statistical hypothesis testing, linear regression analysis is the statistical method used. The collected data is then examined by computations in the SPSS program and imperial statistics. The following tests are included in the analysis of the data: the normality test, the t-test or Analysis Compare Means Independent T-Sample Test, the attitude scale, the linearity test, the regression coefficient test, the determination test, and the testing of hypotheses. The findings of this study suggest that a project-based learning approach can enhance students' capacity for creative thought.

Abstract

This study focuses on the influence of Kampus Mengajar programme towards interest in becoming social science teacher. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Kampus Mengajar programme towards the interest in becoming social science teacher. The study uses quantitative approach to the descriptive method. This study was conducted in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, faculty of social science education, social science education study programme. The sample of this study is active college students from batch 2019 and 2020 who are attended and currently participating in Kampus Mengajar programme. The data was collected using questionnaire. The result showed that (1) there is an influence from social science education students who participate in Kampus Mengajar programme towards interest in becoming social science teacher with tcount (3.965) is greater than ttable (1.66) with significant level of 0.05; (2) there is a quite good participation from social science students in Kampus Mengajar programme towards interest in becoming social science teacher. The conclusion of this study indicate that Kampus Mengajar programme can help increasing social science education students' interest in becoming social science teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of internet media literacy in social studies learning among state junior high school students in the city of Bandung, an overview of students' critical thinking skills in social studies learning in public junior high schools in the city of Bandung, and the effect of internet media literacy on students' critical thinking skills in social studies learning in Junior High School in the City of Bandung. The research method used in this study is a survey. The data collection tool used in this study was a questionnaire, which was carried out by distributing a set list of questions or written statements to respondents to answer. The results of the study show that the effect of internet media literacy on students' critical thinking skills in social studies learning is 45%. This percentage is relatively large, a small part of students' critical thinking abilities in social studies learning is influenced by internet media literacy variables. So it can be said that internet media literacy has such an effect on students' critical thinking skills, especially in social studies learning for Bandung City Middle School students.
