Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) Assessing the level of empowerment program members of farmer groups Integrated Farming Systems PT. RAPP in Siak, 2) Assess the degree of independence of members of farmers program Integrated Farming Systems PT. RAPP in Siak, 3) Knowing the empowerment level relationship with the level of independence of farmers program Integrated Farming Systems PT. RAPP in Siak. This study was conducted in Siak district, which includes three sub-districts right kerinci, District and Sub-District Dayun River Apit starting from September 2015 to January 2017. The determination of sampling determined by purposive sampling with the consideration that the farmer who made the respondent is a member of the built members of farmer groups PT. RAPP program received Integrated Agricultural Systems, members of farmer groups most active members, assistance programs Integrated Farming System representing all farmer groups. The number of respondents as many as 30 people. The analysis using Likert scale and Rank Spearman correlation analysis. The results of this study show that: 1) The level of empowerment members of farmer groups in the program Integrated Farming Systems Siak Regency included in the category of Most Powerful. 2) The level of independence of members of farmer groups in Siak program Integrated Farming Systems included in the High category. 3) Relationship level of empowerment to the level of independence of members of farmers Integrated Farming Systems program showed a positive correlation (Unidirectional). This suggests that when the members of the degree of independence helpless farmer group members is also high. Keywords: empowerment, self-reliance, Integrated Farming System, Farmers

Abstract

Website is one of the media to get informations. One of the information is about traditional Malay foods. Pekanbaru have various traditional Malay foods, especially base on flour. Some of culinary website just show foods name. A culinary website needs shown specific information such foods history, food recipe, location, and others. the purpose of this research : 1) Desaigning the website of culinary traditional malay foods base of flour in Pekanbaru with Joomla 3.0. 2) Analyze the level of user satisfaction to culinary website traditional malay foods base on flour. 3) Analyze to level important and attributes performance culinary website traditional malay foods base on flour. Sampling uses non probability method that convience sampling. taking 90 samples uses slovin formula. Analyze of data using joomla 3.0, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Important and Performance Analyze (IPA). Desaigning website include installation XAMPP for Joomla 3.0 aplication, offline installation joomla 3.0, and then desaigning website layout. The result of CSI show user satisfication has a value of 84.00 %. Base on the result of IPA, quadrant I has symbol. Quadrant II have Top Menu, accurate Information, Picture flash, Article, Content, hyperlink, clarity of information, speed of acess, and source. Quadran III have layout interface, attributes on website, user satisfication, and easy access. Quadrant IV have question column and viewers statistic. Abstract

This research aims to : 1) identify social capital of the farmers group of rice in Siak District. 2) identify empowerment of the farmers group of rice in Siak district. 3) identify the correlation between social capital and empowerment of the farmers group of paddy in Siak district. This research used survey method with the number of respondents is 63 farmers who join to the farmers group of rice purposively selected. In identifying social capital and empowerment, the researcher used qualitative desciptive method, while to identify the correlation between social capital and empowerment, the researcher used graphic percentage method. The result of the research showed that : 1) the implementation of social capital to the medium farmers group of rice was better than those in advanced group due to all elements of social capital were handled well by medium group. 2) the empowerment of medium farmers group of rice was higher than advanced group. 3) the percentage of social capital of advanced group was 52.63% followed by empowerment 58.33%. While the perentage of social capital of medium group was 89.47% followed by empowerment 100%.Keywords : Social Capability, Empowerment, farmersGroup, Correlation

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to figure out the implementation of extension and farmers’ perception toward the importance of the role of extension in rubber plantation in Kuantan Hulu Sub-district Kuantan Singingi Regency. The survey method was used in the research, while Random Sampling was also used as the sampling technique. The number of respondents were 49 samples. In terms of analyzing the data, Scale of Liker's Summated Rating (LSR) was used. The Result showed that, the plantation extension activities in Kuantan Hulu Sub-district have been going quite well as it can be observed upon the completeness of the extension programs and the elements of extension. The role of extension in plantation is important in the rubber farming activities with independent scheme that is observed from the education sub-variable, dissemination, facilitation, consultation, supervision, and monitoring  and evaluation. Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Knowing the internal factors and external faktors of rubber farmer groups; 2) Knowing the dynamics of rubber farmer groups. This research is done with survey method and sampling as many as 60 ​​samples. Analysis of the data using The Likert Scale's Summated Ratting (SLR).The results showed that internal factors of groups rubber farmer in a medium category and external factors of group rubber farmer in a high category. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out women farmer’s profile in Sei Beluru village, to analyze an income women farmer’s household, to analyze a contribution income women farmer’s from farmer’s and non farms to household income. These research used a survey method with purposive sampling as a sampling technique, the characteristic are women who have job as a farmer as their primary job, women who have been a housewife and still have husband then have their own farm. Respondent total of this research are 41 respondent. The result is, from charateristics, the age of women farmer’s are between 36-60 years old, with junior highschool graduate, and most of women farmer’s experience in farmer’s industry are during 7-34 years. Total average of household income’s women farmer’s are Rp.24.239.091/years that came from primary household and part time income’s husband, wife and child. Contribution income’s women farmer’s to family income is 9,94%. Keywords: Woman Role, Farmer, Family’s Income

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) to know the role of agricultural extension to the self-pattern rubber farming; (2) to know the empowerment rate of self-pattern rubber farmers; (3) to know how to achieve the extension goals seen from better farming, better business, and better living. This research was conducted in Logas Village and Muara Lembu Village Singingi District Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research method used survey method with 120 respondents, with details 60 farmers from Logas Village and 60 farmers from Muara Lembu Village. The results showed that the role of agricultural extension in Singingi District Kuantan Singingi Regency “not yet role” inself-pattern rubber farming activity with a score of 2,37 as seen from education, facilitation, consultation, supervision, monitoring and evaluation. The empowerment of self-pattern rubber farmersin Singingi District Kuantan Singingi Regency categorized “less powerful” with a score of 2,29 as seen from human resources, productive economy, and institutional, while the succes rate of extension goals seen from better farming, better business, and better living in Singingi District Kuantan Singingi Regency categorized “achieve enough” with a score of 2,96   Keywords: Extension Role, Empowerment, Extension Goals

Abstract

This research aims 1) To determine the characteristic, the independent, and the characteristic of system sosial  of agricultural extension worker insubdistrict Gunung Toar of Kuantan Singingi. 2) To analyzed the performance of agricultural extension workers in subdistrict Gunung Toar. 3) To analize the empowerment and independent of oil palm in Gunung Toar sub district of Kuantan Singingi. Research using survey method amounted to 5 extension selected by census and 55 non-pattern rubber farmers were chosen randomly. The Research analysed with scale likert. The results showed that 1) Characteristic extension workers in SubDistrict Gunung Toar categorized as "High". Extension workers in SubDistrict Gunung Toar categorized as "Independent" which is indicated by a score of 4.47. The characteristics of social system categorized as "High" with a score of 4.11 2)The performance extension workers in the district of Gunung Toar Regency Kuantan Singingi was “Good” score average (3,79). 3) But the empowerment and independent of palm oil farmers was “self power” and “self Independent” score average (2,91) and (3,31).Keywords: Characteristic, Independent, Social System, Performance, Empowerment

Abstract

The research is aimed to determine are: 1) First knowledge of the farmers in  extension of kencana’s chili cultivation technique; 2) The level farmer’s knowledge before-after using visual and audio-visual media. This research was conducted inTelaga Samsam Sub-district Kandis district Siak Regency. This research is experiment trait by taking sample is census as many were 30 respondents. Analyze  data were using of this research are Skala Likerts Summated Rating Scale (LSRS ) and Paired Sample Test. The result showed that the first knowledge of the farmers in extension of kencana’s chili cultivation is “quite knowing “with the score 2,79. Based on data Paired Sample Test analysis that the use of visual media before  (mean=1,964 ) and visual media after (mean =2, 6553 by supported are t-hitung -3.268 and Sig 2 tailed .003<0,05 it means there are difference significant of level  farmer’s knowledge in extension of kencana’s chili cultivation technique before-after using visual media, not difference way with the audio-visual media, the data analyze showed that the use of audio-visual  before  (mean=1,9640 ) and audio-visual after (mean =2,7I82) by supported are t-hitung -8.662 and Sig 2 tailed .000<0,05 it means there are very difference significantly of level  farmer’s knowledge in extension of kencana’s chili cultivation technique before-after using audio-visual.
