Abstract

Literatur examines resilience as an individual’s endurance in dealing with, responding to, and overcoming obstacles, challenges, stresses, and traumatic experiences. It is a negative view because resilience is viewerd only as a response to the condition of entropy. The facts show that the stressful challenges to the individual happen at all times, throughout the life of the individual, in a variety of events such as natural disasters, riots conflicts, wars, and the atmosphere of life that seeks sustainability and adequate decisions. Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling (CGC) adopts a positive view in assessing resilience and sees and understands resilience as a development. Resilience is viewed as a process and product, an indidual sustainability condition. Resilience is seen as a competence in adaptable adjustment, a healthy and open person, independence in making decisions and responsibilities, a fight for achievement, and a peaceful person who encourages the development of authentic and tough personality. Resilience is not the end point of individual endurance and resilience development but is a bynamic and life-long developmental process that always adapts to environmental changes, dynamics, and challenges. Resiliensi is a skill and individual competence that must be developed as long-term behavior. CGC as a development-oriented approach views resilience as one of the various aspects of student development, as a psychohygiene condition that should be a general purpose aspect of education and guidance that becomes the basis of authentic and tough personality development. The series of research and concepts on adeguacy of adjustment, productive personality, health personality, academic hardness, and peacefulness have high incisions with resilience, which are examined in this paper

The inventory comprises 60 statement items across three components: pleasant affect, unpleasant affect, and life satisfaction, totaling 16 indicators. Modified Likert scales assess each item. Validation involves validators expert guidance counseling, and Rasch modeling analysis covering item fit, dimensionality, and reliability. The research findings indicate that the development of the Indonesian version of the subjective well-being inventory for high school/vocational high school students using the Rasch modeling approach has successfully produced a valid and reliable measurement tool. The analysis results show that this inventory meets the criteria for item fit, inventory dimensionality, and person and item reliability

Abstract

This research aims to identify common problems that occur in reliability and validity testing in research in the field of guidance and counselling. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which examines and reviews several articles related to common errors in reliability and validity testing. This research searched for several articles from various sources such as Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, Springer, Routledge Taylor & Francis Group, Research Gate, and frontiersin.org within the past 5 years (2013-2023). The articles that have been searched are then analysed for common errors that appear related to reliability and validity testing, the results of this analysis are presented in tabular form and explained descriptively. The results of this study indicate that several studies in the field of counselling have 9 common errors that are often made in conducting quantitative research. These errors are: not including reliability and validity, not iterating and revising unreliable items, not conducting content validity analysis, not conducting construct validity analysis, mismatching the instrument with the characteristics of the item, the absence of judgment validity, not describing favourable and unfavourable items, limited samples on the instrument, and doubtful construct validity and the need for reliability testing on a wide scale. His research can be a study and reference material in conducting quantitative research, especially in the field of guidance and counselling. Abstract

This research discusses the scale analysis of multicultural guidance instruments on students at Madrasah Aliyah Al Huda Cikalongwetan. West Bandung Regency. The following are the results of the Validity Test and Reliability Test of the research instrument scale regarding multicultural counseling. This Validity Test uses Pearson Correlation to determine the extent to which each item in the measurement instrument correlates with the total score. In the table presented, 67 items (X1 to X67) were tested. The Pearson Correlation value for each item ranges from 0.738 to 0.881, indicating that each item has a strong relationship with the total score. The significance value for all items was 0.000, which is well below the significance level of 0.05. This indicates that the correlations found do not occur by chance and are highly statistically significant. Based on the validity test results, all items (X1 to X67) were declared valid. This is indicated by the high Pearson Correlation Value and the very low significance value (0.000). Thus, the measurement instrument used can be considered valid to measure the intended construct. The Reliability Test results show that the measurement instrument consisting of 67 items has a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.991. This value is very high and close to 1, which indicates that the instrument has excellent internal consistency. In other words, the items in this instrument consistently measure the same construct, so they can be relied upon to produce stable and accurate data. This high Cronbach's Alpha value provides confidence that the instrument can be used with confidence in research to measure the variable in question Keywords: Multicultural, Multicultural Counseling, Multicultural Guidance

Abstract

The present focus of school counselling accountability extends beyond merely tallying activities and time invested by counsellors; it necessitates that school counsellors implement results-oriented and evidence-based methods. This study is to examine the literature about trends, models, and barriers faced by counsellors in the implementation of accountability practices. This study employs a Narrative literature review and Bibliometric analysis covering the period from 2003 to 2023, analysed using Vosviewer. The research findings indicate that the literature on accountability in school counselling is intricately linked to program evaluation, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder collaboration, all aimed at enhancing the efficacy of counselling services in educational institutions and ultimately fostering student success. The findings of the narrative literature review elucidate models that serve as references for school counsellors in implementing accountability practices, specifically data-driven decision-making, the transformative individual school counselling model, MEASURE, the evidence-based model, and the IDEAS model. Additionally, researchers identified accountability barriers stemming from both internal and external factors affecting school counsellors. These findings may serve as a foundation for future study aimed at establishing a data-driven approach to enhance school counsellor accountability.
