Abstract

In the dynamic marketing, companies usually use strategies involving celebrities or influencers to promote their products or brands. The currently popular strategy is using Korean boy bands as brand ambassadors. This collaboration certainly gets a lot of opinion responses through tweets on X app social media. This research aims to analyze sentiment to determine how the product buyer's interest responds to brand suitability, brand image management, and the influence of issues that arise in this collaboration. The research stages consist of data collection, pre-processing, labeling, weighting, and classification with K-Nearest Neighbor and Support Vector Machine and performance evaluation using a confusion matrix. The dataset used was 696 tweets taken using web scrapping techniques. This research uses the Lexicon-based method to divide the dataset into positive, negative, and neutral classes. The SVM method shows superior test results by achieving an accuracy rate of 83.34% compared to the KNN method, which produces an accuracy value of 71.2% in its calculations

Abstract

Kas kecil memegang peran penting dalam mendukung kelancaran operasional sehari-hari dan keberlanjutan aktivitas bisnis. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan akuntansi kas kecil dengan metode imprest di ESTIMA. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah penerapan sistem akuntansi kas kecil dengan metode fluktuatif yang telah diterapkan kurang sesuai sehingga mengganggu aktivitas operasional. Pendampingan dilakukan terhadap staf bagian keuangan ESTIMA melalui pelatihan selama 5 bulan. Materi meliputi konsep dasar, pencatatan transaksi, dan pelaporan kas kecil. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang akuntansi kas kecil. Peserta merespons positif manfaat pendampingan untuk penerapan akuntansi kas kecil di perusahaan. Disimpulkan bahwa pendampingan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan staf keuangan ESTIMA dalam menerapakan akuntansi kas kecil. Rekomendasi adalah melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi berkala pasca pendampingan untuk memastikan implementasi akuntansi kas kecil secara optimal.

Abstract

Universitas Dr. Soetomo holds a free challenge event every year. However, there is no application that helps with student data collection, activities and scoring assessment results because it still uses Microsoft Office Excel. In addition, there is no data processing such as graphs that report which schools each year participate in the competition and which students receive the highest scores in the free challenge. The Waterfall method is used to create a more organized web-based information system to overcome this problem. A clear framework is provided by this method from needs analysis to implementation. In addition to simplifying the registration and competition assessment process, this system provides educators, students and organizers with direct access to information. The results show increased efficiency, accessibility and transparency, and that this method helps improve quality and engagement in Bebras competitions. This shows that the appropriate use of information technology can significantly improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the determinant factors of firm value during the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of dividend policy as a mediation variable. This study uses multiple linear regression and the Sobel test as a data analysis tool to measure dividend policy as a mediating variable between profitability, liquidity, free cash flow, leverage, company growth, investment opportunities, and company value during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the study show that profitability, liquidity, free cash flow, leverage, company growth, and COVID-19 have an effect on dividend policy and company value. However, investment opportunities have no effect on dividend policy or firm value. While the results of the Sobel test showed interaction, this study found that dividend policy mediates the effect of profitability, liquidity, free cash flow, leverage, company growth, and COVID-19 on company value. This study expands on empirical evidence on the determinants of firm value in the COVID-19 pandemic that is currently reported to be inconclusive and fills a gap in the existing literature by focusing on the issue of the determinants of firm value in the context of dividend policy as a mediating variable in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) are microfinance institutions in Bali that are based on local wisdom. One form of good LPD governance is reporting LPD performance transparently and consistently to indigenous communities. Intense competition between financial institutions motivates LPD managers to improve performance and develop human resource competencies continually. This service program aims to increase the accounting and financial reporting knowledge of LPD employees. This service activity uses four methods: interviews, counseling, mentoring, and evaluation. The evaluation results show increased accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reports.
