Abstract

Sustainable areas are currently needed in the development of tourism destinations. A sustainable transportation system and the urgency of environmental sustainability are one of the main supporting aspects in achieving regional sustainability. This research aims to produce transportation modeling in support of sustainable transportation systems and the development of Low Emission Zone planning in tourism destinations. The method used in this study is a quantitative method developed through transportation modeling using the Vissim and Visum programs. The analysis was carried out on roads in the Ubud Bali Tourism Area. The results of transportation modeling show that sustainable transportation system planning can reduce the impact of tourism on the transportation sector and the environment by increasing the level of service to A and resulting in reduced air pollution as a result of implementing the Low Emission Zone area.

Abstract

Congestion during rush hours has always been a significant problem for the government, impacting travel time, vehicle operations and air pollution, and health problems. The government has proposed some policies through traffic engineering management and other management applications with the latest technology to overcome such issues. Research related to travel patterns during peak hours is beneficial, which will impact road users' decision-making, particularly during these days when everyone's activities are starting again after COVID-19 restrictions. In this paper, data processing (from Google Maps Distance Matrix API, Typical Google Maps, and Community Mobility Reports) was carried out for almost one month to obtain data on speed and travel time. These data are gathered from four pairs of locations with specific origin/destination of travel patterns in the southern Bali region. The community's travel pattern can be explained based on the one-way ANOVA with Bonferroni and the Kruskal Wallis Test. This paper found that people are in a hurried movement in the morning compared to other busy times, marked by the differences in speed and travel time in the morning commute to afternoon and evening commute during rush hours. This condition illustrates the irregular traffic flow after the Covid-19 restriction rules; thus, drivers can still choose the desired speed to travel. The irregular traffic flow can be seen on community mobility data and typical green traffic during peak hours. This result is significant because of the importance of traffic management during peak hours to optimize the level of road service.

Abstract

Provinsi Bali adalah salah satu destinasi wisata utama di Indonesia yang menarik minat wisatawan mancanegara. Infrastruktur transportasi memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung perkembangan pariwisata, termasuk dalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh infrastruktur transportasi terhadap kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara di Provinsi Bali dan merumuskan strategi untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan keselamatan infrastruktur transportasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dan analisis RCPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur transportasi, terutama aksesibilitas, konektivitas, keselamatan, keamanan, dan jasa pelayanan, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara di Provinsi Bali. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan keselamatan infrastruktur transportasi termasuk meningkatkan kualitas jalan dan transportasi publik, serta memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran keselamatan berkendara. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah, pengelola pariwisata, dan pihak terkait dalam meningkatkan infrastruktur transportasi dan mengembangkan pariwisata di Provinsi Bali.

Abstract

Pengembangan industri skala besar di Kabupaten Bekasi khususnya Cikarang oleh Delta Mas dan Lippo Cikarang akan berdampak pada sektor transportasi dan sektor ekonomi. Pada sektor transportasi akan menyebabkan adanya kemacetan secara luas dan kompleks, sedangkan pada sektor ekonomi akan memberikan dampak yang baik. Tetapi permasalahan transportasi ini tentu tidak dapat memberikan dampak yang maksimal pada sektor ekonomi di Kabupaten Bekasi sehingga dibutuhkan manajemen lalu lintas berupa pembukaan interchange KM 41 + 100 sebagai upaya penanganan kemacetan lalu lintas di jalan tol Jakarta-Cikampek Koridor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk mengetahui dampak ekonomi yang terjadi disebabkan dari adanya manajemen lalu lintas berupa pembukaan interchange KM 41 + 100 sebagai upaya penanganan kemacetan lalu lintas di jalan tol Jakarta-Cikampek Koridor Cikarang Barat-Karawang Barat. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan transportasi berupa pemodelan transportasi. didapatkan hasil bahwa biaya perjalanan masyarakat menjadi berkurang akibat adanya penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar, volume lalu lintas, dan waktu tempuh, serta akibat penurunan biaya perjalanan mampu meningkatkan pendapatan perkapita Kabupaten Bekasi.

Abstract

Infrastructure management is a development from strategic management which is part of sustainable economic development. This study aims to determine the characteristics of movement, traffic performance on toll roads and main roads, cost savings associated with industrial activities in West Cikarang to West Karawang region to improve the logistic distribution and accessibility of the Deltamas Industrial Estate Area. The visum program was developed as effort to analyzed transportation network in the study area referring to survey results obtained. The results stated that every road network development there was an increase in speed and decrease in v/c ratio so as to improve network performance. In addition, the results of study also concluded that there were savings in the analysis of economic costs related to travel costs and experienced reduction in air pollution levels which can be improved logistic distribution. For this reason, strengthening network performance in encouraging increased accessibility is needed.
