Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the skills of housewives Sawangan, Depok, in the use of waste cloth into brooches, necklaces, earrings, towels, and other accessories through community empowerment. Empowerment is a community effort to increase the capacity to prepare themselves for the provision of knowledge and skills. Stages empowerment counseling begins with awareness of the importance of taking wastewater to protect the environment and entrepreneurship motivation, followed by waste processing training, mentoring makes products to become independent, as well as promotional strategies. Through counseling and training, is expected to explore the potential that there is in the group of mothers in the household so that it can generate income to the household economy, either as principal or as an additional revenue, as well as a provision for opening an independent business in the creative industries. If it is implemented properly and sustained, will indirectly assist in economic growth in both the domestic and regional levels in the District Sawangan.

Abstract

Coffee pulp waste is one of the most significant industrial wastes today because, for the last three years, the coffee business has multiplied in Indonesia, especially in urban areas. Coffee pulp waste has economic value if it can use it. This study is (1) to describe the condition of the existing coffee shop in South Jakarta, (2) to find out the social business strategy for the development of the creative industries in the coffee shop by utilizing coffee grounds waste. This study is a qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. To determine the condition of the coffee shop, data was collected through interviews with 30 coffee shop owners in South Jakarta and observation. The SBMC analysis will continue to project the coffee pulp business as a social business. The results showed a coffee shop in South Jakarta produces coffee waste per day 1-5 kg. All owners have not utilized the coffee grounds waste. Through SMBC analysis, education is needed to the coffee shop owner as a supplier of coffee waste and open employment for the community who will recycle coffee grounds into cosmetics. This study concluded that the utilization of coffee waste could create a creative cosmetics industry while overcoming unemployment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditulis untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan media sosial dalam pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan ekonomi semester empat di Universitas Indraprasta PGRI yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif strategi penelitian etnografi digital dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan pemberian tugas. Kondisi pandemi covid, mengharuskan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online. Di sisi lain, diperlukan ketersediaan perangkat pembelajaran online dan media sosial menjadi salah satu pilihan yang dapat digunakan sebagai media. Dalam penggunaan media sosial ini, mahasiswa dapat mengasah kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya yang meliputi kelancaran, kelenturan, orisinalitas, dan elaborasi melalui konten-konten pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keragaman media sosial yang dimanfaatkan oleh mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran, pemanfaatan media sosial dalam pembelajaran dapat menjadi stimulus bagi perkembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan tanggapan mahasiswa setelah tiga semester menjalani pembelajaran online selama masa pandemi covid. Dengan pembelajaran berbasis media sosial ini, mahasiswa mendapatkan kemudahan dalam mendapatkan berbagai informasi dan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan menjadikan mahasiswa mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya

Abstract

Peran guru sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Bila siswa memiliki masalah-masalah dalam belajar, guru sejatinya mencari solusi dari masalah belajar siswa. Dalam proses pembelajaran terdapat beberapa kelemahan yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Perpajakan yang menggunakan media zoom dengan media konvensional pada siswa kelas XI SMK Purnama 2 Jakarta. Treatment ini digunakan karena dinilai relevan dengan kondisi covid saat ini yang terjadi di penjuru dunia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan sampel siswa kelas XI sebanyak 2 kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis hipotesis komparatif. Hasil penelitian berupa siswa yang menggunakan media zoom, hasil belajarnya lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan media konvensional pada mata pelajaran perpajakan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in social studies achievement in students who use instructional media visuals that do not use. The study was conducted in Yasmine School with a sample size of 40 students. The study used an experimental method, namely by providing pre-test and post-test. Visual learning media can facilitate understanding and strengthen memory, and cultivate students' interest and can provide the relationship between the content of the subject matter with the real world. The use of visual learning media, hopefully not boring learning social studies only look at the text, but with the visualization of the material presented by the teacher, the learning more interesting and challenging.

Abstract

This descriptive research aimed to discover the implementation of entrepreneurship education that can be developed to be applied at Female Prison, IIB Class, Tangerang. The research conducted as from October 2013 through February 2014 describes the prisoners’ characteristics by age, crime, religion, and education. Besides it also mentions the educational methods applied in the Female Prison. The research stages began with fileld study to obtain data related to education, religion, age, crime, and business interest. The data indicates their interest in commercial business is 71 % with the background of business experience before they were taken into prison and the entrepreneurship education in the prison will motivate them to develop their previous commercial business or to start a business for those who have not done any commercial business.

Abstract

Tujuan pembelajaran ekonomi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kedisiplinan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI pada SMA Negeri 4 Depok. Metode yang digunakan penulis adalah menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan strategi survey, selain itu pengumpulan data dengan metode kuesioner, metode dokumentasi, dan observasi. Populasi terjangkau dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI mata pelajaran Ekonomi pada SMA Negeri 4 Depok dengan besar sampel sebanyak 60 orang dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu hasil angket kedisiplinan dan nilai rapot siswa kelas XI mata pelajaran Ekonomi dalam bentuk checklist dengan jumlah pernyataan 20 soal, analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis koefisien korelasi, analisis regresi linier sederhana, koefisien determinasi, dan uji t. Sebelum analisis data terlebih dahulu diadakan pengujian persyaratan data analisis meliputi uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) pada pengaruh kedisiplinan didapat rata-rata, yaitu 85,7, standar deviasi, yaitu 5,8810. sedangkan prestasi belajar siswa didapat rata-rata, yaitu 83,0033, standar deviasi, yaitu 7,0047 kemudian ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,7158, serta regresi sederhana diperoleh persamaan regresi Y = 11,1124 + 0,8411X. Hal ini berarti apabila kedisiplinan ditingkatkan sebesar 1 poin, maka prestasi belajar juga akan naik sebesar 0,8411 pada konstanta 11,1124 Y, selain itu koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,5123 yang artinya sebesar 51,23% variabel ini mempengaruhi prestasi belajar. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu: 7,8065 > 2,0022 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kedisiplinan terhadap prestasi belajar kelas XI mata pelajaran Ekonomi pada SMA Negeri 4 Depok.

Abstract

This exploratory article was concerned with the use of social media platforms as learning media during the covid-19 pandemic. Indonesia government issued a policy to work at home, study at home, and worship at home during the pandemic. Several social media platforms became popular among Indonesians during the pandemic. This study explored a concept, which meant understanding the developing phenomena in order to gain insights used for further research. Respondents were four students who attended lectures on organizational behaviour. The data were collected through observation, assignment, and unstructured interviews. The findings showed the diversity of social media chosen by students with various considerations such as the amount of internet quota, trends in social media applications, and creativity development, as well as several things that need to be considered by lecturers and students in online learning.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan kesadaran pajak pada siswa SMK. Tahapan kegiatan ini melalui wawancara kepada wakil kepala sekolah mengenai kebutuhan pengetahuan, observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penyuluhan kesadaran pajak, dan post test. Penanaman kesadaran pajak pada siswa dinilai penting untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan para siswa mengenai kontribusi perpajakan untuk pembangunan bangsa khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Sektor pajak memiliki andil besar bagi penerimaan negara yang digunakan untuk kesejahteraan rakyat di segala bidang. Besar atau kecil penerimaan pajaknya ditentukan oleh kesadaran dan kepatuhan wajib pajaknya. Peningkatan kepatuhan pajak dapat dilakukan dengan fokus right now dengan pengawasan dan sosialisasi wajib pajak dan fokus future.
