Abstract

This research aims to determine the benefits of applying email as a personal letter writing activity for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Widoro Kapanewon Pengasih, Kulon Progo Regency. The research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of interviews, observations and documentation, it can be said that the application of email media in learning to write personal letters for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Widoro Kapanewon Pengasih, Kulon Progo district provides benefits, especially improving students' skills in writing, sending, opening and replying. letters via email as well as developing potential in utilizing advances in information and communication technology that are useful for their lives in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the character education of the Pancasila Profile contained in the Indonesian Language textbook for Grade 4 SD Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data in the form of sentences containing the cultivation of Pancasila Profile character education contained in Indonesian language textbooks. The results showed that this textbook has included activities that are the implementation of the six dimensions of the Pancasila Profile. In all chapters, the writer founds the implementation of the Pancasila Profile dimension of Belief, Devotion to God Almighty and Noble Character, Gotong Royong dimension, Mandiri dimension, and Critical Reasoning dimension, while the Global Diversity dimension does not appear much in this textbook. The writer only founds this dimension in Chapter 4.

Abstract

Learning carried out in the independent curriculum era should develop student creativity so that students are able to create something different to face the competition in real life that students will experience. However, the Indonesian language learning that occurs at SD Negeri 1 Banjareja has not been able to develop creative attitudes in students. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out learning innovations that can equip students with creative attitudes by implementing project based learning that integrates Tri N teachings in Indonesian language learning so that students' creativity grows and develops. This research aims to increase student creativity and find out how to increase student creativity in learning Indonesian by implementing project based learning that integrates Tri N teachings for class V students at SD Negeri 1 Banjareja. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which describes the application of Tri N teachings through project based learning syntax in class V Indonesian language learning at SD Negeri 1 Banjareja. Qualitative data analysis is carried out through the stages of reducing the collected data, data exposure, and data conclusion. The results of the research carried out show that there has been an increase in creativity in students, as evidenced by the works or learning products produced which are innovative works, which have their own characteristics between one work and another. Apart from that, the implementation of the project based learning model can be carried out according to the syntax by integrating the Tri N teaching steps in it. The integration between project based learning and Tri N teachings is mutually supportive and strengthening so that this research is successful.

Abstract

Learning an Indonesian language is a lesson that plays a central role in the intellectual, social and emotional development of students and is one of the ways to successfully study all fields of study. There are four components of language skills, namely listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills and writing skills. One of the writing skills in Indonesian in primary school is writing poetry. Poetry is a form of beautiful and meaningful literary work. One of the efforts that can be made to improve the writing skills of poetry is the use of media imagery. The study was conducted on 24 group VI students at SDN Klegenwonosari, consisting of 10 male students and 14 female students. From the research conducted, the results were obtained in the form of scores obtained from cycle I, as many as 5 students or 21% scored 67-75, 1 student or 4% scored 85-93. The KKM for learning Indonesian at SDN Klegenwonosari is 70. So in Cycle I, the number of students who achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) score was 6 students. For Cycle II results, scores 67-74 were 3 students or 16%, scores 75-84 were 6 students or 25%, and for scores 85-93 were 15 students or 59%. So that in Cycle II, the number of students who achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) score was 21 students. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of visual media as a medium for learning to write poetry is not only easy to obtain, but also makes it easier for students to come up with creative ideas in the form of poetry, thus enhancing the enthusiasm, creativity and imagination of students in learning to write poetry  Keywords: learners, media images, writing skills poetry

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the development of innovative teaching materials with a sosiocultural approach for the Indonesian language subject for fifth-grade elementary school students and to assess the quality of media validity. This study adopts the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the design model proposed by Borg & Gall, consisting of the following 10 stages; (1) research and information collecting; (2) planning; (3) developing  preliminary  form  of  product; (4)  preliminary field testing; (5) main product revision; (6) main  field  testing; (7) operational product revision; (8) operational field testing; (9) final product revision, dan (10) desimination and implementation. Data collection instruments use validation sheets. The results showed that the procedure of media development went through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of material validation tests from experts and learning experts (stakeholders) innovative teaching materials with a sosiocultural approach obtained an average score of 95,68% from a maximum score of 100% and the results of media validation tests from experts and learning experts (stakeholders) obtained an average score of 92,91% from a maximum score of 100%. Based on the feasibility test results of innovative teaching materials with a sosiocultural approach, the products developed can be categorized as valid and suitable for use in learning.
