Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine improving student learning outcomes in learning physics by applying the Project Based Learning Model with Planning phases (planning), Creating (creation or implementation), and processing. The object of this research is the students of class X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 68 Jakarta with 37 students. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with Model Chemish & Mc.Taggart which are the phases: planning (planning), action (acting), observation (observing) and reflection (reflecting), in collaboration with the teacher of the class. The study was conducted by two cycles, the first cycle consisted of two meetings, in the second cycle two meetings, too. Data collection been done from the results of Physics of student learning, interviews and field notes. The results of this research with the achievements in materials physics of Dynamics Motion Particle, respectively in the first cycle: Average of Affective score: Scientific Attitude and motivation of students is not optimal, Average of Cognitive score of Students: 43.7 and Average of Psychomotor score of student: 45.3. Results in cycle 1 is still below The Minimum Criteria Score for completeness (KKM) in Physics of SMAN 68 Jakarta = 75. In Cycle II: Average Affective score of students: Attitudes Scientific is high score with the student response was quick and student motivation was optimal with high residual enthusiasm, Average Cognitive score of student: 84.5 and Average Psychomotor score of students: 83.5. The result of this research showed that by applying the Project Based Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes (affective, cognitive and Psychomotor).Keywords: Project Based Learning Model, Result Study of Physics.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan tahapan Planning (perencanaan), Creating (mencipta atau implementasi), dan Processing (pengolahan). Objek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 68 Jakarta sebanyak 37 siswa. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas Model Kemis & Mc.Taggart dngan tahap: perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting), yang berkolaborasi dengan guru pengajar di kelas. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to develop a drama script with physics thematic content for senior high school physics- fun based learning and meaningful learning or joyful learning. Joyful learning requires fun learning conditional in the delivery of learning materials. The drama script as a collection of dialog is one form of media that can be used to deliver learning with fun and still has meaningfulness. This development can be used as the basis for research-based instructional media with joyful learning to another subjects. The development research is 4D Thiagarajan Model, and the stage consists of defining, designing, development, and disseminate. This study will describe the process of development of each of its stages. The output of this research is a physics plays eligible to be used as a medium of learning physics in high school. Naskah drama sebagai kumpulan dialog merupakan salah satu bentuk media yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyampaikan pembelajaran dengan menyenangkan dan tetap memiliki kebermaknaan. Pengembangan naskah drama fisika ini menjadi penelitian yang dapat dijadikan dasar bagi penelitian media pembelajaran berbasis joyfull learning untuk mata pelajaran lainnya. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D Thiagarajan, yang tahapannya terdiri dari pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Abstract

Abstract This preliminary study focused on the technique of instructional media that is integrated with Augmented Reality to increase the interest of studies student. This study uses the book as a medium that brought information representing a 3D model of the atom objects. This paper emphasizes the techniques of designing learning media in the form of Augmented Reality applications to be used on smartphones with the Android Operating System. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to produce tests and evaluation of physics informative and communicative on the kinematics of rectilinear motion of matter and to determine the effects of the test and evaluation of physics informative and communicative to interest students in work on the problems. The method used is the method of developing research-Thiagarajan 4D model, which consists of four stages, namely: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Assessment tests and evaluations conducted by a lecturer of physics as learning experts and media experts. Testing and evaluation tests conducted by the test to high school students of class X. The results of this research are physics test and evaluation informative and communicative on the kinematics of rectilinear motion of matter that has been validated by an expert assessment of learning physics and an expert on media and software, has also been tested eligibility in school. The results of the validation by an expert assessment of learning physics obtain results with kategoro well. The results of the validation by media experts and software obtained either category. The results of due diligence by the students obtain better results by category. Based on the results of validation and feasibility test, we can conclude that the test and evaluation of physics informative and communicative fit for use as a test and evaluation of learning physics in high school.Keywords: test and evaluation, informative, communicative, straight motion kinematics AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan tes dan evaluasi fisika yang informatif dan komunikatif pada materi kinematika gerak lurus dan untuk mengetahui efek dari tes dan evaluasi fisika yang informatif dan komunikatif terhadap ketertarikan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian pengembangan model 4D-Thiagarajan, yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penilaian tes dan evaluasi dilakukan oleh dosen fisika sebagai ahli pembelajaran dan ahli media. Pengujian tes dan evaluasi dilakukan dengan uji coba kepada siswa SMA kelas X. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tes dan evaluasi fisika yang informatif dan komunikatif pada materi kinematika gerak lurus yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli penilaian pembelajaran fisika serta ahli media dan perangkat lunak, juga telah diuji kelayakannya di sekolah. Hasil validasi oleh ahli penilaian pembelajaran fisika memperoleh hasil dengan kategoro baik. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media dan perangkat lunak memperoleh kategori baik. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh siswa memperoleh hasil dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji kelayakan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tes dan evaluasi fisika yang informatif dan komunikatif layak digunakan sebagai tes dan evaluasi pembelajaran fisika di SMA.Keywords: tes dan evaluasi, informatif, komunikatif, kinematika gerak lurus

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) in the 21st century makes it easier for students to be more active in the learning process. Physics learning materials are needed to support the problem-based learning process in high school. This study aims to produce e-learning models for problem-based learning on Heat and Thermodynamics topics. The result shows media can be used in learning in high school class XI. We uses the research and development method, with the Dick and Carey model. The study was conducted in a digital media laboratory, Physics Education Department of Universitas Negeri Jakarta from January to June 2018. E-Learning models have been produced for problem-based learning in the topic of Heat and Thermodynamics. This WordPress-based E-Learning model can display physics material enriched with images, graphics, animations, simulations, and videos. Students are facilitated to understand the concepts learned. The e-learning model is equipped with assessment tools that can be used online. Students are facilitated to learn independently without limited space and time. The E-learning model developed was also equipped with discussion groups in the form of chats for all registered users. The media validation obtained the results of system evaluation, content, and e-learning infrastructure with 78.9 points average. The material validation gives an 81.55 rating. Concerning media and material, e-learning media is declared feasible as a medium for self-learning. The e-learning model for problem-based learning is feasible to use to train the ability to critical thinking, creative thinking, collaborative, and communicate for students in high school.

Abstract

This article aims to publish research results in developing e-learning tools using WordPress in high school physics learning with the 5E Learning Cycle strategy. The 5E Learning Cycle Strategy consists of five stages: Engagement, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. The 5E Learning Cycle Strategy refers to learner-centered learning so that online-based learning media is needed that can condition the implementation of learning following the 5E Learning Cycle stages. This study uses research and development that refers to the Dick and Carey model. E-learning products produce five physics topics, namely 1) Direct Current (DC) Circuit; 2) Static Electricity; 3) Magnetic Field; 4) Electromagnetic Induction; and 5) Alternating Current (AC) Circuit. It was validated by material physic experts, media experts, and learning experts, in the form of a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results of field trials using e-learning products produce N-Gain values ranging from 0.35 to 0.40. The study concluded that the developed e-learning could support physics learning with the Learning Cycle 5E strategy.

Abstract

This article aims to publish research results on the development of physics textbooks equipped with 3D media based on Augmented Reality technology. AR Technology can provide solutions when students face difficulties illustrating physics material in physics learning textbooks. This research uses the research & development method of the Dick & Carey model. The resulting book displays physics material in multi representations with verbal forms, pictures, tables, graphs, mathematical equations, and 3D media. Augmented Reality technology-based multi representation is displayed with a marker that is scanned through a smartphone application with an Android system. The scanning process requires an average of two seconds from each marker. The time of this scan shows that the media produced is more effective and efficient when compared with the activities of searching and downloading animations or videos by students. The feasibility of the book was tested with a Likert scale questionnaire instrument. For material, the worthiness was 71.45% while 93.3% for the media. The trial results are limited to five materials giving N-Gain values ranging from 0.3 to 0.47. Based on these results it can be concluded that the book model enriched with 3D media with AR technology is already feasible as a textbook in learning physics.

Abstract

This study determines the effect of developing blended learning models using Edmodo on students’ critical thinking skills on impulse and momentum. The research method used in this study is ADDIE. The population in this study is class X MIA SMAN 4 Serang City. The sample of this study amounted to 31 students from class X MIA 2 as an experimental class using a blended learning model and 30 students from class X MIA 3 as a control class using a cooperative model. The test used in this study was seven indicators of critical thinking skills. These results indicate an increase in students’ critical thinking skills after being given treatment that is by using a blended learning model. The N-Gain value evidences a large increase in the experimental class that is 0.60 in the medium category and 0.23 in the low category in the control class. The average value of pretest and posttest is 5.27 and 9.77 in the control class, while in the experimental class is 5.65 and 16.61. These results show that there is an influence on the development of blended learning models for critical thinking skills on the momentum and impulses.

Abstract

This study aims to disclose how virtual reality technology has been applied to studies of learning and the possibility of virtual reality by reviewing studies that have employed the virtual reality approach. A total of 15 papers were selected from the Scopus Index database from 2015 to 2020. Content analysis showed that virtual reality and physics learning had received the most attention under the theme of student perception, especially in self-efficacy and experience, followed by satisfaction, motivation, and engagement. Trends of research development show that the use of virtual reality has proliferated recently. Moreover, HTC Vive is the most powerful device to conduct the VR study for the tool device. This study concludes that virtual reality technology provides a promising media for educational researchers.
