Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat ukhuwah Islamiyah di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Karim Colomadu, Karanganyar, melalui pemanfaatan tradisi Halal bi Halal. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada 20 April 2024 ini melibatkan seluruh komponen madrasah, termasuk siswa, guru, staf, dan orang tua. Melalui serangkaian aktivitas seperti pemaparan materi, diskusi kelompok, role-playing, dan pengenalan platform digital "Ukhuwah Digital", program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan komitmen peserta terhadap implementasi nilai-nilai ukhuwah Islamiyah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Evaluasi awal menunjukkan 85% peserta merasa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat, dan 90% berkomitmen untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai ukhuwah Islamiyah secara lebih konsisten. Tantangan utama yang teridentifikasi adalah memastikan konsistensi implementasi di luar lingkungan madrasah. Untuk mengatasinya, direkomendasikan pelibatan aktif komite sekolah dan tokoh masyarakat, serta pemanfaatan optimal platform digital. Program ini tidak hanya berhasil memperkuat ikatan persaudaraan di lingkungan madrasah, tetapi juga berpotensi menjadi model yang dapat diadaptasi oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya, berkontribusi pada penguatan ukhuwah Islamiyah dalam skala yang lebih luas.

Abstract

The teaching of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at SMP Negeri 2 Gemolong, Sragen Regency, has implemented the method of teacher exemplarity as an alternative to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. The survey results indicate that 69.1% of students stated that their teachers always relate IRE lessons to their daily lives. Furthermore, observations of the teachers revealed that they have successfully applied the method of teacher exemplarity in IRE instruction. The effectiveness of this approach is evident from the fact that 75% of students have achieved or surpassed the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) set by the school. Thus, the method of teacher exemplarity can be considered as an effective alternative to enhance the teaching and learning of Islamic Religious Education in the school. Additionally, SMP Negeri 2 Gemolong can serve as a pilot project for strengthening students' character.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a discourse on intelligence concepts IQ (Intelligence Quotient), EQ (Emotional Quotient), SQ (Spiritual Quotient), and PI (Prophetic Intelligence) and the role of each intelligence in forming a perfect and noble human being. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study and theoretical analysis. This approach involves searching for and analyzing relevant theoretical sources to gain an in-depth understanding of the research topic. The method of literature study and theoretical analysis is used to describe the concepts that appear in the literature and build a solid conceptual framework. This approach is important in developing quality research and providing a holistic understanding of the topic under study. The results of this study indicate that in the discourse on intelligence, the concepts of IQ (Intelligence Quotient), EQ (Emotional Quotient), SQ (Spiritual Quotient), and PI (Prophetic Intelligence) have differences and their respective roles. IQ is likened to "hardware" that affects a person's cognitive capacity, EQ as "software" that affects the quality of social relations, SQ as a moral core that directs values and goals for using intelligence, while PI (Prophetic Intelligence) focuses on understanding Uluhiyyah's monotheism and revelation taught by the Prophet Muhammad, in the form of awareness of death and preparation for facing it becomes an important element in PI. Within this whole intelligence discourse, this research demonstrates that the understanding and application of these concepts can have a positive impact on individuals, social relationships, and the meaningful and valued use of intelligence. Based on the research results, it was found that the importance of developing the concept of Prophetic Intelligence in Islamic religious education can help create good human beings or civilized human beings. The main goal of education is to produce humans who are fair to themselves and have the highest loyalty to the creator.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of contracts (akad) in Islamic insurance in Indonesia, identify challenges faced, and propose strategies to enhance effectiveness. The study focuses on Wakalah, Al-Wadiah, and Musyarakah contracts. Employing a qualitative method with a library research approach, this study analyzes various literature sources, regulatory documents, and industry reports. The results indicate that the Wakalah contract is predominantly used, while Al-Wadiah and Musyarakah have more limited implementation. Key challenges identified include lack of standardization, complexity in underwriting surplus calculations, and limited understanding among practitioners and the public. Proposed strategies to improve the effectiveness of contract implementation include enhancing education, developing adaptive regulations, standardizing practices, investing in technology, and product innovation. The research also highlights the importance of strengthening sharia governance and developing digital platforms to increase transparency and efficiency. In conclusion, while the implementation of contracts in Islamic insurance in Indonesia has shown progress, there remains significant room for improvement and innovation to ensure compliance with sharia principles and meet societal needs

Abstract

The background of this research is the need to improve the performance and development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah in Baturetno District, Wonogiri Regency. The aim of this study is to identify and analyze effective supervision strategies and managerial leadership improvements in supporting the development of the madrasah. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and relevant document analysis. The research results show that effective managerial leadership, characterized by a clear vision, motivational ability, and good managerial skills, has a significant impact on improving the performance of the madrasah. Furthermore, continuous and participative supervision also proves to be important in supporting the improvement and development of the madrasah. Supervisors who provide active guidance and support help identify and address problems earlier, thus creating a more conducive learning environment. This study concludes that cooperation between the head of the madrasah, teachers, supervisors, and other stakeholders is essential to achieving sustainable development. Support from the government, community, and Muhammadiyah organization is also needed to implement effective managerial leadership improvement strategies. With good cooperation and support, it is hoped that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah in Baturetno District can achieve significant improvements in the quality of education.

Abstract

This community service aims to illustrate the implementation of Community Service (PKM) between Mamba'ul 'Ulum Islamic Institute Surakarta and Mojogedang Public High School, Karanganyar Regency. The main focus is on strengthening the Pancasila student profile through religious activities, particularly the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, held on Friday, October 6, 2023. The community service method involves the active participation of students in various spiritual, academic, and social activities. The results indicate that the integration of religious values with Pancasila can shape students with balanced and integral characters. This community service provides a positive contribution to the students' development and strengthens the bond between educational institutions and the community.

Abstract

Early childhood education (ECE) based on Islamic principles offers an approach that can bridge the gap between traditional and modern education. Principles from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW, such as role modeling, compassion, and discipline, are foundational in educating children. However, integrating these principles into an ECE curriculum that meets academic standards and developmental needs in the modern era remains a challenge. This study aims to explore effective ways to adapt Islamic educational principles into an ECE curriculum that fulfills academic standards while supporting the development of character and moral values in children. This research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method to analyze relevant literature on Islamic education and ECE curriculum. Data were collected from academic sources, hadiths, and Islamic educational guidelines to identify the implementation of Prophet’s teachings in a modern context. The research indicates that integrating moral and spiritual values into the ECE curriculum enhances character and moral development in children. Methods involving educator role modeling, reinforcement of compassion, and application of supportive discipline, along with the use of technology and appropriate educational materials, are effective in creating a supportive learning environment. This adaptation also includes training for educators and curriculum development that aligns with local and cultural needs.
