Abstract

Vertical roller mill is a combination of the system on millstone and rocker arm, in the process the millstone is driven by a motor so that it can rotate, the material enters through the middle of the millstone, with the centrifugal force the material above the millstone is ground by a roller which is pressured by a hydraulic cylinder. Tyre I experienced the largest wear rate with a total wear rate of 46,79 gr/hour, Tyre II experienced a wear rate of 38,58 gr/hour, Tyre III experienced a wear rate of 31,74 gr/hour, and the smallest Tyre IV experienced a wear rate of 24,90 gr /hour. And maintenance is done on the main components of the vertical mill so that the raw mix material can be processed properly.

Abstract

Ampere merupakan faktor penting dalam pengelasan yang disebabkan akibat peningkatan arus yang  mempengaruhi pada peningkatan panas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kuat arus listrik variasi arus 80 ampere dan 85 ampere terhadap kekuatan impak. Jenis kampuh yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kampuh V tunggal dengan sudut 30°. Spesimen dilakukan pengujian impak dilakukan dengan metode charpy menggunakan ASTM Vol 03-03 E 23. Hasil dari pengujian impak pada spesimen variasi arus menunjukkan bahwa nilai kekuatan impak variasi arus 80 ampere energi yang diserap sebesar 275 joule dan harga impaknya sebesar 3,4059 Joule/mm2. Kemudian pada arus  85 ampere energi yang diserap sebesar  257 joule dan energi impaknya sebesar  3,2125 Joule/mm2 dengan jenis patahan ulet.Kata kunci — Ampere (A), Kampuh V Tunggal , Kekuatan Impak

Abstract

Crumb rubber is a semi-finished natural rubber product that still contains moisture content. One of the most needed crumb rubber standards is SIR 20 (crumb rubber) with a maximum moisture content of 0.80% according to Indonesia National Standard. To remove the water content, it is necessary to carry out the drying process. Drying is a process to evaporate water in a material by using heat. The drying process is carried out in the dryer unit. Hot air is obtained from burning a burner with a temperature of 130°C. The burner will heat the air and then distribute the hot air to the dryer unit with a dryer temperature of 116°C. In the dryer unit, crumb rubber will be dried with a drying process time of 172.62 minutes. The total heat required to dry the crumb rubber with an incoming feed weight of 626.66 kg, and the moisture content of the crumb rubber after drying is an average of 0.53%, this result still meets the standards of crumb rubber. ) SIR 20 of a maximum of 0.80%.

Abstract

Chain is a series of links or rings that are connected or attached to one another so that they form an elongated shape. Chains are used to move loads or continue rotation. One of the chains that is often used is steel. One of them is a roller chain installed in a bucket conveyor, where this conveyor functions to convey crumb rubber from one process to the next. In this research the author carried out two tests on the chain to obtain an increase in the length of the chain. In the first test the chain plate was carried out in a tensile test with a load of 4 tons and the second test was carried out with a maximum load until the chain broke. After the author carried out the first test, the amount of increase in chain length (ɛ) after being averaged was 0.54%. In the second test, the maximum load (Fmax) after being averaged was 7.298 tons, and the increase in chain length (ɛ) was 7.2%.

Abstract

Pegas ulir adalah salah satu komponen elastis, biasa dibuat dari lilitan kawat baja dengan sifat pegas yang elastis, pegas berfungsi untuk menerima getaran dan memberikan gaya akibat dari beban yang di berikan seperti pegas yang terpasang pada vibrating screen di stasiun pemurnian. Gaya yang di hasilkan sebuah pegas biasa tarikan atau tekanan. Pegas merupakan salah satu komponen penting pada alat vibrating screen karena pegas digunakan untuk menopang beban dan juga menghasilkan getaran yang di teruskan dari getaran bandu pada elektromotor vibrating screen. Karena pegas menerima beban tekan dan juga beban tarik maka haruslah di perhitungkan kekuatan pegas yang di gunakan sesuai dengan beban yang di terima dan dilakukan perawatan agar menghindari dari kerusakan pada pegas. Pada penelitian ini di lakukan pengujian pada pegas ulir vibrating screen bahan baja AISI 1045 dengan kategori baja karbon menengah menggunakan metode uji kekerasan dan uji tarik. Pada uji kekerasan besarnya vickers hardness rata-rata (Hv) pada pegas yang terjadi pada bahan I, II dan III adalah 274,5866 Hv, 120,8289 Hv dan 326,6700 Hv. Pada uji Tarik besarnya tegangan tarik (σB) pada pegas yang terjadi pada bahan I, II dan III adalah 101,48 Kgf/ , 105,49 Kgf/ dan 109,47 Kgf/.

Abstract

The chain is a series of links or rings that are connected or fixed so that they form vertically. Chains are used to move luggage or as a substitute for additional strength. One of the most commonly used chains is made of the hardest metal, steel. One is a chain roller mounted on an empty coil conveyor. This conveyor serves to carry empty coils to the shelter. The chain also plays a role in the distribution of materials from one place to another to make it more efficient. In this study, the authors tested five chain materials to determine the breaking stress and the factors that influence chain breaking. After the authors tested the steel chain material, the value of the chain tensile stress (σB), based on the test results after averaged was 880 Kgf/cm2, and the chain fracture stress (σF) after averaged was 764. is Kgf/. the average strain on the chain (ԑ) is 8.9°. Causes of chain breaks are overload, fatigue, improper heat treatment, improper design and manufacture, and lack of maintenance.

Abstract

Continuou Settling Tank (CST) is one of the units located at the clarification station where the CST works to separate oil and mud based on differences in specific gravity where the lighter density will go up, namely oil, while the heavy type will settle to the bottom, namely mud. The language here is how to make the construction of the agitator transmission in the Continuou Settling Tank (CST) unit and how the agitator blade influences the oil content contained in the sludge in the Continuou Settling Tank (CST) unit. The method is carried out with variations in the number of blades that open 2, 4 and 6 pieces. The specifications of the equipment data obtained are primary data resulting from the design of the Continuou Settling Tank (CST) tool. Based on the blade obtained two results the percentage of oil content of 10.85%. This shows that there is still oil content in the mud. Likewise, the blade that found four pieces was 8.678%. While on the blade that got six pieces, the average percentage of oil was 7.652%. This shows that the blades that have been opened six pieces have met the desired percentage of oil standards.
