Abstract

Banyak krisis ekologi terjadi di perdesaan, sementara visi Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) adalah menjadi pusat pengembangan sumberdaya perdesaan dan kearifan lokal. Idealnya, tenaga pendidik yang bernaung di Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unsoed dapat berkontribusi dalam memecahkan problem ekologis secara kultural lewat pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat. Untuk itu, diperlukan pemahaman atas konsep baru dalam dunia kritik sastra, yaitu ekokritisisme. Ekokritisisme bisa menjadi mode analisis terhadap teks kultural (sastra, film, gambar, dll.) sebagai respons atas krisis lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur dan mengetahui tingkat literasi tenaga pendidik atas konsep ekokritisisme dengan menggunakan gabungan metode kepustakaan dan pengambilan angket untuk data primer, serta wawancara untuk data sekunder. Secara keseluruhan, semua responden termasuk dalam kategori sedang untuk skor total kompetensi ekoliterasi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan kompetensi dosen, khususnya di lingkungan FIB Unsoed.

Abstract

Discourse is a part of communication that contains a though. The domination have a power to influence people to agree about the thoughs. Using the theory of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) by Norman Fairclough, this research reveals the domination of gender and the hidden ideology in video that uploaded by Vice Indonesia entitled” Polemik Poligami di Indonesia”. From the video, it can be seen that there is gender domination during the polygamy because women are not considere to do and have not the power to be fair. Thus, the ideology of patriarcky is clearly seen when the men have a power over their child and wife. Men are able to propagandize their family’s thoughs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk variasi leksikon suara burung yang digunakan oleh masayarakat Sunda, fungsi variasi leksikon suara burung, dan cerminan budaya dalam variasi leksikon suara burung tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, dilakukan studi pustaka mencatat percakapan di forum atau grup penghobi burung di media sosial Facebook. Data juga dikumpulkan dengan observasi di toko burung dan gantangan di wilayah Karawang. Selain itu, dilakukan juga wawancara dengan pertanyaan terbuka dan terarah, kepada pemilik toko burung, pelanggan, dan pengunjung gantangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa penggunaan variasi leksikon suara burung oleh masyarakat Sunda berbentuk kata ulang dan kata berimbuhan. Kata ulang yang digunakan berupa kata ulang trilingga, dwilingga, dwipurwa, dan kata ulang berimbuhan. Kata ulang ini erat kaitannya dengan onomatopea dari suara burung tersebut. Sedangkan penggunaan leksikon suara burung berbentuk kata berimbuhan berupa prefix N- dan sufiks -an. Leksikon berbentuk kata berimbuhan menunjukkan aktivitas bersuara yang dilakukan burung tersebut. Penggunaan variasi leksikon suara burung oleh masyarakat Sunda dalam percakapanya memiliki tiga fungsi, yaitu ekonomi, sosial, dan ekologi. Cerminan budaya yang terkandang dalam variasi leksikon suuara burung tersebut adalah masyarakat Sunda yang agraris sangat dekat dengan alam sekitarnya, khususnya burung.

Abstract

Kepriyayian identik dengan status sosial seseorang dalam pandangan masyarakat. Priyayi dipandang sebagai orang yang memiliki status sosial yang tinggi dan terpandang. Bisa karena keturunan dari keluarga terpandang ataupun karena memiliki pekerjaan yang berstatus sosial tinggi. Dalam novel Para Priyayi makna yang ideal tersebut dijungkirbalikkan oleh Umar Kayam. Penelitian ini menggunakan cara kerja teori dekonstruksi Derrida dengan menemukan oposisi-oposisi berlawanan pada novel Para Priyayi. Hasilnya dapat dilihat bahwa Umar Kayam menunjukkan bahwa kepriyayian bukanlah sekadar gaya hidup maupun status sosial, namun lebih kepada kepribadian itu sendiri, bagaimana seseorang berguna bagi masyarakat. Hal ini menjungkirbalikkan esensi makna priyayi yang telah tertanam kuat di hati dan pikiran masyarakat bahwa kepriyayian yang sangat lekat dengan gaya hidup maupun status sosial.Kata Kunci: dekonstruksi, priyayi, derrida, umar kayam, para priyayi.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this article is to compare the character of Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto in the tribunstyle.com article "Happy Birthday Prabowo Subianto, This is a Complete Profile, Original Traits and Heroic Actions of the Minister" and wikipedia.org "Prabowo Subianto" with the results of character analysis. based on his handwriting. This analysis is viewed from the aspects of baseline, text size, slant, margins, and spacing. The data in this article were obtained from three handwritten results by Prabowo Subianto. This article uses a qualitative descriptive method. Handwriting analysis will be described according to the characters found. The results of the analysis are that the handwriting of the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto has a normal baseline, normal writing size, italics to the right, uneven right margins, and normal spacing between words. This character is in accordance with the original character possessed by Prabowo described in the two articles. Keywords: Writing, Character, Prabowo, Size, Article. IntisariTujuan artikel ini adalah untuk membandingkan karakter Menteri Pertahanan Indonesia Prabowo Subianto yang ada dalam artikel tribunstyle.com “Selamat Ulang Tahun Prabowo Subianto, Ini Profil Lengkap, Sifat Asli Hingga Aksi Heroik Sang Menteri” dan wikipedia.org “Prabowo Subianto” dengan hasil analisis karakter berdasarkan tulisan tangannya. Analisis ini ditinjau dari aspek garis dasar, ukuran tulisan, kemiringan, margin, dan spasi. Data dalam artikel ini diperoleh dari tiga hasil tulisan tangan Prabowo Subianto. Artikel ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis tulisan tangan akan dideskripsikan sesuai karakter yang ditemukan.  Hasil analisis yang didapatkan yaitu tulisan tangan menteri pertahanan Prabowo Subianto memiliki garis dasar normal, ukuran tulisan normal, tulisan miring ke arah kanan, margin kanan tidak rata, dan spasi antar kata normal. Karakter ini sesuai dengan karakter asli yang dimiliki oleh Prabowo yang dijelaskan dalam dua artikel tersebut. Kata Kunci : Tulisan, Karakter, Prabowo, Ukuran, Artikel.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the language style of Rhoma Irama's song lyrics entitled "Citra Cinta". To study these lyrics, stylistic theory is used, which is an interdisciplinary linguistic theory whose object of study is literary works. The work steps used in this study are to apply stylistic work steps initiated by Pradopo, namely analyzing language style based on the units that build literary works, namely sound style, word style, sentence style, and discourse style. The results of the analysis show that the language style that builds the lyrics of the song "Citra Cinta" by Rhoma Irama cannot be separated independently because the lyrical discourse of the song is built by a coherent sound style, word style, and sentence style to build the discourse,  namely the value of love that is holy and noble.

Abstract

Using ethnics is an ethnic which is located in Banyuwangi and well-known due to its unique culture inheritance This research investigates the naming of restaurant in Banyuwangi especially which is located in Using ethnic in Indonesia. The study aimed to explore the meaning of each restaurant in Using ethnic in Banyuwangi. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The result of the study showed that there were two strategies used in naming restaurant such as divergence strategy and convergence strategy. The first strategy was done by using words taken from Using dialect, while convergence strategy took the Indonesian or foreign language in naming the restaurant. In Semantics sight, most of the words which are used in naming restaurants in Using ethnics represent the value, point of view, and identity of Using ethnic itself. So that, it can be concluded that the society of Using ethnic still maintain their identity strongly which is symbolized by finding many restaurants’ name which are still using Using dialect.

Abstract

Based on the available data, it turns out that there are still many non-compliance with the application of Indonesian spelling (EBI) in the “written variety”, even though the existence of EBI which began with Indonesian Spelling Completed) or (EYD) has been in effect since 1972, and their existence is definitely a Guidebook. In connection with this fact, it is necessary to make an effort to prove it, because from several literature sources no one has specifically discussed it. The research was carried out in three strategic stages: (1) data collection stage, (2) data classification and analysis, and (3) report preparation. Data collection is done by listening to the technique of recording on a reading card, so that the data source focuses on the written source. The data classification and analysis stage is based on: 1) the use of the spelling writing system, and 2) the use of the punctuation writing system (in the text as a data source). Data analysis uses linguistic theory in the fields of: phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics because the use of the spelling writing system and the use of the punctuation writing system refers to the text. The last stage is the preparation / preparation of reports. The results of the analysis show that the existence of EBI as a guide for writing is still far from what is expected, so it is necessary to realize that what is called: the use of a spelling writing system and the use of a punctuation writing system in written variety is binding, that is, it must be understood, obeyed, obeyed, and applied by the every Indonesian speaker.

Abstract

This research is based on the short story "Yang Mulia" by Insan Budi Maulana, indicated to reflect the reality of law enforcement practices.  There are unethical practices carried out by law enforcers (judges). This unethical practice becomes biased because it is done by many people and becomes collective knowledge. Therefore, the problem in this study is how the inner turmoil of the characters (id, ego, superego) in the short story. Does Hakim Subakti work to have integrity or is he hesitant to face temptation. This study aims to reveal the id, ego, superego of the characters in the short story. The research approach used was Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis. The qualitative descriptive research method was used to analyze the data. The words, phrases and sentences in the short stories are interpreted with a literary psychology approach. The results showed that Hakim Subakti's inner turmoil when he was rewarded by party litigants. Money (reward) is able to change a judge who initially has integrity (superego dominant), becomes doubtful and tempted (toward the id and dominant ego).

Abstract

This study is entitled Analysis of Sentence Structure and Patterns in the Writing of Children with Moderate Intellectual Disabilities IQ 40-50: Syntax Study. The purpose is to determine the writing ability of children with mental retardation by analyzing structure and pattern of sentences obtained from them essays. The data in this study were obtained using listening techniques and skillful fishing techniques. The method used is the orthographic equivalent method. In addition, researchers also used the Distribusional Agih method with the BUL technique. Sources of data obtained in this study came from students of Purnama Asih Special School, people with moderate mental retardation with an average IQ of 40-50 as informants. The results showed that the types of writing for children with mental retardation included single sentences, equivalent compound sentences, and multilevel compound sentences. Equivalent compound sentences and multi-level compound sentences often appear imperfectly.
