Abstract

Abstract: Enhancing Listening Ability to Restate News Highlights Through Buzz Group Discussion Method of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Kahu Bone Regency. This study aimed to examine the ability to pay attention in restating the headlines through the discussion method of buzz groups of students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 kahu Bone Regency. This research was a class action research. Data collection techniques were observation and assignment through restating the main points of news highlights after applying the buzz group discussion technique. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, and the learning outcomes data that were restating the news highlights were analyzed descriptively quantitative. The results showed that the application of the buzz group discussion method on restating the news highlights at the planning, implementation, and outcome stages had increased. This could be seen in the activities of students and teachers in the application of the buzz group technique discussion in the first cycle were still categorized as less active. In cycle II there was a change in the process that showed average in the active category. In the first cycle, the average value of 73.5 and included in the category that experienced an increase in the second cycle with an average value of 84.9 and included in the high category. Based on the results of research, Indonesian language teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Kahu Bone Regency should use maximum learning methods, so that students were more active in the learning process. Indonesian teachers could use the buzz group discussion method in enhancing listening ability to restate news highlights.Keywords: Improvement, Listening News Highlights, Buzz Groups Technique

Abstract

Abstract: Application of the PAKEM Method through Blog Media to Improve Poetry Writing Skills in Class X Students of SMA Negeri 10 Bone. This study aims to determine the application of the Pakem method through the blog method in improving poetry writing skills in class X students at SMA Negeri 10 Bone. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects in this study were 30 students of class X SMA Negeri 10 Bone. Data obtained by field notes, observation sheets, tests, interviews, and photo documentation. Using quantitative and qualitative data. The test result data shows that the average value obtained by students in the first cycle is 50 with a complete score of 20% and 60% and 20% for students who do not participate in writing poetry activities. As for the second cycle, the average value was 81 with a complete score of 90% and an incomplete score of 10%. The percentage increase in completeness from cycle I to cycle II was 31% and classically students get an average score above 75. The results achieved have met the predetermined targets. The increase in the average score is to support learning to write poetry through the PAKEM method with blog media.Keywords: Pakem Method, Media Blog, poetry.

Abstract

This study aims to improve reading comprehension skills of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Malino through the use of the SQ3R learning model with reference to 2 criteria, namely student learning outcomes and observation of student and teacher activities. This type of research uses classroom action research, with a design activity of 2 meetings with 2 cycles. Data collection techniques used were tests and observations, then analyzed using percentage statistics. The percentage of completeness obtained is in the first syllable of the Survey stage 57.69% (C), the Questions stage 53.84% (K), the Read stage 53.84% (K), the Recall stage 46.15% (K), and the Reviuw 30.76% (K). Meanwhile, in cycle II the percentage of completeness obtained is the Survey stage 84% (B), the Questions stage 84.61% (B), the Read stage 76.92% (B), the Recall stage 76.92% (B), and the Reviuw 84.61% (B). The results showed that learning to read comprehension using the SQ3R model has shown a significant improvement so it is appropriate to use it in reading comprehension learning material in class V SD Negeri 2 Malino.Keywords: Reading comprehension, SQ3R

Abstract

Abstract: Increasing Children's Creativity through Children's Picture Cards 4-5 Yrs at Renggang Paud Center, Gowa Regency. This research enhances children's creativity through picture card media in early childhood Renggang PAUD Center Gowa Regency. This type of research used in research using PTK classroom action research. The subjects of this class action research are students aged 4-5 years with a total of 12 children consisting of 7 boys and 5 girls. The data consists of tests, questionnaires or questionnaires, interviews, observations, multilevel scale, and documentation. The results of this study indicate an increase in the ability to recognize images by using a picture card media in early childhood in the Renggang PAUD Center Gowa Regency after learning. 2 children who began to develop or recognize the picture as much as 7%.Keywords: creativity, games, picture cards.

Abstract

Abstract: Improving the Students’ Ability to Write Descriptive Paragraph Through Intrapersonal Intelligence Strategy. Improving the Students’ Ability to Write Descriptive Paragraph Through Intrapersonal Intelligence Strategy. This research was aimed at finding out whether or not the use of intrapersonal intelligence strategy improves the ability in writing descriptive paragraph of the second year students of Indonesian junior high school. This research employed a quasi experimental method, with one group pre-test and post-test. The result of this research shows that the students’ post-test score for experimental group was higher than the students’ post-test score for control group. it was proved by the result of post-test mean score of experimental group (80.20) that was higher than the control group (70.l0). It is also proved by the value of t-test which was higher than the value of t-table (4.913>2.000). Based on the finding and discussion of the study, the researcher concluded that Intrapersonal Intelligence Strategy is significant to improve the students writing ability to write descriptive paragraph of the second year students of Indonesian junior high school.Keywords: Intrapersonal intelligence, writing.

Abstract

Abstract: Application of Project Based Learning Learning Model Based on 21st Century Learning in Improving Students' Writing Skills in Gowa Regency. This study aims to describe the application of the 21st century learning-based project based learning model in improving students' writing skills in Gowa Regency. This study used a Classroom Action Research (PTK) design. This research was conducted at SDN Sungguminasa II Kab. Gowa. There are 26 grade IV students consisting of 13 female students and 13 male students. The research time was carried out for four weeks. This research procedure was carried out through a classroom action research design consisting of cycle I and cycle II. The data collection techniques used in this classroom action research are as follows: Observation, Tests, and Documentation. The data analysis technique in this study was obtained by analyzing and managing data. Data analysis in this study was carried out by classifying teacher and student aspects. The technique used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Furthermore, determining the indicators of success in research include process and outcome indicators. The results showed that the Project Based Learning model was effectively used to improve learning outcomes for writing at SD Gowa Regency. This is evidenced by the average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 60.8% in the low category with a maximum value of 70, while the minimum score is 50. The number of students who did not complete was 19 out of 26 students. There was an increase in cycle II with the average value of student learning outcomes of 100% with a maximum value of 85, while the minimum score was 70 and all students achieved complete completion of the total number of students.Keywords: Project Based Learning, 21st Century, Writing

Abstract

Abstract: Increasing Children's Creativity Through Collage Techniques. This study aims to increase children's creativity through collage techniques using garlic peels in children aged 4-5 years in Group A PAUD Melati Putih, Kel. Duri Pulo, Central Jakarta. This research is a classroom action research that follows the Hopkins model. This research includes 2 cycles where each cycle includes 4 stages, namely planning (planning), acting (implementing), observing (observation) and reflecting (reflection). The time of this research was in May 2019 and July 2019 with 12 children as research subjects, while to obtain actual information the data was collected through tests, interviews and observations. The results showed that the children's creativity had increased after being given a collage activity where the children were able to stick and arrange the garlic skin well according to the pattern. The use of garlic skin collage is also able to stimulate aspects of creativity including: fluency, flexibility, authenticity and detail in children.Keywords: children's creativity, collage technique

Abstract

Abstract: the Application of Experimental Methods in an Effort to Improve Science Process Skills in Early childhood. This study aims to improve science process skills of the child through the method of experiment group B Kindergarten. Arya Jaya Sentika Kab. Tangerang. The design of this research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively in two cycles. The subject of this research is a child of class B TK. Arya Jaya Sentika Kab. Tangerang, with a student population of as many as 15 children. Data collection methods conducted in this research is observation,documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive, quantitative and qualitative. The results of this study shows the application of the experimental method can improve the science process skills of students in kindergarten Arya Jaya Sentika Group B. It is based on the data obtained that at the stage of pre action the percentage achieving a 38.6 % is in the criteria began to develop (MB), then increased in cycle I become 55,33% is in the criteria developed according to expectations (BSH), In cycle II the percentage of achievement of science process skills of the child increased to 83% is in the criteria developed very well (BSB).Keywords : experimental method, science process skills.

Abstract: Implementation of Color Mixing Activities in Shaping the Simple Science Skills of the Bungoro State Trustees. This research aims to form science skills through the implementation of color mixing activities in the Bungoro State Development Kindergarten. Classroom action research. Subjects in the study were 21 students and 2 teachers. Data collection techniques are observation and interview. Analysis of the data used descriptive analysis. The results of observations in the first cycle conducted on students with indicators of conducting science experiments by doing the activity of mixing the basic colors of red + blue + yellow. Of the 21 students observed there were 7 students in the very well developed category (BSB). In the category of developing according to expectations (BSH) there are 3 students, In the category of developing (MB) there are 5 students, while undeveloped (BB) there are categories of 6 students. The results of the second cycle observations conducted on students with indicators of conducting science experiments by doing the activity of mixing the basic colors of red + blue + yellow. Of the 21 students observed there were 9 students in the very well developed category (BSB). In the category of developing according to expectations (BSH) there are 8 students, In the category of developing (MB) there are 3 students, while undeveloped (BB) there are categories of 1 students.              Keywords: Implementation of color mixing, science skills.

Abstract

Improving Speaking Skills through Group Discussion Activities with Probing Prompting Techniques for Class X Students of SMA Negeri 3 Makassar. This study aims to improve speaking skills through group discussion activities with the probing prompting technique for class X.2 students of SMA Negeri 3 Makassar. This type of research is a class action research (class action reaserch) which consists of 2 cycles where each cycle is carried out only two meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were 33 students of class X.2 SMA Negeri 3 Makassar. The data collection techniques used in this study were: tests, observation sheets and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in speaking skills through group discussion activities with the probing prompting technique in class X.2 SMA Negeri 3 Makassar in giving the test cycle I obtained an average score of 72.06 with a percentage of 73% and increased in the second cycle 79 test. , 93 with a percentage of 80.0%.
