Abstract

Learning English is the activity for getting the knowledge about English. English should be learned since the beginner level to the advance level. There are some characteristics of students in learning process at classroom, such as they can pay attention to the teacher, and have purpose in learn. It is called Self-Regulated Learning. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative research. The setting of this research is FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang. There were five classes English Language Department at Fourth Year English Language Department. From five class, there were choosing 30 students for the participant. In choosing the participants the researcher used purposive sampling. The researcher used questionnaire to collect the data, and used peer debriefing to check the trustworthiness of the data. The result showed that process of self-regulated learning that used by students were goal setting, planning, self-motivation, attention control, self-monitoring, help-seeking, and self-evaluation. The highest of total value was goal setting 440, self-monitoring with the total value 420, self-evaluation with the total value 410, self-motivation with the total value 392, help-seeking with the total value 306, planning with the total value 305, and the least is attention control with the total value 300. The highest of total value of self-regulated learning was goal setting. So, it can be concluded that the fourth year students of FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang had applied the process of self-regulated learning, the most implemented process was goal setting and the least process was attention control.  Keywords: Self – Regulated Learning, Learning English

Abstract

This study attempts to know what the of the application of VCT (Value Clarification Technique) learning model to the problem solving skills of V A as a class experimentation and class V B as a class control use the model learning directly to sdn attack 2 years lessons 2016/2017 on the subjects of science social especially in competence basic 2.4 appreciate the struggle of the characters in defending freedom. Methods used in research this is the method quasi ekperimen type nonequivalent control group design. Based on the results of research, show that there is a difference in problem-solving abilities between students using VCT learning models and students using direct learning models, can be seen from uji-t two parties namely 2,57 > 2,013, then H0 rejected Ha accepted. Problem-solving skills among students using a VCT learning model is higher than students who use learning model directly , can be seen from uji-t one parties that 2,57 > 1,673, so H0 rejected Ha accepted. So it will be concluded that there are differences in problem-solving abilities between students using VCT (value clarification technique) learning models with students using direct learning model.Keywords: Problem Solving, Value Clarification Technique  Learning Model.

Abstract

Application of Problem Based Learning model to improve the learning outcomes proudly in the area where I live. Thesis study program of elementary school teacher education faculty teacher and education Pakuan Bogor Univercity 2018. This study with the design and model of Classroom Action Research (CAR) Conducted Collaboratively Between Researchess and observer and the subject studied. The purpose proud subtheme learning outcomes to my area of reasidence in grade 4 through the application of Problem Based Learning model. The subject of this research is the 4th grader of the public elementary school 01 Nagrak Gunung Putri district of Bogor Consisting of 39 students the implementation of this research is carried 2017/2018. The results showed that the average value of the learning process assessment in the cycle I of 78,25, cycle II 83,5 and the cycle III 90 with success indicators that is 81, observation cycle I of 60,9, cycle II 76,09 and cycle III 93,17 achievement indicator that is 81. Completeness of students learning result cycle I reach 36%, cycle II 64,11% and cycle III equal to 92%indicator of success 75% KKM value 75 based on the results of this studies, it can be concluded that the application of problem based learning model can improve the process of learning process and improve learning outcomes on proud subtema to my residence in grade 4 student of the public elementary school 01 Nagrak Gunung Putri district of bogor in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018.  Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning model, the learning outcomes proudly in the area where I live

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between parenting towards students’ eemotional intelligence. The researsh applies survey method with correlation approach. The data are obtained from the population sample of Pondok Rumput elementary school, Bogor. The result of the trial shows that parenting variable consisting of 50 items tested have 37 valid items, 13 items are not valid with realibility coefficient of 0.781. Meanwhile, emotional intelligence variable consisting of 50 items tested have 35 valid items, and 15 items are not valid with realibility coefficient of 0.804. The result of the study shows that there is correlation between emotional intelligent towards parenting based on the statistical analysis. Hence, one of the efforts to develop the students’ emotional intelligence is by improving parental care.Keywords: parenting, emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Parenting patterns of parenting are the ways and habits that parents do and feel by children, so the pattern will certainly be different on every parent. The aim of this research is to know the parenting pattern of the parent to the blind children with achievement of the blind student with achievement. Sample is taken by looking for SLB-A (blind) in Bogor. This research method is carried out by case study method. Data analysis is an effort done by working with data, organizing data, sorting it into manageable units, synthesizing it, finding and finding patterns, finding what is important and what is learned, and deciding what can be told to others. The result of the research about parenting pattern of the blind children with the achievement of elementary school age shows that the pattern of care is the great potential that make up the achievement of the blind child. Not only one form of parenting, but consists of several parenting patterns, including the pattern of foster democracy, laissez faire care, self-melt parenting, manipulation parenting, parenting patterns, parenting over the role and parenting consultant.Keywords: Patterns of Care, Blind, Achievement.

Abstract

This research uses qualitative method with descriptive design. The purpose of this study is to identify the students’s learning interest in the courses of learning strategy based E-Learning. This research was conducted to the students of primary school teacher education in faculty of teacher training and education study program, Pakuan University, Bogor. The data source of this research is the lecturers of the subjects of learning strategy in the Primary School Teacher Education. Informants in this study are the students of the primary school teacher education which registered as active student for academic 2013/2014. The results showed that all indicators of learning interest is well achieved. The involvement scored 4.2. the attention scored 4.2;   the interest scored 4.1; and happiness scored 4.3. Based on the results of the percent, the results of all learning interest indicators achieved more than 60% of the involvement score is  67% , the attention is 86%;  the interest is 75% ; and happiness is  the highest result. It got 90%.Keywords: learning interest, e-learning based learning strategy.

Abstract

This research belongs to correlation research. It consists of interpersonal communication as independent variable and learning activities as dependent variable. This study is aimed to know the correlation of interpersonal communication and learning activities of social sciences. This research was conducted in March 2018 and used survey research with correlational approach. The subject of this research is the students of grade V of Ciluar, in Bogor. The population of this research are 53 respondents. Data analysis techniques used are simple regression and correlation analysis techniques. The technique of simple regression and correlation analysis yields a model of correlation which is expressed in the form of regression equation that is Ŷ = 24,307 + 0,7164X, with price F count equal to 63,83 bigger than F tabel with real level 0,05 equal 4,03, and contribution based the results of research by 56%, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant correlation between interpersonal communication and students' learning activities of Social Sciences. Learning includes transmitting information and communication therefore, from this research, a conclusion can be drawn that interpersonal communication should be possessed by each learner in the learning process. A teacher plays an important drawn in developing interpersonal communication skill and this can be achieved through the application of various learning models.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication,  Learning Activities of social sciences.

Abstract

The purpose of this is to determine the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in class VIII MTsN Bogor, taught using the Role Playing method. The form of research used is Classroom Action Research. Presented in the third cycle, each cycle consists of 4 stages, planning, implementing, observing and refining. Data colection tecniques in the form of test questions with 10 items formed essays and indirect observation activities. The result of the study are obtained from the average value of student learning out comes cycle I was 52 with a percentage of 42,42% and increased in cycle II to 66,5%  with a percentage of 78,78%  and incerseted in cycle III to 66,5 with a percentage of 78.78%.

Abstract

This research is with the design and model of Quantitative Research of Correlational Studies. The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between self-concept and students discipline of students in V grade students of Kota Batu 02 State Elementary School Ciomas District Bogor Regency. The subject of this research is 80 students of class V Kota Batu 02 State Elementary School Ciomas District Bogor Regency. This research was conducted on the odd semester of Lesson 2018/2019. The results showed that the average of self-concept variable is 89,88, while the students discipline variable has an average of 90,95 thus the relationship of self-concept with students discipline in statistical analysis is indicated by the result of significance test and regression with regression equation Ŷ =48,374 + 0,4737x. This means that each increase of one students discipline variable value is 0,4737 units. The strength of the relationship between self-concept and students discipline is shown by the correlation coefficient with r value of 0,48 which means have a relationship. The magnitude of the contribution of self-concept with students discipline is shown by the coefficient (r²) of 0,23 with the coefficient of determination of 23%. This means that the increase or decrease in students discipline has a relationship by self-concept by 23%. Based on the results of the above research can be concluded that the relationship between self-concept and discipline of students in class V Kota Batu 02 State Element 02 Bogor Regency have a relationship.

Abstract

This research study aims to systematically review a variety of digital technologies that are currently developing so rapidly to be optimally utilized according to the ability of teachers and technological devices owned by schools, teachers, and students. This study uses the method of review of integrative literature. This method combines various empirical and research-based articles, books, and other published literature on digital competencies and their use in 21st century education. The literature research concludes: 1) Digital literacy is the awareness, attitude, and ability of individuals to properly use tools and digital facilities to identify, access, manage, integrate, evaluate, analyze, and synthesize digital resources, build new knowledge, make media expressions, and communicate with others, in the context of certain life situations, to enable constructive social action; 2) Digital competency is a set of knowledge, skills, attitudes needed when using ICT and digital media for various needs; 3) Digital technology that can be used by schools / teachers in the learning process including interactive whiteboards (IWB), software applications, Web 2.0, and social media; and 4) Utilization of digital technology in learning can increase students' interest and motivation in learning, the quality of learning processes, and learning outcomes, but need to pay attention to various aspects of the ability of human resources, security, and health of teachers and students.
