Abstract

Mobile marketing offers great opportunities for businesses wich can comunicate directly with their consumers without time or location barriers. Many factors influencing advertising message of mobile marketing still need further investigation. Mobile advertising addresses consumers with induvidualized advertising messages via mobile device. In this case, in order to know the effectivenees of advertising via SMS, it can be traced by looking at the advertising value. This research attempts to analyse the influence of entertaiment, informativeness, irritation, and credibility toward advertising value, and advertising value toward consumers attitude on advertising via SMS. The result show that entertaiment, informativeness, and credibility have positive influence and irritaion have negative influence toward advertising value. Advertising value have positif influence toward consumers attitude for advertising via SMS.

Abstract

This research use experimental method, the experimental designs examine two variables which will compare in the result. In this research there are two kind of two pricing strategy, there are price discount and price ending. Each strategy will compare two variable, there are buying attitude and intention. The numbers of sample are 80 participants from student senior high school. In this research there are two groups of treatment, group A and group B. To measure the result used One-way ANOVA. And then, to measure the relation between variable regression linear used as the examination supporting tool. According to the result, finds that: costumer attitude to the price ending more highly than to the price discount; costumer intention to the price ending more highly than to the price discount; there is costumer intention positive attitude in price ending type.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare between sharia banking performance and non-sharia banking performance in Indonesia. The tool of analysis include five components of financial ratios: (1) Capital Adequacy Ratio, (2) Non Performing Loan, (3) Return on Asset and Return on Equity, (4) Efficiency Ratio and (5) Loan to Deposit Ratio. This research use statistic tools of independent sample t-test. The result of this study are: (1) the study found the difference of Capital Adequacy Ratio between Sharia Banking and Non-Sharia Banking, (2) there is no difference about non performing loan between sharia banking and non-Sharia banking (3) there is no difference about ROA and ROE between sharia banking and non-Sharia banking, (4) there is no difference about efficiency ratio between sharia banking and non-Sharia banking, (5) there is no difference about loan to deposit ratio between sharia banking and non-Sharia banking and (6) there is no difference about total score of sharia banking performance and non-sharia banking performance. Although there is no significant difference, the total score of non-sharia banking performance is higher than sharia banking.

Abstract

Globalization has strong influence on SMEs business and some see this phenomenon as an opportunity to expand. Improved technology and communications have made it easier for firms of all sizes and in various locations to do business with each other. More businesses today including SMEs are pursuit foreign market for the reason of business growth. Palm sugar is the main product of Banyumas Regency and its market coverage ranging from domestic to foreign market. This research is aimed to understand the process of internationalization, how the resources are should be organized to reach foreign market. Research strategy used is case study since its complexity of the phenomena. This case study of SMEs illustrate the process of market internationalization and provides useful insight for both government and SMEs which are intend to enter foreign markets.

Abstract

Researches on the influence of financial performance toward corporate value have been widely conducted and showed different results. In several researches, financial performance, which is measured by profitability ratio has a positive effect on corporate value. However there are also some findings that profitability has a negative effect. Researcher predicted that there are other influencing factors. This condition drives researcher to use Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The aim of this research is to examine the influence of financial performance which is measured by profitability ratio, liquidity ratio, leverage ratio, and activity ratio toward corporate value by considering Corporate Social Responsibility as moderating variables. The population of this research are corporates which have been the winner of ISRA (Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Award) and also listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Hypothesis is tested by regression analysis to find out the interactive influence of the moderating variables. The corporate value is measured by Price to Book Value (PBV), while disclosure of CSR is measured by CSR Index. The results indicate that ROE, DER, TATO and the disclosure of CSR has a positive effect toward corporate value, CR has no effect toward corporate value, and the disclosure of CSR is not able to moderate relation between financial performance toward

Abstract

The study entitled ”The Study of Debt Implications on Performance of Purbalingga Drinking Water Company (PDAM)” aims to identify and analyze the condition of Purbalingga PDAM debt, debt management performance in PDAM Purbalingga, financial performance and operational performance. Data obtained by doing library research and interviews. The data used in the form of secondary data obtained from PDAM Purbalingga. To know and analyze the condition of PDAM debt Purbalingga used descriptive analysis using data tabulation. To know and analyze the performance of debt management used financial ratios Debt to Total Asset Ratio, DER, ROI, ROE and Cost of principal repayment and interest expenses are analyzed using data tabulation. To know the financial and operational performance of PDAM Purbalingga used ratio analysis according to Kep.Mendagri No. 147, tahun 1999. The research concluded that during the study period PDAM Purbalingga short-term debt burden is very large due liabilities to long-term debt maturities. The average number of debt to total assets ratio of 0.5, DER of 1.12, an ROI of 3.37 percent, ROE of 7.05 percent, and based on the analysis of principal and interest expense is known that the average principal repayment and mature flowers are borne PDAM Purbalingga during the study period amounted to USD. 5,215,715,190.81 only a little difference to the overall operational costs are borne by PDAM Purbalingga Rp. 8,101,085,750.91. Assessment of financial and operational performance of PDAM Purbalingga rated "sufficient" while the operational performance is considered "poorly".

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) To obtain an overview of consumer’s knowledge level of the environmental information on eco-friendly product. 2) To obtain an overview of consumers attitude towards consumption behavior impact on the environment. 3) Knowing the effect of consumer’s knowledge and Consumer attitudes towards the environment on eco-friendly product purchasing decisions. Descriptive qualitative analysis and multiple linier regression analysis used to analyze the data. The results of 80 respondents indicate that 1) the level of consumer’s knowledge on the environmental information on product packing is low. 2) Consumers attitudes towards consumption behavior impact on the environment is positive. 3) There is no positive effect of consumer’s knowledge to ward eco-friendly product purchasing decisions. 4) There is a positive effect of consumer’s attitudes toward eco-friendly product purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The research that entitled “Analisis Beberapa Variabel yang Mempengaruhi Profitabilitas pada Perusahaan Makanan dan Minuman yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia” is a case study that aims to acknowledge and analyze whether there is influence of the size of companies, debt equity ratio (DER), the growth of profits, and sales of profitability. Then, it will also analyze the variables affecting the profitability of the company among size, debt equity ratio, the growth of profits, and sales. Sampling method used in this research is the purposive sampling method, consisting 14 sample food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange. Using multiple regression analysis, t test, and F test in testing, both simultaneously and partially, and the elasticity test to find out which the independent variables having the greatest impact, it can be inferred that there is significance influence from debt to equity ratio (DER), the growth of profits, and sales of profitability. Next, the sale is the independent variable that has the greatest influence on profitability. Therefore, the company should pay more attention to the sales policy. The increased sales may be as consideration for investors to be able to invest in the company.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is an appropriate answer to PT PDAM Tirta Dharma Banyumas to deal with its changing environment. It is also in line with PT PDAM Tirta Dharma Banyumas’s vision, mission, target, and strategy. The objectives of this final project are to analyze key dimensions of intrapreneurship within PT PDAM Tirta Dharma Banyumas, and to analyze the importance of entrepreneurial leadership and its execution in PT PDAM Tirta Dharma Banyumas. This study was conducted through survey method, using questionaires EOS and ELQ which distributed to PT PDAM Tirta Dharma Banyumas’s employees. EOS is used to measure the entrepreneurial environment at PT PDAM Tirta Dharma Banyumas. Its key dimensions are My Company, Strategic Planning, Support for New Idea, Market Intelligence, Risk Aversion, Speed, Flexibility, The Future, and Personal Orientation.
