Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

AbstractThis research was initiated by the implementation of music art learning based on syllabus of curriculum 2013, in the ensemble music lesson it was found that teacher still use conventional methods of teaching. The role of teacher is not demonstration samples to student is not correct, teachers also have not untilized the media to proride teaching materials to students. This has an impact on the value of students who are still less good is 60% of students get grades under the KKM and also 40% of students get a fitting value on KKM. The purpose of this research is to describe what  elements and effects of audio visual media on learning to play ensemble music.The type of this research is descriptive by using qualitative approach, the object of this research is a students of 8th grade of SMP N 5 Pariaman. In this case reseaechers suggest to teachers to use audio visual media in conveying the material that will be taught to students is learning to play ensemble music.Bused on this research, the following results are obtained: first, the elements of audio visual media itself, form; a. its easy to move; b. can be replayed or overheard and viewed again and again; c. make students really understand the conten of the subject matter with more indepth analysis and make students think more specific about the subject matter; d. can overcomethe limited experience possessed by learnes; e. can stimulate active participation of hearing students, and can develop imagination such as writing, drawing and etc; f. audio visual media allows for  interaction between learness and the surrounding environment; and g. increase the attractiveness and attention of students. The second results, there was a change of attitude toward students in learning, what is shown through student behavior becomes more serious, passionate about learning, and the student score rose to 60% of the students were in the KKM and 40% of the students were above the KKM.Key Words: Media, Audio visual, Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims at finding out and describing students interests in danding, one of the extracurricular activities offered at SMPN 1 Tempuling Desa Sungai Salak Kecamatan Tempuling Riau. Descriptive approach was applied in this qualitative study. The objects were 15 students of the dancing class. Data were obtained from documentation, interview, and observation. They were analyzed by using the presentation analysis technique as proposed by Sudjana.This research was conducted on November-Desember of 2016. From the observation of the students activity, 3 indicators were used. They were willingness, attention, and participation. The instrument included 6 statements about the students willingness, 9 statements related to their attention, and 5 statements about their participation. Whether they did or not do what was described in the statement was analyzed in this research. The research result shows that from meeting I to meeting VI, the students score was 51,9 %. Abstract

AbstrackThe purpose of Students at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang unwillingly attended self-development activities of dancing class. Students were less serious in attending self-development of dancing class during learning. The purpose of this study was to describe students' perceptions on self-development activities of dancing class at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang.This research type was qualitative research which used descriptive approach. The population of this research was the students of grade VII at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang who joined self-development activities of dancing class. The research used primary data. In collecting the data in the field, observation sheets, interviews and cameras were used as the instruments of the research.The findings of this research showed that students 'perceptions on self-development activities of dancing class in SMP N 2 Padang Panjang were, the students' intentions and talents to join the activities, but they did not agree with the teacher’s way and material selection. As a result, the students thought that the activity was boring. The indicators of students' perceptions at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang were 1) the acceptance of students in which the students were interested and talented but they could not focus due to the hasty way of teachers so that students could not understand the material well and they could not express their talent well, 2) Students’ understanding in which the students were not familiar with dance material given by using video; the students did not want to do it, 3) students’ assessment in which students like their teachers but the hasty and repeated way the teachers used in delivering the materials made students feel bored.   Keywords: Student's Perception on Self Development Activities of DancingAbstrack The purpose of Students at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang unwillingly attended self-development activities of dancing class. Abstract

AbstrackThe purpose of this research was to describe the Presentation Form of Reog Ponorogo in Jorong Koto Agung Nagari Sungai Duo Sitiung District, Dharmasraya Regency. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive method. This method could fulfill, reveal and document the ways which were used to obtain data in the field. The object of the research was Reog Ponorogo in Jorong Koto Agung Nagari Sungai Duo Sitiung District, Dharmasraya Regency. The instrument of this research was the researcher assisted by stationery and camera. The data were collected by conducting literature study, observation, interview and documentation. The technique of data analysis was the technique of primary data tabulation that was initiated by the fieldwork process to the stage of identifying data in formal themes which were equipped with secondary data. The result of this research was that the presentation form of Reog Ponorogo was non representative. It was seen through the elements of dance presentation that is motion, dancer, floor pattern, music, costume, makeup, property, time and place of the performance. The presentation form of Reog Ponorogo in Jorong Koto Agung Nagari Sungai Duo has 3 forms of dance including Jathilan, Bujang Ganong and Singo Barong. Keywords: Reog Ponorogo and Jorong Koto Agung Nagari Sungai Duo.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe the use of drilling method in teaching local music for 7th grade studens at SMP 8 Padang. Each learning activity consists of three meetings. The instruments of this research were the researcher herself as the observer, interview guidance and documents. The type of this research is qualitative research. The object were all students in class VII-1. The data were collected and analyzed based on the problem of the research. The research result shows that drilling method used in Cakdindin song has a significant effect toward improving the student’s ability. The learning activities were done in several phases in order to train the students and show a good learning result. Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this study is to describe the implementation of the extracurricular Drumband in SMPN 15 Padang. The type of research used is qualitative research that emphasizes the qualitative descriptive approach. This means that research data in accordance with existing on the object under study, the activity drumband in SMPN 15 Padang. The research data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation through data collecting instrument in the form of stationery and photo media / video recording data. The findings of the study indicate that although drumband practice at SMPN 15 Padang is well managed, there is a problem in the student participation in this activity. At the beginning of recruitment participants, usually students who are interested to follow drumband quite a lot. But over time many do not continue keiikutsernya it. After being reviewed in the field, the problem of lack of competing activities, lack of coach condition, and equipment that is not well maintained is the problem point in the extracurricular activities of Drumband at SMPN 15 Padang.Keywords: Implementation, extracurricular activities, Drum Band

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to reveal and explain the impact of exploration on dance lessons in SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok. This research will trace the learning process of dance by using exploration. The type of this research is qualitative with descriptive method of analysis, because this research tries to make description, description about a real situation which is in accordance with reality. Data obtained by direct observation and interview, test techniques are not required in this study. The main instrument in this study is the researchers themselves, who became the object of this study is the students of class VIII-B in SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok. From the result of this research, it is concluded that in the learning of traditional dance in SMP Negeri 4 Kota Solok, the exploration has an impact on supporting the imagination, and the creative power and the ability of students in giving birth to new movements which is the development of motif of traditional dance movement. Another impact is the appearance of self-confidence in students, students have the ability to express simple dance moves performed in groups. Keywords: Exploration, Dance Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis article aimed to describe the implementation of 2013 Curriculum in the Art and Culture subject at SMPN 2 Payakumbuh by investigating the teacher’s lesson plan and looking at how the learning process took place. This qualitative research were a teacher of the Art and Culture subject in class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. The instrument of the research was the researcher herself, stationaries, a camera and mobile phones. The data collected were in the form of primary and secondary data. They were obtained through observation, interview, librabry study, and documentation study. Data analysis was done by classifying, displaying and describing the data and then drawing conclusions. The result of the research indicate that the Art and Culture teacher of SMP Negeri 2 Payakumbuh has worked hard to meet the target 0f 2013 curriculum and she has applied the curriculum in accordance with its guidelines. The implementation of the curriculum covers the plan and the learning process that relate to instructional materials, learning methods, learning strategies, media, and learning sources.Keywords: Implementation, 2013 Curriculum, Art and Culture

Abstract

AbstractThis research is initiated by the lack of creativity of deaf childern in self development activities of dancing classat SLB Negeri 2 Padang at the beginning of the researcher’s observation. It was found that the children only imitated, followed and memorized the movement taught by the teacher.  Therefore, the teacher made some efforts to cultivate the creativity of deaf children. The purpose of this research was to describe the teacher’s way to foster the children’s creativity in self-development activities of dancing class at SLB Negeri 2 Padang. The type of this research was qualitative research using descriptive method. The objects of this research were 5 deaf children in self development activities of dancing art at SLB Negeri 2 Padang. The data were collected through interviews and observations. After that, the data were analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The findings of the research are: 1. Teacher's efforts to foster the creativity of deaf students were as follow: a) to use visual stimuli, b) to guide exploration, and c) to provide reinforcement. 2. The improvement of student creativity had an impact on: a) students’ concentration, b) the emergence of students’ self-confidence, and c) students' dancing abilities. Through the visual stimulation, the children were able to explore the movement guided by the teacher, to adjust the calculation, to memorize the motion and to adjust to the accompaniment. Students are able to create simple movements and able to develop them into several movements. Students were able to demonstrate the dance with a variety of movements in accordance with the level of their motor skills as well as to build a good concentration in receiving the dance materials. Students were more confident and enthusiastic because of the reinforcement given by the teacher. Students showed high enthusiasm in creating movements according to the creative imagination through guidance from the teacher. Keywords: Creativity, Deaf, Dance Self Development.

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to finding out and describe the implementation of exersice method using quiz in cultural and art subject for student grade VIII at SMP N 2 Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The design of the research was descriptive research by using qualitative approach. The object of the research were 4th grade student at SMP N 2 Painan. There were 20 students. The instrument was the researcher herself using stationary, camera and observation sheet. The research was conducted by observing the teacher while she is teaching and implementing the quiz. The data were collected through observation, interview, documentation and library research. The result of the research shows that the implementation of exercise method using quiz gave the positive effect to student in culture and art subject. It can be seen from student’s behavior that slowly improved since the first meeting the quiz given: such as they are serious during the lesson, gave response even asked some questions about what they learned. The learning outcomes also increase comparing to their midterm test result. It means the imolementation of quiz method is effective in cultural and art subject for student grade VIII 3 at SMP N 2 Painan.
