Abstract

This research is motivated by learning activities for children's vowels that are less attractive, so it is difficult for children to follow the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of sorting box media to introduce vowels to children aged 4-5 years. This study uses a quasi-experimental design experimental method in the form of a Quasi Experimental Design with Non Equivalent Control Group Design type. The research sample of early childhood was 18 children, then divied into two groups which became the experimental group and the control group. The initial activity was a pretest, after which the experimental group was given treatment 4 times, while the control group did not receive any treatment. After receiving treatment, both groups were tested in the post test. The difference between the initial pretest score and the final post-test score of the experimental group with five developmental achievements from a total score of 80 to 152, while for the total score of the control group from five developmental achievements from 85 to 132. Based on the calculation of the ability to recognize vowels using Mann Whitney, it is known that the Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, it can be said that there are differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental group and the control group. Because there is a significant difference, it can be concluded that the sorting box media is effective in increasing the ability to recognize children's vowels in RA Al-Ikhwan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the family as a foundation of character for early childhood. The method of writing this article is systematic review. The references used in this paper are secondary data in the form of scientific articles searched through the Google Scholar electronic database. References in this study are limited to articles published in the last 10 years. Systematic review consists of three stages, namely identification, evaluation, and interpretation. Based on the identification, evaluation and interpretation, it can be concluded that the laying of character in the family is the core role of parents. Instilling character is the full responsibility of parents for their children, especially early childhood. Planting is important to do early on so that it becomes a habit and will shape the character of a child. Character building in early childhood can be done through advice and examples from parents. Furthermore, the child is guided so that he can practice the values ​​and make it a habit. The child's habits will become the child's character. Parenting style influences the child's character. Democratic parenting is a parenting style that is suitable for instilling character in children

Abstract

Inappropriate learning media and methods can lead to activities that are less interesting and affect children's development, especially fine motor skills. This study aimed to determine the increase in children's fine motor development through playdough activities in the Harapan Bunda Padarincang KB. The research method used is classroom action research with a qualitative approach, the type of research is classroom action research in 3 cycles. The subjects in this study were the students of the Harapan Bunda Padarincang KB group B with a total of 12 children. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. Based on the research results obtained data, In the first cycle, the children's fine motor skills in playing playdough were still low. Most children have not been able to knead and make shapes using playdough, both when imitating shapes and printing according to the teacher's directions. This is because children still tend to like to play alone and pay little attention to the teacher's explanations. In the second cycle, the children's fine motor skills in playing playdough showed enough improvement but still did not show a significant increase. This can be seen from the results of children who get MB scores are still almost the same as those who get BSH and BSB scores, which is around 30%. Broadly speaking, learning activities went well, in cycle III the children who obtained BSH scores were 50% and BSB 44.44%. This shows that there is an increase in children's fine motor development through playdough playing activities at the Harapan Bunda KB.

Abstract

Pancasila Student Profile which has six dimensions, namely; have faith, fear God Almighty and have noble character, be independent, work together, have global diversity, think critically and creatively. The six dimensions are integrated into the learning aspect. At the PAUD level, crafting Pancasila student profiles is carried out using project-based learning so that teachers are expected to be able to design project activities by exploring the cultural potential of each region so that local wisdom can facilitate Pancasila student profiles. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the application of local wisdom in learning to facilitate the profile of Pancasila students is effective. The research method used is descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The results of this study are indicators of regional specialties 79%, indicators of regional traditional games 81%, and indicators of regional special clothing 82%. The sum of these three indicators can be accumulated with a percentage of 81% which is in the very high category. The results of the hypothesis testing were carried out using a run test. The results of the analysis obtained an Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value of 1.000 which is greater than 0.05, meaning that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. These results can be assumed that the data on local wisdom in facilitating the profile of Pancasila students is arranged randomly.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that every child's potential will develop rapidly if they receive care that is appropriate to the child's development. The fact is that every ethnicity has different characteristics and parenting styles. For example, Javanese and Malay ethnicity, each of which has its own way of instilling religious and moral values in children from an early age aims to find out the form of instilling religious and moral values in early childhood by looking at the upbringing of Javanese and Malay ethnicities and seeing their relevance to the concept of education. in early childhood. This research method is qualitative with research procedures namely participant observation and in-depth interviews at TK Alfia Nur Hamparan Perak. The research findings show that the form of instilling religious and moral values in early childhood in the upbringing of Javanese and Malay ethnicity both promotes exemplary, habituation and fun storytelling activities. The good figures shown by parents and teachers make it easier for children to understand religious and moral values in their lives. The form of obedience that is instilled by parents in children causes children to obey every order and prohibition from parents in the process of instilling moral and religious values. Teachers at TK Alfia Nur improvise learning through culture that is inherent in children's culture, then ethnic characteristics in parents affect parenting style and have implications for the form of instilling religious and moral values in early childhood. Therefore, the parenting culture that parents receive should not be purely applied to children, nor should it be completely abandoned.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to create a book "Predictable Books" which is valid, effective, efficient and interesting, to improve the critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years in Bringin sub-district. Critical thinking has an important role for AUD, the current phenomenon shows that the ability to think critically is a basic competency that is starting to be demanded along with the development of science and technology. Training generations to be able to think critically can become a strong foundation in the future. This type of research is research and development R&D (Research & Development) which refers to the ADDIE model with the stages of Analysis (Analyze), Design (Design), Development (Develop), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluation). The results of this study are based on the results of validation on the aspects of effectiveness, efficiency, and attractiveness, through subject trials of material experts, media experts, small group trials involving 10 children in the Roudlotul Muttaqin KB and field trials involving 20 children in KB Shoots nation. Resulting in an assessment of 91.66% on the effectiveness aspect, 95% on the efficiency aspect, and 96.66% on the attractiveness aspect. This means that Predictable Books have a positive contribution and impact in improving the critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years in Bringin sub-district, Predictable Books are very effective as an alternative and supporting tool for teachers in an effort to improve the critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out what efforts were made by the school in improving the parenting program implemented in the Sahara Integrated PAUD. The method used is a qualitative approach, the steps that have been carried out are based on a qualitative approach, namely by using data collection. The first time it was carried out, namely collecting data using data collection techniques in the form of observation, then conducting interviews, and the last stage was literature study. in depth with two resource persons who are educators at the Sahara integrated PAUD. The next stage is conducting a literature study, after data collection is complete, then the writer performs data reduction according to the research objectives followed by a description of the research results. The last is to make the final conclusion of the research. The results of this study are that field trip activities aim to overcome parents' difficulties in attending parenting programs implemented by institutions. Field trips are also a form of education for children, where children will be invited to a certain place or object somewhere. This field trip was also carried out as an effort to develop learning for children and to present a parenting program in the form of socialization or sharing discussions with parents of students.
