Abstract

This article is based on the research about to design instructional model base on Graphic Organizers as one of the alternative instructional model to increase the understanding of student to Physics concepts in SMA. Special purpose  is yield valid have been study peripheral model passed validation process to broader sample. To reach this purpose steps done is: 1) identifies student problems in high school, 2) discussion with physics teachers in the form of workshop, 3) designs of instructional model, and 4) verification model to expert and physics teachers in high school, and 5) Revision model as according suggestion. 6) Determines school sample  based on school level. From model test result at sample school is obtained by score postest better than pretest Based on result of validation of study model through expert, high school physics teachers, and student as sample, inferential that model who designed have been valid although still many suggestions that need to be paid attention.   Key words : Graphic Organizers, diagnostic test,  instructional model

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational science foundation in the development of Worksheets based on the approach of science process skills in Physics learning. This research method is a meta-analysis with a sample of 10 articles in national and international journals. The results of this meta-analysis study are 9 articles having a percentage of 60% and 1 article having a percentage of 40% in implementing the educational foundation. The use of educational foundations analyzed in the article are religious foundations, philosophical foundations, psychological foundations, cultural foundations and social foundations

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the use of Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) models in physics learning in Indonesia. This research method is quantitative descriptive. Reports on the results of this study serve as research subjects. This research method is a meta-analysis with a sample of 10 in national journals. The results showed that the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) model was implemented through the use of textbooks with a scientific approach and student worksheets so as to improve students' skills well. This meta-analysis research shows that the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) model is suitable for increasing students' competence in physics learning with effective criteria. so, the learning model can have a good influence on the learning outcomes of physics

Abstract

VIII.1 graders SMPN 2 Padang is the students who have high academic ability. However, there are some problems such as teachers' learning is not maximized in the delivery of the task, teachers are less able to interpret the potential of students, teachers dominate lessons. The impact of the fact that low mastery of concepts and affective competencies of students. The research objective is to improve the mastery of concepts and develop affective competencies students of SMPN 2 Padang through the application of environmentally sound methods of recitation in cooperative learning and to know the student responses to learning activities undertaken. type of research is action research class. Subjects were students VIII.1 class of SMPN 2 Padang totaling 31 people. Action research conducted in two cycles. I covered the action planning cycle, action, observation, and reflection Action cycle II is a follow-up and modification of cycle I. Success criteria is the concept of achieving mastery KKM set is 80 and the percentage increase in affective competencies are in good criterion (61% -80%). The research data were collected through the mastery of the concept of the test results, observation sheets affective competencies, field notes, students' suggestions critique sheet, photographs and video recordings. Data analysis is a technique percentage.The results are described based on the data acquisition and mastery of the concept of affective competencies of data per cycle. The average value of the concept of mastery increased from 72.8 to 89.3 in cycle I to cycle II in other words, the cycle I is not complete KKM to complete the second cycle. Increased mastery of the concept is also accompanied by an increase of 53.6% affective competency in cycle I to 82.8% in the second cycle of the criteria in other words Enough (C) on a cycle I became very good (A) in the second cycle. Conclusions of research is the application of environmentally sound methods of recitation in cooperative learning can enhance the mastery of concepts and competencies in the affective student learning in physics VIII.1 class students of SMPN 2 Padang.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menerapkan Model Learning Cycle 5E dalam upaya meningkatkan kompetensi afektif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika di kelas IX.2 SMP Negeri 2 Candung. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang timbul selama proses pembelajaran seperti: pembelajaran bersifat teacher centered, guru cenderung menggunakan  metode ceramah sehingga mengakibatkan kurang berkembangnya nilai karakter dan keterampilan sosial peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi afektif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika. Ketercapaian tujuan tersebut dilakukan dengan menerapkan Model Learning Cycle 5E. Model ini mendorong peserta didik belajar secara bertahap dan konstruktif melalui tahap engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, dan evaluation. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Lokasi penelitian adalah SMP N 2 Candung. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IX.2 dengan jumlah 20 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012.  Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat langkah penelitian yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi.  Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kompetensi peserta didik. Kompetensi afektif peserta didik meningkat dari nilai rata-rata  61,0 pada siklus I, 71,8 pada siklus II dan 79,6 pada siklus III  dengan nilai kategori baik. Kompetensi psikomotor meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 69,3 pada siklus I, 83,2 pada siklus II dan 93,1 pada siklus III. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dapat meningkatkan  kompetensi afektif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Fisika.   Keywords: Model,  Learning  Cycle 5E, kompetensi afektif, pembelajaran fisika

Abstract

Good education must have educational foundations because it is a fulcrum and benchmarks in education. This study aims to analyze the foundation of educational science towards the development of e-books and eduparchs of learning physics. This research method is a meta-analysis with a sample of 20 articles. The meta-analysis research shows the completeness of the foundation of educational science in the development of e-books and edupark of physical learning by 61.43% with complete categories.

Abstract

Physics learning aims to make students have a scientific attitude, master the concepts of        science, and understand phenomena that occur in everyday life. Learning physics by applying the STEM approach can improve the skills needed by students. The STEM approach can train students to be able to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in learning physics. The     implementation of the STEM approach in learning physics can be supported by the existence of    teaching materials that are appropriate to the needs and characteristics of students. One form of teaching material that can support independent learning is student books. However, there are still student books that have not fully facilitated the implementation of the STEM approach in learning physics. This study aims to analyze the needs of student books based on the STEM approach in    learning physics. This research is a descriptive study conducted through observation at senior high school (SMA N 4 Padang) with a sample of research is students of 11th grade. Analysis of student book needs based on the STEM approach, including student analysis, analysis of learning activities,      analysis of graduate competency standards, and assessment analysis. The instruments used in this study were in the form of questionnaires and interview sheets. The results showed that the analysis of learners obtained an average value of 67.54, analysis of learning activities obtained an average value of 72.91, analysis of graduate competency standards obtained an average value of 74.60 and analysis of the assessment obtained an average value of 84,24. Therefore, it is necessary to develop physics teaching materials in the form of student books based on the STEM approach

Abstract

The foundation of education greatly contributes to learning, especially in achieving the learning objectives to be achieved. Based on the needs of students using teaching resources, then a meta-analysis of the implementation of educational science foundation on the development of teaching materials in learning physics in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This meta analysis uses descriptive methods. The purpose of this analysis meta to observe the educational foundation that has been found in selected journals as many as 20 journals. The data in this study were obtained from the analysis of each journal and strengthened by existing theories. The data analysis technique uses descriptive percentages. The results of the meta-analysis are as follows. Application of religious foundation with a percentage of 10% (not good), constitutional basis 50% (less), philosophical foundation 5% (not good), psychological foundation 50% (not good), social foundation 25% (not good), cultural and anthropological 20% (not good), and 80% of science and technology application (enough). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of educational science foundation in the development of teaching materials is still in the bad category.

Abstract

Pencapaian kompetensi siswa dalam mata pelajaran Fisika di kelas XI IA  SMA N 1 Kecamatan Suliki Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM). Penyebabnya adalah proses penilaian belum sesuai dengan standar penilaian. Oleh karena itu, permasaalahan ini diatasi dengan memberikan assessment essay dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei dan Juni 2011 di SMA N 1 Kecamatan Suliki Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IA  sebanyak 4 kelas, dan sampel adalah kelas XI IA 2 dan XI IA 3. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas XI IA.2 dan kelas kontrol adalah kelas XI IA.3. Data penelitian ini adalah pencapaian kompetensi kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor siswa. Data pencapaian kompetensi kognitif dikumpulkan melalui ulangan harian dengan soal berbentuk tes essay. Data pencapaian kompetensi afektif dan psikomotor dikumpulkan melalui kusioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t, uji U Mann Whitney, dan uji Anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian kompetensi kognitif siswa secara rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen adalah 58,67 dan pada kelas kontrol adalah 34,39. Pencapaian kompetensi afektif siswa secara rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen adalah  72,53 dan pada kelas kontrol adalah  74,88. Pencapaian kompetensi psikomotor siswa secara rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen adalah 77,67 dan pada kelas kontrol adalah 75,89. Hasil uji U terhadap pencapaian kompetensi kognitif siswa adalah nilai z = -5,00 dengan  α = 0,05, dan peluang (p) nilai z = - 5,00 adalah < 0,0003 (dari tabel A). Karena nilai p < α maka kesimpulannya adalah  terdapat pengaruh pemberian assessment essay  dalam  pembelajaran Fisika menggunakan pendekatan ekspositori dan inkuiri terhadap pencapaian kompetensi kognitif siswa. Hasil uji-t terhadap pencapaian kompetensi afektif siswa adalah thitung (-1,613) < ttabel (2,005). Oleh karena itu, kesimpulannya adalah tidak ada  pengaruh pemberian assessment essay  dalam  pembelajaran Fisika menggunakan pendekatan ekspositori dan inkuiri terhadap pencapaian kompetensi afektif siswa. Hasil uji-t terhadap pencapaian kompetensi psikomotor siswa adalah thitung (1,38) < ttabel (1,67). Oleh karena itu kesimpulannya adalah tidak ada pengaruh pemberian assessment essay  dalam  pembelajaran Fisika menggunakan pendekatan ekspositori dan inkuiri terhadap pencapaian kompetensi psikomotor  siswa. Hasil uji anova terhadap pencapaian kompetensi kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor siswa adalah sama dengan hasil uji U dan uji-t di atas. Abstract

The 21st century challenge of the industrial revolution 4.0 is implementing learning resources in the 2013 curriculum that can be integrated with regional contexts that can support digital-based learning. Physics Learning Integrating Learning Materials with the Environment and Physics Learning Applications becomes More Interesting. Various kinds of learning resources that can be integrated in learning physics with the environment or educational park (Edupark). Edupark is an educational park to support the application of physics concepts for students. Meanwhile, the 4.0 industrial revolution era brought education based on digital learning. Digital learning such as e-books are integrated with Edupark. The foundation of education greatly contributes to specific learning in achieving the learning objectives achieved. So, a meta-analysis of e-books and eduparchs of physics was carried out on the educational foundation of the industrial revolution era 4.0. This meta analysis uses descriptive methods. The purpose of the meta-analysis is to select 20 educational journals in the selected journals. The data in this study were obtained from the analysis of each journal and obtained with existing theories. The technique of analyzing data uses descriptive percentages. The results of the meta-analysis concluded that the application of religious foundations with a percentage of 5% (Not good), constitutional basis 60% (enough), philosophical foundation 85% (Good), social, cultural and anthropological foundation 45% (not good), and the application of science and technology 75% (enough).
