Abstract

A data warehouse are central repositories of integrated data from one or more disparate sources from operational data in On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) system to use in decision making strategy and business intelligent using On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) techniques. Data warehouses support OLAP applications by storing and maintaining data in multidimensional format. Multidimensional data models as an integral part of OLAP designed to solve complex query analysis in real time.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems that occur in Warmadewa College Training and Course Institutions. The problems that occur are the presence of instructors who mostly work as lecturers resulting in the difficulty of determining and scheduling courses and training in accordance with the time of each instructor. Another problem is the process of making a course schedule and training that is still done manually resulting in difficulties in processing student data and schedules. This system is designed to facilitate academic, instructor and student access to information on course scheduling and training. The method used to solve these problems is by using Genetic Algorithms and using the PIECES method to analyze problems and use the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method as a system development model. The results of this study provide convenience in managing the process of scheduling courses and training efficiently and effectively in accordance with the instructor's time and available space so that the process of making the schedule can run well.

Abstract

College accreditation by BAN-PT is one of the parameters in determining the quality of universities in Indonesia. As consideration to achieve the standard from BAN-PT, so they have an evaluation process itself in study program or college to be meet the standard universities when set by the BAN-PT. In carrying out the process of self evaluation, required data source that is used as the basis in assessing on a criteria. In most of the study program, all data spread on the system information and physical document that different, that is require more time and effort to integrate up to interpret. Data warehouse fight important in collecting data that spread and become an information. The process data warehouse with ETL used to integrate, extract, clean, transforming and reload into the data warehouse. With the existence of the data warehouse on Academic STIMIK STIKOM Bali can make it easier for executives to get the information to support the standard accreditation standart three and can be used as a reference in decision making.

Abstract

High school is an educational institution that has directed students to concentrate or learn more in the field of science in accordance with the academic abilities of the students concerned. Generally the top high school has 3 department intended for students when climbing levels from grade 1 to grade 2, namely majors in Science, Social Sciences and Language. Nowadays with a growing human population, the number of students enrolled in a school is quite large, with the number generally in public schools 30 to 40 students per class. With the large number of students this will provide difficulties to determine the direction of each student if done manually. With this problem the researcher implements an EM (Expectation Maximization) method, this method is chosen because of its ability to get the highest probability value and can find the optimal parameters even though the available available map is incomplete or lacking. Using this method will make it easier for a school institution to determine the right direction for students

Abstract

Monitoring is a mandatory process which carried out in every company. Through monitoring process, each business processes within company can be controlled more properly, problems that might occur in the business process can be anticipated, and company’s revenue can be optimized. However, based on survey conducted in some hotels, it is found that there is over-budget problem in food and beverage costs due to difficulties in monitoring process. Therefore, this study aims to design a data warehouse that can help to optimize monitoring process of hotel’s food and beverage costs. Design of proposed data warehouse was built using nine step design methodology developed by Kimball & Ross. Furthermore, proposed data warehouse design was assessed using feasibility assessment of Likert scale. Based on assessment results, it is known that, the proposed data warehouse design has feasibility value of 84%, which is shows that respondents agreed with the design

Abstract

The standard of health services for health providers is to provide maximum service to patients. Based on the Ministry of Health Number: 129 / Menkes / SK / II / 2008 the waiting time of patients is approximately 60 minutes so we can assume that the management of the average time in the field is 15 minutes the process of retrieving queue numbers, 40 minutes waiting time and checking patients and 25 minutes time prescription retrieval at the pharmacy, with the translation of the allocation time we can develop an Agile development system with Scrum framework. Development using Scrum framework itself is used to overcome the problems of development time and human resources so that the results obtained can be evaluated to determine the level of functionality and effectiveness of the system in terms of user satisfaction and increase the quality of service providers and medical personnel.

Abstract

Along with the development of information and communication technology (ICT), which has become a major influence for change in all sectors, including health, especially in medical records is called electronic medical record. Basically an electronic medical record is the use of electronic methods to collect, store, process, and access patient records in hospitals that have been stored in a multimedia database management system, bringing together various medical data sources. Often the problem arises there is no relationship between the respective health care providers in terms of information on the medical record. Although the patient may have a medical examination at a health care provider vary at a certain time. This leads to the same inspection occurring repeatedly. Whereas previous medical records are very useful in further medical examination. Of the several problems mentioned above have designed a centralized electronic medical record system that accommodates patient medical records in a centralized database for the purpose of patient records stored in a single database storage. So if one day the patient is registered in the system, if referred from one hospital to another hospital in the area, data can be viewed and accessed based on data from the hospital or health care provider who has joined in this system. With this system helps reduce the possibility of misdiagnosis. Keywords: Centralized Medical Record, Data Warehouse and ROLAP
