Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of smartphone-based learning media on student learning motivation. The type of research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method or Quasi-Experiment to see student motivation. The sampling technique used in this study was 25 people in the PGA6 group in the UHKBNP PGSD Study Program. Data collection techniques in this study used a learning motivation questionnaire and essay tests. Based on the results of the study, namely the learning outcomes before using TikTok media 71.04 and after using TikTok media 82.24. Based on the results of the analysis of student learning motivation, it is known that student learning motivation using TikTok media is 84.8 and without using TikTok media is 78.5. Thus, smartphone-based learning media can increase the learning motivation of UHKBNP PGSD students.

Abstract

This study explores the construction of women in religious relations and their role in social change on the Indonesia-Singapore border, specifically focusing on Batam City in the Riau Islands. The religious landscape of this region is diverse, with various religious practices and beliefs coexisting. Understanding the dynamics of gender within these religious contexts is crucial to comprehending how women navigate and contribute to social change. The research employs a qualitative approach, such as observation, interviews, and document analysis. By engaging with local communities, religious leaders, and women themselves, this study seeks to uncover the multifaceted roles women play within religious institutions and the broader society. The findings shed light on the ways in which women negotiate their religious identities, practices, and responsibilities, as well as the challenges they encounter in their pursuit of social change. The study also examines the impact of globalization and transnational connections on the construction of women's religious roles, exploring how women in Batam City are influenced by and respond to global trends and ideas. Furthermore, the research addresses the power dynamics at play within religious institutions and how they shape women's experiences and opportunities for social transformation. It investigates the agency exercised by women in religious leadership roles and grassroots initiatives, highlighting the strategies they employ to challenge existing gender norms and advocate for gender equality.

Abstract

The low fulfillment of learning needs is an obstacle for students, in addition to the use of a curriculum that is still a rote system, and a lack of diverse values results in students being passive in the teaching and learning process. As students have characteristics that must be met, one of the diverse lessons is Civics. This study aims to see the results of differentiated learning in the implementation of the independent curriculum in Civics subjects held in class IX-A at SMP Labschool Jakarta as the subject of the research. Then the approach taken is qualitatively using a descriptive analysis method which is carried out in two parts, namely activity analysis and other files. The results obtained are differentiated learning that is suitable for practice in the classroom environment at school as part of the need for learning in Civics lessons. So, it is hoped that students can develop their learning activities optimally. This can be seen in the evaluation section, which shows the diversity that exists within each student.

Abstract

Disrupsi teknologi membawa risiko degradasi moral dan etik yang tidak dapat dihindarkan. Melihat pada urgensinya maka penting untuk menumbuhkan sikap dan karakter kebangsaan melalui peran pendidikan sejarah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui urgensi pendidikan sejarah pada pendidikan karakter kebangsaan serta strategi dan inovasi yang dapat diterapkan untuk memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter kebangsaan di kalangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendidikan sejarah berperan dalam menumbuhkan sikap karakter kebangsaan. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengintegrasikan kurikulum, proses pembelajaran dan materi pembelajaran sejarah dengan nilai-nilai karakter kebangsaan. Penguatan karakter kebangsaan juga dapat dilakukan dengan strategi dan konsep scaffolding yang telah terbukti berkontribusi dalam pengambilan kebijakan penguatan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

The puppet play Dewa Ruci contains many values, including spiritual values. This research aims to discuss the spiritual values of the play as expressed in a two-dimensional work. The works discussed in this research were created using Alma M. Hawkins creation method, which is carried out in three stages: exploration, improvisation, and formation. The works discussed are two two-dimensional artworks entitled “Mati Sajroning Urip” and “Ajeg”. The method of analysis used to discuss the sample works is Feldman s method of analysis, which consists of description, formal analysis, and interpretation. The result of this research shows the presence of dragon objects in the artworks taken from the story of Dewa Ruci, which represent humans with their duality: the nurturing side and the destructive side that are necessary to achieve true perfection. The use of red represents lust, white represents emptiness (suwung), and gold represents the peak of spiritual experience.

Abstract

This research began with the discrepancy between Tasikmalaya City government regulations and farmers' actual experiences with Women Farmer Groups, in terms of fostering and facilitating farmer institutional empowerment. The goal of this study was to find out how much the Women Farmer Group's skills and welfare were improved by farming community empowerment. The study employs a qualitative approach. Observation, interviews, and documentation are the methods used in this study to collect data. The study's findings indicate that the empowerment measures for the Mawar Bodas Women Farmers Group (KWT) have not been fully implemented.

Abstract

The topic of this research is the creative process of the Ruhui Rahayu music group in creating songs because this group does not only play folk songs, but also creates folk songs such as Panting Songs and Banjar Songs which is very important to preserve the culture. The purpose of this research is to describe Ruhui Rahayu s creative process in creating songs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative data obtained from interviews and observations of Ruhui Rahayu s group and literacy studies on the theory of creativity. The results of the study found that in making his song works, Ruhui Rahayu went through 4 stages, namely having creative personal characteristics marked by the presence of an element of fluency or the ability to produce many songs quickly in a short time, then in the process of working he goes through the stages of preparation, incubation until the emergence of inspiration. or new ideas. Furthermore, through the Press stage or self-motivation to work. The fourth stage is the production of songs that can be enjoyed.

Abstract

Expression Française (French expression) is an expression that is often used in tour guiding to create effective communication, as well as to show the tour guide's ability to speak French. This study aims to analyze the forms and meanings of the Expression Française found in overland trip. This research is a qualitative descriptive study through interview and direct observation, then the data is analyzed using the triangulation method. The results of this research shows that there are 14 forms of Expression Française which are fixed and in the courant and familier languages register. There are two types of meaning found in the Expression Française; opaque and transparent.

Abstract

Companies must have certain strategies in adapting in the new normal in order to survive. The author wants to discuss the strategy of PT. XYZ which is engaged in gas and oil mining in Sumatra to face the new normal era specifically in the field of Human Resources. This field research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with narrative analysis techniques as the data analysis technique used. PT. XYZ has a specific strategy in the field of human resources in this new normal period, including implementing a hybrid work pattern, starting to carry out offline certification pelatihan, and optimizing employee capabilities in the use of information technology systems. Companies must make plans that are flexible in facing this new normal era.

Abstract

English teachers need basic teaching skills. This study examines how seven pre-service English teachers employ the eight core teaching skills. A qualitative study analyzed learning records from teaching practice assessments to explore how pre-service English teachers utilized these skills. It identified eight basic teaching techniques with varying levels of proficiency. First, explanation (93.88%), variation (92.06%), and small group and individual instruction (92.86%). Second, good skills include opening and closing lessons (75.51%), questioning (67.86%), and classroom management (78.57%). Finally, skills reinforcement (61.9%) and leading small group discussions (63.27%) are sufficient. The study indicates some pre-service English teachers need basic skills training.
