Abstract

Saving water is one of the crucial needs because of the large number of users. It obviously can be seen from availability of clean water in Ambon, especially in the Kebun Cengkeh area, Sirimau District. The fact actually shown from the consumption of clean water from the water tank. This problem frequently occurred in Pinang Putih Puncak, Hative Kecil Village area, the Al-Anshor mosque. The use of manual faucets causes waster wastage. Furthermore, it can spread the virus sticking to the water faucet and it will transfer to another faucet. As a result, it is necessary to install automatic water faucets to prevent the spread of the corona virus and water saving. The method was needs analysis, designing tools, making tools, testing tools, handing over tools to partners and conducting demonstration or socialization of the use of tools. The results have proven, first, the use of this automatic ablution device was very positive and can be used easily.

Abstract

Community service programs are implemented to solve problems after corn is harvested, this problem is faced by partner groups. The dependence of partners on traders who provide loans in the form of agricultural production facilities, makes farmers' incomes low. The provision of multifunctional machine technology, socialization, demonstration, and training is expected to be able to overcome the problems. Data processing using the Likert Summated Rating Scale (LSRS) with numbers 1-5 from the very poor to very knowing category. The ability of farmers to use machines after harvesting corn is categorized as understanding. All members of the farmer group understand and are able to operate the corn sheller machine owned by the traders, but at the time of operating the multifunction machine only some farmers are able and understand the operation of the machine. Demonstrations involve partners in the preparation, operation and production of multifunctional machines. By the end of the machine demonstration, almost every farmer has understood the function of each machine. The knowledge of farmers about making animal feed from corn cobs has increased to very knowledgeable. With the existence of multifunctional machines, it is hoped that farmers will not depend on traders and can increase their income from their corn products. The profits that farmers get are expected to be used as capital to fulfill production inputs for corn cultivation. Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a program carried out by universities as an implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. KKN aims to apply knowledge and theory during lectures by providing support to the community in managing local resources. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected various sectors of life. One sector that experienced a very large impact was the economic sector. Sidoarjo Regency is one of the districts with high positive cases of Covid-19 and has become a red zone. Based on the survey results, it was found several problems caused by the Covid-19 case, namely the economic impact, especially the MSME actors who have an important role for the economy in the Sarirogo village, Sidoarjo Regency. The pandemic has also resulted in restrictions on activities outside the home. So we need a solution so that people can still meet their needs. One solution is to develop urban farming vegetable cultivation, namely microgreen. The purpose of this microgreen socialization is expected to be able to provide education to Sarirogo villagers about how to cultivate microgreen vegetables, help solve problems that arise from microgreen vegetable cultivation activities and optimize the use of vacant land so that it can provide a nutritious food source. The output is a microgreen socialization video and its stages as well as a training module. The existence of this socialization increases public knowledge about the form of urban farming, especially microgreen vegetable cultivation.

Abstract

The fishery sector is the mainstay in Paminggir District, one type of fish that is caught a lot is snakehead fish. So far, the use of snakehead fish is limited as fish consumption, so to increase the use of snakehead fish it is necessary to diversify the technology of processed snakehead fish into a product with higher nutritional and economic value. Community partnership program service activities aim to transfer technology through technical training on albumin extract processing and utilization of by-products. The training method is counseling and demonstration that aims to provide knowledge and skills to the target audience from Paminggir District, namely the people of Sungai Namang, Pal Batu, Bararawa and Tampakang Villages. The results of the training activities show that the snakehead fish processing business is starting to become a concern for the community in Paminggir District. The follow-up plan of the training activities is the formation of creative business development opportunities that lead to the formation of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through empowering local communities by utilizing local potential, namely snakehead fish.

Abstract

The training activity which was attended by mathematics teachers who were members of the partner group of the Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) of Takalar Regency used information technology in the form of a smartphone application as an alternative to improving the quality of student learning in schools. There are six smartphone applications that are trained for teachers as a first step in getting to know various other applications, namely Math Tricks, Math Expert, Mathematics Dictionary, Malmath, Photomath, and Freaking Math. The six applications are contained in the training manual which is distributed to each participant before the training materials are presented .The output of this training is that teachers can master applications that are suitable to be applied in their respective school environments to facilitate the learning process.

Abstract

SD Negeri 1 Terong Tawah is an elementary school with an A accreditation and has implemented the 2013 curriculum (K-13). Along with implementing learning from home during the Covid-19 Pandemic, SDN 1 Terong Tawah has not implemented e-learning due to limited resources. Not all students have adequate devices to access the internet. This causes the learning process to be not optimal. In addition, the teachers of SD Negeri 1 Terong Tawah and academic staff are not familiar with online learning. In this case, the teachers are required to be able to manage creative content so that the online-based learning media that is applied can be easily understood and enjoyable to use, and no less important. The application is used, which must answer the problem, where every student does not all have a smartphone device. Through training activities on the use of e-learning that is open source, it is expected to be a solution that can answer the questions faced, where the applications developed are free media and can be opened on various internet-connected devices such as laptops/computers/smartphones, are web-based so that no installation process required.

Abstract

Although the implementation of e-government in the government system in Indonesia has been running for almost decades, in practice, there are still many local government units, mainly villages and sub-districts, that encounter technical problems. The main obstacle faced by the village/sub-district government is the capacity of human resources and the availability of budgeting to support the use of information systems. Based on this issue, the Government Science Department, in collaboration with the Community Service Program (KKN) of UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi students in 2021, held the e-government workshop for villages/sub-districts governments in Jambi Province with the theme "Utilizing Google Features to Support the Implementation of e-Government at the Village/sub-district Level." The organizer considered these features can overcome the problems of limited budget and human resource capacity because Google's features, apart from being accessible for free, are also quite familiar, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic. The introductory workshop takes about four hours, with offers of further assistance for villages/sub-district who will establish an advanced program. During August-September 2021, the workshop was held in six villages/sub-district spread over three regencies, namely Tanjung Jabung Timur (one village), Muaro Jambi (two villages), and Batanghari (two villages and one sub-district). In this workshop, village/sub-district officials are directly guided to create several online administrative services.

Abstract

Sepit Village in Central Lombok regency established the Village Information Agency (BID) in 2019, BID Pintar, to meet village information needs and assist internet-based governance. BID Pintar has published several village potentials such as MSME products and tourism potential. For improving the competence of youth and the editorial board of BID Pintar, this activity is carried out as additional knowledge and basic skills of news writing for online media, which include: understanding the value of news, reporting techniques and journalistic code of ethics; basic techniques of online news writing; and making simple illustrations or infographics. Activities are carried out using lecture, discussion, and practice methods which are directly evaluated. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants' knowledge about news values, reporting techniques, and journalistic codes of ethics. Meanwhile, in terms of skills, participants are generally indicated to be able to implement basic online news writing techniques, starting from making engaging titles, preparing news headlines or leads, applying the inverted pyramid principle, and using appropriate photos. To achieve an adequate online news writing ability, further training, both guided and independent, is needed, especially in the formulation of titles and leads and the use of simple and attractive illustrations

Abstract

The economic independence of the Ngrombo Village community can be improved by utilizing its potential as a Tourism Village. As a partner in this community service activity, Ngrombo Village has the advantage of being a guitar craft center that is well known by the people of Surakarta and its surroundings. So that Ngrombo Village has a great opportunity to become a Tourism Village. However, the problem faced is that they do not yet know how the concept of developing a Tourism Village is in accordance with the rules of the law and they do not know how to plan and implement a plan from surveys to a tourism village development strategy. For this reason, this activity has the aim of helping partners by providing training and assistance using the concept of developing a Tourism Village in accordance with the rules of the law as well as training and mentoring on procedures for planning and implementation ranging from surveys to developing Tourism Village strategies. The methods used are lectures, discussions, mentoring and problem solving. The results of this activity are the fulfillment of the Tourism Village indicator category in accordance with the law and the fulfillment of location surveys up to clusters of attractions, accessibility and amenities by partners as Tourism Villages so that the hope of increasing community economic independence can be realized.

Abstract

Densely populated settlements in the Kediri have their own problems in the livestock sector. Starting from the problem of narrow land for raising livestock and the availability of feed. Raising rabbits is one of the ways of the Sumber Rejeki livestock group, Ngronggo Village, Kediri City so that they can continue to raise livestock. The ability of rabbits to use various types of feed makes it easier for rabbits to be kept, especially in urban areas by utilizing the potential of local feed resources. However, farmers are still lacking information about local urban waste that can be used to feed rabbits as well as how to prepare rabbit rations. The solutions that can be given are counseling on the types of local feed ingredients that can be used as rabbit feed and training on forage handling and how to prepare complete rations for rabbits. The methods used in this community service are participatory, outreach, mentoring, and training for partner group members and there will be an evaluation at the end of the activity. The resulting output is an increase in the understanding of farmers about local animal feed ingredients and an increase in the ability to prepare rabbit rations. The resulting product is in the form of feed as biscuits,it’s easy to bite because rabbits are rodents. This feed product will later be referred as rabbits biosupplement biscuit.
