Abstract

Mathematics Study Program, Department of Mathematics FMIPA UNHAS as the State Higher Education Institution makes a Community Service activity as a form of caring for the environment, especially in improving Human Resources (HR) for high school teachers in mathematics studies in Enrekang Regency. The Regional Science and Technology Community Service Program (IbW) is one solution for the problem. This IbW program is a series of activities of Hasanuddin University's 62nd Anniversary which has been carried out in the Hall of SMA 1 Enrekang 1 in Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency. The partners involved were 14 schools at the SMA/SMK/MAN level in Enrekang Regency with a total participants is a varied school with a total of 40 teachers. The purpose of this Community Service implementation was to SMA Mathematics Teachers in Enrekang Regency to increase their passion to teach them to be more varied focused on visualization so that mathematics looks more real. Some science and technology packages that have been implemented are: 1). Microsoft Excel software, 2). Maple software and 3). Geogebra Software. The results of this activity can improve the competence of mathematics teachers in the enrichment of subjects to their students.

Abstract

The results of situational analysis were identified the product of shrimp paste produced by the partners of thiscommunity service activity has covered the region of Aceh and Sumatera, some cities in Java Island, and even toMalaysia. Unfortunately their products do not yet have a brand, good packaging design and business legality. Thiscommunity service activity aims to accompany the micro-business of shrimp-processing paste in Simpang Lhee Village inthe making of better brand and packaging design as an effort to strengthen their product competitiveness, and IUMKregistration as proof of the legality of business activity concerned. The implementation of activities begins withconsultation at Geuchik and Director of BUMG Simpang Lhee; then do socialization about the importance of businessbrand and good packaging design on product to the partners of activities;and, accompany partners to fulfill therequirement in handling IUMK business. The main output of this community sevice activity is the existence of businessbrand, better packaging design and IUMK registered number has been obtained as a sign of business legality, as astrengthening of the competitiveness of shrimp paste products belonging to each partner of this activities

Abstract

The involvement of teachers in Bone Regency in using information and communication technology (ICT) to prepare teaching materials is very little or even never said, even though computer facilities and infrastructure are available in the computing lab. This activity aims to provide knowledge to Mathematics teachers about online learning Google Classroom and Geogebra. The use of Google Classroom will make learning more effective for teachers and students because learning is no longer limited by space and time, student can explore learning resources easily and utilize information technology properly. Likewise, Geogebra training is expected to overcome the difficulties of teachers in visualizing concept charts in mathematics dynamically. The target audience for community service is mathematics teachers who are members of the Mathematics MGMP in Bone Regency.

Abstract

Computers as learning media have become mandatory in the teaching and learning process. Mathematical learning in which the field of study is abstract and requires logical thinking is also inseparable from computer learning media. Many software made to facilitate mathematics learning activities, among others: Geogebra, Microsoft Mathematic, Maple, Matlab, SAS, SPSS etc. The dedication activities have been carried out by the Mathematics Department of FMIPA in collaboration with the Hasanuddin University Research and Community Service Institute (Lp2M) in Mathematics Subject Teacher (MGMP) at the junior high School in Pangkajene and Kepulauan District (Pangkep) held in the Junior High School 4 hall with a number of participants as many as 30 teachers from 23 various junior high schools in Pangkep Regency who are members of the MGMP. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability of junior high school mathematics teachers in Pangkep Regency to use computer-based learning media such as Maple and Matlab. The material provided was training on Maple and Matlab software to support mathematics learning. The results of this activity can improve the ability of mathematics teachers to master mathematical material assisted by software.

Abstract

Community Partnership Program electric stirrer and storefront products for donuts, bread cakes and traditionalcakes have been implemented at business partners H. Harawiah and Toko Ujung in Kupang's Penfui market. Activitiesinclude the assembly of electric stirrers and cake display cases, training on the use and workings of tools, the process ofoperation and maintenance of electric stirrers and donut product storage window, assistance and reporting activities. Electric stirrer is a square steel plate, steel stirring rod, stirrer container, stirrer and electric dynamo. Stirrer specifications of dough capacity of 2-5 kg, dimensions of 60cm x 45cm x 53cm, stainless steel, 350 watts of power and 900-1200 rpm. The productstorage window is a 5mm aluminum and glass rod, dimensions of 100 cm x 40 cm x 100 cm. The method of implementation isthe provision of materials, the design and manufacturing of tools, demonstration of tools and the provision of tools by theteam, simulation of tools, counseling at partner locations and contributing to production resilience and mentoring activities.This community service output provides added value in terms of production, time and speed in mass production, and inhygienic and clean storage. Increase added value and selling value of donut cake products, fried bread cakes, traditional cakeswith a capacity of 2-5 kg driven by electricity, labor efficiency, increase partner productivity by producing 10-15 kg of breadper day or a mixture of 400 - 700 donuts, fried bread cake, traditional cake. Interviews with business partners receive a grossprofit of IDR 375,000.00 - 500,000.00 per day or 11,250,000.00 - 15,000,000.00 per month. Also partners put in a displaycabinet from this program

Abstract

BUMG merupakan institusi yang dikelola sepenuhnya oleh masyarakat desa, dan diharapkan menjadi kekuatan ekonomi utama masyarakat melalui penggalian potensi sumber daya yang dimiliki desa yang bersangkutan.Namun demikian, hasil analisis situasional menunjukkan bahwa kinerja BUMG masih dinilai rendah yang disebabkan lemahnya kompetensi strategik yang dimiliki pihak pengelola BUMG yang bersangkutan. Pengabdian masyarakat inibertujuan melakukan upgrading kompetensi strategik BUMG agar dapat mengoptimalkan peran serta keberadaannyadalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat yang berada dalam wilayahnya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui kegiatanpelatihan dengan model focus group discussion. Beberapa rekomendasi yang diperoleh bahwa BUMG difasilitasi olehpihak Kecamatan Langsa Lama dapat: (1) melaksanakan sejumlah program upgrading kompetensi strategik baik secaraindividu ataupun bersama dengan BUMG yang lain; (2) mengintensifkan program-program peningkatan kemampuanmanajerial melalui sinergi dengan praktisi, konsultan ataupun perguruan tinggi; (3) mengintensifkan upaya penyamaanpemahaman antara perangkat desa dan pengurus BUMG terkait visi-misi pengembangan BUMG; serta, (4) membentukForum Komunikasi BUMG sebagai wadah diskusi antara para pengurus BUMG, pendamping desa dan pihakkecamatan

Abstract

Drugs are an important component of health services that are the needs of the community. There is still a lack ofcommunity knowledge of medicines and management especially for family members, hence an educational effort as well asimprovement of quality of drug management in family through training program and mentoring by pharmacist. Thiscommunity service activity aims to determine the knowledge and attitude of the community in managing drugs in the familyand improve the quality of drug management by the community in the family. The activity was conducted in SidasariWetanKubangkangkung Village Kawunganten Cilacap. The workshop on drug management in family was conducted by pharmaciststo the 33 participants. Data collection was done by using questionnaire and observation through home visit. The result of theactivity shows that the increase of knowledge and attitude of the society in managing drugs in the familywere 10% and 7%,respectively. Workshop activities and mentoring by pharmacists can provide benefits and behavioral changes in family drugsmanagement.

Abstract

The purpose of science and technology activities for the community is to provide skills to farmers groups inutilizing the potential of existing natural resources as an alternative to ducks, utilizing high-protein ammonia bran, andmaking herbs as additive feed. Specific targets to be achieved are the fulfillment of livestock nutrition needs, especiallyducks with resource utilization with the fulfillment of food needs. Not only use the feed without processing. Through thisactivity farmers and agricultural extension, workers are expected to synergize to learn to utilize available local food,raising public awareness to utilize local resources into the nutrient-rich feed. Method of implementation of activities to becarried out is the socialization of activities on farmer groups, training for members of farmer groups, how to make a feedwith some feed processing technology and assistance to farmers. Output target IbM program is an alternative ration forducks, ammonia bran as a source of protein, herbal medicine. The method used is PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) /RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal). Learning methods, extension training, training, and visits (Laku), field school education(SL), demonstration plots, guidance and mentoring, learning by doing. The resulting results of the system. Breeders arenot familiar with feed processing technology and farmers have not utilized local feed as a constituent of rations. Thetechnology applied to the breeder group is to use herbal ingredients as a feed additive, making silage as a source ofprotein one source for duck livestock

Abstract

This article is based on the Community Partnership Program (PKM) which seeks to solve the problems faced by Osing indigenous community, especially the Archipelago Indigenous Youth Front (BPAN) of Osing from the aspects of preservation strategies and revitalization of ritual meals. The solutions offered from this program are the making of ritual meals cooking book, digital documentation (pictures, writings, sounds and videos) stored in the form of Digital Video Disc (DVD) and ritual meals cooking training for young people. The activities are in the form of making a book containing ritual meals recipes and way of cooking, training module which contains the way to cook ritual meals and ritual meals training for young people while the mentoring method was carried out by the team continuously during the period of the PKM program. The outputs are training module, a book with recipes and way of cooking of ritual meals, digital documentation, and ritual meals training model for young people.

Abstract

Education and simulation to dagusibu of drug is one of effort to prevent unwanted result of using drug, this includes increasing knowledge and awareness of the residents of kedungbanteng village related to the using and storing drugs. Education method that we used was active and participatory learning, this explains how to use and manage drug in proper ways (Dagusibu of drug), application through simulation or demonstration in how to manage properly, and also by evaluation through pretest and post-test. This activity is aimed for PKK candidate and residents Kedungbanteng, Kedungbanteng region, Banyumas regency. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest evaluation showed an increase in knowledge after being given education in the form of counseling, namely the number of respondents who received good grades (80-100) increased from 1 respondent (2.5%) to 12 respondents (30%). Monitoring results home visite also shows the existence of respondents who apply the method of using and managing drugs well and correctly, one of which is by storing drugs in a medicine box. Based on that shows education of Dagusibu and simulation of drug for drug management may increase people's knowledge in order to raise people's wealthness and family awareness of drug
