Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the development of fine motor skills through 3 M activities (coloring, cutting and sticking) on students in the B2 kindergarten group Al-Ittihad. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The procedure for implementing classroom action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in accordance with the changes to be achieved as what has been designed in the factors to be investigated. The subjects in this study were as many as 20 people consisting of 10 male children and 10 female students in Musdalifah Poasia Kindergarten 2010/2011 Academic Year. From the results of the evaluation of observations, it can be concluded that through 3M activities (coloring, cutting and sticking) that are carried out optimally can develop the fine motoric abilities of students in the kindergarten Al-Ittihad B2 group. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to comprehensively understand the effect of extra feeding activities and parenting on children's independence. The method used in this study is an experimental method with children's independence as the main problem which is the dependent variable. In this study the sampling technique that will be used is multistage cluster sampling. The sample in this study was in two elementary schools namely SDN 4 Banjar Agung and SDN 5 Banjar Agung, researchers only chose students based on the results of questionnaires parenting parents based on authoritarian, permissive, democratic parenting categories and 10 students each so that the sample in this study was 30 students as a control class at SDN 4 Banjar Agung and 30 students as experimental classes at SDN 5 Banjar Agung. This research is an experimental design with 2x3 factorial design. Therefore, data analysis used a two-way ANOVA, if differences were tested, followed by the Tukey test or Scheffe test to determine which one was higher. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of involvement of fathers in parenting with children's independence in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. The independent variable in this study is the involvement of fathers in parenting, and the dependent variable is the independence of children. Data retrieval is done using the scale of father involvement in child care and the independence scale is based on a Likert scale. In this study validity test using Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula and reliability test using Cronbach Alpha with SPSS 22.0 computer program. Based on the results of data analysis, the correlation coefficient between father involvement in parenting and the independence of children was 0.579 with p0,000 0.05. conclusions obtained are Ho rejected and Ha accepted. This shows that there is a significant relationship between the involvement of fathers in the care of children and the independence of children in Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta in a positive direction. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation process play letter and word and to understand improving early reading ability of children in group B1 through play letter and word. The study was conducted on group B Kindergarten with of fiftten children. This study used action research methods by Kemmis and Taggart which consist of 4 stages (plan, action, observation and reflection). This study consisted of two cycles, each cycles consisting of 8 sessions. Data collecting techniques used observation, field notes and documentation. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data analysis with descriptive statistics that compare the result obtained from the first cycle and the second cycle. Analysis of qualitative data by analizing data from the observation, fields notes and documentation during the study to the steps of data reduction, data display and data verification. The result of this study showed that there was the improving early reading ability through play letter and word using learning style visual, auditory and kinesthetic with score in pre cycle 34,8 had improvement to 51,4 and become 63,5 in cycle II and excellent growing category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the significant and positive correlation between student perception about parenting parents and learning achievement, learning habits and learning achievement, and student perception about parenting parents and learning habits together with learning achievement thematic of fourth grade students SD Muhammadiyah Metro Central. The type of research was ex-postfacto correlation. Population was 230 and sample was 70 students. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaire and documentation studies. Data analysis technique used was product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The results showed that there was a significant and positive correlation between student perception about parenting parents and learning achievement indicated at "low" level, there was a significant and positive correlation between learning habits and learning achievement indicated at "low" level, and there was a significant and positive correlation between student perception about parenting parents and learning habits together with learning achievement indicated at “moderate” level.Keywords: Learning achievement, study habits, parenting parentsDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jiip.v1i1.18021

Abstract

The purpose of this study (1) to find out the relevance of the curriculum model development of Elementary School Teacher Education with the Elementary School curriculum, (2) to produce a level of improvement in courses that have relevance to the Elementary School curriculum, 3) produce textbooks. The method used in this study is Research and Development. Data collection used questionnaire and structured interview. The results showed that the average score of pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers was included in the excellent category. average score of professionalism of teachers included in the excellent category. Abstract

The objective of this research was to 1) the implementation of traditional Penthul Melikan dance learning in the Penthul Melikan studio and 2) constraints on the learning process of traditional Penthul Melikan dance in the Penthul Melikan studio. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The subject of this research was dance students aged 4-6 years totaling 10 children and 2 dance trainers. The collecting data technique has conducted by observation, interview and documentation study. The data analysis techniques in this research were qualitative by Miles and Huberman. The research  results has shown that: 1) the implementation of traditional Penthul Melikan dance learning which consists of opening, core and closing activities, dance trainers always give appreciation to the dance movements that children do in praise making it easier for children to receive dance learning and 2) constraints on the learning process of traditional Penthul Melikan dance is weather, communication between child and dance trainers, childrens abilities are different and there are no written results in dance learning. Abstract

This research aimed to determine the level of difficulty of the Supervising Teacher in Mastering the Concept and Praxis of Assessment to Understand the Conditions, Needs, and Problems of the Counselee. This research used survey research methods with descriptive quantitative research. The population of the research was 160 guidance and counseling teachers who were taken by using proportional sampling techniques from each regional representative, so that 50 teachers of guidance and counseling were obtained. The data collection is collected through understanding tests. The data analysis is used descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that the Level of Teacher Difficulties in Mastering the Concept and Praxis of Assessment to Understand the Conditions, Needs, and Problems of the counselees in the very low category with a percentage of 44%. This is supported by the results of the respondents' justification analysis that the level of understanding of the concepts and assessment praxis in guidance and counseling teachers in schools is in the moderate category with only 16%.Keywords: counselor competence, assessment, mastery of concept and prescriptive assessment, teacher guidance and counselingDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jiip.v1i2.18032

Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe the process and learning outcomes through the implementation of batik activities that can improve fine motor skills of children in group A kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustaanul Athfaal Ciracas, East Jakarta, Year 2015/2016. The subjects of this study were 10 children. The research method used is based upon the model of action research which consists of four phases, including planning, action, observation and reflection. The study consisted of two cycles where each cycle consists of eight meetings. Data analysis techniques used in this research is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Analysis of qualitative data by data reduction, data display and data verification. Quantitative data analysis with descriptive statistics that compare the results obtained from pre-action, the first cycle and the second cycle. The results of this study showed an increased fine motor skills through activities batik, can be proved by the average level of performance development (TCP) fine motor skills of children in pre-action amounted to 21 increased in the first cycle and the second cycle to 34 to 44.Keywords: Fine motor skills, batik activities, early childhoodDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jiip.v1i1.18010
