Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the concept of the promise that God gave to humans and specifically in the book of Isaiah 42:18-43:21. Because by explaining God's promises it will be easy to understand and easy to understand and clear to whom the promises were delivered and to whom the promises were given. Here the author will use the descriptive method, meaning that the data are collected as true facts from correct and reliable literary sources in order to contribute to the historical study of the text of Isaiah 42: 18 - 43: 21 to get accurate results. And the conclusion that the author makes is that God offers love to humans but there will be punishment too if humans violate the rules and laws that are determined by God. And God also wants to promise humans unconditionally and with conditions but every action has consequences. Abstract

Education is a principle thing in human life, including spiritual education. In this case, Christian Religious Education becomes a need for Christians in all ages. The Bible is the basis for teaching Christian Religious Education for God's people. And in this discussion, the text chosen to be studied is the Book of Ephesians. Where there are educational principles and practices imparted to God's people. Indeed, this is inseparable from the principles and practices of spiritual education carried out by the Jews in Old Testament times. Ephesus itself is the right reference if we want to learn many things related to Christian religious education. Abstract

Pelayanan PAK anak merupakan hal yang sangat penting, karena dengan belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen karakter si anak akan terbentuk sehingga ia akan bertumbuh dengan berkarakter yang baik. Pengenalan PAK kepada anak sebenarnya merupakan tanggung jawab banyak pihak. Orang tua Kristen harus terbeban untuk mengajarkan PAK kepada anak sejak dini supaya bukan hanya kemampuan inteltual yang diasah tetapi juga rohaninya. Karena kempuan intelektual dan kerohanian merupakan hal yang sejalan dan tidak dapat dipisahkan. Namun demikian banyak sekali tantangan yang ditemukan saat melakukan pelayana PAK kepada anak baik dari dalam diri si anak, dari keluarganya maupun lingkungan sekitarnya. Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya kesadaran akan pengtingnya pembelajaran PAK bagi masyarakat. Mereka lebih mengutamakan kemampuan intelektual si anak dan mengabaikan pelayanan PAK kepada anak karena dianggap kurang penting bagi si anak, hal ini merupakan tantangan yang sangat besar bagi jalannya pembelajaran PAK di dalam masyarakat. Karena tanpa dorongan dari orang tua maka si anak akan malas untuk mengikuti pembelajaran PAK yang dilayankan kepada mereka.Kata Kunci: pelayanan Pendidikan Agama Kristen, tantangan, strategi

Abstract

One of the worst consequences of the man's fall into the sin is death. The first humans, Adam and Eve, after violating God's command by eating the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden of Eden, made them violate God's commandment (sinful), this violation has brought the heaviest punishment, namely death for that human. The Lord God is faithful and infinite justice to what He has said, giving rewards, life to everyone who sincerely does His will and carries out the punishment, death for everyone who violates His word. But the Lord God in all His omniscience (providensia) along with the passage of time and His design, has determined the only way and rule for everyone to be justified before God, is If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10), He is a real form of God who is Loving and has come into the world (Incarnation), He has sacrificed / died on the cross and rose from the grave on the third day to save mankind, then the sinner has the status of "justified" before God. The purpose of the study was to find the original meaning of the word "justification" according to Romans 5:1-11 by using the descriptive exegesis method and answering various questions regarding salvation only by faith in Christ Jesus.Keywords: Jesus Christ; Salvation; Justification.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by quantitative data that has been informed: Whereas the role of pastoral ministers in the education of a congregation towards a particular church resulted in 86.7% of respondents agreeing that church leaders (chairmen/pastoral ministers) play a very important role as educators for the congregation, along with In fact, pastoral ministers (church leaders) often drift into heretical teachings, such as Tertullian, for example, who fell into the teachings of Montanism. Thus the analysis of Edison R.L. Heaps (2017). And the book of 1 Timothy can be classified as a letter suggesting Timothy to carry out the function of this structure in fighting for the faith of the Ephesian church at that time. So this research will make pastoral workers realize how important it is to maintain the consistency of the apostolic teachings to prevent heretics and even their own teachings from undermining a healthy faith in Christianity.     Keywords: Apostolic Teachings, Heresies, Pastoral Servants, Truth, The Supporting Pillar of Truth, Timothy.Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh data kuantitatif yang telah diinfokan: Bahwa peran pelayan pastoral dalam pendidikan suatu jemaat terhadap satu gereja tertentu menghasilkan 86,7 % responden yang menyatakan setuju bahwa pemimpin gereja (gembala sidang/pelayan pastoral) sangat berperan sebagai pendidik kepada jemaat, seiring dengan hal itu malah pelayan pastoral (pemimpin gereja) tidak jarang hanyut dalam ajaran sesat, seperti Tertulianus misalnya yang jatuh ke ajaran Montanisme, hal itu disebabkan ketidakmapanan gereja dalam mengikat baik ajaran sehat yang akan diwariskan secara hirarki. Demikian analisis Edison R.L. Tinambunan (2017). Dan kitab 1 Timotius dapat digolongkan sebagai surat yang menyarankan Timotius untuk menjalankan fungsi struktur tersebut dalam memperjuangkan iman gereja Efesus saat itu. Maka penelitian ini akan menyadarkan para pelayan pastoral bahwa betapa pentingnya konsistensi ajaran rasuli dipertahankan untuk mencegah penyesat bahkan ajarannya sendiri yang merusak iman yang sehat dalam kekristenan.    Kata Kunci: Ajaran Rasuli, Ajaran Sesat, Pelayan Pastoral, Kebenaran, Tiang Penopang Kebenaran, Timotius.

Abstract

Intertextual is an approach to understand a text as an insert from other texts. A text is understood not to stand alone. A text is composed of quotations or other text sources. One text that requires intertextual study is the text of Matthew 12:18-21 which quotes Isaiah 42:1-4, which is the longest quotation of the Old Testament in the Gospels. Three main points of study were carried out on the intertextuality of the two texts: First, what is the context and meaning of the text of Isaiah 42:1-4? Abstract

Abstract: Guiding the character of students in modern times is not an easy thing, because the character of students in the digital era is very different from the character of students in the past. Students in the past were easy to manage and direct, but in the digital era students are very difficult to manage, direct and advise, because they have different lifestyles. Children in the digital age have been shaped and influenced by technological developments. Just look at the lifestyle of today's school children, they can already enjoy super-fast mobile Internet services. Not only enjoying the sophistication of this technology, but can do anything via smartphone, ranging from entertainment, study, work, and so on. One of the negative impacts of technological developments on the renewal of students' character in the digital era is that the moral decline in society, especially teenagers and students, is a serious socio-cultural challenge. So a teacher must really realize that their status is not only seen by people as a profession but teachers are also seen as people who are trusted to teach, educate and guide to build the character of students in this digital era.     Key Word: Mentoring; Character; Students.Abstrak: Membimbing karakter Siswa di zaman modern ini bukan hal yang mudah, karena karakter siswa di era digital sangat berbeda dengan karakter siswa di zaman dulu. Siswa di zaman dulu mudah diatur dan diarahkan, tetapi di era digital siswa sangat susah diatur, diarahkan dan dinasihati, karena mereka memiliki pola hidup yang berbeda-berbeda. Anak-anak di era digital telah terbentuk dan dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan teknologi. Lihat saja gaya hidup anak-anak sekolah di zaman sekarang, mereka sudah bisa menikmati layanan mobile Internet yang super cepet. Bukan hanya menikmati kecanggihan teknologi tersebut, namun bisa melakukan apapun lewat smartphone, mulai dari entertainment, belajar, kerja, dan sebagainya. Salah satu dampak negatif tentang perkembangan teknologi terhadap pembaharuan karakter siswa di era digital adalah kemerosotan moral di kalangan masyarakat khususnya remaja dan pelajar/siswa menjadi salah satu tantangan sosial budaya yang serius. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of the elderly to carry out God's word in teaching the Christian Religious Education they receive. How can they carry out the teaching they receive given their age and decline in abilities? In this case the Christian Religious Education they receive is very important, by using qualitative methods with a library research approach or a literature study approach. Literature study is carried out by looking for various sources related to the topic being discussed. Elderly is someone who is said to be elderly who has reached the age of 60 years and over. Elderly adulthood is the final adult stage of human life. In this case Christian Religious Education practitioners must be able to serve the elderly in developing their behaviour, so that through teaching Christian religious education the elderly can become doers of the Word.   Keywords: Elderly; Doers of the Word; Christian Education.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan perihal kemampuan para lansia untuk melakukan firman Allah dalam pengajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang mereka terima. Bagaimana mereka bisa melaksanakan pengajaran yang mereka terima mengingat mereka sudah lanjut usia dan menurun dalam berbagai kemampuan? Dalam hal ini Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang mereka terima sangatlah penting, Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research atau pendekatan studi literatur. Studi kepustakaan dilakukan dengan mencari berbagai sumber-sumber yang terkait dengan topik yang dibahas. Lansia adalah seseorang yang dikatakan lanjut usia yang berumur telah mencapai usia 60 tahun ke atas. Dewasa lanjut usia merupakan tahap dewasa akhir hidup manusia. Dalam hal ini praktisi Pendidikan Agama Kristen seharusnya mampu melayani para lansia dalam mengembangkan perilaku mereka, sehingga melalui pengajaran pendiidkan agama Kristen itu para lansia bisa menjadi pelaku Firman.   Kata Kunci: Lansia; Pelaku Firman; Pendidikan Kristen.

Abstract

 Abstract: Paul's opposition in the Epistle to Philippians is something interesting to study because this letter implies how to overcome the opposition that often arises in ministry. This letter is a letter written by the apostle Paul from prison, but this letter is a letter of joy that is able to encourage enthusiasm in the midst of the opposite situation. When the author conducted a study of this part of the book, there was a tremendous admiration for God and the determination and courage to keep preaching the Word according to God's will. The author is interested in highlighting this because it was inspired by the example of Paul who faced opposition in every ministry, especially in Philippi. The study of the selected text also considers that there are dynamics in the interpretation of the Philippians letter. Throughout history many theologians have undertaken this study, and continue to make their contribution. Likewise, the author feels the need to contribute as a form of active role in enriching the scientific treasures of theology students. Paul's opposition is explored through the steps of historical theological studies so that the meaning that is most appropriate to the depth of meaning intended by the author of the book is obtained.   Keywords: Gospel; envy; circumcision; enemy. Abstrak: Oposisi Paulus dalam Surat Filipi adalah sesuatu yang menarik yang dapat diteliti karena dalam surat ini tersirat cara mengatasi oposisi yang kerap timbul dalam pelayanan. Surat ini merupakan surat yang ditulis oleh rasul Paulus dari dalam penjara, namun surat ini merupakan surat sukacita yang mampu mendorong semangat ditengah-tengah situasi yang sebaliknya. Ketika penulis melakukan study atas bagian dari kitab ini, tumbuh kekaguman yang luar biasa akan Allah dan keteguhan hati serta keberanian untuk tetap memberitakan Firman sesuai dengan kehendak Tuhan. Penulis tertarik menyoroti hal ini dikarenakan terinspirasi terhadap teladan Paulus yang menghadapi para oposisi dalam setiap pelayanan khususnya di Filipi. Kajian atas teks yang dipilih juga mempertimbangkan bahwa terjadinya dinamika dalam penafsiran surat Filipi. Dalam sepanjang sejarah banyak teolog telah melakukan kajian ini, dan terus memberikan sumbangsih mereka. Demikian juga penulis merasa perlu memberikan kontribusi sebagai wujud peran aktif dalam memperkaya khazanah keilmuan mahasiswa teologi. Oposisi Paulus digali dengan langkah-langkah kajian historis teologis sehingga didapatkan makna yang paling sesuai dengan kedalaman arti yang dimaksud si penulis kitab.   Kata Kunci: Injil; dengki; sunat; seteru.
