Abstract

This study aims to determine class X students' difficulty in understanding story questions on the material composition function and inverse function. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a sample of class X students in SMA Negeri 3 Cilegon. Data analysis of difficulty understanding story problems obtained through tests, observations, and documentation. For data validation, the data reduction, data review, and conclusion drawing stages are used. This study's results indicate that students' ability to understand story problems in the material composition function and inverse function is still low. It can be seen that only 6.25% of students can complete the test correctly so that it is categorized high, 31.25% is classified as moderate, and 62.5% is classified as low. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam memahami soal cerita pada materi fungsi komposisi dan fungsi invers. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Cilegon. Data analisis kesulitan pemahan soal cerita diperoleh melalui tes dan dokumentasi. Untuk validias data digunakan tahap reduksi data, pengajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam memahami soal cerita pada materi fungsi komposisi dan fungsi invers masih rendah. hal tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa hanya 6,25% siswa yang mampu menyelesaikan tes dengan sempurna sehingga dikategorikan tinggi, 31,25% tergolong sedang, dan 62,5% lainnya tergolong rendah.

Abstract

This research's background is the students' mathematical creative thinking abilities that are rarely of concern so that they are generally classified as low. This study aims to determine the Zone of Proximal Development Experiential Learning model's effect based on improving mathematical creative thinking skills. The design of this study uses the Quasi-Experimental Design form. This study's population were students of class VII SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung with a sample of two experimental classes and one control class. Data analysis used the One Way Anova test, and the significance level was 5%. Based on the average increase, the Experiential Learning Model, based on the Zone of Proximal Development, is as good as the Experiential Learning Model. The Experimental Learning Model is based on Zone Of Proximal Development is better with conventional learning, Experiential Learning Model is better with conventional learning. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik yang jarang menjadi perhatian sehingga secara umum masih tergolong rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Experiential Learning berbasis Zone Of Proximal Development untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk Quasi Experimental Disign. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung dengan sampel dua kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan uji One Way Anova dan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan rata – rata peningkatan disimpulkan bahwa Model pembelajaran Experiential Learning berbasis Zone Of Proximal Development sama baiknya dengan Model pembelajaran Experiential Learning, Model pembelajaran Experiential Learning berbasis Zone Of Proximal Development lebih baik dengan pembelajaran konvensional, Model pembelajaran Experiential Learning lebih baik dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence between the application of TAPPS type cooperative learning using gamification teaching materials and conventional learning, the difference between high, medium, and low Self Confidence, and the interaction between TAPPS type cooperative learning and Self Confidence toward the ability of mathematical reasoning. This research used a quasi-experimental method and subjects of SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan with 64 students. The sample class used were two classes by using Cluster Random Sampling. Hypothesis testing conducted in this research uses two-way ANAVA with ∝=5%. The results showed: (1) learning using TAPPS type cooperative learning using gamification teaching materials is more effective than learning with conventional methods, (2) there is a self-confidence effect on mathematical reasoning abilities, high Self Confidence is better than medium and low self-confidence and the ability of mathematical reasoning with medium Self Confidence is better than low Self Confidence, (3) there was no interaction between TAPPS type cooperative learning and Self Confidence in mathematical reasoning abilities. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara penerapan cooperative learning tipe TAPPS menggunakan bahan ajar gamifikasi dan pembelajaran konvensional, perbedaan antara kepercayaan diri yang tinggi, sedang dan rendah, dan interaksi antara cooperative learning tipe TAPPS dan kepercayan diri terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian in adalah Quasy Eksperimental, Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri Natar Lampung Selatan dengan jumlah siswa 64. Sampel kelas yang digunakan adalah dua kelas dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan ANAVA dua arah dengan ∝ = 5%. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Cooperative learning tipe TAPPS menggunakan bahan ajar gamifikasi lebih berpengaruh daripada pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis (2) Kemampuan penalaran matematis dengan kepercayaan diri yang tinggi lebih baik daripada kepercayaan diri sedang dan rendah serta kemampuan penalaran matematis dengan kepercayaan diri yang sedang lebih baik daripada kepercayaan diri rendah (3) Tidak ada interaksi antara cooperative learning tipe TAPPS dan kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze student facilitators and explaining models on critical thinking mathematically. Analyzing the level of self-reliance learning on critical math learners' ability, analyzing student facilitators' interaction, and explaining critical thinking critical math and self-reliance learners. Research conducted in class X SMK Muhamadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. This type of research is Quasi-Experimental Design. Sampling techniques are done in a simple Random Sampling; data collection techniques are conducted through tests and nontest. The type of test to think critically about mathematical mathematics is an objective test that is a matter of description (essay), testing this hypothesis using variance analysis (ANAVA) Two paths with unequal cells. The results of learning data analysis of Student Facilitator and Explaining the ability of critical thinking mathematically better than conventional learning models. The high learning of students, the better the ability to think critically of students mathematically. There is no interaction between Student Facilitator and Explaining learning models and the self-reliance learning level towards learners' mathematical thinking skills. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis model Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap berpikir kritis matematis, menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis kemandirian belajarerhadap peserta didik, menganalisis interaksi Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap berpikir kritis matematis dan kemandirian peserta didik.Penelitian dilakukan di kelas X SMK Muhamadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung.Jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design.Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara Simpel Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan non tes. Jenis tes untuk Berpikir Kritis Matematis matematika adalah tes obyektif yaitu berupa soal (essay). Pengujian hipotesis ini dengan analisis variansi (ANAVA) dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Adapun hasil analisis data pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih baik dari model pembelajaran konvensional. tingginya kemandrian belajar peserta didik maka semakin baik kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan tingkat kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the extent to which the ability to structure sense in the form of material binding a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b). This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-B MTs ASSALAM Bangilan, amounting to 25 students. However, only six subjects were analyzed based on the ability indicators of structure sense in terms of the same answer patterns. The research instrument consisted of test questions and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques used in the model of Miles and Huberman include data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The study results showed that in question number 1, 40% of students could sense structure, and 60% are less familiar with the sense of structure due to each deployment's completion, not using the form a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b). In question number 2, 32% of students can structure sense, and 68% are less familiar with the sense of structure due to a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) sensitivity is still low, and the answer pattern describes each appointment. Whereas in question number 3, only 28% can structure sense, and 72% lack familiarity with structure sense because they cannot manipulate structures properly. In conclusion, the ability to structure sense to form a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) students is still low. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana kemampuan structure sense pada materi pemangakatan bentuk a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b). Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-B MTs ASSALAM Bangilan yang berjumlah 25 siswa, akan tetapi hanya diambil 6 subyek yang dianalisis berdasarkan indikator kemampuan structure sense ditinjau dari pola jawaban yang sama. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal tes dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada soal no. 1, 40% siswa memiliki kemampuan structure sense dan 60% kurang mengenal structure sense disebabkan dalam penyelsaiannya menjebarkan masing-masing pemangkatan, tidak menggunakan bentuk a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b). Pada soal no. 2, 32% siswa memiliki kemampuan structure sense dan 68% kurang mengenal structure sense disebabkan kepekaan struktur pemangkatan a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) masih rendah, dan pola jawabannya menjabarkan masing-masing pemangkatan. Sedangkan pada soal no. 3 hanya 28% yang memiliki kemampuan structure sense dan 72% kurang mengenal structure sensedisebabkan tidak dapat memanipulasi struktur dengan tepat. Kesimpulannya kemampuan structure sense pemangakata bentuk a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) siswa masih rendah.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the extent of the mathematical connection ability of the linear equations system of two variables in terms of the connection representation and procedural connections. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. This study's subjects were the students of class X MIPA 1 MA P2K Al Hidayah Lajukidul, which numbered 24 students. However, only six subjects were taken based on the level of mathematical connection ability high, medium, and low that had been selected by mathematics subject teachers based on students' ability to solve math story problems. The research instrument consisted of tests and interview questions. Data analysis techniques using the model of Miles and Huberman include data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The study results showed that in question no. 1, all research subjects can represent connections and procedural connections, students can write mathematical symbols and answer questions using formulas correctly. In problem no.2, only the subject of high mathematical connection ability can connect representation and procedural connections. The other subject is not quite right in writing mathematical symbols. In question no.3, only subjects with low mathematical connection ability do not have representation and procedural connection skills; students only write what is known but is incomplete. In conclusion, the two-variable linear equation system's mathematical connection ability in terms of the connection representation and procedural connections are not evenly distributed. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana kemampuan koneksi matematis materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel ditinjau dari koneksi representasi dan koneksi prosedural. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 1 MA P2K Al Hidayah Lajukidul yang berjumlah 24 siswa tetapi hanya diambil 6 subjek berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan koneksi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah yang telah dipilih oleh guru mata pelajaran matematika berdasarkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada soal no. 1 semua subjek penelitian mempunyai kemampuan koneksi representasi dan koneksi prosedural, siswa mampu menuliskan simbol matematika dan menjawab soal menggunakan rumus dengan benar. Pada soal no.2 hanya subjek kemampuan koneksi matematis tinggi yang mempunyai kemampuan koneksi representasi dan koneksi prosedural, subjek yang lain kurang tepat dalam menuliskan simbol matematika. Pada soal no.3 hanya subjek kemampuan koneksi matematis rendah yang belum mempunyai kemampuan koneksi representasi dan prosedural, siswa hanya menuliskan apa yang diketahui tetapi tidak lengkap. Kesimpulannya kemampuan koneksi matematis materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel ditinjau dari koneksi representasi dan koneksi prosedural belum merata.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study aims to describe the level of student understanding of function composition based on the SOLO taxonomy. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Balen on science class X students school year 2019/2020 with 20 subjects. Sampling using stratified sampling techniques (conditional sample) and purposive sampling (sample aims) see the results of written tests that refer to the grid of test questions and sampling data sources with specific considerations. Analysis of the level of understanding with PKLM1, PKLM2, PKLR1, PKLR2, PKLE1, and PKLE2. Data analysis using the test method and interview method and test the data's validity using the triangulation of data sources and triangulation of methods. The results showed three levels of students' understanding of the composition of functions based on SOLO taxonomy, namely multi structural, relational, and extended abstract. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan level pemahaman siswa pada konsep komposisi fungsi berdasar taksonomi SOLO. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Balen pada siswa kelas X IPA tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan jumlah 20 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified sampling (sampel bersyarat) dan purposive sampling (sampel bertujuan) yaitu melihat hasil tes tulis yang mengacu pada kisi-kisi soal tes serta pengambilan sampel sumber data dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Analisis level pemahaman dengan subyek PKLM1, PKLM2, PKLR1, PKLR2, PKLE1, dan PKLE2. Analisis data menggunakan metode tes dan metode wawancara, serta uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada tiga level pemahaman siswa pada konsep komposisi fungsi berdasar taksonomi SOLO yaitu multistruktural, relasional, dan extended abstract.
