Abstract

Background: Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the latest variant of the coronavirus. This virus spreads quickly and widely so that it takes a lot of victims. As an effort to reduce the number of cases of Covid-19 is to vaccinate. But it's not enough just to vaccinate doses 1 and 2, now the government is again advising the public to do a booster vaccination for Covid-19. Aims: This study aims to determine the relationship between government motivation and communication with the community's willingness to carry out the Covid-19 booster vaccination in Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. Method: The type of research used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 395 respondents who were determined using a purposive sampling technique. Result: Based on the results of the bivariate test, it showed that there was a relationship between motivation (p = 0.012) and government communication (p = 0.013) with the public's willingness to carry out the Covid-19 booster vaccination. Recommendations for the government in Tanete Riattang District to make the Covid-19 booster vaccination an administrative requirement so that people want to do the Covid-19 booster vaccination

Abstract

Backgrounds: The maternal mortality rate (MMR) and the infant and under-five mortality rate (IMR and AKABA) are indicators that show the welfare and health of the people in a country. Objective: This study aims to conduct a study related to the description of the management of women's organizations in preventing maternal and child deaths. Method: The method used is descriptive qualitative, with informants being women's organizations with maternal and child health programs. Result: Women's organizations play a role in reducing maternal and child mortality by conducting active counseling, active assistance, educating the community and carrying out activities that support maternal and child health. Conclusion: The involvement of women's organizations in the planning and implementation of programs to reduce maternal and child mortality needs continuous efforts and assistance so that the programs run effectively and there is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of mass organizations related to gender and women's health and maternal and child health.

Abstract

Stunting is short stature with a Z-score PB/U < -2SD which occurs as a result of accumulation of chronic nutritional problems. The incidence of stunting in 2018 at the Manuju Health Center was 1 child who was stunted, in 2019 there were 3 children, in 2020 it increased to 91 children, then in 2021 there were 141 children, then in 2022 there were around 102 children who were stunted per November At the moment. This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge on mothers' behavior in caring for stunted toddlers. This research uses observational research with quantitative analysis with a cross-sectional study design. The total sample in this study was 102 mothers who had stunted toddlers. Sampling was done by simple random sampling. The data source for this study was secondary data taken in January-September 2022. The data used the chi-square test with p=0.05 and confidence interval (CI)=95%. The results of the analysis of this study showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and stunting toddler care behavior (p = 0.000; CI = 95%). It can be concluded that knowledge influences mothers' behavior in caring for stunting toddlers.

Abstract

Takalar Regency in 2017 the number of hypertension sufferers was 2969 (80%) with 927 men (28%) and 1769 women (61%). Hypertension can be defined as persistently high blood pressure where systolic blood pressure is above 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is above 90 mmHg. Moringa is one of the assets in Maccini Baji Hamlet. It is known that the Moringa plant contains all the nutrients needed to balance blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to evaluate education related to the prevention and management of hypertension as well as to foster the atmosphere of antihypertensive drinks from Moringa leaves using a questionnaire instrument to measure knowledge, attitudes, and actions after the intervention. The results of the study proved the effect of the boiled water of Moringa leaves on blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The Wilcoxon Statistical Test was carried out at a significance level of α (0.05) with a (p) value of 0.000, so it can be said that there was a significant change between the Moringa leaf decoction and changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Based on the analysis of the Friedmen test, it showed a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05) so that it can be concluded that there was an increase before and after three months of counseling on prevention and control of hypertension.

Abstract

During the current Covid-19 pandemic, public visits to health facilities such as hospitals, health centers and clinics have decreased. People are increasingly worried about visiting health facilities for fear of contracting it. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of public concern about visiting a health facility during a pandemic when experiencing health problems. This research is a quantitative research using an analytical approach and study designcross sectional. The population in this study were all Indonesian people and the number of samples in this study were 118 people. The analytical method used is univariate about the respondent's identity (gender, age, occupation, and education) and bivariate to determine the correlation of the independent variables with the dependent variable using the test chi square. The sampling technique uses the technique accidental sampling. The results of the study showed that there was no relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of public concern about visiting health facilities p-value 0.421.

Abstract

Background: Malnutrition in children under five is still a matter of concern because it not only harms the child, but also harms the country. Malnourished toddlers if not treated properly can have an impact until adulthood. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the Supplementary Feeding Program (PMT) for toddlers at Puskesmas Somba Opu, Gowa Regency. Methods: The research method used was a cross sectional design with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were mothers who had toddlers and followed the PMT program at Puskesmas Somba Opu as many as 135 people. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The research was conducted at the Somba Opu Health Center in January-June 2023. Data analysis techniques used were univariate and bivariate using the Fisher test and contingency coefficient. Results: the input aspect for the funding component is still lacking. The process aspect of the recording component is still lacking. The output aspect is said to be sufficient in maternal attitudes and the coverage of Supplementary Feeding performance. There was a relationship between process and maternal attitude (p=0.000). Conclusion: the funding and recording components are still lacking and there is a relationship between the process and the mother's attitude in the implementation of the Supplementary Feeding program at Puskesmas Somba Opu, Gowa Regency. It is recommended to provide funds for the implementation of the PMT program for toddlers in the working area of Puskesmas Somba Opu, Gowa Regency

Abstract

Background: Treatment methods through traditional healers and using herbal ingredients are an alternative for the community in overcoming health problems experienced, in addition to using conventional health services. Objective: This study aims to determine the factors related to the use of health services at Traditional Community Health Center in Makassar (Balai Kesehatan Tradisional Masyarakat Makassar/BKTM) in 2023. Methods: This research was conducted at Traditional Community Health Center in Makassar in May 2023. The population of this study were all outpatients in all types of services. The sample size was 95 respondents. The research method employed was a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The data analysis techniques used were univariate and bivariate, and the tests applied was chi-square test. Results: The study's findings revealed that the utilization of health services at Traditional Community Health Center in Makassar was associated with three factors: availability(p=0.048), affordability(p=0.000) and accessibility(p=0.085). Conclusion: The utilization of health services at Traditional Community Health Center in Makassar correlated with availability, affordability, and accessibility. It is recommended for the management to improve facilities that are not yet available, as well as increase promotion and publication regarding traditional health services and the existence of the Balai Kesehatan Traditional Masyarakat Makassar.

Abstract

Background: BPJS Kesehatan plans for Universal Health Coverage in Indonesia to reach 98% in accordance with the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN). Objective: This study aims to determine the factors associated with BPJS Health membership among traders in Pa'baeng-baeng Marketplace, Makassar City in 2023. Method: This research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional study design. The population in this study were 370 traders with a sample size of 160 traders. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling conducted at Pa'baeng-baeng Marketplace, Makassar City. Statistical tests using the chi-square test. Result: The results showed that the factors that influence the participation of traders in BPJS Kesehatan are income (p=0.043), ability to buy (p=0.013), perception (p=0.000), and family support (p=0.000). Variables that are not associated with the participation of traders in BPJS Kesehatan are education variables (p=0.676) and the number of family members (p=0.563). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence between income, ability to buy, perceptions, and family support with BPJS Health participation among traders in Pa'baeng-baeng Marketplace, Makassar City in 2023.

Abstract

Background : Stunting is not only a problem of physical growth disorders, but also causes children to become sick easily, brain and intelligence development also occurs. So, stunting is a big threat to the quality of human resources in Indonesia. The purpose of writing of this literature review is to collect determinants of Stunting in Semarang. Objective : This research uses a literature revies from Google Scholar library sources, which is presented descriptively according to the problem formulation. Result : Review from some of articles, found that maternal education level, maternal occupation, child order, birth length, child rearing patterns, exclusive breastfeeding status, family income, housing conditions, nutritional intake, and history of KEK are risk factors determining the incidence of Stunting in the Semarang. Conclusions : Stunting prevention programs must be improved, by screening and monitoring the growth and development of babies and toddlers to prevent Stunting from an early age. Public is also advised to be more diligent in carrying out examinations at health services to monitor children’s growth and development.

Abstract

Background : Performance measurement plays a major role in the world of organizations, one of which is hospitals, due to the performance appraisal it can be seen the effectiveness of determining a strategy and its implementation within a certain period of time. Objective: The research objective was to determine the performance of Madani Hospital in Pekanbaru City using the Balanced Scorecard method. Method : The research was conducted using a quantitative method. Result : The results showed that the performance of Madani Hospital Pekanbaru City in terms of customers showed that inpatients expressed satisfaction with the services provided, although there were several indicators that were unsatisfactory, while from a financial perspective the economic ratios, efficiency and effectiveness were generally good, then the internal business perspective of the performance of RSD Madani Pekanbaru City can be seen from the ratios of BOR, ALOS, TOI, and BTO which show results that are not ideal values. From the ratio of GDR and NDR which shows good results, it means that the ratio of GDR and NDR in Pekanbaru City Hospital is ideal according to the provisions of the Directorate General of Community Health and Medical Services. Conclusion : Then the results of the study using the Balanced Scorecard approach can be concluded that the performance of Madani Hospital in Pekanbaru City with a score of 0.09 is included in the "Enough" category.
