Abstract

This study aims to : (1) To determine the level of learning outcomes of IPS students by using learning model Type Jigsaw. (2) To improve the learning outcomes of IPS students of MTs Negeri 2 Rantau Prapat that learned using the learning model Type Jigsaw (3) To determine the percentage increase in learning outcomes of IPS students after using the learning model Type Jigsaw. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The subject of this research is class VII MTs Negeri 2 Rantau Prapat Labuhanbatu city as many as 27 students. And the object of research is Through learning model Type Jigsaw in improving student social studies learning outcomes at MTs Negeri 2 Rantau Prapat . Based on the results of the initial test of the Value of student learning outcomes in classical before the applied learning model Type Jigsawa was of 18.5% with the criteria is very low. The value of learning outcomes of IPS students in the classical style after the applied learning model Type Jigsaw in the first cycle of 70,37%, mean value obtained by the students have not yet reached the classical completeness that is equal to > 85%.. This means an increase in learning outcomes of IPS students from before the action kesiklus I of 51,85%, and from cycle I to cycle II by 22,22%. From this study resulted in the conclusion that the learning model Type Jigsaw can improve learning outcomes of students of class VII MTs Negeri 2 Rantau Prapat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Whether the increased ability of the mathematical modeling of students who are taught with Realistic Mathematics learning is higher than students taught by expository (2) Whether there is interaction between learning motivation of student learning on the ability of the mathematical modeling students (3) How the process of resolving questions related to the ability of the mathematical modeling of the students on the Realistic Mathematics learning and expository. This research is a quasi experiment with research population is all students of class VIII MTs Al-Majidiyah Chart Stone. The sample in this research is class VIII A and VIII class B. The instrument used consisted of: (1) test the ability of mathematical modeling with the material of the cube and beam (2) pieces of the Question. The Data in this research were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis, analysis and parametric statistics. Statistical analysis of data was done with the t test analysis and anova 2 lines. The results showed that: (1) Increase the ability of the mathematical modeling of students who are taught with learning PMR higher than students taught by expository (2) there is No interaction between the learning that is used with the learning motivation of the students to the ability of the mathematical modeling student (3) the Process of the completion of the answers of students who are taught by using learning model PMR is better compared to the expository

Abstract

perform the operation form of the algebra. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the ability of mathematical problem solving of students who obtained learning using the model of Problem Based Instruction is better than on mathematics problem solving ability of students who obtained learning using the conventional method of learning and how students ' attitudes towards learning mathematics using the model of Problem Based Instruction. The instruments used are : (1) Test the ability of early mathematics, (2) Test the ability of mathematical problem solving, (3) the response of students, (4) the observation Sheet. The instrument has met the terms validity and reliability coefficient of r_xy= 0,86 and t_hitung= 9,383. This type of research is quasi-experiment. Sample experiment 32 students, a control sample of 32 students random sampling. The object of research: problem-solving abilities. The research Data the initial test, final test and questionnaire of students ' attitudes.Of the research problem solving obtained F_(count )= 8,79 > F_(table )= 4,15 there are differences in the improvement of mathematics problem solving ability of students who are given the PBI compared with students who were given the PMK. Conclusion : There is the influence of problem-solving ability of mathematics students who received problem-based learning model (Problem Based Intruction) is better than the mathematics problem solving ability of students who obtain a model of conventional teaching.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the method of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the material of Learning mathematics with the method of Elaboration there are differences in the Ability of Mathematical Communication on the Material Logic. The population of this research there are 80 students. The sample of this research is class X-1 as an experimental class that diajarakan with STAD totaling 40 students, and the class X-2 as the control class taught by the method of Elaboration by the number of students 40 students. The average score of posttest experimental class one xe1= 5,83 with sandart deviation se1 = to 2.41, while the average score of posttest experimental class two xe27,29 with a standard deviation se2 = 2,69 . The difference score is the average value of Posttest for the experimental class two with the use of model elaboration is high compared to the score of the average value of posttest by using the cooperative model STAD of 1.46 with a standard deviation of 0.28. Based on the scores of posttest class ekaperimen one and experiment two, the obtained results of the test of significant t-test, so that the obtained value of t = 4,48 Results are in accordance with the testing criteria that H0 is accepted ttable> t> or -3,96 < 4,48. From the description above it can be concluded that there is a difference of students who are taught with STAD by the method of Elaboration on the Material Logic. Where the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and at once reject the Hypothesis of Zero ( H0) with the good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of audio-visual media in the understanding of wake space , to know the results of student learning in the field of study of mathematics as well as determine whether there is a significant influence between the influence of teaching using audio visual media on student learning outcomes in the field of study of Mathematics. The research instrument used was a test writing essay form test as much as 5 grains of matter to the pretest and 5 grains of matter to posttest. As the population in this research is all which amounted to 28 people and the sample in this research is all students as Respondents. From the analysis of the data obtained some findings that average To the average value of the pretest experiments (67,79) and the average pretest before using the conventional method (51). while in post-test data after teaching using audio visual media for the average value of posttest (80.50) and the average value of teaching using conventional methods on the posttest is (76,11). From the calculation between the t with ttable if – t1 – ½ < t < t1 – 1/2< , where -1,217 < 2,24 < 1,217 then Based on this case, H0 is rejected while the Ha accepted which stated “There is a significant effect between teaching using audio visual media on the ability to understand up the space of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of creative thinking of students that the process of learning using learning mathematics software geogebra is higher than using conventional learning models. This research is a quantitative type of Quasy Experimental Design. The subjects of this study were students with a population of 184 students. Sample in this research is class as the experimental class using learning mathematics software geogebra, class as the control class using conventional learning models. Data analysis techniques using test normality test Shapiro-Wilk test and homogeneity test with Levene. Proceed with the hypothesis test using t–Test independent sample t-test. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the research data obtained the results that the ability of creative thinking of students that the process of learning using learning mathematics software geogebra is higher than models using conventional learning. Students with the treatment of learning mathematics software geogebra, have the ability to think creatively is better compared to students with the treatment of learning using conventional learning models

Abstract

This study aims to Determine (1) whether Peer Tutoring directly affect the Self Confidence of the students of SMA N I Rantau Selamat (2) whether Peer Tutoring has a direct effect on the Ability of Mathematical Communication Students of SMA N I Rantau Selamat (3) what is the Self Confidence a direct effect on the Ability of Mathematical Communication Students of SMA N I Rantau Selamat (4) what is Peer Tutoring influence on Mathematical Communication Skills of Students through Self Confidence (as an intervening) in students of SMA N I Rantau Selamat. This research is a quantitative research using the instrument test to get the value of mathematical communication of students and instruments in the form of a questionnaire to obtain data of peer tutoring and self confidence. The population in this research is students of class X SMA N I Rantau Selamat and sample in this research as many as 19 people with sampling through purposive sampling. Tool of data analysis in this research using the help of IBM SPSS 20. The method of analysis used is descriptive analysis, classical assumption test (normality test and heteroscedasticity test), and path analysis. Based on the analysis of the research, it can be concluded (1) the learning model of peer tutoring has a positive effect but not significant to the self confidence of students (2) learning model of peer tutoring has a positive effect and significant impact on mathematical communication (3) self-confidence has a positive effect but not significant to the mathematical communication (4) Self Confidence can not mediate the effect of Peer Tutoring on Mathematical Communication.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to improve the skills learners in understanding the reading text in English through STAD cooperative learning methods. The subjects were English learners at junior high school in Jakarta. Data collected at the initial observation as the first data, and then drafted two cycles are expected to be able to improve the skills of learners in understanding reading English text. The research model using action research model of Kurt Lewin, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. This action research was conducted over a six-month consisting of two observation meetings and eight meetings in two cycles. Four meetings, the first cycle and the second cycle of four meetings. Repairs carried out in every cycle and follow the post-test at the end of learning. Data were analyzed through qualitative and quantitative procedures. The study states that the ability of learners to understand the English text on the first cycle only 77.06. Then, the ability of learners rose to 82.55 in the second cycle. Based on that, the cooperative learning model of STAD very effective in improving the quality of the learning process and the ability of learners in understanding English texts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of biology students through the Modification of the Model Problem Solving Learning Approach With Offline in class X SMK Swasta Az Zahra Sonomartani. Types of quantitative research through the method of Non-equialent Control Group Design. The population used in this study 1 class i.e. class X Computer Engineering and Networks that learned by a Modification of the Model Problem Solving Learning Approach Offline. Data collection in this study using the test, as well as the technique of data analysis used t-Test. The results of the test shows the average value of the pretest of the 34 students in the class that learned Modification of the Model Problem Solving Learning Approach with Offline namely 46,24 with a standard deviation of 7,897 and on the class that learned Modification of the Model Problem Solving Learning approach with Offline of 34 students from the average value of posttest of 73,56 with a standard deviation of 3,230. Berdasrakan the results of hypothesis testing using independent t-test was calculated using IBM SPSS Stastics Version 20 for windows was obtained tcount > ttable that is (2,833 > 1,671) so it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes of biology by using a modification of the model Problem Solving learning approach with offline in class X SMK Swasta Az Zahra Sonomartani.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the: (1) the Utilization of WhatsApp as a learning medium in the tissues of the pandemic of Covid-19 in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Na.IX-X Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara (2) Obstacles that occur in the use of WhatsApp as a learning medium in the tissues of the pandemic of Covid-19 in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Na.IX-X Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara (3) the Solution is to overcome the barriers in the use of WhatsApp as a learning medium in the tissues of the pandemic of Covid-19 in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Na.IX-X Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Na.IX-X North Labuhanbatu District in the July to September 2021. This type of research is qualitative descriptive type of research phenomenology that describes about the use of WhatsApp as a learning medium in the tissues of the pandemic Covid-19. Data from this study were obtained through an interview with the Guardian class which became the main source of this research, then interviews with 5 students of class XI IPA-A, observation form observation passive participation and documentation as supporting data from the results of the interview. The results of the research showed that the teachers have been utilizing WhatsApp as a learning media to support the learning activities in the network (Online) by utilizing the various features available such as features photos, videos, documents and video call. Then in the implementation of the utilization of WhatsApp as a medium of learning there are several obstacles, namely the interference Signal, the memory of the Mobile phone is full, the Lack of Interaction, it is difficult to know the seriousness of the learners, the lack of learning motivation of learners, supporting facilities for online learning, and it is difficult to understand the material given, as well as in this study decrypt the solution is to overcome the obstacles that occur from the use of whatsApp as a learning medium in the tissues of the pandemic Covid-19. From the results of this study it is suggested that educators are able to make learning variations, especially using the features of yag there on whatsApp, master and use of ICT in the learning process in the network (Online)
