Abstract

Waste that cannot be recycled and processed properly will be very dangerous for human health and the environment. Based on data from the Environmental Service of Jambi City, garbage in Jambi City reached a total of 465,693,805 kg/day, and the largest waste generation data was in Alam Barajo District where the waste generated was 75,409,004 kg/day. This research is an observational study that uses a quantitative approach with a cross sectional method. The population of Alam Barajo sub-district is 30,786 families. The sampling technique is a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. Bivariate analysis using thetest Chi-Square, the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, namely knowledge (p = 0.000), attitude (p = 0.122), support from community leaders (p = 0.607), support from health workers (p = 0.227) with waste management household. There is a relationship between knowledge and household waste management in Alam Barajo sub-district and there is no relationship between attitudes, support from community leaders, support from health workers and household waste management.

Abstract

Primary dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain that is found without obvious abnormalities of the genital organs. Primary dysmenorrhea often occurs in adolescent girls aged 10-14 years (early adolescence). Primary dysmenorrhea refers to pain without obvious pathological pelvic disease or menstrual pain with normal pelvic anatomy, usually beginning in adolescence after their ovulatory cycle has established. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age of menarche, duration of menstruation and exercise habits in adolescent girls in Sitinjau Laut District. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional design. Data collection was carried out in March-April 2021. The research population was... Young Women with a research sample of 198 young women. Sampling was done by using proportional random sampling technique. This study consisted of the independent variable "age of menarche, duration of menstruation and exercise habits" and the dependent variable "primary dysmenorrhea". Data analysis using Chi-Square test. The incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls is 74.2%. Factors related to the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls were age at menarche (P=0.000; 1.870; 95% CI 1.371-2.552) and length of menstruation (P=0.001; 0.720; 95% CI 0.635-0.817). And there is no relationship between exercise habits (P=0.720; 1.184 95% CI 1.012-1.835). There is a relationship between the age of menarche with the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea and the length of menstruation in adolescent girls in the District of Sitinjau Laut.

Abstract

      Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an acute viral-febrile disease, often characterized by headache, bone or joint pain and muscle, and rash as a symptom. In Indonesia in 2011 there were 65,432 cases with 595 deaths. East Java Province has determined outbreaks of DHF since 2015 in 37 districts / cities, with a total of 3,136 cases of dengue fever and 52 deaths. Pasuruan Regency is one of Kabupeten in East Java with the highest death rate from DHF compared to other regencies or cities, which is 28 people in 2020. There are many factors that can affect, pray the only environment and vector. The purpose of this research is to see the relationship of environmental factors and vector with the incidence of DBD in Pasuruan Regency. This research is an observational research with case control design. The sample in this research were 76 respondents consisting of 38 case groups and 38 control groups representing from 3 sub-districts in Pasuruan Regency (Gempol, Beji and Kraton Sub-district). Data analysis with Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between water pH in house (p = 0.005, OR = 5,343), indoor air temperature (p = 0.046, OR = 3,221), air humidity in house (p = 0.049, OR = 3,923) and presence of larvae (p = 0.037, OR = 3.032) with the incidence of DHF in Pasuruan Regency. The most influential factor in increasing the risk of DHF incidence in Pasuruan Regency is the pH of water, the temperature inside the house and the presence of larvae around the house. It needs cross-sector cooperation to pay attention to the condition of environmental sanitation so it will not be a good place for Ae mosquito development. aegypti. Providing counseling to people who focus on the source of the problem, and the community in order to prevent the occurrence of transmission of DHF by breaking the chain of transmission.

Abstract

Background: Performance is a function of encouragement and expertise for a person in carrying out an obligation and work in order to have a certain degree of ability and ability. Jambi Health Department report in 2020 it was known that of the 12 types of health services in the Jambi City Health Office, there are 8 health service performances that have decreased. This research aims to analyzed the performance of employees at the Jambi City Health Office. Methods: This type of research was a quantitative research with a cross sectional research design. Total population in this research were 140 respondents with a total sample of 82 respondents. Data collected was carried out in January 2022 to March 2022. Data collected used questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzed with SPSS with multiple linear regression test. Results: Based on the results research, the final model found that employee performance = 1.709 - 0.062 age + 0,098 vision and mission + 0.355 measure of success + 0.121 satisfaction with insentive + 0.262 satisfaction with superiors + 0.109 satisfaction with colleagues. The most influential factor on employee performance was the measure of success where if you increase it 100% (1 point) then the performance will increase by 31.7%. Conclusion: The most influential factor on employee performance was measure of success where if increased by 100% (1 point) then the performance will increase by 31.7%. It is hope that employees who are expected to use time effectively, know the results that each program wants, have supporting factors in achieving success, pay attention to employee incentives, superiors must be firm in giving warnings to employees who violate, and employees increase interaction with co-workers achieved.

Abstract

Background : According to WHO, every day in 2019 around 810 women died, by the end of the year 295,000 people from 94% of them were in developing countries. The direct cause of maternal death by 90% are complications that occur during delivery and after delivery. Chronic Energy Deficiency is a condition caused by an imbalance in nutritional intake between energy and protein, so that the nutrients needed by the body are not fulfilled. Based on the results of the Nutrition Status Monitoring in 2017, it was found that the percentage of pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency in Indonesia was 14.8%. The prevalence of CED in pregnant women in Indonesia based on Riskesdas data in 2018 is 17.3% and based on the Indonesian Health profile that the incidence of CED in pregnant women in 2019 is 17.9% Objective : Knowing the relationship between age and the incidence of chronic energy deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women Methods : Analytical with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were all maternity mothers registered in the register from March 2021 to May 2022 as many as 224 people (total sampling). Results : The distribution of the frequency of CED incidence in pregnant women is 366.6%. Age of pregnant women mostly aged 20-35 years 69.2%, LBW 3.6% and 3.1% bleeding. There is a significant relationship between age and the incidence of CED in pregnant women with a p value of 0.000. Conclusions and Suggestions: There is a significant relationship between age and the incidence of CED in pregnant women. It is expected that health workers, especially midwives, provide counseling to pregnant women about nutritional needs during pregnancy.

Abstract

Background : Muscle pain or it can also be called myalgia is one of many disorders and diseases in the body. In general, myalgia is caused by misuse of muscles or muscles that are too tense. Several nursing action therapies for joint pain management using non-pharmacological therapy, one of which is Cupping Therapy, Research Objectives: The results of the application of the wet cupping technique to reduce the pain scale in the shoulder with Trapezius Myalgia in the work area of the Sidorejo Health Center 2022., Research Methods: The Type of This research is descriptive by using the case method. The study was conducted in April 2022. The subjects in this case study were two clients with a diagnosis of Trapezius Myalgia who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Research Results: After cupping therapy was performed for 1 time in 2 weeks, the results showed that the pain scale in the subjects decreased in Subject I from pain scale 5 (moderate pain) to pain scale 2 (mild pain) and in subject II there was a decrease in pain scale from pain scale 6 (moderate pain) to pain scale 3 (mild pain). Conclusion: The implementation of cupping therapy can reduce the pain scale in patients with Trapezius myalgia according to the subject's condition and lifestyle factors in each subject in the working area of the Sidorejo Health Center, Lubuklinggau City.

Abstract

Family Planning Program (KB) using contraceptives is an effort to suppress the rate of population growth. In 2020, the proportion of LACMs (13.4%) in the working area of ​​the Depati Tujuh Health Center is smaller than the proportion of non-LACMs (86.6%) meaning that this achievement has not met the target of the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan (25.11%). The purpose of the research was to determine the determinants of the use of the Long-Acting Contraceptive Methods (LACMs) on family planning acceptors in the working area of ​​the Depati Tujuh Koto Tuo Health Center, Kerinci Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design and an analytical survey research method. The number of research samples was 117 respondents who were taken using the proportional random sampling technique. Data collection in April-May 2021. The dependent variable is the use of LACMs while the independent variables are work status, knowledge, attitudes, husband's support, and the role of health workers. Data analysis using chi-square and cox regression. The results showed that the proportion of LACMs was 17.9%. There was a relationship between working status (PR=1.33; 95% CI=1.01-1.75), knowledge (PR=1.23; 95% CI=1.06-1.42), husband's support (PR= 1.30; 95% CI=1.10-1.53), and the role of health workers (PR=1.40; 95% CI=1.17-1.67) with the use of LACMs. There was no relationship between attitude (PR=1.15; 95% CI=0.98-1.36) with the use of LACMs. The dominant factor in the use of LACMs in the working area of ​​the Depati Tujuh Health Center in 2021 is the role of health workers (RR=6.34; 95% CI=1.45-27.71).

Abstract

Breast milk is the main nutrient for babies to protect them against possible disease attacks. The balance of nutrients in breast milk is at its best and the milk is in the best form for the baby's body. The purpose of this study is to deter-mine the effectiveness of the application. The research design used in this study was observational with a prospective cohort approach. Where this research intends to look at several groups based on certain characteristics by taking pur-posive sampling and samples of 30 babies including 15 Exclusive Breastfeeding Groups, 15 Formula Milk Mix Groups, IMD Groups and Formula Milk Mixes in the Work Area of the Bara-Baraya Health Center in 2022. Instru-ments The research used is an observation sheet analyzed using the Chi-Square Fisher Exact test analytical test. Re-search Results There is a significant relationship between Exclusive Breastfeeding, and Mixed Formula Milk to in-crease body weight, and body length. While the results obtained a p value of 0.023 which means there is a significant relationship between the application of exclusive breastfeeding to stunting prevention. In the exclusive breastfeeding group, the stunting rate was lower than those using formula milk, and those who carried out early initiation of breast-feeding according to the standard, which was 1 hour long, tended to give exclusive breastfeeding on demand.

Abstract

The first stage process accompanied by pain which is a physiological process, is a subjective experience of physical sensations associated with uterine contractions, dilation and cervical thinning. Primiparous mothers are often worried because they do not understand how to deal with labor. Primipara tends to experience more anxiety to cause tension and fear so that it cannot withstand the pain. The purpose of this study was to look for the effect of an upright position on pain in the first phase of the active phase of primiparous labor in the Puskesmas Jumpandang Baru Makassar in 2019. The study was conducted in January to October 2019 at the Jumpandang Baru Public Health Center in Makassar. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with the Post Test Only Group Design approach. The population in this study were all women giving birth at the Jumpandang Baru Makassar health center in January to October 2019. The sample in this study was part of the population of women giving birth at the Jumpandang Baru Makassar health center in January to October 2019 as many as 15 people with Purposive Sampling.
