Abstract

ABSTRACTFactors that affect the shift in chemical equilibrium are materials that are still difficult for high school students, students experience misconceptions and have low understanding and motivation to learn. The demands of the 2013 curriculum should be student-centered learning and apply information and communication technology in the learning process. This research aims to develop integrated PowerPoint-iSpring learning media prompting questions on material factors influencing chemical equilibrium shifts of grade XI SMA/MA. The type of research used is development research using plomp model. PowerPoint-iSpring learning media is integrated with prompting questions. Questions are equipped with feedback on right or wrong answers so that students can be led in the learning process. The PowerPoint-iSpring learning medium also contains quiz questions and evaluation questions to be able to measure the extent to which students' understanding of the material factors influence chemical equilibrium shifts. Instumen analysis of data used in the form of validity questionnaires. The results of the assessment of each validity questionnaire assessed using Aikens'V obtained an average score of content validity, construct validity, and validity of media experts 0.091;0,907;0.933 with valid category. Tuntutan pada kurikulum 2013 seharusnya pembelajaran bersifat student-centered dan menerapkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran PowerPoint-iSpring terintegrasi pertanyaan prompting pada materi faktor-faktor mempengaruhi pergeseran kesetimbangan kimia kelas XI SMA/MA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah development research dengan menggunakan model Plomp. Media pembelajaran PowerPoint-iSpring diintegrasikan dengan pertanyaan menuntun (prompting). Pertanyaan dilengkapi dengan feedback jawaban benar atau salah sehingga siswa dapat dituntun dalam proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran PowerPoint-iSpring juga berisi soal kuis dan soal evaluasi untuk dapat mengukur sejauh mana pemahaman siswa terhadap materi faktor-faktor mempengaruhi pergeseran kesetimbangan kimia. Instumen analisa data yang digunakan berupa angket validitas. Hasil penilaian terhadap masing-masing angket validitas dinilai menggunakan AikensV memperoleh skor rata-rata validitas konten, validitas konstruk, dan validitas ahli media 0,091;0,907;0,933 dengan kategori valid. Penelitian ini perlu dilakukan tindak lanjut berupa uji praktikalitas dan uji efektifitas untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektifitasan media yang telah dikembangkan.Kata Kunci: Faktor-Faktor Mempengaruhi Pergeseran Kesetimbangan Kimia, Media Pembelajaran Powerpoint-iSpring, Pertanyaan Prompting, Plomp, Validitas.

Abstract

ABSTRACTInteractive learning media are able to make students active and increase learning independence so that they can support the demands of the 2013 curriculum in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to develop an integrated PowerPoint-iSpring learning media for prompting questions on hydrocarbon material. The Plomp model is the research model selected for development research, but the research stage is limited to the prototype III stage, that is expert review and one to one evaluation. The media assessment was assessed by five material expert validators who assessed the validation of media content and constructs, and three media expert validators who assessed media technicalities. The data collection instruments consisted of interview guide sheets, content validation questionnaires, constructs and media experts. The results of the assessment of each questionnaire were analyzed using the Aikens'V formula. The value of V on content, construct and media technical validation is 0.93 respectively; 0.93; 0.94 so that it can be concluded that the PowerPoint-iSpring learning media integrated prompting questions on hydrocarbon materials that have been developed is valid.Keywords:PowerPoint-iSpring, Prompting Question, Hydrocarbon, PlompABSTRAKMedia pembelajaran interaktif mampu membuat siswa aktif dan meningkatkan kemandirian belajar sehingga dapat mendukung tuntutan kurikulum 2013 pada proses pembelajaran. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to generate and measure the value of the validity and practicality of the E-LKPD buffer solution. E-LKPD is prepared based on a guided inquiry model. The type of research used is Research and Development using the plomp development model. The research instrument was a content and construct validity sheet as well as a practicality questionnaire. The E-LKPD was validated by 2 chemistry lecturers at Padang State University and 1 chemistry teacher, as well as a practicality test (field test) through 15 students of class XI SMAN 4 Padang. The results of the study found that the guided inquiry-based worksheets had a high level of category validity (V=0.91) and the practicality level of students with a very practical category on the score (NP=90%). This research is recommended for further research in terms of testing the effectiveness of the products that have been developed.Keywords: Guided Inquiry, E-LKPD, Buffer Solution, Plomp ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan serta mengukur nilai validitas dan praktikalitasE-LKPD larutan penyangga. E-LKPD disusun berdasarkan model inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah Reseacrh and Development memakai model pengembangan plomp. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validitas konten dan konstruk serta angket praktikalitas. E-LKPD divalidasi oleh 2 orang dosen kimia Universitas Negeri Padang dan 1 orang guru kimia, serta uji kepraktisan (uji lapangan) melalui 15 orang siswa kelas XI SMAN 4 Padang. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing memiliki tingkat validitas kategori tinggi (V=0,91) dan tingkat kepraktisan siswa dengan kategori sangat praktis pada nilai (NP=90%). Penelitian ini direkomendasikan untuk penelitian selanjutnya dalam hal uji efektivitas produk yang telah dikembangkan.Kata Kunci: Inkuiri Terbimbing, E-LKPD, Larutan Penyangga, Plomp.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn the 2013 curriculum, students are active, especially in finding concepts in the learning process. In addition, in the learning process, students are expected to be competent in using and utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a medium in learning to improve the quality of learning.This study aims to develop PowerPoint-iSpring learning media on voltaic cell material for class XII SMA/MA. This research used ti determine the level of validity of the learning media that has been made. This develop media is integrated with question prompting that can help student find concepts. The type of research used is the development research using the Plomp model which concists of three stages: preliminary stage, prototyping stage, and assessment phase (this research was carried out until prototyping III stage). This learning media was validated by chemistry lectures, engineering lectures of FMIPA UNP and chemistry teachers at SMAN 4 Padang using instruments in the form of validation sheets. Media yang dikembangakan ini terintegrasi dengan pertanyaan prompting yang dapat membantu siswa dalam menemukan konsep. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian pengembangan (Development Research) dengan menggunakan model Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahap penelitan pendahuluan (preliminary research), tahap prototipe (prototyping stage), dan tahap penilaian (assesement phase) (penelitian ini dilakukan sampai tahap prototipe III). Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop interactive PowerPoint learning media based on guided inquiry on the acid-base topic and reveal the validity and practicality of the developed media. This research belongs to the type of research and development with 4-D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate). Limited to the develop stage. The instrument of this research is a questionnaire of validity test and practicality test. The subjects of the validity test of this interactive PowerPoint learning media were two chemistry department lecturers and three SMA chemistry teachers. The practicality test subjects of this interactive PowerPoint learning media were three SMA chemistry teachers and sixteen SMAN 1 Batang Kapas students. The data from the validity and practicality tests were analyzed using the Aiken's V formula and descriptive analysis methods. Based on the results of the analysis of the validity test data obtained a score of 0.87 with a valid category. And the results of the analysis of the practicality test data on teachers obtained a value of 90% and for students of 95.4% with a very high practicality category. Abstract

ABSTACTThe purpose of this research is to produce the Game Snakes and Ladders Chemistry as a variety of exercises to strengthen students concepts on the material Interparticle Interaction and determine the level of validity of the media function. This research was conducted with a Plomp development model consisting of 3 stages, namely: (1)preliminary research, (2) prototype phase and (3) assessment phase. This research is limited to the stage of prototype phase and formative evaluation to the stage of one-to-one testing and expert review. Expert review was conducted by testing the validity by 2 chemistry lecturers and 2 chemistry teachers. Data were collected using a validity questionnaire which was then analyzed using the Aiken's V formula. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Covid-19 pandemic has changed the face-to-face learning process to online learning. One of the subjects conducted online is chemistry. However, learning can take place well by utilizing various types of information technology (IT)-based platforms such as e-learning. Therefore, this literature review aims to discuss the implementation of chemistry learning during the pandemic, which includes the e-learning platform used, the response to chemistry learning and the challenges and obstacles faced during chemistry online learning. The research method used is literature study or library research. Meanwhile, the data sources used are secondary data obtained from various sources such as journals, activity reports, books and other sources relevant to the research. The research instrument is a check-list for the classification of research materials, writing maps and research note formats. The results showed that the most widely used learning platforms were WhatsApp, Google Classroom and Zoom Cloud Meetings. During learning, the responses of students were quite diverse, ranging from quite low to high enthusiasm. The obstacles of learning implementation in general are the internet network, lack of IT mastery, learning media that are less interactive. So that it is expected to be able to train IT mastery, especially how to use e-learning platforms and create interactive learning media.Keywords: Chemistry, Covid-19, E-Learning, Literature Review ABSTRAKPandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah proses pembelajaran tatap muka ke pembelajaran daring. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang dilakukan secara daring adalah kimia. Walaupun demikian, pembelajaran tetap dapat berlangsung dengan baik melalui berbagai jenis platform berbasis teknologi informasi (IT) seperti e-learning. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang penerapan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kimia secara daring dimasa pandemi, yang meliputi dari platform e-learning yang digunakan, respon terhadap pembelajaran daring kimia dan tantangan yang dihadapi selama pambelajaran kimia secara daring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur atau penelitian kepustakaan. Sedangkan, sumber data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber yang relevan seperti jurnal, laporan kegiatan, dan buku. Adapun instrumen penelitian ini adalah daftar check-list klasifikasi bahan penelitian, peta penulisan dan format catatan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa platform pembelajaran yang paling banyak digunakan adalah WhatsApp, Google Classroom dan Zoom Cloud Meetings. Selama pembelajaran, peserta didik memberikan respon antusiasme yang cukup beragam mulai dari yang rendah hingga yang cukup tinggi. Adapun tantangan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada umumnya adalah jaringan internet, kurangnya kemampuan penguasaan IT, media pembelajaran kurang interaktif. Sehingga pendidik dapat meningkatkan penguasaan IT terutama cara penggunaan platform e-learning dan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif.Kata Kunci: Covid-19, E-Learning, Kimia, Studi Literatur

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to produce a game of chemical snakes and ladders as a learning media on oxidation-reduction reactions (Redox) and compound nomenclature which then determines the level of validity based on the function of the media. This type of research is Educational Design Research by applying the Plomp development model which consists of three stages, namely the preliminary research stage, the prototype formation (prototyping stage) and the assessment phase (assessment phase). This research is limited to the expert review stage which is part of the prototyping stage. The development of this chemical snake and ladder game was validated by 4 validators, two chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP and two chemistry teachers at SMA N 1 Gunung Tuleh. The instrument of this research is a validity questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Aiken V formula. Abstract

ABSTRACT The availability of the chemistry game of snakes and ladders that have tested for validity, practicality and effectiveness, but has not tested for their effect on student achievement in the cognitive domain. The purpose this study to determine the effect of using the chemistry game of snakes and ladders on colloid material on students’ achievement of MAN 1 Padang Lawas. This type of research is a quasi- research and the research design is Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. The population of this study all students of class. Sampling used the Simple Random Sampling technique, so that the XI MIA 1 class was obtained as the experimental class and the XI MIA 3 class as the control class. From this assessment, the results of the posttest obtained with an average value of 82.2 for the experimental class and 78.8 for the control class. Data analysis was performed by t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the analysis obtained tcount = 4.438 and ttable = 1.665. Because tcount > ttabel means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be said that there is a significant effect of using colloid chemistry game media on the achievement in class XI MAN 1 Padang Lawas. keywords, influence, chemstry snake and ladders game, colloid, students’ achievement

Abstract

ABSTRACTScience learning which has lesson of concern makes students still not wholly able to develop their knowledge. This study aims to determine and explain the students level of science process skills using creative problem solving (CPS) models for students in practical activities and discussions. This research was conducted in the second semester of class XI IPA4 State Senior High School 1 Kampar in the 2018/2019 academic year. The selected material is solubility and solubility product (Ksp). Which designed by One Shoot Case Study without a comparison group using a sample of 34 students. The research instrument consisted of observation sheets, essay tests, and interviews used to determine the level of students' science process skills. Based on the data obtained, it shows that the highest aspect of students' science process skills is observing. Judging from the observation sheet on practicum activities, the average percentage is 77.82%. The lowest aspect of science process skills is the theoretical aspect which is only 61.29%. In comparison, the observation in discussion activities without practicum is also the highest aspect of observing with a percentage of 79 .99% and the lowest on the theoretical aspect of 69.98% and 88.88% based on post-test questions with good categories. Overall, the results of data analysis showed that the students' science process skills were good.Keywords: Science Process Skill, Creative Problem Solving (CPS), Solubility and its ProductABSTRAKPembelajaran sains yang memiliki pengajaran yang membuat siswa masih belum sepenuhnya bisa mengembangkan pengetahuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan tingkat keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan penggunaan model creative problem solving (CPS) terhadap siswa pada kegiatan praktikum dan diskusi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di semester dua kelas XI IPA4 SMA Negeri 1 Kampar pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Materi yang dipilih yaitu kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan (Ksp). Dimana desainnya One Shoot Case Study tanpa kelompok pembanding dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 34 siswa. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari lembar observasi, tes esai dan wawancara yang digunakan dalam mengetahui tingkat keterampilan proses sains siswa. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa aspek keterampilan proses sains siswa tertinggi adalah mengamati. Dilihat dari lembar observasi kegiatan praktikum rata-rata persentasinya adalah 77,82%. Aspek keterampilan proses sains terendah yaitu aspek berhipotesis yang hanya sebesar 61,29%. Sebagai perbandingan, observasi pada kegiatan diskusi tanpa praktikum yang tertinggi juga pada aspek mengamati dengan persentasi sebesar 79,99% dan terendah pada aspek berhipotesis sebesar 69,98% dan 88,88% berdasarkan soal post-test dengan kategori baik.
