Al-Khazini: Journal of Physical Education is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (March and September) by the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar. Al-Khazini: Journal of Physics Education is an integrated forum to communicate the progress of science in the field of physics education. This journal reports significant new findings related to physics education; development of instructional media, development of learning methods, application of learning methods,and several applications of media in physics learning. Al-Khazini: Journal of Physical Education publishes comprehensive research articles and invites reviews from leading experts in their fields. Papers will be selected that have high scientific value, provide important new knowledge, and have high interest. Al-Khazini: The Indonesian Journal of Physics Education was only formed in 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe the description of the achievement and learning outcomes of physics students who are taught using the CRH (Course Review Horay) model assisted by video questions about animation to students of class XI MIA SMAN 6 Takalar. 2) Describing a description of the achievement and learning outcomes of students who are not taught physics by using the CRH (Course Review Horay) model with the aid of video animation questions for students in class XI MIA SMAN 6 Takalar. 3) Describe whether the CRH (Course Review Horay) model assisted by video about animation is effective on the achievement and learning outcomes of physics students in class XI MIA SMAN 6 Takalar. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with the non-equivalent post-test only control group design. This study took place at SMAN 6 Takalar with a population of 99 people from class XI MIA and the sample was 62 people from class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2. The results showed the average value of student learning achievement in the experimental class was 83.4 in the medium category, the average value of the learning outcomes test in the experimental class was 58.5 in the good and sufficient categories. While the average value of student learning achievement in the control class is 77.5 in the medium category, the average value of the control class learning achievement test is 42.42 in the sufficient category. The implication of this research is that the results of this study are expected to be used as comparisons and references in finding other learning models that can improve student achievement and learning outcomes, especially in physics subjects.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to: 1) to determine the implementation of practicum using video during online learning in the basic physics experimental course 1 class of 2020 physics education at UIN Alauddin Makassar, 2) to find out the science process skills (KPS) of students in the experimental course. basic physics 1 class 2020 physics education UIN Alauddin Makassar, 3) to find out whether there is a relationship between the implementation of physics practicum using video and science process skills (KPS) in online learning for the basic physics experimental course 1 class 2020 UIN Alauddin Makassar. The type of research is Ex post facto research with correlation design. The results showed that 1) The description of the implementation of physics practicum using video for physics education students batch 2020 was in the medium category with an average result of 20.35, 2) The description of science process skills in physics education students batch 2020 was in the low category with results an average of 43.88, 3) there is no significant relationship between the implementation of physics practicum using video with science process skills. This can be seen from the results of the Spearman rank correlation analysis, namely the data t count < t table.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to determine the implementation of Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning Utilizing Information and Communication Technology (PAKEMATIK) and improve the learning outcomes of class IX.5 students in Integrated Science subjects with magnetism material at SMP Negeri 1 Tarowang Regency. Jeneponto with a PAKEMATIC approach. The subjects of this study were students of class IX.5, totaling 23 people. This research was carried out in two cycles with three face-to-face meetings in each cycle. The flow of this research uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes using the PAKEMATIC approach, with results in each cycle from 52% to 86 % in cycle I and cycle II. The implication of this research is that teachers can implement the PAKEMATIC approach as an alternative to learning in the classroom so that it is not monotonous and more varied.

Abstract

The learning model becomes an important factor when the learning process is carried out because the learning model is a plan that helps based on the continuity of the learning process and can be implemented in accordance with the learning objectives. So it is necessary to apply an experimental-based problem besed learning (PBL) learning model to increase students’ learning activitieson vibration material. This study aims to (1) apply the experimental-based problem-based learning (PBL) learning model to improve student learning activities (2) find out the results of observations obtained through the experimental-based problem based learning, learning model. The research method used is the experimental research method (the Non-Equivalent Group Design). The results obtained from three observers are in the experimental class the average score for implementation =89%, Reaction =89% and activity = 84% with a very active category. While in the control class the average score for implementation =53% reaction 55% and activity 51% with the less active category. So it can be said that the application of the experimental-based learning model can improve the learning activities of students on vibration material at SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Ulim.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan teknik Picture and Graph Technology kelas IX MTs Pesantren Al-Qamar. 2) Mengetahui hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik yang tidak diajar menggunakana model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan teknik Picture and Graph Technology kelas IX MTs Pesantren Al-Qamar. 3) Mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dan tidak diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan teknik Picture and Graph Technology kelas IX MTs Pesantren Al-Qamar.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah The Non Ekuivalen Post-test Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas IX MTs Pesantren Al-Qamar pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 67 orang yang terdiri atas 3 kelas. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini berasal dari kelas IX A dan IX B yang masing-masing berjumlah 23 orang dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara convenence sampling.Hasil penelitian deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IX A yang tidak diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan teknik Picture and Graph Technology sebesar 63,91 dan yang diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan teknik Picture and Graph Technology sebesar 80,00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan teknik Picture and Graph Technology lebih efektif daripada saat diajar menggunakan pembelajaran Konvensional.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' conceptual understanding before being taught using a problem based learning (PBL) learning model, to describe students' conceptual understanding after being taught using a problem based learning (PBL) learning model, and to analyze the increase in conceptual understanding before and after the application of the model. problem based learning (PBL) at SMAN Wongsorejo. This type of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were all students of class XI MIA 3 SMAN 1 Wongsorejo for the academic year 2021-2022. The data collection technique used purposive sampling technique. The instruments used are observation instruments and concept understanding tests. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the average value of students' conceptual understanding before the problem-based learning (PBL) model is applied is 34.59. Meanwhile, the average value of students' conceptual understanding after applying the problem based learning (PBL) model is 76.62.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study using a posttest only control design. The research population was all the students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Satarmese with totaly 78 students from 3 classes. Simple random sampling was used to determine the control class was XI MIA 1 and the experimental class was XI MIA 2. The instruments used were tests, observations and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistics and independent sample t-test different tests to answer the research problem formulation in the form of: (1) how much students' physics learning outcomes without applying the blended learning model in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Satarmese. (2) how much the physics learning outcomes of students who apply the blended learning model in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Satarmese. (3) is there a significant effect of the blended learning model on the physics learning outcomes of students in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Satarmese. The research was conducted on Dynamic Fluids so that the results showed that Blended learning model was categorized as adequate. This can be seen from the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class greater than the average student learning outcome in the control class. And the results of hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test with value t-count greater than t-table

Abstract

This type of research is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of the stages of definition, planning, development, and dissemination. This study aims to describe the steps for developing the basic physics practicum module 1 integrated with the verses of the Qur'an and to determine the feasibility level of the basic physics practicum module 1 integrated with the verses of the Qur'an in terms of the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research instruments used were validation sheets, observation sheets, and learning outcomes test questions. The data was then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the module met the valid criteria with an average value of 0.91. The practicality level of the observation data shows a very practical and practical response with a percentage of 93.4%. The effectiveness is based on the learning outcomes test with the percentage of learning outcomes completeness 90%. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the integrated basic physics 1 practicum module or the Qur'an developed has the categories of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in students' understanding of physics concepts through the application of jigsaw learning strategies and learning tournaments. The research design used was the matching only post-test group design. The research population was 286 people spread over 9 classes. The research sample amounted to 64 people obtained by using a two-step matching sampling technique and spread evenly in two classes, namely experimental class 1 and experimental class 2. Experimental class 1 was taught by jigsaw learning strategy and experimental class 2 was taught by learning tournament strategy. The instrument used is a concept understanding test instrument. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average score of understanding the concepts of students who were taught with the jigsaw strategy was 11.97 and the learning tournament strategy was 10.31. The difference test analysis shows that the arithmetic significance value = 0.01 is smaller than the 0.05 significance level, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in understanding physics concepts between students who are taught with the Jigsaw learning strategy and students who are taught with the learning tournament strategy.

Abstract

Thisstudy aims to describe students' critical thinking skills in solving thermodynamic problems after applying the SQ3R learning model (survey, question, read, recite, review) combined with reading literacy. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were 31 students of class XI IPA 3 of SMAN 1 Maros. The data collection technique used is a multiple choice objective test of 15 numbers consisting of indicators of critical thinking ability: giving simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, making further explanations, making strategies and concept techniques that include aspects of the ability to analyze and evaluate. Based on data analysis, it was found that the average critical thinking skills of students in thermodynamics learning were 79.80 in the high category, with details as follows: (1) The percentage of students who had a very high level of critical thinking skills was 19. ,35%, high category 80.65%, medium category 0%, low category 0% very low category 0%; (2) The percentage of students' ability to answer questions on indicators of ability to provide simple explanations is 95%, basic skills are 100%, conclude 72%, make further explanations 73% and the ability to make strategies and concepts 45%.
