Asas wa Tandhim: Jurnal Hukum, Pendidikan, dan Sosial Keagamaan (AwTJHPSA) is a peer-reviewed, open access scholarly journal published by Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta. Focus AwTJHPSA is publishing high-quality manuscripts in forms of original research articles, and discussions to answer important and interesting questions, develop or test theory, replicate prior studies, explore interesting phenomena, review and synthesize existing research and provide new perspectives aimed at stimulating future theory development and empirical research on all aspects of social science and humanity, especially that relate to human religion, for promoting the integration of social science and humanity. <![CDATA[This research aims to explore the reasons for candidates and judges' considerations in permitting polygamous marriages at the KUA, Playen District, Gunungkidul Regency in 2012-2015. In this rural area, polygamous marriages are quite large. Sociological juridical research is carried out with a qualitative approach. Information collection was carried out by searching polygamy decision documents in the KUA of Playen District in 2012-2015 accompanied by interviews with KUA officials at the research location. Based on the content analysis, it has been found that there are two types of reasons considered by the judges in determining the permit for polygamous marriages. Suggestions for tightening administrative requirements and the intensity of socialization of polygamous marriages can be carried out by KUA so that marriage registration can run well without harming all parties.]]>

<![CDATA[This study investigates the need for sustainable waste management in the Malioboro area of Yogyakarta city. Because the accuracy of perspective, approach, program choice, and technical implementation as well as support capacity in the field that has not been maximized, management needs to be reviewed. There are only 6 cleaning staff prepared by UPT Malioboro with limited working time. In this research, the method used is descriptive quantitative rationalistic method. The rationalistic approach is the process of testing the truth not only through sensual empiricism (measured by the senses) but continued through the meaning of sensual empiricism, logical empiricism (thinking) and mental empiricism (ethics). Sensual empirical, empirical logic, and empirical ethics and based on theoretical basis are used to extract data, interpret behavior, perform data analysis, present findings and discuss (meaning the findings).]]>

<![CDATA[Classroom action research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of PAI and BP on the material of honest attitude and behavior that has not yet reached the KKM. Attempts to solve the problem using the WhatsApp Voice note application. The type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were 17 students. The data collection technique used observation, test and documentation techniques. Validation of data using triangulation technique. The data analysis method used qualitative data analysis. The results showed an increase in student motivation from 9 students (52.94%), increased to 12 students (70.59%), and in the second cycle there were 16 students (94.12%), student learning outcomes data from 4 students (23 ,53%), increased to 9 students (52,94%), and in the second cycle there were 15 students (88,24%). The average learning outcomes also increased by 63.53 to 74.12 and 84.71. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the use of the WhatsApp Voice note application can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN 173105 Tarutung Semester 1 of the 2021/2022 Academic Year.]]>

Society is trapped in an attitude of prioritizing personal desires and disregarding the interests of others so that contemporary problems are born in today's society. Every individual should not only be concerned with the benefit of himself, while he mentions the problems that exist in his environment. This study will examine the terms of the Qur'an which are related to social intelligence. In this research, we will present a random interpretation of several verses of the Qur'an that are relevant to the theme of the discussion. The method used in this research is literature study with a thematic interpretation approach. The results of this study will reveal verses in the al-Qur'an that are relevant and related to social intelligence.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was carried out from July to December 2019 at SD Negeri 1 Sumbergirang with the source of the data being the review of informants and the results of observations. Data validation was carried out through data triangulation and review of informants with data analysis carried out on the results of observation data, data analysis and analysis of interview results. This study consisted of two cycles, each of which consisted of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results showed that the teacher's ability to manage learning could be improved by applying a direct instruction approach. Principals in carrying out their duties have a direct interest in teachers, especially in fostering and developing teacher skills and knowledge related to the development of learning management. The application of the DIA approach is proven to be able to improve teacher performance, especially in managing learning, namely the level of professional ability of teachers in the pre-cycle from 63.95% to 82.99% at the end of the second cycle, meaning an increase of around 19.04%.]]>

<![CDATA[The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which includes four components, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 17 students. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, tests and documentation. Validation of data using triangulation technique. The data analysis method used qualitative data analysis. The results showed an increase in student activity from 6 students or 35.29% in the initial condition, in the first cycle there were 11 students or 64.71%, and in the second cycle there were 17 students or 100%, and student learning completeness from the condition only 4 students or 23.53%, in the first cycle there were 10 students or 58.82%, and in the second cycle there were 15 students or 88.24%. The average learning outcomes increased from 58.82 to 67.06 and 77.06 in the second cycle. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the CTL method with the Media Voice Note WhatsApp can increase the activity and learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Bonang Semester 2 for the 2020/2021 academic year.]]>

<![CDATA[School Action Research aims to improve teacher skills in making Canva-based learning media by implementing iHT activities. The type of research is School Action Research. The research subjects were 12 teachers. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation techniques. Data validation with triangulation technique. The data analysis method used qualitative data analysis. The increase in the results of the assessment of the skills of teachers at SDN 1 Babaktulung in making Canva-based learning media in the initial conditions an average value of 44.68 in the Less (K) category, increased in the first cycle with an average value of 69.54 and in the Enough category. (C) and in the second cycle the average score was 89.66 in the Good category (B). The improvement of the skills of teachers at SDN 1 Babaktulung in making individual Canva-based learning media in the initial conditions there were no teachers declared complete, in the first cycle 6 teachers or 50% were declared complete and in the second cycle 12 teachers or 100% were declared complete.]]>

<![CDATA[This classroom action research aims to increase interest and learning outcomes using the whatsapp group application in the subject of the activity sub-theme in the afternoon of first graders at SDn Kajar. The research subjects were 26 students. Data collection techniques using the method of test, observation and documentation. The data validation technique uses source triangulation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative technique. The students' learning interest in the initial condition was 9 students or 34.62%, to 65.38% or 17 students, and 92.31% or 24 students in the second cycle. The average value of the initial conditions was 59.62 increased to 68.33, and 78.08 in the second cycle, while the level of mastery learning from 8 students or 30.77% to 16 students or 61.54% and 23 students or 88, 46% in the second cycle. This increase in learning outcomes can not be separated from the skills of teachers and students' interests. Referring to the research indicators, namely 85% of students experienced individual learning completeness 70, the research was declared successful.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance through the Islamic work ethic of employees at the Cooperative Unit at Tani Bahagia Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 75 employees. The data analysis technique used SEM-PLS with Smart-PLS 3.0 software. The results of the study found that transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership has a positive effect on Islamic work ethics. Islamic work ethic has a positive effect on employee performance. Islamic work ethic mediates the positive effect of transformational leadership on employee performance. The implication of this research is the importance of implementing a transformational leadership style in order to advance the quality of employee performance in the hope of increasing work activities, increasing and developing capital factors and strong business strategies, but also having to pay attention to human resources with good Islamic work ethics and have the value of good manners.]]>
