Abstract

This study is to examine the relationship between financial behavior of millennial generation during the COVID-19 pandemic which was influenced by factors such as financial literacy, lifestyle, emotional intelligence and the development of financial technology. The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic for the millennial generation certainly affects their financial behavior. The ability that has not been maximized in self-control, namely not being able to be wise in using money, not being able to control oneself when hanging out with other people and not being able to wisely face the changing times, indicates that the millennial generation still has low emotional intelligence. The results of this study were carried out descriptively or through descriptions that described and explained the research subject. Then for the approach in this research follow the steps of quantitative research work. The sample used in this study was 100 Millennials in Yogyakarta. The research variable data was processed using the Software Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 22. The analytical methods used included descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Financial literacy, lifestyle, emotional intelligence, and the development of fintech have a significant positive effect on the financial behavior. Financial literacy has a significant positive effect on the financial behavior. Lifestyle has a significant positive effect on the financial behavior. Emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on the financial behavior. The development of financial technology has a significant positive effect on the financial behavior.

Abstract

Study this aim analyze online strategy marketing based on strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats on trader clothes at Johar MAJT market Semarang to increase power competitiveness and sales. The research study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained from in-depth interviews with key informants. The research place is in Johar MAJT Market, Semarang, and the research informants are merchant clothing at the Johar MAJT market, Semarang. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documents. Technique analysis data use Miles and Huberman’s model include: 1) reduction,2) presentation. 3) conclusion and verification. Test validity uses credibility tests through technique triangulation technique and source. The results of the study can be concluded that online marketing can increase the power of competitive trader clothes at the Johar MAJT. The online marketing strategy is determined by a combination factor internal and external. In general trader clothes are in quadrant 1, progressive strategy is recommended (Strength-Opportunity -SO) and the company is in very good condition so there are a lot of opportunities to expand continually, increase growth and achieve progress maximum. Strategy Strength-Opportunity (SO) includes: 1) Utilise whole strength in conducting effective communication with consumers, 2) Expanding network by collaborating with marketplaces like Tokopedia, Blibli, Shoppee, and others, so that online sales can increase, 3) Expansion strategy: open outlet new, accept many resellers, 4) Push the price and give a discount product which often searching for community/new product as promotion,5) Cooperate with a distributor so that stock goods always available.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the authority of work discipline and leadership style on employee performance. The research was conducted at PDAM Tirta Griya Nata Cirebon with a total sample of 66 respondents. The determination of respondents selected through the technique of Probability Sampling with the type of sample is Random Sampling. Sampling from some populations without any difference is called probability sampling. The data analysis method used validity, reliability, classical assumptions, regression analysis, as well as t-test and F- a test which was processed through the IBM SPSS 23 (Special Package for Statistical Science) application. The results showed that the work discipline and sustainable leadership style on employee performance. The variable of work discipline and leadership style on employee performance has a significant positive effect of 27.5% and the remaining 72.5% is influenced by other factors. For PDAM Tirta Griya Nata Cirebon, it is important to pay attention to the leadership style given to employees and improve employee work discipline in order to create high employee performance and have a good impact on PDAM Tirta Griya Nata Cirebon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya beberapa poin penting yang terjadi di masyarakat. Pertama, mayoritas literatur yang ada perihal minat berwirausaha adalah minat secara umum, tidak dikhususkan pada kewirausahaan sosial. Beberapa dimensi antara literasi dan lingkungan berbeda cukup signifikan pada berbagai peneliti. Selanjutnya, minat berwirausaha sosial sangat menentukan keberhasilan program-program yang dijalankan oleh inkubator, akselerator, ataupun komunitas dan pemerintah. Hal ini tidak lepas dari adanya faktor kuat pada keberhasilan usaha sosial dalam menjawab berbagai permasalahan masyarakat dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh literasi dan lingkungan terhadap intensi mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha sosial di Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini menambahkan dimensi literasi usaha sosial sendiri, selain dari keuangan dan digital untuk menjadi salah satu dimensi dari variabel tersebut. Selain itu, kami juga akan mengawinkan beberapa dimensi yang tumpang tindih dari berbagai penelitian lain, agar terdapat satu definisi yang utuh dari variabel lingkungan yang dimaksudkan. Selain itu, pengukuran intensi berwirausaha akan kami kembangkan dengan pengukuran yang khas dengan nuansa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan model concurrent embedded strategy. Model ini mengkombinasikan penggunaan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif secara simultan (bersama-sama), dengan bobot kuantitatif yang lebih besar. Selain luaran penelitian yang berupa produk Buku Kewirausahaan yang berjudul: Kewirausahaan Sosial: Sebuah Tantangan dan Kesempatan, luaran penelitian ini juga berupa artikel yang terbit di jurnal nasional.

Abstract

Profitability is the company's ability to generate profits by using owned sources such as assets, capital or company sales. This study aims to determine the effect of working capital, sales growth, debt, company size and company growth on profitability. The research data used is data on the financial statements of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. The sampling method uses purposive sampling, which is to obtain samples according to certain criteria. The total sample is 38 property and real estate companies. Hypothesis testing in this study using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 25.0 program. The test results show that working capital, company growth, firm size and company growth have a positive effect on profitability, while debt has no effect on profitability.

Abstract

Generation Y or millennial This research focuses on the discussion of organizational commitment as a variable that affects the performance of generation Y or millennial employees in State-owned enterprises. The sample was determined using the purposive sampling method and the number of respondents in this study was 139 employees in Indonesia. The technique used to collect data from respondents is a questionnaire, then the analysis model used component-based SEM (structural equation model). This study found that organizational commitment has negatively related to employee performance. Furthermore, organizational commitment is not proven to acts as a mediator variable of the relationship between job characteristics and transformational leadership on employee performance.

Abstract

The feed industry plays an important role in the economy, as well as in stock investment activities. The performance of feedstock companies is highly dependent on internal and external conditions. This condition becomes an interesting thing to study related to the effect of stock returns. The method used in this study is panel data regression, with data samples from 4 companies with a quarterly period from 2017 to 2021. The quantitative approach uses an econometric approach to determine the financial and macroeconomic performance factors on stock prices in the animal feed sub-sector. The financial performance variables used are Cash Ratio (CashR), Debt Equity Ratio (DER), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Inventory Turnover (ITO), and macroeconomic variables, namely the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar (exchange rate), international soybean prices, the price of local corn. The results show that the ratio of profitability, liquidity, solvency, and exchange rates is an important part that must be considered before investing in a feed company. Industry NPM performance is 3 percent, where the company with the highest NPM is CPIN and the lowest is SIPD. The industry average CashR performance is 0.24, with the highest CashR company CPIN and the lowest MAIN. The industry's ITO performance is 4.06 times, with the company's highest ITO ratio being CPIN and the lowest being JPFA. The industry DER value is 1.10, with the highest DER company CPIN and three other companies (JPFA, MAIN, SIPD) below average.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture on Job Satisfaction of Millennial employees in Bandar Lampung. The population in this study is the all-millennial employees in Bandar Lampung and the sample took the entire population using the non-probability sampling method using the incidental sampling method, sampling techniques based on intuition, i.e., anyone who is well literate and suitable with the criteria can be used as a sample. In this research, Slovin’s formula sample calculation was used so that a sample of 399 employees. The results of the study show that the transformational leadership variable has no significant effect on the job satisfaction of millennial employees in Bandar Lampung. The organizational culture variable has a significant influence on the job satisfaction of millennial employees in Bandar Lampung. The results of the study also show that transformational leadership and organizational culture simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of Millennial employees in Bandar Lampung. Meanwhile, based on the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.487 or 48.7%. This shows that 48.7% of the variable job satisfaction can be influenced by transformational leadership (X1) and organizational culture (X2). While the remaining 51.3% is found in other variables that are not present or not examined in this study

Abstract

The competitive landscape of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia underscores the importance of sustained customer loyalty as a strategic imperative for growth and resilience. This research explores the dynamic relationship between employee engagement, marketing capability, innovation, and their combined impact on sustainable customer loyalty in the Indonesian MSME sector. A sample of 275 respondents provided insights into their demographic profile and perceptions. The study used SPSS version 26 software in analyzing the data, including instrument tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing regarding the positive influence of employee engagement, marketing capability, and innovation on sustainable customer loyalty. The findings strongly support these relationships, highlighting the importance of employee engagement, marketing capability, and innovation as drivers of sustained customer loyalty. The implications of these findings extend to MSMEs practitioners, policymakers, and academics, emphasizing the need for strategic investments in these critical areas to enhance the long-term growth and sustainability of the MSME sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

This comprehensive research delves into the seamless integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors within the financial disclosures of 120 manufacturing enterprises situated in West Java. Employing a multifaceted approach encompassing content analysis, in-depth interviews, and comprehensive stakeholder surveys, this study uncovers sustainable reporting strategies and conducts an in-depth assessment of ESG integration. Furthermore, it diligently explores stakeholder perceptions surrounding these integrations. The results obtained from this extensive investigation portray a landscape marked by substantial ESG disclosures within the financial reports, with a particular emphasis on environmental aspects. Interviews conducted as part of the study brought to light a myriad of motivations, challenges, and innovative strategies employed by these manufacturing companies. Meanwhile, the stakeholder surveys were a testament to the growing reliance on ESG information as a critical decision-making resource. The study's findings offer guidance for manufacturing businesses seeking to achieve a harmonious integration of economic growth, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship. By enhancing transparency, accountability, and responsible practices, these companies may foster sustainable development not just in West Java but also in other regions.
