Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify Eastern Cultural Values Lost During the Covid-19 Period in Early Childhood Learning. The research method used is a survey. The subject of this research is a kindergarten institution. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire containing what values have been lost during this pandemic. The results of this study are that this pandemic has an impact on the education sector. Learning that used to be face-to-face is now online learning. This has an impact on the loss of missing eastern cultural values, including shaking hands, sitting side by side, recreation together, holding hands, kissing hands, embracing, performing arts, ceremonies, eating together, extra art learning, field trips, gymnastics together, smiling. who bloomed, and in uniform.

Abstract

Since COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way people conduct things, including educational activities, online learning has become a necessity that schools must adopt. This study aims to analyze the relationship of various variables that affect the success of online learning in accounting subjects in vocational high. This study is a quantitative cross-sectional online survey with 308 respondents from 26 schools in North Sumatra, Indonesia. Data analysis was performed through regression analysis with moderating variables. It concluded that the success of online learning process as measured by Learning Satisfaction was influenced by Student Characteristics, Learning Accessibility, and Textbooks, while Multimedia Materials and other Text Materials did not have any effect. It further observed that teacher Support does not affect learning satisfaction but can moderate the relationship between student characteristics and textbook quality. This means that all related parties need to focus on changing students' mindset, improving the quality of textbooks, and increasing accessibility. On the other hand, to increase success, it is necessary to strengthen the role of teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap fenomenologi tentang praktik perjudian togel oleh masyarakat Ibukota Provinsi Papua Barat di Manokwari di tinjau dari aspek Sosial, Agama, Hukum, dan Ekonomil. Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan juga dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan dari dampak sosial judi togel (toto gelap) sangat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat kota. Manokwari yang berdampak negatif diantaranya dengan timbulnya masalah ekonomi keluarga, sosial antara lain kebiasaan minum-minuman keras, intimidasi, memeras, maling, jambret, mencopet, malas-malasan bahkan keretakan rumah tangga hingga perceraian, dampak timbulnya kriminal lain serta dampak psikologi bagi pelaku judi itu sendiri.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling in elementary schools are intended to help students develop various potentials within themselves so that they are able to have good adjustments to assignments and learning activities, so as to achieve high academic achievement. Tutoring for school students one of which is oriented to develop student learning motivation. High learning motivation encourages students to achieve optimal learning achievement. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of group guidance to increase student motivation in elementary schools. This study uses pre-experimental study with one-group pre-test-posttest design. The research subjects were elementary school students with a sample of 40 students. The research data was collected through a learning motivation questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and hypothesis testing through paired sample t-test. The results of descriptive data analysis showed that students learning motivation increased from before participating in group guidance learning which was in the medium category to high after participating in group guidance learning. These results are also supported by the results of the t-test analysis which shows that there are significant differences in learning motivation between before and after following group guidance. This shows that tutoring with group guidance techniques is effective in increasing the learning motivation of elementary school students. The implication of this results research to elementary school guidance and counseling program were discussed.

Abstract

This study aim to analyze how students in Indonesia and Nigeria used Project-Based Learning to develop their entrepreneurial skills. Qualitative methods with observation sheet and students’ project document were used as instruments in this study. The subjects were student whom join course entrepreneurship in Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Universitas Bengkulu. The success of the Project-Based Learning strategy is evaluated by reviewing projects completed by students. The results obtained in Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Universitas Bengkulu indicated that PjBL approach increases students’ entrepreneurship skill development, creative thinking, and problem solving. The findings of this study can be used by universities in Indonesia, Nigeria, and other countries as an alternative learning strategy. These are very important for everyone in the future. Hence, PjBL is an effective method that can be used to enhance the entrepreneurial skill of students compared to the traditional class structure where the teacher or lecturer do more of the teaching with less students’ involvement. This study provides an alternative option for developing entrepreneurial skills through project-based learning in both Indonesia and Nigeria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impacts of Quality of World Life (QWL), Work Motivation (WM) on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) mediated by Job Satisfaction (JS). Here, information and data are obtained from 171 responses from PT. Regar sport Industri Indonesia employees collected using online questionnaires. The data were analyzed via factor analysis with SPSS supports. From the analysis, the results describe that there is a direct effect of QWL and WM on OCB. Furthermore, there is an indirect influence of QWL and WM on OCB mediated by JS. Interestingly, the mediation variable is incapable to directly affect the OCB.  Therefore, this study demonstrates the importance of QWL and motivation so that Job Satisfaction is fulfilled and finally the formation of OCB employees is established.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and describe the performance of village assistants in sustainable community empowerment activities in Lalonaha Village, Wolo District, Kolaka Regency. Qualitative descriptive research method. Data obtained through interviews, literature study, and observation. The data analysis stage uses the Miles and Huberman method, namely data collection, data presentation, data verification, and concluding. Based on the research results, village assistants' capability in its implementation has not optimally because there are still many priority programs that people should expect but have not implemented. Activities carried out by village assistants in terms of development implementation, development supervision, and village administration training carried out by village assistants in Lalonaha Village, Wolo District have been able to run well, it is just that the obstacles faced regarding the quality of work by village assistants have not been able to carry out proper coordination fully. Both between the Lalonaha Village Government and the village community. In the implementation stage of village facilitator activities to help village government activities have not been able to run well, this is because in every development activity and supervision of development programs carried out more by the village apparatus themselves. The independence of village assistants in improving community empowerment in the village Lalonaha has not gone well because the village government itself carries out almost all the implementation of village assistance activities.

Abstract

The Palembang City Government through the Education Office in collaboration with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of South Sumatra Province as well as with other stakeholders initiated the implementation of Filial Schools Services for Child Prisoners at LPKA Class I Palembang. This study aimed at evaluating Filial Schools Filial Schools for Child Prisoners at LPKA Class I Palembang. This was evaluation research with a qualitative approach and using CIPP model. Data collection in this research was through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study consisted of an accompanying teacher, a party from the Education Office, and a student. The data were analysed using Miles and Huberman model. The validity of the research data was obtained by using triangulation techniques by comparing the data from interviews, observations, and documentation. The study found that the fulfillment of educational right for children in conflict with the law through the Filial School Program at LPKA Class 1 Palembang has been going well. Based on the monitoring results, most of the children who have completed their education at LPKA have been able to improve their welfare. The Filial school program in providing the right to formal education for children through Quality Formal Education Services for Children at LPKA Class I Palembang has been going well. This program also presents the same curriculum as formal schools, also equipped with character building, as well as the development of various skills in students.

Abstract

Individual quality of life is influenced by health, both physical and psychological health. Individual psychological health is related to mental health. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on public health, especially in the world of work. Based on this, the researchers conducted research on the mental health condition of the community in the work environment in terms of gender and length of work. This study uses a comparative descriptive research method. The research sample amounted to 38 people, namely 11 male and 27 female. The research sample came from Sumatra and Java. The instrument used in this study is a mental health instrument. Data collection is done through google form. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using the program JASP (Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program) version 0.12 and the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) program. The results showed that men's mental health was better in the work environment than women and there were differences in mental health in terms of length of work. Therefore, to improve the mental health of workers, it is possible to apply religiosity in the work environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of intellectual intelligence and Adversity Quotient on learning motivation State Vocational High School 1 Pasmah Air Keruh. The sample in this study amounted to 96 students. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is inferential statistical analysis, correlation test, T test and F test. Based on the results of the study, there is a significant influence of intellectual intelligence and adversity quotient together on learning motivation. This means that the higher the level of intellectual intelligence and adversity quotient in students, the more motivating and enthusiastic students are in learning
